"And out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shining in his strength." - Revelation 1:16

"Be thou, oh Hadit, my secret, the Gnostic mystery of my Being, the central point of my connection, my heart itself, and bloom on my fertile lips, made Word!"

The rune we discussed previously, Hagal, is in the very center of the Aztec Calendar where we find that which in Nahuatl language is called the Nahui-Ollin. Nahui means "four" and Olin means "movement," so Nahui-Olin means "the four in movement."

We are returning to the rune Hagal because Dagaz and Hagal go together, for as we already stated, from the rune Hagal emerged all the runes. And the rune Dagaz, Dagas or Dagash דגש gives emphasis, intensity of expression to the rune (HAGAL הגאל) the Redeemer.

The Knife, The Tongue

As you observe, the rune Dagaz is related with the Spanish word daga, which in English is "dagger," and is very similar. This is the same Tecpatl (flint knife) that protrudes from the mouth of Tonatiuh, the fifth Sun, which is at the very center of the Aztec Calendar. As we have stated in other lectures, that tongue, Tecpatl, is the representation of the Word, the Logos, which is a Trinity represented by the triangular tongue: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; or Father, Mother and Son.

So, the tongue, the Tecpatl (flint knife), is that "sharp two edged sword" mentioned in Revelation 1:16, and the same tongue mentioned in Revelation 19:15:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war." -Revelation 19:11

"And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations." - Revelation 19:15

"And his name is called The Word of God..." - Revelation 19:13

It is very important to understand why the knight of the white horse wields a sharp sword (Dagaz) out of his mouth, because what the book of Revelation also states in chapter 1:16 is precisely what we see in the very center of the Aztec calendar. The fifth Sun, which we have stated in many lectures, relates to Samael, the fifth Angel of the book of Revelation. It is also related with the fifth Sun, Tonatiuh, which is the Sun that gives the heat to this Aryan Root Race that populates all the continents of the world.

rune dagaz

The shape of the rune Dagaz relates with two Dorn runes. Can you see the similitude?

The rune Dorn is also called Thorn. Hence, Dorn or Thorn is the rune related with the Thorn on the top of the head of Tonatiuh and also with the Tecpatl (flint dagger), his tongue.

aztec calendar tongue

If you take both triangles and unite them, then you have the six-pointed star that is related with the same rune Hagal.

seal of solomon

However, if we modify these two triangles, and present them in a different shape (as the rune Dagaz), we will say that the triangle above is the Thorn, Dorn on the left, united by its apex to the lower triangle or Dorn on the right. So, the triangles above the head and the triangle below that form the tongue, when flipped, form the rune Dagaz, shaped by two runes Dorn. In other words, the rune Dagaz is formed by two Thorns, two trinities.

rune dagaz

The Trinity above the head represents Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Atziluth, and the triangle below which forms the tongue of Tonatiuh (which represents the Word) is Father, Mother and Son. In the previous lecture, we told you that this triangle is Isis, Osiris and Horus, the Trinity in Briah, the world of creation.

So, the triangle above is the trinity in the world of Archetypes; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The triangle represented by the Tongue, is the Triangle of Creation, represented by the rune Dagaz; thus, we see that the triangle below relates to the triangle above. This is what we see in the shape of the rune Dagaz.

These two triangles are precisely what we see in the representation of the Pharaoh. As we observe, two Dagaz runes are formed in the image of the Pharaoh. One Dagaz is formed by the two arms crossed over his chest, and the other is formed by the scepter and the whip, which point precisely to the throat of the Pharaoh. The throat is related to the Sephirah, Daath, which in Hebrew means knowledge.

egyptian pharoah

It is also very significant that the word Daath in Hebrew begins with "D", Daleth, which in ancient times, as a symbol, was represented by a triangle. Yes, the letter Daleth, which is the letter delta of the Greek alphabet, is represented by a triangle.

delta, daleth, dagaz

The letter "D", Delta, Daleth, Dagaz, Dorn (which is German for Thorn), is in any alphabet, and as we see, the triangular shape forms a Thorn, which the Aztecs represented as the Tecpatl (flint Dagger) coming from the mouth of the Sun, Tonatiuh.

dorn as tongue

aztec tongue

In the tongue, the Tecpatl (flint dagger), you see an eye with eyebrows. That eye represents clairvoyance: the way in which we have to see what the Word means. The Word can also hurt and so this is represented by the jaw or the claw in it. Sometimes these jaws, which are also on each side of the face of Tonatiuh, are said to be the jaws of a tiger or claws of an eagle. Either way, the claws of an eagle, or the jaws of a tiger, this symbolizes the Spirit. The tiger is a symbol of the Spirit, as is the eagle in different ways. So, the claw or jaw represents what we can hurt with our tongue, or what, by uttering the truth, can hurt the animal ego. This is why it is stated in the book of Revelation:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.... And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it (with his words) he should smite the nations (hurt the multitudes). And his name is called The Word of God..." - Revelation 19:13

This is something very important because when we talk about the Word and language, it is very important to understand that tongue in Spanish is lengua, which derives from the Latin word lingua. In English, you say language, in order to specify the way in which we speak. This is because the tongue is the instrument for the manifestation of the Word and the breath is the Spirit whose organ-vehicle is the lungs. The tongue gives the form, whereas the lung offers the substance. As we have explained in previous lectures, the lungs relate to the breath. Without the breath, we cannot utter any word. So, the tongue gives the form, the shape to the sounds that we emit through the larynx, the throat. The lungs are the organs that give the substance, the air, which we have stated is Aleph, the symbol of the Father. When we are talking, we are putting the essence of the Father, which is the air from the lungs, onto our tongue. As we stated, the tongue and the whole larynx are feminine organs. So, the lungs fecundate the larynx and the tongue delivers the Son of God, which is the Logos, the Word.

This is precisely why in the second chapter of the book Alchemy and Kabbalah in the Tarot by Samael Aun Weor there is a prayer which says:

"Be thou, oh Hadit, my secret, the Gnostic mystery of my Being, the central point of my connection, my heart itself, and bloom on my fertile lips, made Word!"

This supplication relates to three points, three knots in our body. Hadit, which is the winged serpent of light, the Kundalini, unites, namely, the first, "the central point of my connection." What connection? The two runes Dorn in sexual connection, because from there the serpent rises to the heart, where we find the other Dagaz, which the Pharaoh shows us with his crossed arms. In other words, "Be thou, oh Hadit, my secret, the Gnostic mystery of my Being," by becoming first "the central point of my connection," which is Yesod; second, by becoming "My heart itself," which is Tiphereth, and third, by "blooming on my fertile lips made Word," which is Daath. This is the mystery of Dagaz in the three brains.

The Crossed Arms and Death

Samael Aun Weor teaches us in his books—especially the book Practical Astrology—that when we go to any temple of the White Lodge in the internal planes, we have to salute two guardians: the one on the right and the one on the left, as if saying two letters Daleth or two runes Dorn, which together form the rune Dagaz. Thus, we must form the rune Dagaz by crossing our arms over our chest, and while humbly prostrating we say, "Jachin... Boaz...," we pronounce Jachin by bending to the right and Boaz by bending to the left. We do this in order to enter into the temple. Then the guardians will allow us to pass because the guardians are also forming a Dagaz with their crossing swords (which are the symbol of their tongue) in front of any that approaches. The swords crossed in the form of an X are blocking the steps of the one who approaches the temple. So then, we must salute them by performing the rune Dagaz on our chest while saying, "Jachin.... Boaz..." These words are written in the Bible:

BoazJachin

"And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and he called the name thereof Boaz." - 1 Kings 7:21

Jachin and Boaz

So, these two words are the secret words needed in order to enter into any temple of the White Lodge.

The rune Dagaz relates to the beginning and the ending of a cycle. The cycle begins with the crossed arms, which symbolizes the will of God and that we are performing the will of God.

Let us read what Samael explains when he was experiencing the Mount of Olives in the sixth dimension. In the Tree of Life, this relates to Tiphereth, the very center of the Tree of Life, which is related with the heart. He wrote:

"There, as a Causal Man seated with much humility, I crossed my arms over my chest in order to assist in the final ceremony... [You see? That is Dagaz].

"Unfortunately, I had the wrong custom of crossing my arms in such a way that the left was always over the right...

"'Thou should not cross thy arms in such a way,' an adept of the temple told me. Then, he added, 'The right must go over the left.' I obeyed his instructions.

"Have you ever seen an Egyptian sarcophagus? The crossed arms over the chest of the defunct illustrate these affirmations. Any skull between two crossbones or skeletal bones (usually known as a sign of danger) also represents these affirmations.

"The deep significance of this symbol is to perform the will of the Father on Earth as it is in heaven; to die in the Lord..."

This is a symbol of the second factor of the revolution of the consciousness, to die. Remember, that the factor to be born again is related with Yesod, because through Yesod is how we are born within, by creating the internal bodies. However, the cross over the chest (my heart itself) is the symbol of dying in the Lord. Then, he wrote:

"When the great Kabir Jesus was on the Mount of Olives, he prayed as follows:

"O my Father, if thou be willing remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine be done."

"Not my will, but thine be done"—two wills, as we have explained. The will of Tiphereth is one Daleth. The second one is the other Daleth, or two Dorn runes, which together form the rune Dagaz. The rune Dagaz is the union of the human will with the Divine Will. This is what we have to understand. Then He says,

"And there appeared an Angel unto him, from Heaven."

That Angel that came from Heaven represents the first triangle, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. His own particular individual Glorian, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, appeared from Heaven.

"And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow [with their consciousness asleep], and said unto them, why sleep ye? [Why do you have your consciousness asleep?] Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation [because it is clear that the sleeping ones fall into temptation]." - Luke 22:42, 44-46

So, the consciousness, as you see, is precisely the one that has to awaken. That consciousness is Tiphereth, which is represented by that triangle below. Why? Because Tiphereth is part of the Monad, which is Chesed, Geburah and Tiphereth: The Spirit, the Divine Soul and the Human Soul. That is the Trinity that is working, united with the upper Trinity. The upper and the lower Trinities are represented in Jesus, the Bodhisattva, the Human Soul. So, this union is very important in order to die in the Lord. That is why in The Great Rebellion, the book written by Samael Aun Weor, he stated:

"Elimination of the diverse inhuman elements that we carry within is inconceivable without the radical elimination of the intrinsic causes of our psychological defects. Obviously, the causal I's are closely related to specific Karmic debts. Only the most profound repentance and corresponding negotiations with the Masters of the Law can give us the joy of achieving disintegration of all of those causal elements, which in one form or another can lead us to the final elimination of undesirable elements. The intrinsic causes of our errors can certainly be eradicated from within us, thanks to the efficient works of the Intimate Christ."

So, when we talk about annihilation of the ego, behold there the union of the Human Soul, which is bottled up within the ego, with the Inner Lord, the Inner Christ, the individual Savior. Then he adds:

"As long as the Intimate Christ has not been born within us, the dissolution of the causes of the ego will not be possible."

Behold then the importance of the incarnation of the Lord, because he is the Savior. Many Gnostics think that they can eliminate the causes of the ego just by themselves. That is not possible. That is why there is much confusion in relation with this rune Dagaz, because esoterically this rune relates to a cycle. Any cycle begins with Dagaz and ends with Dagaz. When we enter into a temple of the White Lodge, before entering, we make the rune and salute, "Jachin, Boaz." Then we enter, because the guardians open the Dagaz that they formed with their swords in order for us to enter. Once in the temple, we do what we have to do. When we leave, we have to give thanks. In order to give thanks for the help we received, we always cross our arms over our chest. This is done unconsciously in many religions. In order to talk to God, people cross their arms over their chest and concentrate in their heart. Such an action symbolizes to die in the Lord, or in other words, that we have to psychologically die.

As it is written: "In the beginning was the Logos and the Logos was with God and the Logos was God;" this means, in the three factors of the revolution of the consciousness, in Dagaz, which first is formed by the crossed arms over Yesod, the sex; however, when we have our arms over our chest that is the beginning of the end.

"The deep significance of this symbol is to perform the will of the Father on Earth as it is in heaven; to die in the Lord..."

This means annihilation of the ego. After we reach the Second Birth in Tiphereth, when we incarnate the Human Soul, then we have the duty of annihilating the ego completely; thus in that state, the Dagaz in our heart, we incarnate the Lord.

Understand that Tiphereth is the one who incarnates the Lord. When Tiphereth incarnates the Lord, which is the Word, the Logos, he receives the title of "the Son of Man."

The Son of Man is a beautiful mixture that we have to understand in order to comprehend this doctrine, because the rune Dagaz is related with Alpha and Omega. Remember that the Tecpatl (flint dagger) of the Lord said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending." That statement is related to the rune Dagaz. The incarnation of the Logos begins with Dagaz and ends with Dagaz, in our heart, Tiphereth.

When we want to do this work, which we have to do, remember that God is the one who is doing it through us. Let us not think mistakenly, as other Initiates did, who thought that they could do the work only with their own will, without taking into account the will of God. They were wrong because Dagaz shows us two wills, two Thorns united. These also represent the two wills; the female and the male wills, sexually united, in order to be born again, and in order to die. Yet, to annihilate the causes of the ego will not be possible without the incarnation of the Lord.

"As long as the Intimate Christ has not been born within us, the dissolution of the causes of the ego will not be possible." - Samael Aun Weor

In the beginning, the initiate comprehends the ego and annihilates it. He does it by asking his Divine Mother, Hadit, for the annihilation of that ego that he comprehended. Later on, however, if one wants to go into the very causes of those egos, the origins, in order to fulfill true repentance, then one has to incarnate the Lord in Tiphereth-Venus. This is because only the Lord can negotiate such types of Karma; and this is precisely what Dagaz shows us. Thus, we have to humble ourselves in order for those negotiations to be performed. But, who is the one who is doing such negotiations with the Law (which is represented by the Sun; remember the heart, Tiphereth, the center of the Tree of Life is symbolized by Venus and the Sun)? These are done by the Sun-Christ, the center of the solar system, which relates to the Law of Karma.

Only the Lord can negotiate causal Karma, only the Lord can save us. So, true repentance is precisely the symbol of the two arms over the chest. True repentance is only possible when we incarnate the Lord. Hence, this is how the Lord suffers in the Causal World, Tiphereth, negotiating our own Karma. When the Logos is mixed, mingled, with us, the Human Soul, that union is called the Son of Man. So, as the Son of Man, he goes into the tribunals of karma when he wants the annihilation of certain causal egos. Then, the Lords of Karma give the okay or not. They could say, "No, you have to suffer; and after that suffering, you have to annihilate that ego, before that, you cannot." This is something that many Gnostics do not understand, even though the Master explains that very clearly. Certain causal egos have strong Karmas, and you have to negotiate that. When I say, you, I mean you, the Human Soul has to do that, but united with the Lord, because only the Lord, incarnated within the soul, can do such negotiations.

Thus, the initiate has to suffer in the physical world for the consequences of those negotiations. Sometimes, those negotiations have nothing to do with the common and ordinary life of any Gnostic. Sometimes it contradicts the rules written in many books. That is why Samael stated:

"What do the hypocritical Pharisees know about the intimate life of the wise?

"Nevertheless, the Pharisees dare to attack the adepts of the Great Work. Never has any Pharisee believed himself to be mistaken. The Pharisees hate Christ, thus, they condemn Him each time He comes to the Earth. The Pharisees arose, have arisen and will arise in rebellion against the Lord who comes to teach them.

"Christ is judged by the Pharisees who believe themselves to be wise. Thus, this is how they throw stones against Him.

"The most critical is the ingratitude of the Pharisees. They attack Christ with the very same words and teachings that they learned from the Lord. They use the words of the Lord in order to attack the Lord.

"How absurd it is to judge by appearance and throw stones against Christ.

"A horrible Karma will befall upon the hypocritical Pharisees. The hypocritical Pharisees devolve within the submerged mineral kingdom of the infernal worlds. The Second Death and the burning lake of fire and sulfur await the hypocritical Pharisees.

"The Pharisee 'I' exists within each person. Woe to those who do not dissolve the Pharisee 'I'!"

This is how those initiates who ignore this attack the Lord with the same words written by the Lord. This is because they ignore that the Lord is suffering within that initiate, who has to suffer such Karma, yes the Lord is also there, mingled with him. That is the mixture that we have to understand, which is called the Son of Man. There are many Initiates that do not understand that, because in order to understand that, you have to reach the level of Tiphereth and take the Direct Path, and incarnate the Lord.

One thing is to reach Tiphereth, Mastery, and to take the Spiral Path. Another thing is to reach Tiphereth and to take the Direct Path. Nevertheless, one thing is to take the Direct Path, and another is to incarnate the Lord! Why? It is because the initiate is tested; so after taking the Direct Path the initiate is tested by the Lord. If he passes the test, the Lord incarnates in him, in order to help him to annihilate the causal egos, the very root of his own ego.

So, to be anointed by the Lord is the great hope of any Initiate. In order to become such a chosen one, we have to advance five Initiations. Remember that the Book of Revelation states: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending," or, better said, "The beginning of life, and the ending of life, which is death."

deathDeath is symbolized by the skull crossed by two bones, which is the same symbol of Dagaz, the symbol of death. When we reach the death of our ego, then we are Self-realized, the symbol of death is precisely two bones, forming an X, with a skull above. Indeed, this is the cycle that the rune Dagaz teaches us:

"Completion of the cycle is equal to its Initiation plus the experience of its revolution."

Dagaz as a symbol is written in the book of Genesis, which states in very simple words, "And the evening and the morning was the first Dagaz [which also symbolizes Day.]" Day, Dia in Spanish, begins with "D" Dagaz. Every cycle, the first Initiation of the Major Mysteries, is the first cycle of evening and morning. There are seven cycles written about in the book of Genesis, which says, "And the evening and the morning was the second day... and the evening and the morning was the third day..." and likewise for all the seven days. Who is the evening? It is the woman. Who is the morning? It is the man. Between the two, they form Dagaz.

You might ask, "Why is the woman the evening?" Because she has the womb, within which is darkness, so, she creates, light, life. The fetus within the womb is in darkness for nine months. So, the woman is always the night and the man is always the day. That is why in Kabbalah, Tiphereth, which is the East, represents the man and Malkuth, which is the West, represents the woman. So, between the two Daleth, the two Dorn is Dagaz. You see now how it always works. This cycle is shown in the Bible in many ways. For instance, we showed you the way in which we have to perform the Microcosmic Star, but let me tell you that before we start the Microcosmic Star, we have to cross our arms over our chest and ask for protection from our Inner Being, in order for our Inner Being to give us the energy and strength, the power needed in order for that star to protect us. Thereafter, we descend our arms next to our body, and begin performing the Microcosmic Star, which ends with the rune Dagaz as well.

That is the complete cycle, the beginning and the ending. Do not forget this, because if we miss that then we deviate from the Path, because the Will of God is the beginning and the will of God is the ending. God is the one who creates; God is the one who annihilates the ego. Do not forget this. We, the spouses, perform the work of sexual magic, but the one who is raising the energy from the bottom to the top, is God, the Ruach Elohim. Then, when we become a Twice-born, if we take the Direct Path we have to annihilate the ego completely.

However, if we take the Spiral Path, we go onto the path of the hasnamussen: those who annihilate the ego little by little.

So, the path of the Son of Man is different, he incarnates the Lord, and reaches complete death in the second mountain. Thereafter, he performs sacrifice for humanity, which is another X, another Dagaz, of the Day. In order to be a Master of the Day, you have to work with this marvelous rune Dagaz.

The Expression of the Word

Well, when you imagine the tongue of Tonatiuh, which is the Tecpatl (flint Dagger, Daga in Spanish), the rune Dagaz, the sword of Samael, the instrument of the Word, you then comprehend what is written:

Whosoever knows, the word gives power to. No one has uttered it, no one will utter it, except the one in whom the Word is incarnated. The essence of the Word is power, is omnipotence. - Rosicrucian Novel by Arnold Krumm-Heller

So, to incarnate the Word is necessary on the path. The Word relates to Dagaz, which as you see relates to Daath; the mystery of the Sephirah Daath, the mystery of the throat, the mystery of Hadit, the Divine Mother, who bloom on my fertile lips, made Word.

When you want to see how the word John is written in the original Greek in the book of Revelation, you find that it is written Ἰωάννης, Iohannes. I-O-HA-NN-ES. This is why Samael Aun Weor stated in his book Logos, Mantra, Theurgy that the word Johannes is broken down into: I-E-O-U-A-M-S, the seven vowels, which are represented by seven runes, namely, the rune Is, the rune Eihwaz, the rune Othila, the rune Ur, the rune Ar, the rune Man, and the rune Sig at the end.

ieouams

We can see in the graphic how the seven vowels of Johannes are represented in the seven runes, which relate to the seven vowels of the word that we have to pronounce to activate the seven chakras. We state that these vowels are seven mantras, but what are vowels? They are perfect sounds in which the throat is not tight; in vowels, the open throat changes according to one position of the mouth and tongue. Yet, in consonants there is struggle, rubbing of the bronchial cords, which when tight cause disharmonious sounds. Vowels are uttered easily: Ihhh, Ehhh, Ohhh, Uhhh, Ahhh, Mmmm, Sssss.

We told you in a previous lecture that the H is also a vowel, thus, if you are observant, you will see that the H is behind all the vowels. In English, in order to show the sound of a letter individually, you place the H in front of that letter. For instance, the letter I, if you put the H there, how does it sound? Ih, this is how we learned it. If we put the H in front of the E, then the sound is Eh. The sound of the letter O is Oh; the letter U is Uh. If you put the letter H in front of the letter A, then the sound is Ah. This indicates one sound, one breath, the H, the rune Hagal, which is just a simple breath, you see? A simple exhalation of the vitality of your lungs: Ih, Eh, Oh, Uh, Ah.

So, place the "H" not at the beginning but after the first five vowels. For the M and S, it is not necessary.

So, Ih, Eh, Oh, Uh, Ah, M, S relate to the word Johannes in Greek and Latin. In German, they also say Johannes. In English it is John, where we only find four letters (the Welsh form of Ieuan; thus John, Ioan was adopted for the authorized version of the Bible). In Hebrew we say: "I-O-HA-NNAN", this is how we say it, Johannan. This is very significant, very profound, because all of those sounds come from the throat, the perfect tones of the Word of God, simple. In ancient times, there were more vowels, but in this time we only teach seven related with the word John. This is because John is the one that represents the Word. This is why we always quote the first verses of the Gospel of John:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was [I-E-O-U-A-M-S, Ieuan, Johannes, Johannan, John, the Word]." - John 1:1-6

You see? As simple as that; just pronounce I-E-O-U-A-M-S like that. Other letters, the consonants, are noises that are pronounced with the tongue and tight throat, they are not perfect sounds.

This is why Futharkh has the "H" at the end because the rune Hagal is the breath that contains the rest and all of the letters of the Runic Futharkh; we cannot pronounce any letter without the breath, the "H".

Nature always has a positive side and a negative, masculine and feminine, Ida and Pingala. One force propels and another holds. The throat, Daath, is the Tree of Good and Evil, with two opposite tendencies: Benediction ("to speak well of, bless," from bene "well" and dicere "to speak" - Bless-Sing) and Malediction (from Latin male "badly" and dicere "to say" - give tongue to) which constantly struggle. In our physical body this sounding fight takes place in our mouth.

In Daath, when there is comprehension of these opposites the Word of God is born. Such comprehension is already done in the seven vowels; yet, in consonants it is not.

The breath (Hagal) operates on the bronchial cords in order to utter the vowels and consonants; the sound of the seven vowels changes according to the position of the mouth (tongue). Yet, in consonants there is struggle, rubbing of the bronchial cords, which when united cause disharmonious sounds. The consonants are not tones but noises; and these find harmony only when the mouth and tongue take a different position, when in union with the sound of a vowel, that is, with new movements of the mouth and tongue.

The vowels are perfect sounds, but the consonants are imperfect sounds that need the assistance, the help of the vowels in order to make sense. You say for instance, "B". If you observe your tongue, you would see that when you pronounce any consonant, you have to unite it with a vowel, in order to make sense, in any language. The word language comes from the word lingua, 'tongue', It means the way in which you move the tongue. That is why when you investigate the origin of the languages, or the origin of the different tongues in other words, it is the way in which you pronounce the Word, according to your race, according to the language that you speak: Different languages, different ways in which you move your tongue. For instance, we always go into the ancient languages like Latin, Greek, Sanskrit, Chinese. Even here in the Americas, you find the Nahual, the Maya, different languages that come from the same root. Watan is the language of the Atlanteans, but that root also comes from another language, which is the Golden Language. When we talk about the Golden Language, we are talking about only one language. It is that language which was spoken in the beginning, and that ancient people were uttering. That language was related with the forces of Nature. However, we lost it because of fornication, because the throat is related with the sexual glands.

It is easy to see that when the man is reaching maturity his voice changes, because he his making sperm in his testicles. The woman also changes her voice, because of the sexual force of her ovaries. So, the sexual organs are related to the throat, because both are represented by the Hebrew letter Hei or "H".

So, Yod, Hei, Vav, Hei is YHVH. One H, or Hei, represents the sexual organs, and the other "H" represents the throat: both are feminine organs. So, behold there the relation between the two polarities of the sexual energy in the genitalia and throat.

When this humanity fornicated in the Lemurian times, little by little we lost the power of the Golden Language, which was spoken in relation with Nature. That language is still spoken by the Angels and by people from other planets. Yet, there are many derivations from that language, and on this planet we find a lot. That is why when we give lectures we always associate this given Word, this given knowledge, with words from Sanskrit, or from Latin, Greek, Mayan, because all of them are related to the golden language, all of them come from the same root.

Now, we are talking about the Nordic alphabet, the Nordics are related with the Nords, the European Root Race. There we find a language which is very similar to Hebrew in its intonation, which is German. In Europe, the German language has its roots in the runes. That is why in the fifth Root Race, in the time of the Germans and the Second World War, when they were studying the root of their own language, they found the runes. Yes, German is related with it. However, the runes are not only the root of the German language, but also Hebrew, Greek, Latin and many native languages in America are rooted in the runes, in the forces of Nature. They are variations of the ancient alphabet, the Runic alphabet, which was written in previous Root Races. As we said: Hebrew, Latin and many other languages, even their alphabets are derived from the Golden Language. This is what we have to understand.

Usually people associate the Runic language with the German language, and this is because the Fifth Aryan Sub-Race, the Germans, during the Second World War, took the Runic Alphabet in order to study their inheritance. This is because they found the root of it in that language, in that alphabet. We, the Gnostics, do not ignore this, but, we also investigated and found the runes in America, Mexico, the Mayans and Incas; therefore we know that American runes are more ancient than the runes that we find in Europe. It is because Mexico and Central America belonged to Lemuria, before it sank. When Atlantis emerged from the Atlantic Ocean, Mexico and Central America became part of Atlantis. When the Atlantean civilization sank into the Atlantic Ocean, Mexico and Central America remained. That is why we state in relation with the runes of America that its runes are very ancient. Some runes belonged to the Atlanteans, and others to the Lemurians.

Thus, when studying the Nordic alphabet, especially the rune Dagaz, we find how the Hebrew word Daath, knowledge, is related to it.

From Daath, the throat, the rune Dagaz, is related with the letter E, whose sound is Eh. In the Futharkh it is called Eihwaz. Sometimes it is called the rune Ehe, which is presented without a vertical line, similar to the rune Sig, yet different. We show it here with the vertical line, crossing it, in order to represent the letter E, which is a modification of Eihwaz.

eihwaz

It is stated that Eihwaz relates to the throat, because the sound Eh, vibrates in the throat. This is very important, because Dagaz is related with Daleth, with Daath, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Now, among the runes, the rune Eihwaz is also called the yew rune. Many wonder why Eihwaz is called the yew rune and why is Eihwaz related to the yew tree? We know that the Yew tree is a tree that always has red berries; it is similar to a cyprus. There are many variations of the yew tree. Sometimes they use it as a symbol of the Christmas tree. The Yew tree is also called the Yggdrassil tree, related with the Edda. The yew tree is the Yggdrassil. But, why is it called yew tree? Well, in many lectures we taught that in the throat is the Word of God which is precisely yew.

We explained that YEW relates to Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei, when we talked about the vowels of God, the Word of God. The Word of God relates to the Holy name of God, very well pronounced, with perfect tone, so listen and pay attention to this: We stated that the vowels are perfect tones, and the consonants are noises, so in order to name God, you have to name it with vowels. Since, when we say, for instance Yod-Chavah, we are pronouncing some consonants.

So, let us study the four letters Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei. We understand that in Hebrew in order to write the word Hei, the letter Hei or to spell it, we do it with the letter Hei and the letter Aleph. This way we understand why, in the Hebrew language, sometimes when we pronounce "Ah" at the end of the word, or in the middle of the word, instead of writing the letter Aleph, we write the letter Hei. So, the letter "H" or in other words the Hebrew letter Hei is always substituting the sound, the tone "Ah." Now, the first letter of the Holy name of God, which is Yod, has the sound EEE and I-AH. And when in Hebrew, you want to write the sound of the letter O or U, we write them with the letter Vav.

hebrew vav

Moreover, in these times, in the Hebrew language, if we want to write "Oh," we put a dot above the Vav; thus, the Vav sounds "Oh." But, if we want to write the sound IH with the letter Vav, we put the dot below it; thus, the Vav sounds IH; but, if we want to write the sound EH with the letter Vav, we put two dots below it, thus, the Vav sounds EH. Yet, if we want to write the sound UH with the letter Vav, we put the dot in it's belly, thus, the Vav sounds UH. So, when we read a word written with the letter Vav, we can read Oh, Ih, Eh or Uh. This is why the word YEW written with Hebrew letters shows the letter Vav at the end. Easy to write, is not it? The sound EH relates to the Hebrew letter Hei also; as shown in Yod-Hei-Vav.

This is why - based on the former explanation - Diodorus Siculus (Greek: Διόδωρος Σικελιώτης, Diodoros Sikeliotes) said that the Holy name of God that Moses taught to the Israelites was I-A-O, three vowels, which in other lectures we told you could also be read I-E-U. This is depending on how you read it, because if you want to write, Ieu, or Yew, in Hebrew, you have to use the three letters, Yod-He-Vav, of the Holy Name of God.

Gnostics state that the Holy name of God is I-A-O or Y-E-W, and this is why they call the letter "Eh" or rune Eihwaz, the Yew-letters; the Yew-letters related with the Yew tree. And they ask, "Why the Yew tree? I understand that it is Yod-He-Vav, I-E-U, but the Yew tree? It is because the sound Eh, which is also associated with Eihwaz, is related with the throat, and the throat in the Tree of Life is where we have the Sephirah Daath, which relates to the Tree of Good and Evil.

In other words, the rune Eihwaz, the rune Eh, the Yew tree points at our own throat, and the way in which we use the Word, whether for good or evil, because with our tongue we can bless or we can utter a damnation.

The Power of the Tongue

"Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listen. Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindles And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God; Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Does a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree [better said Yew tree], my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh." - James 3: 3-12

So, behold the Tree of Good and Evil, the Fig tree, the Yew tree, the Yggdrassil, which is the same Ash tree found in Wagner's opera. This is why the Yew tree is related with the rune Eihwaz, the throat.

Many people in ancient times, and in the Second World War, were Kabbalistically associating this, and said, "This is the rune of the Jews", related with the Israelites. This is because in order to right the word Jew in Hebrew, you write with Iod, Hei and Vav. Sex is always Kabbalistically associated with the throat with the Tree of Good and Evil. A person is sometimes good, sometimes evil, it depends on how he or she uses the tongue.

So. this is how the rune Eihwaz is associated with the rune Dagaz when we see Eihwaz crossed by a vertical line, like the X forming the two Daleths or Dorns of Dagaz.

This is the mystery of the Yew tree, the Yggdrassil, Ash tree, Fig tree related with the Eihwaz, the letter EH, or the rune Ehe related with the throat, which is the knowledge that we are approaching; the Tree of Good and Evil. Do you realize this? The Tree of Good and Evil is the sexual force that we have taught you in many lectures.

People think that the Tree of Good and Evil, the sexual force is only in Yesod; so, if they do not fornicate in Yesod, then they are doing good, not evil. But, they forget about Daath, the throat, because the throat is also a sexual organ, where you create words. You can kill with your words.

It comes into my mind now the incarnation of Samael as Julius Caesar, when he was assassinated by the dagger of Brutus. Now, in this day and age, the Master Samael said that Brutus came into his life again. But thank goodness he was not assassinated physically, but the dagger of Brutus, which is the tongue, hurt his knowledge. This is because the traitors use the tongue in order to hurt. If you go onto the internet, you find a lot of people using the Word, using the letters, in order to attack Gnosis, or using the letters, the words, in order to adulterate the Doctrine of the one that has the sharp sword with two edges, whose tongue goes out of his mouth as a sharp two-edged dagger or Dagaz, which is the symbol of Gnosis, knowledge.

Let us see, for instance, when you read a book, you read the letters written, which are forms derived from the runes, whether they are Latin letters, Hebrew letters, or Greek letters, and this is how you are receiving the knowledge. Yet, between the letters that are written and the word that is uttered, there is something, which is the essence, the Spirit, which is the air, which is always hidden behind the letters. You have to know how to enter into the meaning of the letter; that is why we said it is important to study the letters, the origin of the Word, in order to go into the Spirit, which is hidden behind the signs of the letters, whether it is Hebrew, Latin, etc.

So, in every book written by the Master Samael Aun Weor, there is something behind the letter. We have to go into that, even though his message is unveiled and spoken very clearly. There is something behind that we have to know how to go into, because he is addressing the Essence, the consciousness; the same is said for the books in the Bible, or any Holy Book. Thus, if we read literally, we lose the Spirit that vivifies the Word, and it is unfortunate that this is what happens in this day and age. We read but we are lazy, since we read the books, the sacred books and the message of the Master Samael, as if we were reading a newspaper, and that is wrong, because the message which is written in the books of the Master Samael Aun Weor is for the Spirit, the consciousness, and only in meditation can we extract that which is hidden in there. In the same way we must read the Bible, or the Qur'an. Unfortunately, in this day and age, lazy people do not know how to read. We have to learn how to read.

Remember that knowledge also depends on how we say things, since behind the words that I am pronouncing, behind that is my breath, which is Aleph, the power of the three Akashic breaths: Father, Son and Holy Spirit in my body. So, words have to be uttered; but if I utilize my tongue in the wrong way, I can even kill with my words, by giving a wrong advice.

Many people kill the intentions of the searchers of the light, when teaching wrong things. This is very difficult and to teach is a very strong responsibility, because we have to give the right tools to the consciousness. Yet, if we want to just boast about ourselves and say things that are wrong, just because we want people to follow us, then we are using the word of God in the wrong way. That Word is the Logos, the Son. Remember that Father-Mother, Father the essence, the lungs is the organ or instrument which is used by air in order to make sounds. So, the lungs are the Father. The tongue is the Mother, and what you utter are your children, the Son.

"But as many as received it [the Word], to them [the Word] gave them power to become children of God, even to them that have faith on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten (Word) of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Johannes bare witness of it (the Word), and cried, saying, this was (the Word) it of whom I SPOKE, that comes after me is preferred before me: for it (the Word) was before me (IEOUAMS). And of its fullness have all we received, and grace for grace." – John 1: 12-16

This is why it is stated:

Whosoever knows, the word gives power to. No one has uttered it, no one will utter it, except the one in whom the Word is incarnated. The essence of the Word is power, is omnipotence. - Rosicrucian Novel by Arnold Krumm-Heller

Thus the true children of Israel are the ones who have the Word of God incarnated. So Israelites are not the people who live in the Middle East, who use the tongue in the wrong way, but those who live in the Middle, the East of the Tree of Life; since in order for us to become a child of Israel in Malkuth, in the Flesh, we have To Know the Word in Israel, in the heart, in the Middle, in Tiphereth, the East. So, if we say, "I am a child of Israel." we are saying that we are Masters of the Fifth Initiation of the Major Mysteries, because Israel is in the heart, it is Jacob, the Sephirah of the Middle, Tiphereth.

Related to the three Hebrew patriarchs, Abraham is Chesed, Isaac is Geburah, and Tiphereth, the heart, is Jacob, Israel; thus, we reach the level of Tiphereth when we finish the cycle of to be born again. Then we become a child of Israel. So, the Children of Israel are the Masters. Yet, in this day and age, people that do not know how to read Kabbalah, who are not Initiates, think that the children of Israel are in the Middle East; yet those people are not Masters. Moses, David, Zechariah, Ezekiel, those are children of Israel; but fornicators? People who fornicate like beasts? They are not children of Israel.

We have to understand by using our understanding, our comprehension in Daath, Dagaz. This is why ancient Pharaohs were children of Israel, because as Moses they were Masters, Self-realized Masters. When we become a child of Israel then we have to travel the entire wilderness for 40 years, in order to enter into the Holy Land, which is an alchemical transformation. So, for that we have to incarnate the Word in the heart (Tiphereth, Israel), and that is the mystery of Dagaz. It is stated:

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." - Revelation, 1:7-11

So, the clouds symbolize the mystery that is hidden when you read. Those clouds are the letters within which the Word, the wisdom is hidden. That is why the Logos, which is the Word, the Lord said:

"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, said the Lord [the Logos, the Word], which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty [El-Shaddai in Yesod]." - Revelation 1:8

In those former verses and within you alone are hidden many great things. The Lord, the Logos has to come to you. When you realize that, the Alpha and the Omega (the throat and genitalia) are related to the Pentagram, which is the Word made flesh.

pentagram

"I Johannes, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the Word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. [See? For the Word of God]. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day [Dagaz, that is the Day of the Lord]." - Revelation 1: 9, 10

When it says in the Lord's Day, it means in the cycle. In which spot of the cycle are we in? When we are starting this Path, we are not in Tiphereth; we are in Malkuth just as beginners. So as beginners we have to prepare ourselves in order for the Word to incarnate in us. Yet, the Word is related with Johannes, with John - I-E-O-U-A-M-S, which relates to the seven churches.

"And I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet [the Logos], saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and what thou seest, write in a book [that book is us. That book is ourselves] and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia [Assiah, the world of matter, the physical body, the world of action, which is in the spinal column]. Unto Ephesus [the Chakra Muladhara], and unto Smyrna [the Chakra Swadhistana], and unto Pergamos [the Chakra Manipura], and unto Thyatira [the Chakra Anahata], and unto Sardis [the Chakra Vishuddha], and unto Philadelphia [the Chakra Ajna] and unto Laodicea [the Chakra Sahasrara]." - Revelation 1:10-11

The seven churches are the seven magnetic centers that vibrate in Assiah, Malkuth with the seven vowels: I-E-O-U-A-M-S. So, that is Johannan. In other words, in this very moment, we become disciples of the Lord, the Logos. We have to put into activity the seven vowels, in order for the Lord, the Logos to come into us, to prepare the Temple for the Lord, for the Word. That is why we have to learn how to vocalize. That is why the Master Samael Aun Weor gave us many mantras, in order for us to vocalize, to put into activity the Chakras related with the seven vowels that we may awaken. This is in order for the essence to see, in order to study the meaning of the Word, because the eye in the tongue of Tonatiuh means clairvoyance. Yet, that clairvoyance has to be united with clairaudience, with telepathy, with intuition, etc.

fish manWhen you read any book of the Bible, or any sacred book, you have to use your seven chakras, because this is the Word. Johannan has to understand that. Remember that the two N's of Johannes or Johannan, are the two Nun's (sperm and Ovum). Nun means fish in Aramaic. If we observe the tongue of Tonatiuh, it has the shape of a fish. Fish in Hebrew is pronounced Dag. Yes, DAG is how you say fish in Hebrew, Dag, Dagaz. They have the same root.

When we talk about Johannes or Oannes we also remember (יוחנן) Johannan, with two Nuns, two Dags. There are many Dags, fish mentioned in the Bible. In the Old Testament they talk about Dagon, the man fish worshipped by the Philistines; Dagon, the sexual force of the fish, (און דג) Dag Aun. Many people say that Dagon is evil, that John, Johannes is evil because of the fish...

Listen, Jesus is also represented by Ictus, by the fish, because he is the Word, the same tongue that comes from your mouth, which has the shape of a fish, the Dag, Dagger, Dagaz, Ictus, Dagon, Oannes, Johannes, the Word. Yet, all depends on if you are a Philistine, a fornicator, if you are using the power of Dagon through your sex and throat in the wrong way since you are worshipping Delilah, the night.

Woe unto you Samson of Kabbalah if you allow Delilah's Dag-Dagon to seduce you in the garden of delights, because you will then toss your real Fish, which is Ictus, the Lord, your own Dag-on, which means the strength of your fish (sperm) through fornication. This is the symbol of Samson and Delilah and Dagon. Dag is fish, and when you are working with the Word, you have to work with Dag, with Ictus, with the Nun of Johannan, which in Hebrew has two Nuns at the end.

iohanan

The two Nuns of Johannan are the sperm and ovum, which are the support of Chet (Ida and Pingala) and the Word I-O. You see?

We talked about the letter ח Chet.... Chhhhhh, in English, the sound of Chet is guttural. This is very important, because when we see the CH as a mantra, do not pronounce the Mantra as CH (as in CHat, the normal pronunciation in English) because CH comes from the Hebrew language, which is the letter Chet. So, Chet has a guttural sound, not cha (as in chat). Sometimes, we read mantras in our native language, but remember what Master Samael said:

The combination CH [letter Chet] is considerably abundant in Hebrew mantras; it has an immense magical power. - Samael Aun Weor, Logos Mantra Theurgy

So, remember, Chet never makes the "CH" sound as in "chewy" because in Hebrew CH does not sound between your teeth, but in your throat since it is a guttural sound. Thus, Chet is pronounced with the throat.

In Sanskrit, JIVAH [pronounced "Hivah"] is Breath of life. In Hebrew, LIFE is [חי] CHAI. Now, in Hebrew the sound difference between the H and the CH is almost slightly; and although the loss of the H sound is a degeneration operated in Spanish and French, however the acquisition of the sound CH is a step ahead, because - in mantric sense - its action spiritualizes the matter. In ancient Chinese, BREATH, divine blow, is CHI, whose sound word makes us remember ICH in German. (Huiracocha).

So, behold that when you pronounce the CH mantra you are pronouncing it as a strong H sound, which is very common not only in Hebrew, but also in German languages. In Spanish or English, that sound is not very common as in other languages; in Asia they pronounce that guttural CH very strongly. So, the name Johhhhhaaaaanann, is written with the Chet of (חי) life.

"And Yod-Havah Elohim formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and [with his throat] breathed into his nostrils the breath of [חי] life; and Adam became a [החי] living soul." - Genesis 2:7

Remember that the throat of God gives life. Thus, when the guttural sound is not pronounced in a strong manner, then it is not Chet, but Hei, which is like a sigh. For instance, "How are you?" is written with the H, which is pronounced in a very soft way, like a soft breath, a sigh. So, both letters, as we have said in a previous lecture, have similar sounds, the Hei is guttural but like a sigh (Hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaa), but Chet is a very strong guttural sound as in (חוה) Chhhhavah, Eve, which means the Mother of the (חי) Living.

For instance, let us look at another similitude; (חית) Chet, Iod, Tav are the letters that spell Chet in Hebrew. Yet, if you take out modern dots - because in the ancient Hebrew you did not write with dot-symbols to indicate the sound of vowels - then you could read Chayot, which spells same: Chet, Iod and Tav. And what is Chayot? It means animals, sometimes creatures with life, which is Chaiah, Chayot. This is precisely the problem with translators. In ancient times, the Hebrew language did not show any dots or lines in order to indicate how to pronounce the vowels in those words. Thus, if we write Chet, they might think that we wrote the word Chayot, but we could also have been writing the letter Chet. So this is the problem when you read something in Hebrew. Therefore, take the word and then disclose it with the sound, and use your intuition, in order to see the Spirit that vivifies the letter, in order to understand what is it what this or that prophet said, because we can read the sounds of those words in the wrong way.

Asana of the Seven Vowels

Now, in order to work with the Logos, in order to do what we are teaching here, we have to activate the chakras. Hence, we have to vocalize every day, I-E-O-U-A-M-S, while doing the bodily positions of the Runic Alphabet.

Perform the shape of the rune IS with your body, and pronounce Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihhh, then perform the shape of the rune Ehe with your body and pronounce the sound Eeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh, (we have to concentrate the sound in the area that the vowel corresponds to in our body). The sound "Ih" resounds in the pituitary and pineal glands. This is why we have to raise our arms upward, in order to form a straight line and then pronounce Iiiiiiiiiiihhh.

When we pronounce the Eh sound, remember that Eihwaz is related with the throat. So we have to make the straight line, the transversal line of the rune Eihwaz with our arms, bending them at the elbow. The left is raised upwards, and the right is held downwards, that is the rune Ehe. When we pronounce Eeeeeeeeeeeehhh, we feel the vibration in the throat.

Then we form the Runic O with the rune Othila, which is the big O and concentrate in our heart; Ooooooooooooohhh.

Then we make the shape of the U, the rune Ur, with our body, both arms held downward in front of your legs while facing the ground; here we concentrate in our belly; Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Then we make the shape of the rune Ar with a straight body. We open our right leg, our arms are close to the body and we are concentrating in the middle of the lungs, the thymus gland, while pronouncing Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh. The sound of Nature, the forces of Nature will come to us and activate that Chakra, thanks to the shape of the rune that we make with our body.

Then, we raise our arms, like a supplication to Heaven, forming the letter Y with our body, which is the shape of the rune Man. Then we concentrate in our prostate or uterus and pronounce the sound of the letter M: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Then, we crouch down, on our tip toes, put the hands over the knees and in doing so, form the shape of the rune Sig with our body. If you were to look at your body, the spinal column makes one line, and then the femurs form the middle line and finally the calves form the last line of the rune Sig, the three lines of the rune Sig, and pronounce; Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. This rune makes the sexual force, from the coccyx, rise to the top. Thereafter, we stretch again to a straight position and with our arms upward we begin again with the rune IS and pronounce Iiiiiiiiiiihhh and so on and so forth...

These have to be rhythmic movements with the seven vowels. Let us see the following graphics in order to understand how to do it.

ieouams

First, perform the rune Dagaz; we cross our arms over our chest, and ask to our Inner Being, "My Father, my God, Mother of mine, Divine Goddess, help me to activate the seven vowels, so that Johannes, the Word of God will prepare my body for the advent of the Word, Jesus, in my heart."

Thereafter we begin the practice:

Pronounce "Iiiiiiiiihhh" while elevating your arms and forming a straight line. Then, you lower your arms, and form the letter E, the rune Ehwaz, pronouncing "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh". Then, form the shape of the rune Othila by opening our legs and place our arms above our head, with our hands together, and pronounce "Oooooooohhh". Then, we bend over forwards and form the shape of the rune Ur, and pronounce "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuu". Then, we stand back up, and open our right leg, forming the rune Ar, and pronounce "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh". Then, we raise our arms above our head, hands out, in supplication, and pronounce "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm". Finally, we crouch down and rest on our heels forming the rune Sig, and pronounce "Ssssssssssssssssss". We can continue doing all of this as many times as we want, while always finishing with the rune Dagaz by crossing our arms over our chest and giving thanks to our Inner God. We do this because He is the one that attracts the forces and puts them into activity in our chakras.

We advise you to do the complete round of I-E-O-U-A-M-S seven times. After you have finished the Sssss, and want to continue, then straighten your arms again, and pronounce the Iiiiiiiiiiihhh, etc. Perform the seven vowels as we said, do them in that way, by forming the shape of the letters of the runes with your body, everyday, seven times. If you want to do it fourteen times, that is good too.

Remember that you are attracting the forces of Nature into your body. The solar forces are in Nature and in your body, in your Divine Mother Kundalini. In the man, the Divine Mother Kundalini is represented by his wife. Master Samael stated:

"Women, listen to me: Shakti must be lived regally during intercourse as Maya-Shakti (Woman-Eve-Goddess). Only in this way can you be successful in the consubstantiation of love in the psycho-physiological reality of your nature. The Gnostic man must personify Shiva (The Holy Spirit) during the Sahaja Maithuna (Sexual Magic) and feel flooded with this marvelous strength from the Third Logos." - The Mystery of the Golden Blossom

Christianity talks about the three Marys: Mary in the Cosmos, Mary in Nature and Mary in your own body. These are the three Marys.

Yet, the Mary in your own body relates with the Divine Mother; but when we are addressing males, Mary relates to their spouse, as Mary Magdalene to Jesus. For instance, let us read the Gospel of John:

"Now, there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother [Kundalini.] [What is the cross of Jesus? Dagaz is the cross of Jesus, no matter where you place it; whether in your Yesod, your sexual organs, whether in your heart, or your throat. That is the cross of Jesus, the two polarities, the two wills. So, at the foot of the Cross is Mary, always, the Divine Mother, the sexual force, the feminine aspect of the Holy Spirit] and His mother's sister, Mary Mother [Nature], the wife of Cleophas [which means 'Vision of Glory'. When you start annihilating your ego, then you enter into greater contact with your Mother, and you start having experiences with Mother Nature. Mother Nature is a Being that exists in the 4th Dimension, a force, an intelligence. Mother Nature is being destroyed by the inhabitants of the Earth in this day and age, but the Initiate, the Gnostic, worships Mother Nature, that is the sister of Mary, the Mother Kundalini of us]. And Mary Magdalene [the other Mary is His wife].

"When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple, [which is the Bodhisattva Johannes, the Word], standing by whom he loved, he said unto his mother, Woman, behold thy Son! [The Word is that Son. The woman is the throat, mother in my throat, Daath. Behold thy Son, the Word, is already purified, because I am dying on the cross. In thanks that I am dying on the cross, he the Human Soul, Tiphereth, is being purified. Now, he has no ego, he is completely dead]. Then he says to his disciple, behold thy mother, and from that hour, [that initiation], the disciple took her into his own home, [his own house, his own temple, his own body]." - John 19:26, 27

So, the Gospel of John is the gospel of Johannes. Johannes is the Son of Man, which is the union of Jesus and John. John is the Human Soul, Tiphereth. So, when Jesus said to the Human Soul, "Behold thy Mother" he meant: "now that you have no ego" (because the Inner Jesus annihilated the causes of that ego, in the Causal World). "Now behold thy Mother" - this means that now Johannes (the Human Soul) really has become a child of the Divine Mother, no matter whether in Nature, individually, or in the Cosmos.

Those are the three Marys. Jesus achieved that thanks to Mary Magdalene, the two M's. That is the mystery of M.M., Mary Magdalene, the Mystery among the Masons which none of them know about. Though they have their Mary Magdalene, they fornicate with her. We must transmute and transform Mary Magdalene into a Holy creature. That is the way. So, thanks to Mary Magdalene, the Divine Mother is now with Johannes, the Son of Man, perfect. Such is the meaning of that verse, which we read in Chapter 19.

This is why when Master Jesus resurrects, that disciple is there behind when Jesus is walking with Peter. This has another symbol:

When they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?"

"Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you."

Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."

Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"

He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you."

Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."

The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"

Peter was grieved because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you."

Jesus said, "Feed my sheep [Take care of the Souls of my people, teach them]. Verily, verily I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go." Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, "Follow me!"

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. [This was Johannan, who leaned on the breast of Jesus at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is going to betray you?" When Peter saw him, he asked, "Lord, what about him?"

Jesus answered, "If I want him to tarry until I come, what is that to you? You must follow me." - John 21: 15-22

This means that in the beginning, the Initiate has to work with Peter. Peter shows us the way, which is the transmutation of the sexual force. When Peter asked: "Lord, what about him?" Behind them was Johannes, Johannan, John. Master Jesus said, "If I want that he waits for me until I come, what is that to you? You must follow me." That is like saying: "you have to work very hard first to be born again, and if you reach Mastery, Johannan is waiting for me, the Word."

So, what does this mean for you? "You just keep working with the three factors and when you reach the level of Tiphereth, then I, the Logos will incarnate in the Human Soul, and we will come with you in the pineal gland." That is the meaning of it.

Questions and Answers

Audience: If the woman is on her cycle, can she perform the runes?

Instructor: It is better if she does not, because when you are performing these runic movements, you are transmuting the forces of Nature in your body. The body of a woman in her lunar cycle is rejecting the toxins, she is rejecting the negative forces during her cycle. This is in order to cleanse herself. That is precisely the body of a woman, it goes with nature. So, if a woman does the runes, then in essence she is transmuting the toxins that she is naturally releasing, thus absorbing them again, which is not good. The best thing a woman can do is to vocalize the vowels mentally, and be quiet, in order for the Lord to activate those Chakras from above to below. Those forces will also help to reject the toxins and everything else that the woman is rejecting when menstruating. Otherwise, if she does it in the other way she will take the forces of Nature into her body and by raising them, they will mix with the toxins that she is releasing during menstruation; this is not good. So, my advice is to vocalize mentally, or meditate, during that period.

Audience: Which leg is going to the side for the runic posture corresponding to the vowel A?

Instructor: To the Right. The right side is always the one that opens in that Runic posture.

Audience: Where online, or what book, can we find illustrations showing all the positions for I-E-O-U-A-M-S?

Instructor: There is no book. The Master Samael wrote about certain runes, not all of them. About Dagaz, he just mentions it, but without saying Dagaz, but it is obvious the he knew about the mystery of Dagaz, which is the mystery of the cycle, which is written in many books: "In the evening and the morning was the first day, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the cycle of life and death." That is the cycle of Dagaz, the beginning and ending of any Initiation. Of course, he talked about that in all of his books, without saying this is related to Dagaz, specifically, overtly. But, now that we are teaching about the runes, we are teaching that this is related with Dagaz, because the simple symbol of Dagaz is precisely the closing of our arms over our chest. That is the simple symbol which is to do the will of God, to die in the Lord.

This is why, when we were observing certain Gnostics who do not begin or end the microcosmic star by crossing their arms on their heart, and nonetheless they teach about psychological death, we ask ourselves, how can this be? That is, how can they teach such a wrong thing, and talk about "to die in the Lord"? Indeed, they are not teaching the real death, according to the Lord. And this is because they ignore the Lord. By teaching this is how we have to understand.

So, we made a motion graphic related with the seven vowels in order to illustrate it to you. I learned this when I was with the Master Samael Aun Weor, in Mexico; I learned this in Mexico. I am teaching it now, and of course I never found anything written about it. Yet, there are many things that the Master Samael taught which are not written. But, since we are in the time of the end, and you need this, I am teaching you. So practice it in order to activate that so that you may take advantage of it. The Master Samael advises the vocalization of the seven vowels in many of his books.

Audience: What is the best time to do the runes?

Instructor: The best time to do the runes is in the morning, when the body is rested. In the morning, you find plenty forces of Nature, the solar light that the Sun left in Nature. So, if you take advantage of that moment, and do the runes, then you take all that energy into your Vital Body. Remember that Dagaz, Daath, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is related with the seven vowels that you have to activate, the seven churches of Asia.

Audience: You mentioned Yew as the Tree of Good and Evil. Do you think it is a coincidence that the Yew is the wood used to make bows and arrows that can hunt for food or make war? The bow and arrow as phallus is very much an analogy for fornication, is it not?

Instructor: No, it is not a coincidence because the Yew tree encloses many symbols. Remember that the two branches of the Yew tree are the vertical and horizontal which form the cross. So, if we say that Jesus, the Christ died on the cross of two Yew branches that is precisely the meaning: the Tree of Good and Evil, because the tree is the man and the woman, Dagaz. But, we have to go beyond the woman and the man, we have to go beyond Good and Evil, like the Gods, and by that we have to die on the cross of the Yew tree, the two branches of the yew tree. This is how we state it symbolically. The Tree of Good and Evil is the cross in which the Lord works, performing all His miracles within the human being.

Audience: Can you explain more about the symbol of the whip that the mummy has...

Instructor: Oh, the hook? You mean also the scepter of the pharaoh? In the image of the pharaoh, you see the scepter in the left hand, and the whip in the right. Well, those are the two symbols. The Initiate has to work with the two wills; the whip and the scepter; the right and the left, the two forces. The whip is more usually used as a symbol of willpower, but it is also the case of the scepter, it is the benevolent willpower. The whip is the one that executes justice, karma.

So, this is how you have to work with the two forces of Dagaz, always, the duality. Of course, above the head of the pharaoh you also see the duality; the serpent Hadit that works with the vulture of death, in order to achieve the Self-Realization of the Being.

Audience: Is she Mother Mary the Pistis Sophia?

Instructor: Well, Pistis Sophia is united with the Divine Mother, since, Pistis is power, Pistis is intellect, intelligence, the Holy Spirit, the power of the Fire. Sophia is wisdom, which is Chokmah, the Christ. Pistis Sophia cannot be Pistis Sophia without the Divine Mother Kundalini. Pistis Sophia has a Divine Mother Kundalini in seven serpents. Pistis Sophia is the Human Soul united with Sophia; it is Johannan and Jesus together.

But remember: do not forget that the Gospel of Luke, the Gospel of the Earth states, first is the birth of Johannan the Baptist, and then the birth of Jesus after six months. This is very significant. First, work with Johannan. When you reach Tiphereth, then at that level, Jesus comes six months after into Malkuth. The mystery of the six is the mystery of the sixth Arcanum.

Let us pronounce with our tongue; Amen, Aum.
