Mysterious Tetragrammaton, Part 2

Continuing on from the previous lecture on this subject, the mysterious Tetragrammaton, we know that this word Tetragrammaton is a Greek word. In Greek, “Tetra” is 4 and “Gramma” is letter. So, when you say Tetragrammaton it is related to the sacred four lettered phrases and mantras.

So, not only is the Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei-יהוה, the holy name of God, the Tetragrammaton but in Latin we also have the famous INRI that is always found on top of the cross. This word or acronym INRI in Latin is, Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra, and which in English is translated as: “fire renews nature constantly.”

Here, in Atziluth-אצילות, for instance, we stated that Kether-כתר hides the mantra Jah-יה, within Eheieh-אהיה, which is another Tetragrammaton. Yes, Eheieh-אהיה is also another Tetragrammaton that we find written in the book of Exodus, given unto Moses.

Eheieh

Eheieh-אהיה is that phrase that Kether-כתר pronounces in front of Moses when Moses asks unto his inner, particular, individual God:

“Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, what is his name? what shall I say unto them?” - Exodus 3:13

And his Kether-כתר says unto Moses:

“Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה, “I am that I am”: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Eheieh-אהיה, I AM hath sent me unto you.” - Exodus 3:14

“Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה,” which in the Bible is translated as, “I am that I am,” or, “I am the one who is.”

If we inquire into this phrase pronounced by Kether-כתר, which is Jah-יה, we see that it is related with Elijah-אליהו, which means, “My God is Jah-יה (literally meaning “Jah-יה or IAO-יהו is ELI-אלי, my God).” This implies something that is permanent, the omnipresence of El-אל, God; “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה, I am the one that was and the one that will be.”

Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה, means, “I am the one that is, I am the one that am.” It is something that is related to the moment, the present. It is written that God is omnipresent, this in order for us to understand that we have to be here and now, in order for us to be one with “that,” to live the present. To live the moment is always a requirement for the self-realization of the being, an eternal presence.

Remember that when we remember God we have to identify with that phrase, “He is.” Therefore, if “He is,” we should also be. But to be is not a matter of being as we think, or existing as we think. People think that “to be” is to exist. No. “To be” is something different. Anybody can exist, but to be is to live in the moment, to be cognizant, present, to be cognizant inside.

Normally, ordinarily we are always outside of ourselves. Remember that Eheieh-אהיה, Jah-יה is here in the present.

We have to understand that when we study the Tree of Life, and we observe the positions of the sephiroth, we find the first triangle, the logoic triangle is related with the head. In the head, we have these three primary forces related with three magnetic centers that are three particles of God or atomic forces. We call these forces “atomic” from the point of view of size, not that they are physical atoms; they are atomic because they are igneous particles.

The first is located in the middle of the eyebrows, and the root of the nose, “that” is the magnetic center of Kether-כתר. In the pituitary gland is the atomic force of Chokmah-חכמה, and in the pineal gland we have the atomic force of Binah-בינה.

So, there you have Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the three primary forces or Holy Trinity in the head. When we work with this, remembering ourselves, the center of gravity of that self-remembering, that “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה, I am that I am” is always in the pineal gland. The pineal gland is the center related with the chakra Sahasrara, which is the crown chakra or Kether-כתר-crown chakra.

So, you have to remember God there, when you are remembering and centering yourself within your phisicality because this is the body that we have that we have to work with. The pineal gland is the seat of the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה, because we are that soul. We have to sit in this vehicle, we have to be in the “driver’s seat.”

We, as consciousness, as souls, as Neshamoth Chayim-נשמת חיים, have to sit in our body. Neshamoth Chayim-נשמת חיים have to control this body. The seat of the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה is the pineal gland, but the consciousness, the soul has to be there, present, attentive, because we are that. If we are not remembering that we are in the body, that the body is a vehicle that we have to observe and control, then we are not seated in the throne; we are not living that phrase: “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה; I am the one I am.”

That is why we always insist that the first step on the path is to remember God; not to imagine God, but to remember. That remembrance is related with the present moment, because God is not from the past, nor from the future. He is eternal in this present moment. Therefore, if you are there, present in your pineal gland, feeling yourself there, then you can sense the presence of your own particular crown, your Kether-כתר. “That’’ is the beginning.

Of course, you know, the whole entity of Kether-כתר goes beyond your pineal gland.  The pineal gland, the chakra Sahasrara or Kether-כתר-crown chakra is connected to that force. When we learn to make the moment-to-moment effort to sit in that pineal gland, which is the beginning of being awakened in the physical body, then we are.

There is no other way we are going to be 100% Kether-כתר because unfortunately, we have many Baalim-בעלים, egos, as it is written:

Angelika Kauffmann Christ and the Samaritan

“Jesus answered and said unto her (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

The woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה) saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה),

Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give her shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give her shall be in her a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה) saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus saith unto her (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), Go, call thy (Baal-בעל) husband, and come hither.

The woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה) answered and said, I have no (Baal-בעל) husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no (Baal-בעל) husband: For thou hast had five (Baalim-בעלים) husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy (Baal-בעל) husband: in that saidst thou truly The woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה) saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews (that is, the Lions of Judah).

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The woman (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה) saith unto him, I know that Messiah-משיח cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

Jesus saith unto her (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), I that speak unto thee am he.” - John 4:10-26

If we at least make the effort to be present and centered in the pineal gland, with the percentage of free consciousness that we have while we walk in the path, we increase the amount the strength of that consciousness, (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), in order for us to be more and more aware of what we are in reality, not what we imagine ourselves, our God to be.

God is an eternal presence, the being.

Through this conscious effort is how we, little by little, experience that which people call God, which has no form: “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה; I am the one that I am.”

So, let us be here, now. Let us remember our Neshamoth Chayim-נשמת חיים, our true selves.

So, this is why, when Moses is before God and is going to descend into Egypt (which is Malkuth-מלכות, our Physicality, the physical plane), God says to him, “Go and tell them: “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיאשר אהיה; I am that I am.”

This does not mean that Moses says, “Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה; I am that I am;” so send me, No, this means:

The Micro prosopopeia2

“And he (Kether-כתר) said, Certainly I will be with thee (in your pineal gland); and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee (as the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה): When thou hast brought forth the people out of (Mitzraim-מצרים) Egypt, ye (as Neshamoth Chayim-נשמת חיים) shall serve God (as Malachim-מלכים) upon (Tiphereth-תפארת, that is,) this mountain.” - Exodus 3:12

It means that when you descend to work in yourself, in your psychology, you have to do it consciously.

Your intellect, the pharaoh, is always questioning you. The only one to understand the work of Moses, and to perform the miracle that Moses (who represents willpower/thelema) did before the Pharaoh is by remembering yourself, by bringing that energy from above because the battle is within, not without.

This is a personal individual work that we have to perform.

Only God can help us. But, if we forget God and we think that God is something else, and we fail to understand that we are part of him, and that God is in the present, and that we are just managing the matter, then we fall into maya, illusion.

We discover that by making this effort cognizant, because this is how we discover that phrase that says, “Man, know thyself” which in Latin is Homo Nosce Te Ipsum. If we are always out of ourselves, identified with the matter, we cannot know ourselves.

Many people think that we are the physical body; that the physical body is the totality of what and who we are, and that when the physical body dies, we cease to be, because they are identified with the body. The body is illusion. The body is maya; it has no reality, it is dust. As it is written:

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” - Genesis 3:19

We are born, and after a few years, the body goes to the ground. Everybody will die. What we are is precisely the consciousness (the Soul-Neshamah-נשמה). Sometimes, people will refer to the consciousness as, “my consciousness (my Soul-Neshamah-נשמה), my spirit (my Ruach-רוח).” Why do they say that? It is because they think that they are the body. We should say, “My physical body, the vehicle in which I live and manifest in this three-dimensional world since, I am not the physical body.”

Who are you? This is precisely the question you have to ask yourself: “Who am I?” “What am I doing here?” When you consciously feel that question, you develop for your inner being in that way in which you just want to be there, inside of yourself, without forgetting that which you are. Indeed, the question “Who am I?” asked with sufficient zeal and sincerity, and paired with enough concentration and imagination, can take us all the way to our very being, our real self.

That is what it is to be jealous, consciously speaking; this is precisely what we should develop. It is written:

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for Iod-Havah-יהיה, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” - Exodus 34:14

Kena-קנא is not that type of jealousy, like the egotistical elements that we have within. Rather, Kena-קנא is a jealousy that we feel towards ourselves, a “jealousy” of putting our God, our innermost being first. If we forget ourselves we are not acting with that jealous passion.

For instance, Ramakrishna, the great Yogi from India decided to stay here now and devote himself to his Divine Mother, second after second. He said, “I'm going to punish myself if I forget, even for a second, my Divine mother,” because he understood that the whole work that we have to perform lies on the Divine Mother.

There was a moment in which he forgot for a while, and he realized that he forgot his Divine Mother for a few minutes and so he did penances, because he wanted to be jealous in that way, to be always there, to be awakened.

To be awakened is really something difficult, because it is to remember your own deity, from moment to moment. But, this is not an imagining of God, it is sensing it, perceiving that, to whatever degree we are able to. That is precisely the point when you as Chesed-חסד, the Ruach Elohim-רוח אלהים, the wind that you breathe, which purifies your blood in Tiphereth-תפארת, your heart, who is in between or in the middle of two souls, namely, Nephesh-נפש or animal soul and Neshamah-נשמה or human soul, the two forces, sex and brain, respectively. As we explained, Malkuth-מלכות, our physicality represents a cosmos in between, that is why it is called, a mesocosmos μεσόκοσμος. That mesocosmos μεσόκοσμος, Malkuth-מלכות is related to the physical body. Yes, Malkuth-מלכות is also our own particular, physical body, and the physical body has its infra-dimensions. You find in the books of the Master Samael Aun Weor that he refers to the infra-Dimensions as “the atomic infernos of the human being.”

Well, the atomic infernos of a human being are precisely the Klipothic forces in us; atomic micro forces related with the ego. Those atomic infernos within us are what in psychology are called, subconsciousness, unconsciousness and infra-consciousness. All of us have that, but we ignore it. We do not know about our psychological depths, as we don’t want to know.

There are people that go to the psychologist in order for the psychologist to help them to deal with those psychological elements that they cannot deal with. Of course, in the Gnostic case, we have to deal with that. We have to know ourselves to control that. The only psychology that we need in order to perform the work is God within.

So, we have to invoke, we have to remember. This is how we know our own particular inferior dimensions, our own hell, because we live in hell.

People think that hell, Klipoth, the infernos are something that they experience related with nature. When somebody has nightmares, they experience that, our own psychological inferno, directly; but, most of the time we live in hell, we live in the infradimensions. We live in the subconsciousness, unconsciousness and infra-consciousness; our own particular atomic infradimensions.

Once in a while we experience the supra-dimensions or the parts that are above the physical plane. When we say the physical plane, we are talking about Malkuth-מלכות, our physical body, because it is the only thing that we can experience as consciousness, in our present condition; Malkuth-מלכות is that element that we use and move.

Of course, Malkuth-מלכות is three-dimensional too, but the only reality within you is what is inside your body. For instance, you have five senses. All that we hear, see, smell, taste comes to us through our five senses; these experiences enter through those windows, those senses, into our consciousness. Without the five senses, you are just the physical body; you are inside there, so that is your reality.

This Bible that you see here is the image. You see what your eyes are capturing. But the reality of this Bible is that I have it in my hand, thus this Bible cannot be in your head. What you have in your mind, through your senses, is merely the image of the Bible, not the Bible itself.

What we have inside is what we have to deal with. Nobody is outside, external to themselves. People identify with the outside world, and they want to fix the outside... meanwhile, you can do whatever you do in the outside world, but if you do not change, if you are not conscious, cognizant of what you are within, you are not awakened, you are asleep.

In order to know ourselves, we have to sit in the body and to control that robot. We have to observe what is wrong with this physical body; some parts have physical illnesses, etc, but more importantly, are we really using the body in the way that we should use it? And if not, then who is using it?

Is God there? Or is God absent?  It is written:

merchants of the temple

“And the Jews' Passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; and said unto them that sold doves, take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

Jesus answered and said unto them, destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

But he spoke of the temple of his body.” - John 2:13-21

Jesus entered into the Temple of Jerusalem and whipped the merchants of the temple. People think that that happened physically, but it is a symbol. The whip is willpower. To enter into the temple means to enter into your own body, your own mind, your own psyche; it is to enter within, consciously.

What do you find there? All of us have those merchants within that we have to remove from the temple.

We have to make of our physical body a temple of Jah-יה. But, that whipping and taking out of the merchants of the temple is not easy.

We have psychological elements that make exchange of, business of, or trade with, the energies that we have in the body, in order to satisfy themselves. Those elements are seven heads of the beast that everyone has within. They are lust, anger, pride, greed, laziness, gluttony and envy, all those psychological defects that we have in abundance, which we have to fight.

“And Elijah-אליהו came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if Iod-Havah-יהוה be the Elohim-האלהים (Chayah-חיה, Binah-בינה), follow him: but if Baal-בעל, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” - 1Kings 18:21

We are in the same position. Below, we have the infradimensions and above we have heaven inside; we have the glands, we have the forces. We have to decide what to do. If we decide to go up, then the upper forces come and put us on the path because there are hierarchies, there are forces that people call angels. The way in which we enter into the path of initiation, the path of self-realization, is inside.

In this physical world we teach, but in the end, what matters is what happens within. Externally, there are different schools, philosophies, organizations that give initiations, but, if you do not experience that within, it counts for nothing. You can receive 100 initiations in this physical world, but if you don't experience that in your consciousness, those initiations are worthless.

There are many people that believe in God, but if you do not experience God in your consciousness, then what good is that belief?

Many people do not believe in God, so, what? Our goal is to experience that, to experience our own inner divinity. What we want is to have faith born of experience, not beliefs. People confuse belief with faith, but they are not the same. Faith is born from the experience of the consciousness. If you have faith, you have no doubt because you see it, you touch it with your soul, your consciousness with your senses, with your chakras, you know it to be true.

We need to walk the path and this path has been taught in the many sacred scriptures that we study here.

The first thing that we need, in order for us to walk this path, is that the initiator has to put us on the path of self-realization. Who is that initiator? In Hebrew, it is a Cherub-כרוב (Aramaic for “to plough”); in Greek, it is Prometheus; and, in Latin, it is Lucifer. He is the strong one that ploughs, that places you on the path “to plough”, because he is a ladder that could take you up or take you down. Lucifer can take you to heaven or to hell; it depends how you use his energy. What energy? The energy that is the sexual potency in that donkey, which is your body.

Remember, Elijah-אליהו, which means, “My God is Jah-יה” or, “IAO-יהו is ELI-אלי, my God.” Of course, that Elijah-אליהו that we are talking about represents us, or in other words, is an aspect that each of us have within. So, after we confront Jezebel-איזבל, a symbol of our mind, and Ahab, the messenger of Jezebel-איזבל and a symbol of our intellect, Elijah-אליהו invokes Jehovah or Eheieh the fire of Yehidah-יחידה in order to make the sacrifice.

This sacrifice is written in the chapter 19 of the first book of Kings.

Ahab-אחאב, the intellect tells Jezebel-איזבל, our mind, what Elijah-אליהו did. He showed the people of Israel how they should go up towards heaven in the self-realization.

“And Jezebel-איזבל sent a messenger unto Elijah-אליהו, saying, So let the Elohim-אלהים do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.” - 1Kings 19:2

Jezebel-איזבל is queen of all that we have in our mind. Who is the queen of your body? It is your mind, and her messenger is Ahab-אחאב, your intellect.

So, Jezebel-איזבל says, go tell Elijah-אליהו that tomorrow, at this time, I will do the same thing that he did against the prophets of Baalim-בעלים. And I don't care if the Elohim-אלהים add more karma to me; sadly, this is what happens to any one of us.

Our mind, the protoplasmic elements that we have within which belong to nature that evolved from the mineral kingdom to the plant and animal kingdoms and eventually to the intellectual kingdom... all of that belongs to nature. The body that you have belongs to nature. It is a gift given to you.

Your mind also belongs to nature, and that is Jezebel-איזבל.

We serve nature and nature is going to fight with all of its strength in order to keep you from entering into your own self. We have to conquer nature.

That is why it is difficult to become a human being made into the image of God, dominating nature with the four elements. For that you have to fight against those forces that make you a robot, mechanical, that make you to identify with nature and the universe.

This is not a fight against certain groups or certain beliefs: you have to fight against yourself. You have to live the Mahabharata.

Nobody can help you except God, if you remember him. If you lose your remembrance of your inner being you are lost. That is why the first commandment says:

buddha bowl

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.” - Exodus 20:4

Be honest with yourself and answer, how many graven images, how many idols, do you have in your mind between yourself and God? If many, how is that force of God going to come into you? We need to be like the empty bowl that the Buddha holds; we need to open ourselves up to the presence of God. The idols that obscure the presence of God are not outside of us; they are within, in our mind.

The one that places us on the path knows very well; he is our own particular Cherub-כרוב. When Elijah-אליהו shared what Jezebel-איזבל said, she was afraid and went into the wilderness. That is a symbol of what you have to do in order to enter into the path. You have to confront yourself. It is written:

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.” - Luke 4:1,2

As Elijah-אליהו (likewise Jesus) remembering his own God and recognizing that he has to die, it is written:

“But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Iod-Havah-יהוה, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.” - 1Kings 19:4

Elijah-אליהו requested for himself that he might die, over anything.” Understand, he is not talking about physical death, but psychological death.

The same thing happened with Jesus. He went to the river Jordan and was baptized. When the Holy Spirit entered into him, in the form of a white dove, what happened after that? He is taken into the wilderness and tempted by the devil. The holy spirit took him into the wilderness to be tempted. That wilderness symbolizes life. When you decide to walk on the path of the self-realization of your being, then you have to be initiated and the first step is to work with the waters.

In every religion, you always find that the first step to enter into the path is to be baptized, and that the symbol of baptism is always related with the waters.

If we go into the Tree of Life, we find that the waters are related with the sephirah Yesod. Now, remember that we are talking here about the Tetragrammaton, which obviously is also related with the four elements. The first one is Yesod-יסוד; after Malkuth-מלכות-earth is Yesod-יסוד-water. That is the first step.

Malkuth-מלכות-earth is Yesod-יסוד-water, Hod-הוד-fire, Netzach-נצח-air, or Luke, Matthew, Mark, John.

Within Yesod-יסוד, which is the 9th sphere according to Dante Alighieri, he found Lucifer. This is not a spiritual entity but the sexual force. The energy of the sexual force is within the waters; the waters are the seminal sexual force, the semen, the sperm. In gnosticism, we know that both men and women both have semen, the sexual waters within. Obviously, in the feminine waters instead of having zoosperms, we find ovums.  The two polarities are there.

Within those two forces, the ovum and the sperm, is where you find the image which in Hebrew is called, Tzalem-צלם. The power of creation is what we need, not only to remember God, but to give strength to the pineal gland.

When you study endocrinology, you find that the pineal gland is related with the sexual glands.

The hormones of the pineal gland, help with the development of the sexual organs and hormones of the sexual organs help the development of the pineal gland.

The pineal gland is the seat of the soul and the stronger your pineal gland, the stronger your remembrance of God and the awakening of your consciousness.

Behold, the secret of circumcision which means the cutting of the bestial sexuality and the birth of a spiritual sexuality, and that is precisely the point of baptism. Many people celebrate baptism in their religions, yet, when they marry, they do not practice and perform that baptism in reality; we have to baptize ourselves in the waters of sexuality, since water is the creative element. Remember:

Adam in the Image and likeness

“And the Spirit of Elohim (better said, the Cherub-כרוב of Elohim Gibor-אלהים גבור) hovered upon the face of the waters (of Yesod-יסוד).” - Genesis 1:2

The ordeal of water represents having to adapt to a new situation. That is the first step: to adapt to a new life. You have to renounce your old life. What is that renunciation? The bestial life that everybody has, because we come from the kingdom of the beast, the animal kingdom and we want to enter into the kingdom of the human being.

The beast fornicates. We enjoy the sexual act as a beast, and that beast is within.

When we are born, we receive the mark of the beast because we are born through fornication, which means through the orgasm, which is natural in the kingdom of the beast. When we enter into this path, we receive the commandment: you shall not eat from that fruit. The initiator says to Adam and Eve, if you know how to handle that fruit, you will become like Elohim, knowing good and evil. Before that, Jehovah tells them you shall not eat from the fruit which is the fruit of sexuality.

Adam and Eve represents the initiation through Lucifer, and they bite the apple. By biting the apple, they don't enter into the kingdom of the human being, but the Kingdom of the beast, because only the beasts eat of the fruit of sexuality.

The human being transmutes that force, the sexual force of Lucifer, and never releases, never gives up that energy. The effort to retain and to sublimate that force is the supreme effort that we have to make in order to change the habits of our life, and to enter into another level of development. This is precisely the secret of tantra, the ordeal of water.

The one that controls the forces of Yesod-יסוד, the forces of the waters of sexuality, is Lucifer. Lucifer is the sexual strength, which the Bible calls Cherub-כרוב. Cherub-כרוב means, “the strong one who ploughs.” The sexual strength is given by Lucifer.

It is said that Lucifer gave the apple to Eve. In the Bible, Eve represents the sexual organs and Adam is the brain. Eve is the mother of the living and this is because the mother of the living is the sexual organs, because through the sexual organs is how we come to be. We come from the genitals of our father, we penetrate in the genitals of our mother and in nine months our body develops and finally we come out. That is Yesod-יסוד, and the one that does all of that is Lucifer.

In the animal kingdom, Lucifer is the one multiplies, and gives the instinctual sexual appetite to the beasts. Everybody has that Eve that offers the apple. What is that Apple? When you study the energies in the plant kingdom, you discover that the creative energy that goes through your sexual organs is the creative energy that passes through the apple tree.

AdamEveRaphael

“The apple tree symbolizes the sexual force of Eden. When humanity ate of the prohibited fruit, they were cast out of paradise. The angel who governs all the elementals of the apple tree has the power to close our spinal chambers if we eat of the prohibited fruit.

When man violated the laws of the Lord Jehovah, the elemental angel of this tree closed the sacred chambers of our spinal column and cast us out of Eden, where the rivers of the pure waters of life flow with milk and honey.

The flaming sword of the elemental angel of the apple tree turns in all directions within the flames that guard the door of paradise.

The door of Eden is sex. Eden is sex itself.

All the doors are closed to the unworthy, except the door of repentance.

Even if a human being would proclaim penitence, if he would fast and cover his body with sackcloth, this alone would not permit him to enter into Eden. Even if a human being were to study all the wisdom of heaven and earth, this alone would not permit him to enter into Eden.

Entering into Eden is only possible through one door, the door from which we departed. The human being departed from paradise through the door of sex. Therefore, we can re-enter paradise only through this door.

The entire secret is found in the lingam-yoni of the Greek mysteries. The great secrets of the universal fire of life are contained within the union of the phallus and the uterus. There must be a sexual connection, but the semen must not be ejaculated.

The refrained desire will transmute the semen into light and fire. The refrained desire will fill our sacred chalice with the sacred wine of light.” - Igneous Rose by Samael Aun Weor

Listen, the sexual force that passes through the apple tree is pure, chaste. That is why it is written you shall not eat of that fruit which means you shall not waste that energy like a beast.

In plants the energy is transmuted and that is why you find beautiful plants, full of light and perfume among the flowers and trees. However, in the animal kingdom, we find that the animals smell bad, because, instead of transmuting that force as the plants do, they animals releases it, in order to procreate. That is why you see that many beings in the past that were very chaste smelt like flowers. We need to use deodorant because we are not chaste.

When it says that Lucifer gave the apple to Eve, it means that the force of the sexual strength is given to the couple in order to perform the sexual act. If the sexual organ experiences the orgasm, that is symbolically represented by the consciousness biting the apple. The result of that is the releasing of the energy and after that, the brain receives the outcome of that. What is that outcome? It is that Adam (the brain) degenerates and, instead of being born a human being with knowledge about Kether-כתר, about God, what is born is Cain-קין.

No matter what you believe or read, you will not enter into your own particular heaven so long as you remain wasting that force, spilling the seed, biting that apple of the Tree of Knowledge. The only energy that creates is the sexual force. That is why the first ordeal is the ordeal of the water.

Of course, we experience that ordeal again and again, in different levels. The first step that all the great masters have to pass is related precisely with the waters. And, from the water they continue…

In any religion, you receive the baptism and then you continue in that religion, but that baptism that you receive is just a symbol, the real initiation begins when you get married, because between man and woman, between Adam and Eve is where Lucifer is.

Remember that when Eve bites the fruit, she then gives it to her husband. People think that it is the woman given to the man… no. It is the sexual organ, Eve, who gives it to the brain, and this represents the performing of the sexual act. Adam and Eve are in each one of us, whether we are male or female. That is precisely the mystery of the two polarities, the psychological and tantric work.

Tantra means ceremony, it is ritual that we have to perform. Of course, this implies different forces that we have to manage, all the elements of nature because remember that HaAdam, the man that is created in the image of God is not an animal. Adam controls the Kingdoms. Adam dominates the birds of heaven, the beasts of the Earth. That is something individual, internal, because we have those elements within.

It is written that after Elijah-אליהו confronts himself, an angel comes to him when he is in the wilderness trying to hide him from Jezebel-איזבל, who wants to kill him. Jezebel-איזבל is inside of us. By working with God is how we defeat Jezebel-איזבל, because the mind is strong. Many initiates that enter into this path, abandon the path. Why? Because of Jezebel-איזבל. That is the only reason. You can give to that mind many different names, but it is always Jezebel-איזבל; you can call it the pharaoh, if you want or king Herod, regardless it is always the same.

After that ordeal of water passes, then the Logos, the word of God asks Elijah-אליהו, “What are you doing here Elijah-אליהו?” The question is to everyone of us: what are you doing in this life? What is your purpose of life? When you enter the path you have to discover your mission, to discover yourself. That is not easy, but it is always step by step, in the one who is sincerely working in themselves.

Elijah-אליהו decided to talk with God in order to receive help, and went to Mount Horeb, which symbolically represents going up into his own head in the pineal gland, in order to go out of his body consciously. By consciously going out of the physical body, you can go into the higher levels of nature, the higher sephiroth. But, he has to pass the other ordeals.

It is written there in the chapter 19 of the Book of Kings that a strong wind comes when he is in the wilderness, the strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before Iod-Havah-יהיה; but Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the wind. Let us read the following quotation:

Elijah at Horeb or Sinai

“And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before Iod-Havah-יהיה. And, behold, Iod-Havah-יהיה passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before Iod-Havah-יהיה; but Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? And he said, I have been very jealous for Iod-Havah Elohim of hosts-יהיה אלהים צבאות: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away. And Iod-Havah-יהיה said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.” - 1Kings 19:11-15

The wind is Kether-כתר, which is also called the great wind.  The Mayans call him Huracan, which is hurricane. It is said that Kether-כתר is the first manifestation of God, and according to the Popol Vuh it is the wind, but if Iod-Havah-יהיה is not in the wind, then we have to analyze the ordeal of air.

The ordeal of air is related to attachments. When you penetrate into your psychology you find that you have a lot of attachment. The wind comes in accordance with your karma because every ordeal that you have to face is according to what you owe. Karma is that which helps you to face your own destiny, to face your own path; in this case, though the ordeal of air is related with attachment, it will be applied to me according to my karma, and to you in accordance with yours, because each one of us has different karma, destiny. We have different depths, karmically speaking.

You can be attached to your family, and you will suffer if some of your relatives die. Others might not suffer as much, or at all, because they are not attached to their family, maybe they are attached to other things instead. It all depends on what type of attachment you have. Whatever attachments you have is the way that the law will test you, because when you enter into this path you have to know yourself.

You created your own karma, which is yourself. So, therefore facing your karma is knowing yourself; it is becoming cognizant of your reaction towards life. That is why the mountain symbolizes those material elements unto which you are attached. But, then the wind comes and smashes the rocks of that mountain into pieces and you are forced to confront that which you are attached to. Sometimes it is related to poverty, if you are afraid to be poor. If you don't have money to pay rent, to pay your mortgage... So what! Eheieh Asher Eheieh-אהיה אשר אהיה. That is why the first phrase that comes to Elijah-אליהו is, “What are you doing here, Elijah-אליהו?” What is Elijah-אליהו, what does this name mean? It means, “My God is Jah-יה.”

If you realize that, sooner or later, you will lose everything, because when you die physically, you cannot take anything with you, not even your body; everything goes into the ground. “My God is Jah-יה.”

“What are you doing here, Elijah-אליהו, my God is Jah-יה?” Karma is taking everything from me. Who cares?

God will provide. All of the stones of your mountain will be smashed into pieces, and not only once, but many times. You acquire things, and then you will lose them, but this is the way in which you will be tested.

When you read about the life of any prophet, of any master, they are always tested. You have to self-realize yourself, and to realize that God is everything, but if you are afraid because you are going to lose your car, or some other thing that you’re attached to, you cannot progress. Fear is an obstacle we must overcome, and that is why we are tested in the manner in which we are.

This is why it is written there, “and Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the wind.” The wind of karma, the winds that are revealing and testing your attachments, because you created that.

People say, “God is unjust to me; I'm a good person and, look how he's treating me.” Well, the type of suffering that you receive according to the ordeals of air are of your own making. It is not God. If I take a hammer, and hit myself in the head, it is not God that is hitting my head, it is my hand. If I don't know how to handle the rain, and I go and get wet and I don't take precautions, I can get a cold; that's not God who gave me that cold, it is my own actions. If I drink alcohol and I get cirrhosis in my liver, it is not God.

So, everything that we have is our karma. We made it, not God. That is why it is said that God was not in the wind, this is the symbolic meaning of this, yet people always complain and call God unjust.

The Earth in this day and age is passing through different cataclysms, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc. The forces of nature are organizing and manifesting themselves in order to establish normality, and to save the planet. A planet that we are destroying.

Did God create smog? He created beautiful, pure, clean air… yet, we are polluting the atmosphere. And, as a consequence, comes all of these troubles. Then, when a tsunami occurs, people go on to the internet and blame God.

Everything that happens is because we created it. So, we have to handle it.

If we want to be out of that state, if we want to escape our suffering, then we have to work. We have to come to recognize that our suffering is of our own doing, and that we have to deal with our own karma. And, we cannot comprehend our suffering, so long as we keep misplacing blame. Understand: Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the wind, and after the wind came an earthquake.

Iod-Havah-יהיה was also not in the earthquake. So, what is the earthquake? Well, that is the ordeal of the earth.

In life, we have terrible circumstances, and everything is against us and no matter what we do, circumstances are against us. We are paying what we owe, but people always blame God. That is why it stated that Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the earthquake, because if we are taking this path it is because we want to pay what we owe, the karma that we created in this life and previous lives.

Nobody can mock the law. There are some people that say that if you believe in Jesus, the whole law is washed. Yet, Jesus says:

transfiguration william blake

“Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” - Matthew 5:17

This, in order to help us to face our own destiny, our own karma.

If we do not want to face and to overcome our own karma, well, the law will be fulfilled. That is why klipoth exists.

The infra-dimensions, hell, the inferno, even if you do not believe it, is where we go in order to pay what we owe, because we have to learn as consciousness, we have to comprehend the nature of our actions when we come into this world. We can mock the physical laws created by man, but the law of God cannot be fooled, nor avoided.

That is why Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the earthquake, because we created that earthquake. Those earthquakes are our own particular, individual, psychological earthquakes of life, our karma.

In this day and age, there are physical earthquakes in diverse regions. If we study cosmology in relation with Gnosis, we discover why there is a great fault in the Pacific Ocean coast. It is because each one of us is related with it.

Then, it is written that after the earthquake, there was a fire, and that Iod-Havah-יהיה was not in the fire.

Obviously, there is something that we need to comprehend here also, because God is fire. So, what fire are they talking about? It is the fire of criticism, the fire of slander, the fire of hatred.

In this day and age there are many armies that proclaim their actions in the name of God, and then drop bombs on Iraq or on defenseless cities, or on other groups; or, in the name of God, they crash airplanes into buildings. This is all related with fire because fire is related with hatred with anger. Iod-Havah-יהיה is not in that fire.

God was not in the fire but is related with ordeals because Elijah-אליהו faces one ordeal after another, and this is how we have to suffer. We caused much pain in the past by criticizing others, by doing wrong against people. So, as a consequence, in order to pay what we owe, the law of karma brings people against us, to criticize us, hurt us; nobody receives anything that they do not owe. We pay what we owe, and that is the ordeal of fire.

It is very difficult to pass the ordeal of fire, because in these ordeals you have to be patient and serene before the insulter, the accuser. The Buddha Shakyamuni was meditating under the Bodhi Tree, and Mara and her three daughters came to tempt him. But, he was always meditating, comprehending his own karma. He was always going beyond and accepting his own destiny. That is why it is written: love your enemies. It they want to slap you on your right cheek, give them the left; every cause has an effect. If somebody is hurting you you have to understand why. Defend yourself, but without anger. Understand that everything that happens in your life has a cause and that cause is you, nobody else. Do not blame God.

By understanding the law of karma is how we comprehend the different ordeals that we pass.

After the ordeal of fire, a voice of the silence, a subtle voice comes. If you want to experience it and to hear your own particular individual Jah-יה, your own God, well, you have to pass those ordeals, you have to be patient because sooner or later, you'll hear it. That subtle voice will ask you, “What are you doing here Elijah-אליהו?” And you will answer that you are passing through a lot of ordeals; then you will see your inner God when you are out of your physical body.

"And Iod-Havah-יהיה said unto Elijah-אליהו: Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.” Preach! Continue your path. Do not be afraid. Remember me! I am always with you.

This is how we continue on the path.

This is precisely what happened with Jesus. After he passed the ordeals in the wilderness, he began preaching, and more ordeals came, because Lucifer did not leave him there.

Do you want to become one with God? Well, you have to annihilate your ego. You have to die on the cross, in order to finally resurrect. It is the path of death of the psychological animal elements that we have within, related with karma. That is the way of the cross; this is how we are saved. If you read the gospels, you will see that even when you help others, they will crucify you.

Jesus went to the cross and was crucified, and in the same way we have to annihilate all of our negative psychological elements. and to not be attached to anything, even forgiving those that hurt you. Karma is involved in everything:

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." - Luke 23:34

Chariot of fire

All of that is related with our inner development. All of this happened with Elijah-אליהו. A chariot came from heaven and took him out of the earth. That chariot is the Merkabah, the Chariot of fire or bodies created with fire.

Obviously, Elijah-אליהו created those bodies, the Merkabah: the solar astral, mental and causal bodies. These are the bodies that we have to create when we learn how to transmute the sexual force, which is the only energy that creates. We have to ascend into heaven in the same way that Elijah-אליהו did, in the Chariot of fire. That fire is the fire of Kundalini that has to be developed.

This fire is developed through the ordeals, and that is why when you enter into this path the first thing that you learn is that you have to confront your own Cherub-כרוב (Aramaic for “to plough”) your own devils which are within you, that you created.

You have to decide to defeat that, your own ego. If you continue on that path, God will be with you. It is not easy, but it is possible. However, if you forget your God, then it becomes impossible, because what is impossible for a human being is possible for God.

You have to allow God to enter into your life, and this is a matter of working, developing those elements that you need in order for that to enter within you.

Each one of us has his own particular Jah-יה, our own particular Kether-כתר on the Tree of Life, which is inside of us but in potentiality. We need to develop that and that is why this school exists. You have to apply what we teach here to your own self. This is not a matter of belief; the transformation that we need will never occur as a consequence of belief.

You can read all the books that we have here, memorize them, but if you do not apply the techniques, you will not develop anything.

There are many people that know the Bible by memory or profess to having “the power of tongues.” Do you know what the real power of tongues is? It is the capacity to understand what is written in the sacred scriptures, because this is the tongue of God, written with 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. If you want to understand that, you have to develop the power of tongues; if you have the power of tongues, you have the ability to understand the word of God, no matter from which tradition it emerged.

Nowadays, people think that power of tongues is to babble, to speak without making any sense. That is the power of confusion of tongues. Anybody can confusingly utter words. There are many groups that speak incongruently and unintelligibly when they are preaching, and they claim such is the power of tongues...

In Kabbalah, the Holy Spirit is called Binah-בינה which means, “understanding, intelligence,” not confusion of tongues. The Tower of Babel, which symbolically represents the heads of those who do not develop intelligence, can utter all those words with no sense and then claim it is the power of tongues. But, I repeat, when you work in yourself, then you start understanding what is written here, and in all the other sacred books. Then you know how to follow what is written.

Audience: What can you tell us about the law of accidents?

Instructor: Sometimes the law of karma applies to the law of accidents. It happens due to the fact that in this universe, not everybody is awakened. You can be awakened, and be driving your car, fully aware of everything around you, in order for you to not have an accident, right? But, then another person comes along who is not paying attention, who is not doing any spiritual work, maybe they are drunk, or over-tired, and then you are involved in an accident. In such a situation, your karma is being applied, in order to pay what you owe. In such a scenario, if you are working, you may be assisted but the other one has to die in that accident.

You have to understand when you are walking on the path, your consciousness is dealing with your karma. Of course, when you are working spiritually, you begin to exit the mechanicity of life, but other people are not doing the same, and you are in the middle of that. You have to understand that, that is the law of accidents.

There are cases in which fires happen and firemen go to put out that fire. Usually, if people use their common sense, they will stay out of the fire because it is dangerous. But, instead of doing that they go where the fire is because they are asleep, and sometimes they die because of curiosity.

There is a saying that curiosity killed the cat, and most of us are in danger because of curiosity.

Those people that work as firemen help a lot in society, but if they were to ask me to do that job, I would say no, because the law of accidents is working in them and sometimes they die by serving. But, if you want to walk in this path, well, don't be a fireman because you can die accidentally, even by serving others with good intentions.

Of course, if that does happen, they are rewarded because they're doing a service for humanity. If they die they are rewarded with a new body, but it is a waste of time if you die and you have a new body. Imagine how degenerated humanity has become. Do the work right now, with the body you have, because if you lose your body, you have to wait until that body is at least 20 years old, and before that you have to face friends, school and drugs, etc etc etc... all of that, and who knows if you are going to overcome those obstacles; at least now you have experience, you have found the teachings, and you are trying to overcome that. But, as time progresses, and humanity further degenerates, walking the path will become more and more difficult.

Audience: Can you explain about the cycles related with the 108 lives as humanoid?

Instructor: There are 3000 cycles, and in each cycle, we gave 108 lives, in the intellectual animal kingdom.

Each cycle implies the evolution of the soul through the mineral, plant, animal and finally into the humanoid kingdom, wherein we have the opportunity to ascend to a higher level of development, no longer bound by the life-death cycle of Samsara. And, if we fail, well, following our 108 lives in the intellectual animal kingdom, we descend into the infra-dimensions, in order to be cleansed of karma.

As we said, when you reach the level of the humanoid kingdom, you have 108 opportunities to do what you have to do. If you do not, after 108 lives, you enter into devolution in the infra-dimensions, what people call hell. In hell you have to pay what you owe, until your protoplasmic bodies are disintegrated, your ego is disintegrated, and your soul becomes pristine, pure and clean again, in order to initiate another cycle through the kingdoms of nature, in order to again attempt to overcome Samsara.

This is the opportunity that the cosmos gives: 3000 cycles of 108 lives. Before reaching the humanoid kingdom, you pass through thousands of years in the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom.

Audience: What cycle do you think you are at when you get to the human cycle? I am trying to understand the 3,000?

Instructor: It is like a wheel, and you can escape that wheel. How? Thelema. Willpower is the only way. This is what the avatars, the messengers, the prophets all insist.

We are entangled in that vicious cycle of ascent and descent. There are many people that want to escape that cycle, in order to be saved. Saved from what? From the mechanicity of nature. But, they do not know how to do it.

This work is really a fight, because those elements which are related to evolution and devolution are inside of us. We have to destroy them and to create new vehicles. That is what in Christianity is called being “born again” so that we may enter into the kingdom of heaven, which is the kingdom of the true human being.

However, if you do not create those elements, which will be independent from the mechanicity of nature, you cannot escape nature. It is impossible.

Audience: Are the mysteries of the Father the same as the mysteries of the word?

Instructor: The Father is in the world of Malkuth, hidden as an image within the sperm and the ovum. If you want to develop the mystery of the Father, you have to be in chastity, because those mysteries, the image of God develops inside of you when do not release that image. We have to build that image within.

That is is what is called in the Hebrew language, the Tzalem-צלם; the image that is within the Nun-נון.

When you study the Hebrew alphabet, you find that the letter Nun-נון (which in Aramaic means, “fish”) is related with the sperm and the ovum. Within the fish, that sperm and ovum is that Tzalem-צלם, the image of God.

In order to work with it, you have to be swallowed by the whale, which is the fish. Within the fish you develop that. Then, when you are vomited by the whale, it is because you are resurrected.

It comes to my mind what Jesus said, this generation wants a sign but only one sign was given to them, the sign of Jonah, who was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale. In the same way, the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the center of the earth, Malkuth, when you descend into the center of the Earth, into the ninth sphere to work.

It is easy to be swallowed by the whale, to go into the center but to get out is difficult.

To be vomited, to resurrect, to become a new creature, a mutant, a superman or superwoman is very difficult.

To descend to the Center of the Earth is to descend within your own sexual force and to work with it; it is deciding to stop losing the energy. It is making the effort to transmute, saving it in order to create that within, to build that image, that Tzelem within.

But of course, the forces of nature will fight against you. Your lust is the first one, and not only inside of you, but outside, in the internet, television through different ways. Lust is everywhere. To fight against that you need a lot of Thelema. Nobody can help you but God.

That image of God is in your sexual energy, because God is the force that creates. The rest of the mysteries of God will develop inside of you relative to your transmutation. Then you discover the laws of creation, and who you really are. It is a long path.

Audience: What means “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani” in Mayan language?

Instructor: When he says, “Eli, Eli, Lama Sabachthani” which is translated as, “My God, my God, why are you forsaking me?” Jesus spoke Maya, and Maya is similar to Hebrew. Indeed, the fact is that the Hebrew language, Arabic language, Chinese, Latin, Greek languages all come from that one root.

The Nahua, which is the language of the Aztecs and the Maya of the Americas, comes from the same root that was spoken in Atlantis, which was the language Watan. Watan is the root of all the languages of the world. That is why when you study the different languages of the world you find similitudes in certain phrases.

The great universal flood that is written about in the Bible is related with the sinking of Atlantis. The word Atlantis in Nahua is Atl, which means “water.” When we say Atlantic, we are naming the name of that ocean which is water, right? Further, Tlaloc is the god of water; Teotl is God in Nahua, and in Greek it is Theos.

According to the Nahuas, the God who held the world was Atlanteotl, which is similar to the Atlas of Greek mythology. Atl is the same root.

When you experience that directly in meditation, in the akashic records, then you discover that Atlantis existed, and is the root of all the present civilization.

Audience: Tell us about the significanse of 40?

Instructor: All the Hebrew letters have different numbers or values, and the value of the letter Mem, which is the letter M in the Latin alphabet, is 40. The letter Nun-נ, has the value of 50. When you find certain numbers written there, you have to associate those numbers with the letters in order to discover what is esoterically being implied.

You find the number 40 implies the letter Mem, which is water. Then, you know, you can understand what you are reading otherwise, you get lost. Of course, on the website, we have a course related with the 22 Arcana of the Tarot. In each Arcanum, you find the letter related with it and the explanation of that.

I have a friend who says that he dedicates one month to each letter, in order to understand it. That is 22 months. The 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are the letters with which this book, the Bible, was written.

Remember that what we read in English is nothing other than a translation from the original Hebrew. Thus, every single word written in Hebrew has a healing wisdom.

You should know how to read. Most of the translations are made for people that do not understand the mysteries, that do not understand even a little bit of Hebrew. And, indeed, we can also say that those who translated these texts from the Hebrew, did not fully understand them either.

One of the great mistakes that these translators made can be found in the very first few words of the Bible, where they translated the Hebrew word Elohim as “God.” This is an incorrect translation. In Hebrew, the word for God is El,  and Eloah is Goddess. This word Elohim, which we find in the beginning of the Bible, in Hebrew actually means, “Gods and Goddesses.”

When the Bible says, “In the beginning,” in Hebrew this is written as, Bereshith Bara Elohim. Remember: Elohim means, “Gods and Goddesses.” It is not singular, it is plural. However, the translators were afraid of that the people would stop believing in the one God, so they used the word God, when they should have translated it as, “Gods and Goddesses.”

This word Elohim indicates the multiplicity within the unity, because Elohim is the multiple perfect unity.

Audience: Tell us about Berasheeth?

Instructor: There are many interpretations of that Berasheeth. If you count, there are 6 letters and it is related with the letter Vav, which is the 6th letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The letter Vav is the mystery between the knowable and the unknowable, the two forces.

In the beginning, the wisdom of the Elohim created the Heaven and the Earth.
