Today we are going to explain Abraham in the light of Kabbalah and Alchemy.

We always address Abraham as the Innermost, the sephirah Chesed, which is the seventh sephirah when counting the sephiroth from Malkuth to Kether.

Abraham is considered the foundation of three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. All of them claim that Abraham is at the very foundation of their religion. Kabbalistically and alchemically we understand why Abraham is their forefather, but we do not know if all of the followers of these three monotheistic religions understand this. So we are going to explain who Abraham is, but from the archetypical point of view. We are also going to touch a bit of the history of this great patriarch, prophet, or avatar whose life is described in the book of Genesis.

The name Abraham means "father of many,” and this is why the three monotheistic religions are attributed to him.

Based on this, we are going to address monotheism and its opposite, polytheism. These are Greek words. Poly- means “many” (remember that Abraham in Hebrew means “father of many”), and theos is “god,” so polytheism refers to “many gods.” There are many religions related with polytheism.

The Greek word monotheism (mono-, “one”) indicates one god. Mono is related to Monad, our Innermost Being. In Gnosis, we always talk about the Monad.

The word atheism is also from Greek, and relates to Abraham, because most of atheists in this day and age reject and fight against Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, whose forefather is Abraham. The word “theos” means “god,” thus, the word atheist exists only because theos exists. The Greek word atheos means “without a god,” abandoned of god; godless, ungodly," from a - "without" + theos “a god.” And generally, atheists usually are just angry at the religion of their upbringing, so from this point of view we can say that atheism is rooted in monotheism.

Samael Aun Weor explains in his book The Revolution of Dialectic:

“Monotheism always leads to anthropomorphism (idolatry) which by reaction originates materialistic atheism. This is why we prefer polytheism.

“We are not afraid to talk about the intelligent principles of the mechanical phenomena of nature, even if people classify us as pagans.

“We are partisans of a modern polytheism founded on Psychotronics.

“In final synthesis, monotheistic doctrines lead to idolatry. It is preferable to talk about the Intelligent Principles, which never leads to materialism.

“In turn, the abuse of polytheism, by reaction, leads to monotheism.

“Modern monotheism emerged from the abuse of polytheism.

“In this era of Aquarius, in this new phase of the revolution of the dialectic, polytheism must be psychologically and transcendentally sketched out. Besides, it must be put forward intelligently; we must set forth wisely with a vital and integral monistic polytheism.

“Monistic polytheism is the synthesis of polytheism and monotheism. Diversity is unity.”

Indeed, in this day and age, monotheistic people believe in one God, and they think that their God is an old man in the clouds, throwing lighting and thunder against this anthill-like humanity — an absurd belief that has spawned many atheists. In fact, in reality, on this point the atheists are right: that sort of God does not exist.

The Bible does not say there is one God. In fact, the Bible begins by describing many gods. The Bible begins with these three words:

“Bereshit bara Elohim…”

The Hebrew word “Elohim” is a plural world that means “gods and goddesses.”

The rest of the chapter continues with Elohim doing everything, with the gods even saying, “Let us make Adam in OUR image.”

So, when in the Book of Genesis, the very root of the Bible, we read “Elohim,” understand that this Hebrew word is addressing polytheism.

The monotheistic people that believe only in one God do not like to hear that Elohim means “gods and goddesses,” because they do not understand how Elohim emerges from Aelohim, the single Seity, the Absolute, which is at the base of both polytheism and monotheism.

Aelohim, the only one Seity, is not in the universe, does not exist in the universe, as Samael Aun Weor stated:

“The Great Invisible is the Cosmic Common Eternal Father, the Infinitude that sustains all, the Omnimerciful.

“Elohim emerges from the Great Invisible. Elohim is the Army of the Voice. Elohim is the Creator-Verb. Elohim is interpreted as a manifested God who emerges from within the womb of Aelohim in order to create and create anew.

“Elohim is a feminine name with a plural masculine ending. Therefore, Elohim means Gods and Goddesses. A Religion without Goddesses is found halfway upon the path of Atheism, because Elohim is Gods and Goddesses.

“The name of the Great Invisible is Aelohim. Let it be known, now and forever, that Aelohim is the Unknowable and Unmanifested Divinity. The Great Invisible is the Abstract Absolute Space.”

Space itself is what we call a Seity, an intelligence that is everywhere. So, we, the Gnostics, study “monistic polytheism.” From this point of view, we understand polytheism and monotheism. This is basic in order for us to understand who Abraham is.

The Bible states:

“And Elohim saw that the wickedness of Adam was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented יהוה that he had made Adam on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And יהוה said, I will destroy Adam whom I have created from the face of the earth; both Adam, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of יהוה. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” - Genesis 6: 5-10

The Zohar states:

“Noah symbolized humanity beginning its earth career and for this reason is said to be (איש האדמה 'aysh ha-adamah,' one of the Ayshim of Yetzirah in Malkuth) the earthly man (Genesis 9: 20). The biblical account of Noah and the deluge contains a deep mystery that explains why it was necessary that Noah should enter the ark. It was in order to keep seed (human race) alive upon the face of all the earth (Genesis 7: 3). If so, of what then was the ark a symbol? The ark of the covenant (the good law) by which celestial or Adamic humanity was kept and preserved and without which it could not have entered upon its mundane career of existence and progression; that is, without the continuance of the good law in the world, the higher self could not have operated in the progressive development of the lower self, which therefore would have perished and reverted back to its pre-evolutionary or elemental state. Ere present humanity began evoluting on the earth, the Holy One entered into a covenant with the Higher Self, as it is written, 'But with thee I will establish my covenant and thou shalt come into the ark' (Genesis 7: 8). Scripture states that Noah was a just man (Genesis 6: 9) because a type of the ideal man Adam Kadmon, who is described as 'the righteous or just,' and also the foundation of the world (Proverbs 10: 25). Both alike have the same appellation of 'just,' the one in the celestial world, the other in the terrestrial world. This occult mystery is contained in the words 'Noah walked with Elohim' (Genesis 6: 8); that is to say, that Noah and Elohim were never disjoined or separated, one being the reflection of the other on the earth plane, and therefore it is written, 'Noah found grace in the eyes of (השם Ha-Shem) יהוה' (Genesis 6: 8).” - Zohar

Thus, after the universal flood that destroyed the Atlantean civilization came the generations of Noah.

Shem, Ham, and Japheth are Alchemically and Kabbalistically associated with three solar bodies (astral, mental and causal), which we have to create. Yet, Alchemically and Kabbalistically speaking, Shem, Ham and Japheth are represented in many other ways. In other lectures we stated that these three children of Noah also represent the last three sub-races of the Atlantean civilization, that were the root of our present Aryan root race, after Noah and his sons came out of the Ark.

We, Gnostics, understand that the Ark of Noah symbolizes the doctrine that we are teaching here. In the Atlantean epoch, everybody that entered into the Ark — meaning into the mystery of this Arcanum — were, of course, practicing the Arcanum A.Z.F. (sexual transmutation). As an outcome of that, all of those initiates that were emerging from this doctrine were creating Shem, Ham and Japheth within themselves, because they were following their own particular Nous or Noah.

Noah and his sons were the only ones saved from the universal flood; comprehend that we are not pointing at four people and their wives and their animals. We gave a lecture related with this; we state in it that after the universal flood, when they came out of the Ark – meaning when they were already spiritually born, alchemically speaking, they came out of the matrix, came out of the womb of the Divine Mother, then these initiates followed what the bible says:

“And Elohim blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.” - Genesis 9: 1-3

This is how the Golden Age of our present Aryan root race started. We also read in the Book of Genesis:

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And יהוה came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of Adam builded. And יהוה said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So יהוה scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because יהוה did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did יהוה scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” - Genesis 11: 1-9

We find here the difference between the generation of Adam and the generation of Noah. The generation of Adam were those people who were disobedient to the law given unto them on that Lemurian continent situated in the Pacific ocean, as disobedient as they were of the law of the Arcanum, they were trying to enter into heaven, into the mysteries of the Tree of Life through false doors, and they were the ones that built the Tower of Babel [where their tongues were confounded], and among them were the children of Noah that were, of course, following the right law as the book of Genesis explains it. So, of course, as the Golden Age developed in our present Aryan root race, the light of that age diminished, as people were appearing that were not following the rules of the arcana (the mysteries of heaven).

Thereafter, it is stated in the book of Genesis 11:10: “These are the generations of Shem,” which are the Semites, the generations of one of sons of Noah, which is another yuga. Behold, one thing is:

“These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man (an Aysh Tzadik איש צדיק or 'Aysh ha-adamah,' איש האדמה, that is, one of the Ayshim of Yetzirah in Malkuth), and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with Elohim. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” - Genesis 6: 9

And another is:

“Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.” - Genesis 10:1

For instance, in this day and age, we who receive the doctrine from Samael Aun Weor, and who have the doctrine still pure in the books – we, who are following the instructions of the Master Avatar Samael Aun Weor, are the generations of Samael. So anyone who emerges with astral, mental and causal solar bodies within is, indeed, a son of Samael, through his doctrine; so, we will say that there will be “the generations of Samael.”  Sequentially, after that generation of Noah, come with time the generation of the sons of Noah and the people who adulterate the doctrine of Noah; thus, Genesis states:

“Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.” - Genesis 10: 1

Likewise, in this day and age, we are the generations or children of Samael; but later on, our generations, that is, the outcome of our doctrine, of our teachings, will appear, which obviously, because of the ego, will degenerate.

Among the post-diluvian people or the ones who emerged from the Ark of Noah, there were, of course, different branches related with these three sons of Noah, which if we relate them to the three brains in our human body, we will understand them better: we could associate, Netzach, the mind, with Ham; Hod, the heart, with Shem; and Yesod, instinctual-sexual energy, with Japheth, because in Yesod we find the sexual potency which is always associated with willpower in relation with Tiphereth, which is the causal body.

The generations of Shem kept the doctrine pure. Shem is the root of the Aryan race, as we explained in other lecture that the Shemites where the ones who founded our present Aryan root race. Shem is the first son of Noah. The organization of the Semites started in Atlantis and developed until the origin of our root race, which is called the Aryan race, or the race of the Gentiles. We read in the Bible:

“These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.” - Genesis 11: 10, 11

Thus, sequentially among the lineage of Shem, at the very bottom, of the eleventh chapter of Genesis, we find Abraham.

Abraham comes from the root of Shem, שם which means “name” (שם Shem is always associated with יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei). In the chapter 12 of Genesis we read:

“Now (השם Ha-Shem) יהוה had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto (הארץ Ha-Aretz) the land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” - Genesis 12:1-3

That is the beginning of Judaism.

When Abraham received that command from יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei [as you can see in the right of the graphic], in relation to the Tree of Life, you find that it is related to the whole Tree of Life. We cannot fall into the mistake of thinking that this Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei or Iod-Havah is an individual, we must not give to יהוה  an anthropomorphic form, because then we fall into idolatry. People think that to be an idolater is to worship a statue or matter; no, idolatry relates also to those people who think that Elohim is a person there in the clouds or outer space; those people make Elohim a puppet. Elohim means gods and goddesses; so, therefore, “(השם Ha-Shem) יהוה who said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto (הארץ Ha-Aretz) the land that I will show thee,” is something that we have to study right now, in order for us to comprehend.

Abraham represents Chesed, the fourth sephirah counting the sephiroth from the top, namely, Kether, Chokmah, Binah, Chesed – the fourth, is the first emanation of the Holy Tri-unity or Trinity that we call Kether, Chokmah, Binah (Father, Son and Holy Spirit; these are three forces: Holy Affirming, Holy Negation and Holy Conciliation). These three primary forces emerged from the Unknowable Divine. In many lectures, we stated that the Ain Soph is precisely the unmanifested Seity, a womb, a matrix from where the entire universe emerged, and it is always symbolized by the letter Hei. That is why when we name the name of the only God, we say (השם Ha-Shem): this only God is formed by two unities – the first unity is represented by the Tri-unity or Trinity that we call Kether, Chokmah, Binah; and that are represented by the three primary letters of the holy name of God: Iod, Hei, Vav; in Gnosticism, we call it I.A.O.; this I.A.O. emerged from the Hei which is the Unknowable Divine – that is what we call the Ain Soph.  Master Samael explains that the Absolute has three different aspects. We see them on the top of the Tree of Life.

Tree of Life 2.0 plain

The three aspects of the Absolute are the Ain Soph Aur, the Ain Soph and the Ain. The Absolute is the Unknowable; thus, the first manifestation of the Unknowable is what we call the Spiritual Absolute Sun or Ain Soph Aur, which is above Kether, the first light or sephirah that manifests in the universe; this is precisely what we have to understand about the unique and only God.

In Arabic, accordance to kabbalistic understanding, the name of that unique and only God is Allah. When spelling Allah, kabbalistically, we see Aleph, Lamed, Lamed, Aleph or Hei – which, represents the Ain Soph. This is a beautiful way to synthesize what we stated, because (אל) El (in Hebrew as well as in Arabic) is God, but (לא) La is precisely “no” (in Hebrew and Arabic); when we have to say “no”, in Hebrew or Arabic, we say (“la” לא). So, when we say El-lah (אל-לא), in Kabbalah means “no God”; and when kabbalistically we say that Allah (אללה) the “no God” is the only God, we then kabbalistically understand that (אל) “El” is associated with (לא) La, the Absolute Abstract Space that in kabbalah is called Ain (which means “nothing”). Comprehend, Allah (אללה) is not a person, as many people misunderstand, but a Seity, which permeates the Absolute Abstract Space, and not only in our solar system, but everywhere in the universe. All galaxies are floating in Allah (אללה) – so, this is how we kabbalistically understand Allah (אללה).

Master Samael kabbalistically call the Seity of the Absolute Abstract Space: AElohim. The Absolute Abstract Space is also called Tat, Sat, Omeyocan, and many other names.

Thus, this is the fact that we see kabbalistically, when we read that “(השם Ha-Shem) יהוה said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto (הארץ Ha-Aretz) the land that I will show thee.”  Where is (הארץ Ha-Aretz) the land that I will show thee? If we read it literally and if we do not know how to interpret kabbalistically and alchemically what we are reading in Genesis, we might think, “Since it is written the land of Canaan, and Canaan is in the Middle East, that land is therefore where Israel is settled in this present time.” Then, we are kabbalistically missing something that we have to comprehend and understand; Canaan in Kabbalah and Alchemy relates to (הארץ Ha-aretz) Malkuth; thus, it refers to the descent of Abraham (which is Chesed) into (הארץ Ha-Aretz) Malkuth, our physicality, in order to start performing the great alchemical work.

All of us who come here to read and listening these lectures and who believe in different religions, whether Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism or Taoism, it does not matter which one, come here because we hear inside of us, or because we felt that we have to find something in order to start our path, our journey to our own particular God. For that, [only Abraham, not anyone else] (kabbalisticaly speaking), only Abraham can do that for us. But this Abraham is inside, it is not outside. People think of Abraham like this prophet whose name was Abraham and that he came to represent that archetype that all of us have here, inside, and that in Hebrew is called Abraham. But in that polytheistic religion called Hinduism, they call it Brahma. You see how equal is that? Just take the “a” from Brahma and put it in the beginning and then you will read “Abraham”. In the beginning was the Word, just different ways of saying things.

So this Brahma or Abraham is inside of us, it is not outside; and when we read in the Bible that Abraham received the command from (השם Ha-Shem) יהוה saying: Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto (הארץ Ha-Aretz) the land that I will show thee” understand also that (הארץ Ha-Aretz) is the “promised land.” The “promised land” is in Yesod, the superior aspect of Malkuth, our physicality, our physical body. But we have to understand that Malkuth, our physical body, cannot exist without its foundation, without the tetradimensional part of it – and that is the vital body, that in Kabbalah is called Yesod. So, Yesod and Malkuth are one. So, the descent of the Spirit into Canaan is the descent of the Spirit into our physical body, which is cursed because of fornication; the Spirit descends in order to work in Yesod, it descends in order to enter into the promised land, which is Yesod, so that the three sons of Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth can be created.

“These three souls, or rather natures, manifest themselves in their differing modes and direction, the Higher Self attaching itself and approximating towards its superior principle produces three offspring, symbolized by Noah's sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, who came forth from the ark; Shem corresponding to the principle on the right of the Sephirotic tree, Ham to that on the left, whilst Japhet is the medium of connection that like the color of purple is a combination and a reflection of the other two. Ham was the father of Canaan. Genesis 9:18 He symbolizes the lower (mind) or animal nature of man susceptive of all material and gross influences that trend to the excitation of animal instincts, desires and passions. He was also the father of him who caused the world along with himself to be cursed and the human face to become blanched and pale through sorrow and suffering; therefore it is not stated of Shem or Japheth that they were the father of this or that one. This is also wherefore it is written, 'And Abram passed through the land (of Canaan),' (Genesis 12: 6) neither abode in it because the patriarchs through their merits and works had not purified it, neither had Israel made known the sacred name so that it was still suffering under the primal curse pronounced upon the earth and the serpent, 'Cursed he the ground [Malkuth] because of thee, cursed art thou above all the beasts of the field.'Genesis 3:14, 3:17 And of the land of Canaan it is written, cursed is Canaan, a servant of servants, shall he be unto his brothers. Furthermore we read, 'These are the three sons of Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth, and of them was the whole earth overspread' (Genesis 9: 19).” - Zohar

It is written in Genesis 9: 20:

“When Noah came out of the Ark he began to be a husbandman and he planted a vineyard.”

About this the Zohar states:

“When Noah, desirous of investigating into the cause of Adam's fall from his primal state of holy innocence. Not with the intention of imitating it but of healing the sin of the world, he soon realized his inability to achieve his object. He then pressed the juice of the vine in order to ascertain the natural properties of it, or in other words, he (his mind, Ham) speculated deeply upon the nature of the Divine Being. His intellectual faculties soon became exhausted and he was as one puzzled and drunken with thought, and therefore we read 'He drank of the wine and was drunken and lay uncovered in his tent' (Genesis 9: 21), that is, on lifting only a corner of the veil that hides divine mysteries from human gaze and catching a glimpse of what is never revealed and imparted save only to the enlightened and pure in heart, he (his mind, Ham) became mentally stupefied, confused and overwhelmed with the sublimity and grandeur of the noumenal world so transcendently beyond all human cognition and comprehension.

(…..)

“This then was the kind of drunkenness indulged in by Noah as stated and he drank of the wine and was drunken and he was 'uncovered in his tent.' This fatuous act of spiritual inebriation enabled his (mind or) son Ham, the father of Canaan (the physical offspring of fornication), to acquire certain esoteric knowledge and occult powers as we have before explained, that endowed and invested him (the mind) with a potency to exercise sway and domination over others, for knowing that Noah was a just and perfect man and that his holiness arose from his chastity, he (his mind, Ham saw his nakedness and) wickedly deprived him as tradition informs us of his virile power (chastity) by the infliction of eunuchism. Through this heinous indignity committed upon him it was that Noah said, 'Cursed be Canaan, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren,' as aforetime it had been said to the serpent, 'Cursed art thou above all the beasts of the field.' Eventually at the end of the ages, the erring, the sinful and guilty (fornicators) will be saved and become children of the light, but not Canaan (our physicality) whose irreversible doom is absolute and certain perdition and final extinction a fact not unknown to those initiated in the teachings of the secret doctrine.”  - Zohar

So, Noah’s type of drunkenness relates to the spiritual level in which many initiates are – and who see many things in their inebriation that they could not understand; so, their mind (Ham) became astound and sees the nakedness of their father. This does not mean physical nakedness, no. There are many statements that can be read in the Bible about nakedness related with ignorance, when the capacity that you have in yourself in order to understand what God is, is not enough; you realize that you need to dress yourself more with more wisdom, and Ham (which is the mind) is the one that realizes that. Why the other two boys of Noah did not see his nakedness? Noah did not blame Ham, but he says: “cursed be Canaan”. What is Canaan? Canaan is not here, is going to be the son of Ham. When you descend you come to Malkuth again in order to acquire more degrees of objective reasoning, in order to comprehend what you did not comprehend. So, Canaan, indeed, is the fallen sephirah Malkuth. And as you know that we, physically, are cursed, because when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden fruit the ground became cursed; as it is written:

“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” - Genesis 3: 17-19

Malkuth is the outcome of the left side of the Tree of Life. You might say: “well, but Ham is the mind” and it is because, accordance to Kabbalah, also Shem represents the right side, the positive side of the Tree of Life; Ham represents the left side. I am not talking about a particular sephirah here, only the column, the pillars; and the central pillar represents Japheth.

When you create your astral body, thanks to the right side (Shem) it crystalizes in the astral body, which is Hod, and fortifies the left column. When we make the left column, the mind (Ham), solar, it goes into the right, which is Netzach, in order to receive the strength of the right. This is how, alchemically, you see it, how this pillars of the Tree of Life work, in relation with the book of Genesis.

When you study Kabbalah and Alchemy, you understand that Chokmah, which is the Christ, reflects in Hod; and Iod-Havah Elohim, Binah, represents the mind on the right side – you see how they cross – just a hint, because we have to study very deeply the Tree of Life, in order to understand about Abraham. And Abraham is underneath Chokmah (which in Atziluth is called Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, in the Tree of Life).

The Bible states:

“And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.” - Genesis 11: 31

Abraham lived in the city of אור Aur. The Bible translators write “Ur,” but when we read the Hebrew letters we see: Aleph, Vav, Resh, which spells aur that means “light.” Abraham as an archetype lives in אור Aur / Ur “the light.”

Chasidim

In Hebrew this passage says: מאור כשדים

The translators interpreted this as “Ur of the Chaldees” meaning the Chaldeans. Yet the Hebrew word written in the Bible is כשדים chasidim. When we look in the dictionary about the meaning of כשדים chasidim, it states:

Chasidim כשדים means: demon, devil, fiend, goblin, gremlin, sprite, bogey, fantom, genie, ghost, ghoul, gnome, hobgoblin, incubus, kobold, mephistopheles, phantom, poltergeist, puck, shade, spirit, bogy, daredevil, etc. etc.

This is precisely why Simeon bar Yochai says in the Zohar:

“The command of 'Get thee out of thy country' may, therefore, be paraphrased thus, 'Get thee away hence for thine own future safety, that thou and thy family and kinsmen and companions may enjoy (אור Aur) the light divine.' Furthermore, it is said, ‘And now they do not see the bright light which is in the clouds: but the spirit passes, and cleanses them.’ (Job 37: 21.) What the esoteric meaning of these words is, may be illustrated from the great event in Abraham's life, namely, his departure from out of (מאור כשדים the light of the chasidim) his native land in which as long as he continued to live, but he was unable to attain to the light of the divine or higher life (Ain Soph Aur - אין סוף אור), that from amongst his countrymen (the כשדים chasidim) had been withdrawn and continued so, until the wind (better said, Spirit or Ruach Elohim) passed and dissipated the clouds (of the mind) that concealed and hid it, and resulted in Terah and his family eventually renouncing (Nirvana) idolatry (polytheism) and becoming monotheists.” - Zohar

What are the כשדים chasidim? When we investigate that alchemically, esoterically, we discover that the כשדים chasidim dwell in the superior dimensions, they relate to our Innermost; this is why it is written:

“Before the false dawn came on this earth, those who survive the hurricane and the storm, gave praise to the Innermost, and to them appear the heralds of the dawn.” - The Dayspring of Youth by Master Morya

The כשדים chasidim are related to what the Bible states:

“And when Abram was (99) ninety years old and nine, יהוה Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, (אני־אל שדי Ani El Shaddai) I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” - Genesis 17: 1

Abraham was worshiping כשדים chasidim; and not only Abraham, but also Isaac and Jacob. So, the three main patriarchs of Judaism worshiped אני־אל שדי Ani El Shaddai.

If we take the letters Kaph and Mem from the word כשדים chasidim, which is plural, we will be left the word שדי shaddai, which is singular. Shaddai means “demon, devil, fiend, goblin, gremlin, sprite, bogey, fantom, genie, ghost, ghoul, gnome, hobgoblin, incubus, kobold, mephistopheles, phantom, poltergeist, puck, shade, spirit, bogy, daredevil, Almighty (God).”

So, let us follow the sequence of what we are learning here. שדי Shaddai is written at the door of any orthodox jewish home; they kiss and touch שדי Shaddai every time that they go out or in. אל שדי El Shaddai is the guardian of the door (daleth ד). This is because the “door” (ד) is the sephirah Yesod, the sexual force, which is where the almighty power of Lucifer (the light bearer) is found.

We know that the almighty power of Lucifer is in Yesod, which is אל שדי El Shaddai, thus Yesod is where Abraham works. The holy name of God in Yesod in the world of Atziluth is El Shaddai. Thus, El Shaddai dwells in the sephirah Yesod, the promised land. Comprehend, this promised land is not physical, tridimensional, it is the fourth dimension which is related with Yesod. El Shaddai is translated in the Bible as “the almighty God,” but indeed, the meaning of that name is deeper.

El Shaddai is in Yesod, which is the promised land, the fourth dimension, whereas Canaan, which is the outcome of fornication, is cursed. Canaan is the sephirah Malkuth, the physical Earth and the physical body. The earth is cursed, and inhabited by demons – whether we are talking about the macrocosmic Earth, the physical planet we live on, or the microcosmic earth, the physical body we live in.

It is not an exaggeration to say that this planet is populated by demons. Some of those demons are very fanatical and believe that they are “the chosen ones,” and ignore the fact that they are demons. What is a demon? A creature filled with demonic qualities: anger, lust, pride, envy, etc.

Here, we recognize that we are all demons, and we want to stop being demons, but the path towards becoming an angel is not easy. We have to renounce being a demon, a hasnamuss, a marut (מארת flawed light). Regrettably, people love their demonic state, thus “flawed lights” are precisely what we find on this planet.

In order that we may enjoy the Ain Soph Aur, אין סוף אור, the divine light of the Absolute, we have to work with the sephirah Yesod; we have to work with alchemy in order to create our solar bodies. To do that, we need Abraham.

Abraham is the sephirah Chesed, the Innermost. Abraham is the Father in us, the Spirit. Master Jesus stated:

I am (Kether is) the root and the offspring of David, and (Lucifer) the bright and morning star. - Revelation 22: 16

Regarding the bright and morning star Peter wrote:

Moreover, (in Yesod-sex) we possess the prophetic Logos, whereunto you do well if you pay attention. And you do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and (Lucifer) the morning star rises in your hearts. - 2 Peter 1: 19

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” - Matthew 5: 16

“After this manner therefore pray ye (to your morning star): Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” - Matthew 6: 9-13

That prayer goes to Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, which is the very root of Abraham, because he came from אור Aur, from the light; but also from those כשדים chasidim.

When we study Kabbalah and Alchemy, we find that the כשדים chasidim are igneous particles of any Logos that develop in nature. We find, for instance, that the gnomes are כשדים chasidim – igneous particles that enliven the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom, we call them elementals. They exist in the fourth dimension, not in the tridimensional world. When we work with the elementals of the plants, minerals, or animals, we are working with the כשדים chasidim. כשדים chasidim are in evolution within the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms. They are still in development, but they are intelligent. Personally, we have had many experiences, for instance with cats, which are כשדים chasidim that utilize the physical bodies of cats. We also have had experiences with כשדים chasidim of plants; they are not as depicted in this day and age like demons or ugly creatures – no, they are beautiful beings made of light. You can call them fairies, if you like; they exist in the fourth dimension, in that promised land that the Bible talks about. If you interpret the Bible literally, you may think that the promised land is that place where people are fighting and killing each other nowadays, which is ludicrous.

Ishmael

Sequentially, let us now study ישמעאל Ishmael, the first son of Abraham.

ישמעאל Ishmael was the first child of Abraham, and on the Tree of Life corresponds to Malkuth.

ישמעאל Ishmael means “he who listens to God” or "God has heard your affliction.”

Do not fall into the mistake of thinking that the offspring of ישמעאל Ishmael are only the Arabs. In Alchemy and Kabbalah, the word “ישמעאל Ishmael” is applied to the whole Aryan root race.

When we study the Bible, the Koran, the Bhagavad-Gita, or any sacred book and start enquiring into the meaning of it, we are “listening to God,” we are “Ishmael.”

In many lectures we taught that in order to listen to God we have to activate the seven chakras or the seven churches of Assiah (our physicality). If we interpret the sacred books with our intellect, based on our five senses, we do not go beyond Ham, the mind, which does not understand the light. In order to comprehend what we read in the sacred books, we need to activate the seven chakras that in Sanskrit are named: Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishudda, Ajna and Sahasrara. Those are the seven chakras that have to be activated in order for us to understand what we are reading in the Bible. It is through those seven chakras or churches that we understand the doctrine.

ישמעאל Ishmael was the son of Agar, the Egyptian, so through Agar and Ishmael we find the meaning of Malkuth in Kabbalah.

Mitzrahim, Miriam, Malkuth

What is translated in the Bible as “Egypt” is actually in Hebrew מצרים Mitzrahim, spelled Mem, Tzadi, Resh, Iod, final Mem. In Kabbalah, Mitzrahim is a synonym of מלכות Malkuth, which also begins with the letter Mem. Malkuth מלכות means “kingdom.” Mitzrahim מצרים means “Egypt.” If we take out the letter צ tzadi from the word מצרים Mitzrahim, we then spell the word מרים Miriam, which is translated in English as Mary.

It is written in the New Testament of Christianity that the Holy Spirit (the sephirah Binah) descended in a shape of a white dove in order to fecundate מרים Miriam, מצרים Mitzrahim, מלכות Malkuth, thus from  מרים Miriam, מצרים Mitzrahim, מלכות Malkuth, emerged Jesus.

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.” - Matthew 2:15

Kabbalistically, Miriam is the sephirah Malkuth, which in Kabbalah is called Shekinah, but Shekinah is not physical. The glory of Shekinah (that we always associate with Malkuth) is the light of the Kundalini, the fire of the Holy Ghost that rises in the spinal medulla of our physicality. That is Shekinah, that we, Gnostics, work with. We always worship Shekinah, the Divine Mother, because we know that from Miriam (which is the glory of Shekinah in our physicality) emerges all the work that we have to do.

And if we take the letter ר Resh from מרים Miriam we spell the word מים mayim. What is מים mayim? It is our physicality, because mayim means “water.” What waters are we addressing? We are addressing the two creative waters or fluids that we have in our physicality: namely, the cerebrospinal fluid, which is the superior waters of Heaven, Daath, the upper Eden; and the sexual fluid in our genitalia, that is called the inferior waters of Yesod, the lower Eden. Between these two waters, symbolized by the letter Mem, we find the seed or letter Iod where the Shakti potential, the spiritual force with which we need to work, is found.

Who has to work with the two “mayim” waters related with our physicality? It is Abraham, because Abraham is “the father of many”.

“יהוה made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy (זרע semen) sperm have I given this land, from the river of Egypt (Mitzrahim מצרים) unto the great river, the river Euphrates.” - Genesis 15: 18

First, thanks to the fire of the כשדים chasidim in the sexual act, animals exist, plants exist, and humanoids exist. We all are children of the sexual act. Without the fire of the כשדים chasidim we cannot engender children. So, in Alchemy, whether we are Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, etc., we are children of Abram, we are, ourselves ישמעאל Ishmael – he who listens. Yet, not everybody in this planet is ישמעאל Ishmael, because most people prefer to watch football, baseball, wrestling, or go to the movies, and they are not interested in studying this type of doctrine that relates to God, to EL. Only those who listen to what relates to God are ישמעאל Ishmael. So, all religious people are, alchemically and kabbalistically speaking, ישמעאל Ishmael, those who listen to the word.

Isaac

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.” - James 1: 22-24

If we practice sexual alchemy we become doers of the word, then we will enter the promised land and become “the children of the promise”, which is יצחק Isaac.

יצחק Isaac means “the one that will follow the promise.”

יצחק Isaac is the sephirah Geburah. Malkuth is nothing but an extension of Geburah. If we live here in the physical plane just like everybody, we will be always at the level of ישמעאל Ishmael (only listening to the doctrine). ישמעאל Ishmael has many sects in Islam, Judaism, Christianity and in Hinduism, where they study the word. Regrettably, ישמעאל Ishmael people have fallen into the mistake of thinking that by believing in the word is how they will go up into the Tree of Life and will experience the promised land, the world of Yesod – and it is not like that.

“Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannuls, or adds thereto. Now to Abraham (Thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many גוים Goyim-Aryans have I made thee. - Genesis 17: 5) and his seed (זרע semen, sperm) were the promises made. He said not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is (the Iod within which is the shakti potential of the Cosmic) Christ.” - Galatians 3: 15, 16

“For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a free-woman. But he (ישמעאל Ishmael) who was of the bond-woman was born after the flesh (like any כשדים chasidim); but he of the free-woman was by (transmuting his seed) the promise (or sexual alchemy). Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from (אברם Abram with) the mount Sinai, which genders (Ishmael) to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia (Mitzrahim מצרים “Egypt”), and answers to Jerusalem which now is (represented by Judaism, Christianity and Islam), and is in bondage with her (millions of) children.

“But Jerusalem which is (Yesod) above (Malkuth) is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate has many more children than she which has (אברהם Abraham as) a husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac (which is Geburah) was, are the children of (sexual transmutation or) the promise (to his seed).” - Galatians 4: 22-28

Thus, in order to enter into the mysteries of the Tree of Life, we have to engender יצחק Isaac. Remember that as (Abram) our Innermost (Spirit) gives life to (ישמעאל Ishmael) our physicality, that Spirit can also engender יצחק Isaac inside of us; this is how we will be the children of the promise. But יצחק Isaac is not going to be born in us by believing, but by practicing the doctrine of Kabbalah and Alchemy within. Eventually, if יצחק Isaac is born, we will then start seeing all of the mysteries of the promise land in us. Otherwise, we would not even understand what is written in the Book of Genesis.

So, ישמעאל Ishmael and יצחק Isaac are the two children of Abraham. Right now we will say that Abraham (the Innermost) is “the father of many”, of course, kabbalistically speaking; but very few have יצחק Isaac (“the one that will follow the promise”) within. יצחק Isaac has to be born inside; in other words, יצחק Isaac has to be born within ישמעאל Ishmael.

First is ישמעאל Ishmael: we believe, we understand, we comprehend the doctrine; then we start practicing it, and we create יצחק Isaac within.

Yes, we are Ishmael, whether we are a Jew, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, it does not matter which religion; maybe in other religions we will find other names for the same archetypes – but here, we are talking about Kabbalah and Alchemy, related with the Hebrew language – this is what we have to understand.

Abraham and His Wives

In the Bible, Abraham has two wives: Agar and Sarah.

abraham kabbalah

Kabbalistically, Abraham is the sephirah Chesed. Chesed is in the seventh dimension. Chesed is mentioned in Genesis, in the Bible as “and the Spirit of Elohim was hovering upon the face of the waters.” Remember:

“In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. And the Earth was formless and void and darkness was upon the face of the abyss and the Spirit of God was moving upon the face of the waters.”

So Abraham, Chesed, the spirit of God in us, creates with those waters. And of course, creation is a work of sexual cooperation between man and wife, between Abraham and his wives. But which?

“The Earth formless and void” is referring to our physicality. Our Spirit, our Innermost, is Abraham moving in our two waters: our cerebrospinal fluid and our sexual fluid. If we commit the mistake of fornicating [orgasm], then Abraham will have children with Agar, the Egyptian slave, which indicates slavery or bondage in Malkuth, physicality. All of us are children of Agar; we are slaves of physicality. We may follow the doctrine, we may love the doctrine, we may study it, we may read it, but we are still here in “Agar,” the physical plane, as slaves to physicality. If we want to experience heaven, then through sexual alchemy we must become children of Sarah.

Sarah is the symbol of polarities: Sa is the moon in Yesod, and Rah is the sun in Tiphereth. Sarah relates to the work of the waters, and Abraham to the Spirit of God that moves upon the face of the waters.

The symbol of all of this is the star of Solomon, the star of David. People think that it is only an emblem of Judaism, but when we study other religions, we find that the hexagram is in Hinduism, Buddhism, etc and represents the Logos, the Word, Christ. As well as when we study the runes, we find the swastika. The swastika does not belong to the Germans; it is a symbol that we find among the Mayans, Aztecs and many other religions (if Hitler used that in the wrong way, that is another matter). Thus, the star of six points is the symbol of the Logos, as Master Samael Aun Weor explained in Tarot and Kabbalah

“It is very interesting that the number six has seventy-two doors on each side and seventy-two intermediate ones. We find the explanation in the star of King Solomon. In summary, we see that this star has twelve rays—six masculine and six feminine—which are decomposed in the twelve constellations of the zodiac. In this star are summarized and synthesized the mysteries of the Arcanum A.Z.F., the mysteries of Alchemy, the mysteries of sex. This star is the symbol of the Logos.”

The six-pointed star points also to Malkuth (our physicality).

The male and female aspects relate to the twelve zodiacal signs, the twelve tribes of Israel, and are why we have twelve months in the year. The twelve tribes of Israel relate to the whole planet, esoterically, alchemically speaking. Depending on what sign were you born, you will find the association of that sign with a tribe among the twelve tribes of Israel.

In the past, the arcana of this doctrine was given to a certain elite. The arcana was passing from mouth to ear through many centuries. Now this elite thinks that they alone are “Israel” and that the twelve tribes belong only to them. That has caused a serious problem. We have to understand that the doctrine given by the great masters of the past was given to the whole of humanity, and not for that certain elite that believe themselves to be “the chosen.” We must not fall into that mistake.

Our soul is represented by the number six. The six-pointed star always point to the sephirah Tiphereth which is the sixth sephirah, the Human Soul. The Human Soul is associated with Israel, because Israel is a compound of different parts of the soul that we have to develop when we enter the path, and that is the reason why the Human Soul incarnates in Malkuth, our physicality.

The embryo of soul that has to develop as the Human Soul is here right now, inside our body. That is why all of us are children of Israel, we are souls in physicality.

That is why the star of six points is symbolized by Tiphereth and Malkuth. In Kabbalah we say Tiphereth is the husband and Malkuth is the wife. Malka means “queen.” In Tiphereth we find the Malachim, the “kings.”  Tiphereth and Malkuth have to be together inside of us in order to work in this path.

In the middle of the six-pointed star is a hexagon, and if we take that 6 of the hexagon plus the 6 points and the 6 entrances between the points we find three numbers 6: 666, that famous number from the book of Revelation. The beast 666 is all of us. It is time to understand that. We always like to point at others with our index finger, “The beast 666 is the pope!” “No, is the current president of the U.S.” etc. and while we are doing this and pointing at others, we ignore that our three fingers, namely, the small, annular and middle, are pointing back at ourselves. The beast 666 is the humanoid that has the possibility of becoming a human being, because the beast 666 comes from the abyss with all of those כשדים chasidim that we have within.

In the beginning, our Innermost, our own particular Abraham is not Abraham but Abram. If you read the Book of Genesis, Abraham was not initially called Abraham but Abram; the letter Hei was missing from his name. When he starts working in Sexual Alchemy with the waters of life, then the “H” was added to him, spelling Abraham. Thus, before that, we are only dealing with כשדים chasidim, demons inside of us, which are all of those inhuman elements that we have within.

When Abram (the Innermost) entered into initiation in Egypt (Malkuth), Abram became Abraham, and this is how our Innermost starts the initiations of Major Mysteries. The Zohar explains how Abram started the initiation of Minor Mysteries. When he enters into the Major Mysteries (before engendering יצחק Isaac), God tells him his name won’t be Abram, but Abraham because the letter Hei is with him (which symbolizes Malkuth), thus he was going to work with the matrix, the womb, the woman, and he started and engendered יצחק Isaac at the age of 100 years. The Zohar states:

“Abraham attained to the highest degree of initiation, symbolized as we have just stated by (Yod) the first letter in the divine name, Yod, Hei Vav, Hei, that has its polarity in the last or lower letter (Hei). The first (the Yod) being symbol of the male, the last (the Hei) of the female. It is written, 'and he said unto them,' 'so (Coh) shall thy seed be,' referring to the multiplication of his posterity who should attain to the same degree of divine life and science as himself. Hence it is that every gentile that enters into the Covenant is called ger zedek (a true proselyte) and becomes a son or child of Abraham (that is, a son of God, the Innermost). Therefore, said God unto him, 'so shall thy seed be,' or in other words, all gentiles who enter into the Covenant shall be of thee and called by thy name (the name of their Monad).

"This, then, was why the letter H was added to the name Abram. Had Sarah only attained this H or degree, the posterity of Abram would then have been only children of the lower degree of divine life and knowledge or merely proselytes, here designated by the name of Coh. Owing, however, to the addition of the higher H symbolizing the divine life, to Abram, and the lower H to the name of Sara, it became possible to engender and bring forth offspring who would be able to attain to the same degree of initiation in divine life as their ancestors, Abraham and Sarah. The union of the two H's produced the Yod or I, the first letter in the name of יצחק Isaac  emblem of the male principle (in Geburah), which from the time of his birth, began to increase upon the earth; that is to say, from the time of the birth of יצחק Isaac, men began to be born and come into the world who lived the higher and diviner life (of Geburah), and therefore it is written, 'for in Isaac shall thy seed be called' (Genesis 21: 12).” - Zohar

In Malkuth, the first initiation of major mysteries, Abraham, the Innermost, acquires 100 years. Then with Yesod the second initiation of major mysteries the Innermost acquires 200 years, 300 in Hod, 400 in Netzach, 500 in Tiphereth, going up from the very bottom of the abyss; as it is written:

“In the beginning Elohim created the heavens (of Chesed, Geburah and Tiphereth) and the earth (Malkuth). And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss. And (Chesed) the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters. And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light.” - Genesis 1: 1-3

“In the beginning Elohim created (in) the heavens (our Spirit, Divine Soul and Human Soul) and (in) the earth (our Physicality). And (the Psyche within our animal physicality in) the earth was formless (in Chaos), and void (of light); and darkness was upon the face of the Abyss (our Infra-consciousness). And (Chesed) the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the (creative sexual) waters. And (through sexual alchemy) Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light.” - Genesis 1: 1-3

This is how the light of the Elohim develops the esoteric ages or days that Genesis in the Bible talks about. This is how Abraham, our Spirit, our Inner Father, starts working against our darkness, our enemies, which form the beast 666 that makes the addition of 18, which, kabbalistically, means “occult enemies”. Who are those occult enemies? They are our egos, our vices, our transgressions! Do not fall into the mistake of thinking the enemies of Abraham are those people who are atheists or who are polytheists. No! The enemies of Abraham are within each one of us. We have to fight against them because our psychic animal elements are following the law of evolution, the mechanicity of nature; the souls of any mineral, plant or animal follow the law of evolution. But, when we, as souls of beasts, through evolution ascend from the abyss into human bodies, we become נפש חיות Nephesh Chaioth or the beast 666, then, we, as souls, receive the opportunity of creating, through scientific chastity, Ha-Adam into the image of Elohim and receiving, through sexual alchemy, the נשמת חיים Neshamath Chaim, breath of life from יהוה אלהים Jehovah Elohim-Binah, in order to leave the abyss and become a Nephesh Chaiah, a living soul. As it is written:

“And Yod-Havah Elohim (the Holy Spirit) formed Adam of the dust of (האדמה Ha-Adamah) the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the (נשמת חיים Neshamah Chaim) breath of life; and (האדם) Ha-Adam became a (לנפש חיה - Nephesh Chaiah) living soul.” - Genesis 2: 7

If we do not do it, then we as נפש חיות Nephesh Chaioth or the beast 666 that through evolution ascended from the abyss will fall, through the law of devolution, into perdition in the left side of the cosmic wheel when in Malkuth, the earth, it downwardly turns through its devolving cycle.

In Malkuth, our physicality, alchemically speaking, we find that the upper triangle of the star of six points represents Tejas (fire), while the upside-down triangle represents Apas (water). Apas is also located at the North of the Tree of Life, and Tejas “fire” at the South of the Tree of Life. The East is always related with the air (the tattva Vayu); and the symbol of Prittvi, the earth, is precisely the West – this is how we find in alchemy the four elements represented in the star of David. That is why Malkuth is symbolized by the cross. The four sides of the cross are related to the four elements.

When we talk about the four elements, we find that the twelve tribes of Israel that relate to the Star of David are related to the four elements. For instance, Pisces is water, Scorpio is water, Cancer is water (three signs of water among the 12); and then we find air: Gemini, Aquarius and Libra; also three signs of earth: Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo; and then we find the signs of fire: Aries, Sagittarius and Leo. So, the star of David is always associated with the four elements in Malkuth. Master Samael wrote:

“In each human reincarnation, every human being is born under a different star so that the ego is “rounded off,” little by little. But there is a star that rules our Innermost, and that Star never changes: this is our “Father Star. This Star is our Father who is in the heavens.

“Isbener Aldane states, “I raise my eyes towards the stars, from where help will come to me, but I always follow the star that guides my Innermost.” -  Practical Astrology by Samael Aun Weor

We are born in Malkuth in order to little by little get rounded off with the forces of the elements, with the forces of the twelve zodiacal signs or tribes, and the Star of David is always associated with them, but remember that the Star of David has the hexagon in the middle; we have to control three 6’s (18) in order to receive it as the seal of the living God in our foreheads.

That is why in Kabbalah we find the three mother letters, the origin of the other Hebrew letters. The letter Aleph, for instance, symbolizes air. In many lectures we told you that the letter Aleph is associated with your spinal column – this is precisely the spinal column, the letter Vav in the middle of the shape of the letter Aleph. In the right, above, we find the letter Iod, which is the Shakti potential of the cerebrospinal fluid, and the Iod below represents the Shakti potential of the sexual fluid – this is letter Aleph, which is the wind, the Spirit, the air. When you read about the Spirit, the air or the wind, remember that they are addressing Aleph; this is why the name of God, in Hebrew is El, we only add the letter Lamed. Aleph is associated with the air, and the letter Lamed with the heart. When you read Aleph, you have to understand that we are talking about your spinal column, the two waters, but they are directly pointing at the potency of the waters (for instance, there, the Niagara fall gives a lot of electricity). So, when we say Shakti potential of the waters, we are talking about that electricity; not the water itself, but that electricity that is within the waters, and that is what the letter Aleph represents: our spinal column dividing the two creative waters that we have in our system.

The spinal column is called the throne of God; this is where the Spirit of God moves between the two waters. Forget about the macrocosmic water, let us talk about our microcosmic water; so, when God (Abraham, the Innermost) sits in your spinal column, it is between the two waters. Abraham is not of the past or future, it is of the present; and if we want to be the real children of Abraham, we have to seat him on our spinal column, then we can say, “I am a child of Abraham”.

The prana, the Shakti potential of God, the Logos, cannot exist without Mem. If we did not have the cerebrospinal fluid or the sexual fluid in our physicality, then the Shakti potential of the waters cannot exist in us; that is why we have to take care of our sexual fluids; the two polarities: the cerebral spinal fluid is Adam, positive, while the negative is called Havah or Eve, the sexual fluid in the sexual glands. We have to take care of them if we want to work with the Shekinah, if we want to give birth to the Savior inside. The letter Mem hides the secret of creation; without the fluids we cannot channel energy.

The element earth is our physicality. We have the three primary forces inside, which are represented in the letter Shin (which is fire). There is another letter that we always associate with the physicality – the letter Nun. The letter Shin hides a letter Nun; and the letter Nun is holding two letters Vav or two letters Zayin (the two polarities of the spinal column). Letter Shin three “Vav’s”: Ida, Pingala and Sushumna – the nervous system that we have in our physicality: the central nervous system, the grand-sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system; so, Shin is related to our nervous system. All that force of Shin crystalizes in the letter Nun; the letter Nun is, of course, related with fish (nun in Aramaic is “fish”), related with the sperm and the ova. When the man and the woman are united in the sexual act, Shin, fire, is there – the work with the water and with the air, the three forces working there, in ourselves. The fire in us circulates in the central nervous system, in the grand-sympathetic nervous system, and in the parasympathetic nervous system.

In other lectures, we explained that Malkuth is the mixture of all the forces. Pistis Spohia calls the physical body “the mixture”.  Symbolically speaking, upper and lower Egypt (Mitzrahim) and the river Nile are within us, that is why Abraham went there – because Abraham is the Spirit that hovers upon the face of the waters of Mitzrahim in order to work in the initiation. This is how our Innermost has to descend and work on us, physically.

If you want to enter into initiation, you have to pray to your Innermost, which is you inner Abraham: “Father of many, help me to work on the path.” Then he descends from his sphere (the seventh dimension) into your physicality. If I tell you this it is because it happened to me; I call my God, my inner Being, my Spirit – “help me!” – and He comes and descends into my physicality and gives me a hand, his hand; and I, the soul, start talking and praying to Him: “help me, because I am a part of you, I am your inferior part, and by working together we will be out of this demonic planet!” We are in Kali Yuga, and things here are getting worse and worse. Remember that Abraham took Lot out of Sodom and Gomorrah, and after that it was destroyed. Abraham is the only one that can take you out, because he is the child of the three primary forces. By doing that internally, individually, this is how we walk on the path of initiation. First: nine initiations of Minor Mysteries; then, the Major initiations – read the Zohar, because the Zohar talks about this very clearly.

Remember, we worship the Jews: Abraham, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, the prophets – which are true Jews that incarnated Judah, the solar light; and Simeon bar Yochai was a true Jew. In this physical world there are people that call themselves Jews, but do not do anything about this; it is like in India, a lot of peoples call themselves Brahmans and they do not do anything from real Brahmanism. So, to become a true Jew, you have to work with your archetypes, inside – in order to, finally, one day, enter into the promised land, which is Yesod in the fourth dimension.

Now we understand what Exodus or the journey from this physical world (which is symbolized by Canaan) to the promised land means. We have to go in the wilderness, which means from Malkuth to Yesod, in order to enter into the fourth dimension with all of this transformation that we have to do – because in the fourth dimension live another humanity. People think that this tridimensional humanity is the only humanity in this planet, but they are wrong. There are two types of humanity in this planet Earth: first, the demonic humanity, which is us; but in the fourth dimension (Eden) live another humanity. Yes, there, in the upper part of the fourth dimension, we find the great resurrected masters.

So, remember: when we read the sacred scriptures, Abraham is our Innermost, and he is the only one that walks with God, because Abraham was and still is a friend of God. He is the only one that can take us out from the level in which we are.

Questions and Answers

Audience: Is כשדים chasidim the same as the word that the orthodox Jews use for Hasidism?

Instructor: No, Hasidism is spelled חסידות in Hebrew, which is a type of orthodox Judaism; the כשדים chasidim are all the different igneous particles that we have, which are still at the level of the animal kingdom.

There are many sects in Judaism, Christianity, even in Islam, that do not walk on the path; their Innermost is still at the level of כשדים chasidim. In order to follow Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, then Abram must stop being Abram at the level of כשדים chasidim, and enter into the level of Abraham, the level of a human being.

Abram exists within the innermost parts of any animal, plant, mineral and humanoid, but only us, the humanoids, have the opportunity to work with our own particular Abram and transform him into Abraham.

Of course, there are many sects that think that following certain rules is enough in order to become the children of the promise, true children of God. The problem is that in order for us to become a true child of God, we have to work with the waters, the vehicle of electricity. When we are vocalizing or doing different exercises in relation with our spinal column, the energy that activates the chakras of our spinal column are the electricity hidden within the cerebrospinal fluid – and is our Innermost the one that is doing it, because he is the one that floats between the two waters. If we do it with ego, then we develop fanaticism; but in order to develop in the right way, we have to be in chastity, because only the animals fornicate – fornication is orgasm, spasm; chastity is transmutation of the waters of Eden.

Audience: So, you mentioned the initiatic years of 100, 200, 300 etc. of the Mayor Mysteries. What are the years related with the Serpents of Light?

Instructor: The same; we will say 100 years in the Light or 200 years in the Light, because we enter until Chesed is 700 years; when we enter into the first triangle then there is a year of 1000. 1000 years – Binah; 2000 years – Chokmah; 3000 years – Kether. Before entering into those hundred levels of ages of life; before 100, you are 90, 80, 70, 60… those are the Minor Mysteries. In order to enter into the Major Mysteries, you have to have the age (or your Being has to have the age) of 99 years old.

Audience: But also for the Serpents of Light – do you actually have to pass through initiation through the serpents of Chesed and Geburah; or those Serpents of Light are already lifted?

Instructor: No, the Serpents of Fire are different, the Serpents of Fire, of course, because Chesed and Geburah are always standing – but when you work with the Serpents of Light, you have to go even to Binah; to rise the Serpent of Binah in the Light.

Audience: Is this done through initiations?

Instructor: It is done through the Initiation of Light, because remember that Binah is the Holy Spirit, and we killed Binah (the Holy Spirit, the god Mercury) through fornication. So, that is why when we talk about resurrection, resurrection in Binah, where all of the forces of the Holy Spirit become purified in different levels, because Binah has his kingdom in the sexual organs.

Resurrection means that we no longer prostitute the god Mercury, talking alchemically, because we have different mercuries: brute mercury or the sperm; we have to annihilate the dry mercury or all of those egos that we have within – in order to perfect ourselves in the level of Binah. Then, we become human beings into the image of Binah – because it is written that the holy name of Binah is Jehovah Elohim. It is written in the Bible that Jehovah Elohim created Adam into His own image and into his own likeness – means perfect – but we are not at that level, because we fell. So, when we again recuperate that level of purity in Binah, then we repent and say: “Forgive me, Father, for I sin.” And then Binah says to you: “Do not do it again, because the punishment is going to be more severe.”

Audience: You said in the beginning of the lecture that in order for us to understand these lectures or the esoteric teachings, we have to listen with our activated chakras as oppose to our intellect. How do we know if we do it…?

Instructor: Well, we know it if we meditate; because after reading just a little bit, enough in order to comprehend what we read, we sit down in meditation. Through meditation is how your Innermost, Abraham, will show you the meaning of that – then you are learning.

Now, in the beginning, it depends how activated your chakras are, because we have to develop them 100% and positively, because the chakras can rotate backwards, and that is dangerous. When your chakras rotate backwards then your Innermost is not acting through them, but the ego, and an ego of mythomania can come into the internal planes and tell you: “You are the master such and such; you are really self-realized.” You return and say: “Oh, yes, I am that.” If you have the ego alive, how are you going to be that? We insist always in rotating the chakras in the positive manner; the master talks about that in many books – because there are many individuals in this day and age that activate the chakras but in the negative manner, and they see only the desires, the dreams that do not coincide with reality. Master Samael Aun Weor explained that if what we see, if what we experience in the internal worlds, out of the body, does not coincide with your life in the physical plane, then it is a lie. You have to be patient – if it does not coincide, you are cheating yourself. That is why this is the path of the razor’s edge, good and evil – that is why you have to be always silent, to meditate, to comprehend. Sometimes your ego wants to push you aside, but the Being is showing you the path. How do you discover when it is your ego and when it is your Being? When you meditate, when you pray, when you follow the rules written in the books (it is call the Deuteronomy or the written Law) – until you are really convinced that you can hear you God face to face, because to talk with your Innermost face to face is possible, but for that you have to annihilate a lot of ego at least 90% – before seeing your God face to face; but your God can also guide you, even if you do not see Him. That is the clue: meditation. Do you have any other question?

Audience: Sometimes people mention (…) and leaving the physical (…) and reaching the promised land…?

Instructor: Well, you can visit the promised land – the fourth dimension – with your astral body or with your mental body, or in a state of Samadhi, you can enter into that promised land and see the reality of the fourth dimension. But there are many practices that the shamans, the natives, do in order to penetrate into the fourth dimension – it is called Jinn state. Of course, this is just like visiting the fourth dimension – because to remain there is possible only if you are a resurrected master; that is precisely the promised land for the resurrected masters – they work until the whole body belongs to that dimension completely. Those individuals can come from the fourth dimension and to appear into the tridimensional world; but, naturally, they belong to the fourth dimension. In our case, we belong to the tridimensional world, because we are fallen – but, with certain procedures of magic, we can enter into the fourth dimension, but at the very lower level, and to experience what is to be in the fourth dimension, but you have to return into this physical world because it is where you belong. Master Samael Aun Weor explains in many of his books that, in the beginning, when he entered into the fourth dimension, he entered in the very lower level; but with practices and persisting in the path, he really entered into the higher dimension, and then he was visiting all the temples of the White Lodge, the humanities that exist in the superior level of the fourth dimension. We know that witches and sorcerers enter into the inferior level of the fourth dimension, and they know how to enter with certain procedures – as I said, they are just visiting there and have to return. Our goal in this path is to remain there; for instance, Moses achieved it and many masters live there, and they can come and assist you. Madame Blavatsky, for instance, the writer of The Secret Doctrine, Isis Unveiled – she was assisted by three masters of the fourth dimension: the Master Morya, the Master Kuthumi and the Master Djwal Kul – they were instructing her in what she wrote and in what she was teaching – likewise, you can be a disciple of those masters of the superior level; or disciple of other masters of the lower levels.
