Lord God of Truth Within

Chapter 57: Periodic Illumination

Our first periods of instruction give us a general outline of the knowledge best suited for our present day development. Later, intermittent vibrations come to us from the “sounding board” of nature. These vibrations of intelligence only tap the consciousness of man periodically, just as in astrology the planets, through the shifting of their positions, vary in their influence over us. At certain times, for instance, the planet Jupiter strongly influences the mind of humanity, then his power wanes and seemingly disappears for a time while Saturn, Venus, or Mercury take the stage. So it is with nature’s vibrations, which call to us intermittently, and give beneficent instruction, and it is during these information periods that the arts and sciences are able to bring into existence things previously dreamed of.

These intermittent periods of instruction make possible the materialization of newer ideals of a constructive nature to nullify former periods of destruction, and to the student these periods bring discoveries which had been lying dormant in the recesses of his being.

The enlightened minds which work for the good of others, and have a strong desire to attain perfection through the arts and sciences, will shortly make a great discovery which will bring about a new world concept of man’s relationship to his brother man and to his Mother Nature.

That new type of intelligence that is springing up in the heart of man is a desire to know himself, his brother man and nature. This is leading to the great discovery of this New Age, when mankind will work with enthusiasm for the common good, regardless of inherited principles handed down through the dark ages of his forebears.

Man has been slowly exterminating himself through ignorance of the laws of nature. Individually and by slow degrees he is becoming poisoned, because he lacks the knowledge of how to help himself. In this New Age of discovery, he will be taught how by following natural laws he may eliminate from his system those poisons which bring about premature death. He will be taught right living (which is a process of right thinking) and his natural place and position in society, and in time he will insist on having food in which the natural elements are not adulterated.

Man suffering from bodily disorders can no more enjoy happiness than a wireless set can attune itself to a broadcasting station when its component parts are broken or worn out!

Until the advent of white settlers the native people were a noble race living natural lives. At the present day this once noble race is nearly exterminated through disease and customs brought to them by civilization. As an example of this, we have only to look at the natives of Tahiti, and at the Zulu tribes in Africa, the Indians of America, and the Kanakas of Hawaii.

Man’s greed and inhumanity has placed the nations of the world in the position in which we find them today. Because of his unnatural life, nature has shut down on man’s power of memory, and he is gradually exterminating himself through the efforts of the so-called Christian nations to conquer each other. Men are denied their natural rights by taxation and extending state control over the individual in order to prepare for some still greater war. Weapons of war quickly become obsolete through more modern inventions, and each country seeks to produce powerful destructive agents, for all of which the individual has to pay. Fleets of planes are being constructed so fast that those of yesterday are out of date, and tomorrow will see the present product condemned to obsolescence.

Eventually no place on earth will be free from the destructive hand of man. Russia can bomb England within seven hours, and before long even America’s stretches of ocean will not be protective barriers against the aerial warlords of destruction.

Neither the actors nor humanity realize that the destructive agents who cause so much suffering by the sword, quickly meet their own doom. Most of the leaders who brought about the great Russian revolution have been shot by their compatriots. And the law of karma will exterminate in shame the totalitarian war makers of today. The great initiates speak of this karmic law in nature, which hastens the punishment of those who initiate strife and destroy life with lethal weapons. While they reign, no country is secure, for such leaders are true to their birthright and have no heritage of position or leadership and no integrity of purpose. Yet they can cause old traditions to change and the security of a peace loving nation to disappear in a watch in the night.

In order to find any true security, man must return again to the laws of nature and endeavor to obey them; then a Golden Age will again manifest; man’s instinctive nature will be reborn; and he, possessing nature’s will once more, will thus gain her bounty.

It is for man to choose whether he will be governed by his personal will, or his Lord God of Truth within. Our great avatars have all said, “Do unto others, as you would they should do unto you,” and in this New Age they add, “Give unto nature that which you desire her to give unto you.”
