Kali Yuga

Literally, "the black era." Sanskrit काली kali, "black, night, discord, strife" and युग yuga, "age, era, period of time." Tibetan: snigs-ma'i dus, literally "the degenerate age." It is the era of the most suffering, widespread confusion, and black magic.

Our current era. The fourth of the four eras. The black or Iron Age.

"Many civilizations and great cities of wisdom existed in Tibet, and from Tibet, the people established in India and in China, the second subrace of our present Aryan root race. That was the Golden Age. There are many stories of past civilizations and great kings, great masters that existed in that epoch. From China and India, the immigration of people into Chaldaea, Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Jerusalem, created the third subrace. This third subrace of the Aryan Epoch was the Silver Age, and the beginning of the Copper Age. The Aryan civilization started to develop the Iron Age, the Kali Yuga, in the epoch of the Romans and the Greeks. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some (through the Kundalini) to everlasting life, and some (through the Kundabuffer) to shame and everlasting contempt. And they (who awake their consciousness) that are wise (through Chokmah) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they (the Bodhisattvas) that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. But thou, Oh Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end (Kali Yuga): many shall run to and fro, and knowledge (Daath-Gnosis) shall be increased." - Daniel 12:1-4
