Dear instructors,

i have been fasting for a long time now and im very pleased with the results. it keeps me super mindful during the day ,
silents the ego s /mind and i have a lot of clairvoyant dreams.

The problem is im getting really skinny so i started eating again to gain weight . Im undergoing some troubles controlling the mind.
Old ego s are almost screaming to get some attention , and sometimes i totally loose myself in some fantasie.
im also having the same "ego" dreams before i began too fast. So i feel im not really progressing any more..

questions:

is it possible that that i am feeling this way because of me pleasing the body with food ?

is it possible to annihilate the ego s true fasting or am i just managing them ?

Should i see this as a test, and control the body n mind, with food and without/less food ?

Thanks in advance and forgive my bad english

Fasting can be useful for certain rituals or treating certain ailments, but otherwise fasting is unnecessary and can even be harmful, distracting, debilitating, etc.

We recommend that you eat a healthy diet to keep your body strong. Good physical health is the basis of good psychological and spiritual health. When you starve the body, everything else weakens, too.

The only useful and important way to fast is to starve the ego of its food, which is entirely psychological.
