The first room one enters in a Christian church is called the narthex. Historically, those who wanted to enter a church and participate in its rituals would first have to earn that right. In the narthex, they would be instructed and prepared; they would learn the mystery of baptism and the methods for self-improvement. Only those who adopted those methods and proved their sincerity would be invited to enter the church itself.

For this new era, this new community will serve the same function in a modern form. That is why we have named it The Narthex.
