Boyfriends and Girlfriends, Chakras, Hydrogens, Mastery, and Alchemy

How Gnostic Boyfriends and Girlfriends Should Behave

I will gladly give an answer.

Unquestionably, boyfriends and girlfriends, should behave as boyfriends and girlfriends; unfortunately, many boyfriends and girlfriends do not behave as such. Since the ego of lust is too strong in this already degenerated humanoid race, even the great arcanum is used as a pretext for their lust and abominations, and this is unfortunate.

In ancient times, the unspeakable secret of the great arcanum was communicated only from lip to ear. In Egypt, those who were given this secret, and divulged it, were sentenced to death: their heads were cut off, their hearts were torn out from their bodies, and thereafter these were burned and the ashes were thrown to the four winds.

Now, we have delivered the great arcanum, on the eve of the great cataclysm that is approaching, with the only purpose of creating human beings; unfortunately, even this is used as a pretext by fornicators to satisfy their lusts; and that is unfortunate.

I understand that the groom must respect the bride. And I also understand that the bride must know how to keep her composure towards the groom. Because one of two: either they are boyfriend and girlfriend, or they are spouses. If they are spouses let them work in the ninth sphere; if they are boyfriend and girlfriend let them keep their composure as such. The great arcanum should not be used as a pretext for their lewdness and abominations; that's it...

I understand that husband and wife, unquestionably, live in freedom; it does not matter by which religion or rite they have been married. The harsh reality is that they live under the same roof, that he fulfills his duties as a head of the family, that she fulfills her duties as head of the house, etc. This is how we understand it.

There is Gnostic marriage, which is of immense esoteric value. I wish the brothers and sisters, for example, would always get married by the Gnostic church, which is the true, authentic marriage.

Well, up to here, what I have said about boyfriends and girlfriends. I think it's clear, right?

Chakras

There is another question here, quite important, related to the vortices or chakras. I certainly don't know which vortex specifically the asking brother is referring to, since there are 72,000 chakras in the human body.

Obviously, the seven most important are located on the dorsal spine. These relate to the seven churches of the apocalypse of Saint John.

The first of these chakras is the coccygeal, which completely controls the sexual functions. That is certainly the church of Ephesus.

The second chakra is the prostate-uterine, which controls the waters of life, the chakra of the seas, the church of Smyrna.

The third chakra is located at the height of the solar plexus. It is the church of Pergamos, the telepathic center or telepathic eye.

The fourth chakra is the church of Thyatira, which is in the heart. Obviously, when it develops, it gives us very beautiful faculties.

The fifth chakra is the church of Sardis, located in the creative larynx. When such a center is developed, it gives us clairaudience.

The sixth chakra is the church of Philadelphia, located between the two eyebrows, in the pituitary gland, which gives us divine clairvoyance.

And the seventh chakra is the church of Laodicea. Behold then here are the seven main vortices.

There are other secondary vortices related to health. The one in the back of the neck, for example, the one on the forehead, or on the nose; the one in the liver; the ones on the knees. They are also important chakras, through which the forces of life enter.

Thus, in order to develop the seven churches, the sacred fire must rise up the dorsal spine. Now, if you want to develop the vortices related to the liver, the knees, the neck (which are purely vital centers), you practice, you work with the sacred dance of the dervishes, that is, the whirling movement of the body as explained in the book “Sacred Rites for Rejuvenation.” In that book I gave the teaching, thus if you study it there you will find it.

So far, then, my clear and precise explanation, in relation to the vortices. To speak at length about this would be equivalent to a lecture with which one could write, not one, but many volumes.

Hydrogens, Centers and Sound

Someone asks me about hydrogens, centers and sound. We have to thoroughly understand this whole question of sound and hydrogens. Unquestionably, the center related to the intellect is obviously directed by hydrogen-12. Unquestionably, the emotional center would be under the rule of 24; and as for the motor center, it is under the rule of 48. The matter of the hydrogens is staggered, in any case.

The impressions that come from the outside world are hydrogen-48. The only thing people perceive are the impressions of objects, of things. Nobody is able to perceive, for example, the self of a person who is in front of him, he perceives only the impression of her body. That is, he receives an impression that is transformed into an image; an image that corresponds to that physical person.

Well, from the outside world we get impressions of different kinds, through sight, hearing, touch, smell, etc., etc., etc. All those impressions are hydrogen-48. Obviously, if we learn to control the mechanical reactions, we transform the hydrogen-48 of those impressions into hydrogen-24, which serves as a nourishment for the astral body.

Now, hydrogen-24 through new esoteric disciplines: through meditation, and study, etc., it can be transformed into hydrogen-12 (which serves to nourish the mental body); and in turn, 12 can be transformed into 6 (which serves as a nourishment for the causal body).

Now, I have to tell you clearly that there is a hydrogen scale based on the seven musical notes (do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-si). And you have to know how to understand what here we wanted to say...

When the sexual impulse is restrained, when the orgasm of organic physiology is carefully avoided, then the sexual hydrogen SI-12 moves to a higher octave and is processed with the notes do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-si (through the medullar canal of the astral specter) and comes thus to crystallize in the splendid and marvelous form of the astral body. Thus, this is how (in the third initiation of major mysteries) the astral body is created or manufactured.

I have never said, in any of my lectures, that there is a need to sing the notes (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, si) during the maithuna, as some Gnostic students have mistakenly told me. The notes of the scale vibrate without us singing them, and even more so, without us thinking about it. It is a purely natural process, which is carried out through sexual transmutation.

When one wants to manufacture the mental body, one has to, in turn, pass the sexual hydrogen SI-12 to a second octave of a higher order. How does one do it? As always: restraining the animal impulse, working on the forge of the cyclops.

The crystallization of the sexual hydrogen SI-12 in a second octave, through the notes do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-si, is splendid and marvelous. And I don't see the need to sing such notes so that sexual hydrogen SI-12 crystallizes in the form of the mental body.

And so, continuing, we come to the causal body. And obviously, a third octave is necessary for sexual hydrogen SI-12 to crystallize (with the aforementioned notes of the scale), in the marvelous and worthy form of the body of the conscious will, of the causal body. But I repeat: I don't see the need to sing such notes in order for the causal to crystallize.

The notes vibrate, by themselves, in all creation. This seems precisely to be what many little Gnostic brothers have not understood.

Now, that there is an exact relationship between the hydrogens and the centers, that cannot be denied.

How could we deny, for example, that the motor center (which belongs rather to the physical body), is so related to the movements of the organic machine, is governed by a heavy hydrogen, 48?

How could we deny, for example, that the emotional center is controlled by hydrogen-24? That no one can deny.

And as for the mental (I already said and it is worth repeating), which is perfectly controlled by hydrogen-12, which is what feeds it. So, the intellectual center receives hydrogen-12. And the causal (which is that of willpower) this is hydrogen-6.

There are much finer hydrogens, naturally there are, right? There has always been talk of the superior existential bodies of the Being. Much has been mentioned about the astral, the mental, the causal, but only in the eastern texts is it clearly spoken about the vehicles of the venerable masters.

For example, the body of the Nirmanakaya, which is the vehicle used by those who have renounced nirvana for the love of humanity, must also be manufactured in the ninth sphere.

Unquestionably, such a vehicle has to vibrate at the highest with the hydrogen-3.

And yet, there are even higher bodies, such as the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Addikaya, they are already bodies of gods, which must also be manufactured in the ninth sphere, vehicles that are sustained by hydrogens-1 and 2; extremely subtle and radiant vehicles.

I have always been amazed, for example, at the body of a Sambhogakaya. It is a body so subtle and so beautiful, so graceful and perfect, that I could not help but be filled with amazement. Little has been said about these vehicles in the Western world. They, the Tibetans, indeed know them deeply...

Listen, any vehicle is made with the sexual hydrogen-SI-12 that is produced in our sex. I could not conceive the making of a vehicle without the activity of the three forces: the first force is the holy affirmation, that is, the masculine force; the second force is the holy denying, that is, the feminine force. And then, a third force is needed to reconcile them both, and that third force is the saintly conciliatory force.

So, for there to be a creation, the three forces are needed to coincide at a fixed point. A single force could not create a vehicle; all the three forces are needed for a creation to arise.

This is very important, and it is necessary to understand it. But I repeat: although the seven notes of the musical scale extend throughout the cosmos in more or less high, more or less low scales, it does not mean that for us to be able to manufacture the superior existential bodies of the being, we need during the maithuna start singing the musical scale. Hope this is understood, let us move on.

How Long it Takes for Evolution and Devolution

Something is being asked about the duration, about the time between the different stages of evolution and devolution. Many would like us to establish fixed norms, chronometric times for each evolutionary process. Many would like us to have the clock in our hand for each devolutionary process.

I have to tell all the brothers and sisters who are so concerned, that the concept of "time" is something too relative; and this was already demonstrated by Einstein. In the world each person carries his own time. There are as many times in the world as there are people; that is clear.

In a minute we can live centuries. There is no doubt that there are minutes that seem like centuries and there are centuries that seem like minutes. In one minute, for example, in the internal worlds, we can live a whole century, or centuries.

When one is very content and very happy, the hours go by without knowing the time.

There are also minutes that become difficult, that seem painful: in the infernal worlds, for example, each minute is too long, each minute seems like an eternity, "time of stones", and that is, in itself, exasperating.

So, time is something very relative. There are people who return instantly after having disincarnated; and there are people who return from time to time, over there every five hundred or thousand, or fifteen hundred years. This varies too much. Each one carries his own life, and each one's life is processed according to how it is formed, according to the laws of karma.

So, I regret not being able to put a fixed time, because there are no fixed times for the different evolutionary stages of a human being; nor are there fixed times for the devolutionary stages of any human being. I can only tell you that elementals evolve through the mineral.

How long will the evolution through the mineral last? Nobody knows! There will be some elementals who are, as they say, "very diligent in study and intelligent and understanding,” who pass quickly through that realm. There are others who will be too slow and who will take a long time in that realm. And there will be others that neither take too long nor happen too quickly.

Thus, "there is everything, as in the pharmacy."

How long do the elementals take in order to evolve in the plant kingdom? Fixed premises could not be established, because there are some elementals more intelligent than others. There are some who take advantage of the "school" and leave the plant kingdom very quickly for the animal kingdom. But there are others that take eternities in the elemental vegetable kingdom.

The same thing happens with animal species: there are evolutionary and devolutional ones. Therefore, it cannot be said how long an elemental will last evolving or devolving in the animal kingdom. There it evolves and devolves incessantly.

And finally elementals enter the humanoid state. What I can assure you is that upon reaching the humanoid state, one is given (with absolute certainty) 108 existences. If you take advantage of them, if you self-realize, great! But if not, if that tree does not bear fruit, if it does not self-realize, then, as the sacred scriptures say:

“Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.” – Matthew 7: 19

If an individual has been taking bodies through 108 existences and was not self-realized, then why are they given more bodies? It has no case.

Now, if someone is not able to disintegrate the psychological ego while in a human body, if he was not able to disintegrate it in the 108 existences, the natural thing for him is to devolve... Fortunately, the divine architect of the universe established the infernal worlds, there he devolves, there he goes through the second death, there the ego is annihilated, until the essence is once again free, happy, blissful.

Obviously, the free essence can re-enter, once again, the scale of the evolutions of nature, which has to be restarted, obviously, from the mineral, which has to continue in the vegetable and continue with the animal, until reconquering the humanoid state that was once lost.

But I am sorry to tell you that there are no fixed times for the evolutions or devolutions of creatures. There are fixed times in another sense, for example: we know that there is a sidereal year that last approximately 24,968 years. What is meant by "sidereal year"? The time the sun spends in going around, with its procession of worlds, the entire zodiac; it has to go through all the twelve zodiacal signs: between constellation and constellation it takes about 2,160 years and its fractions. Thus, that is a sidereal year, there one can speak of fixed times; that each sidereal year has four macrocosmic seasons in the universe. There is a great spring, which is nothing other than the golden age, for each race; there is a silver age that corresponds to summer; there is a copper age that corresponds to autumn; and there is an iron age that corresponds to winter. Each race, then, that springs into existence has its golden age, its silver age, its copper age, and its iron age; or in other words, its spring, its summer, its autumn and its winter. Our race, the current fifth root race, had its golden age, to which so many poets sang after the submersion of Atlantis. Then it had its silver age, then its copper age, and now we are in the iron age, on the eve of the great cataclysm that is approaching. 

A golden age could not arise if the egos, the “I’s”, were not destroyed. I could not conceive of a humanity of light, splendor and beauty, made by the egos. It just seems absurd to me. I don't think that with people (like the ones we currently have) full of anger, greed, lust, envy, pride, laziness, gluttony, etc., etc., etc., and so many other weeds, come on to be able to build the new era.

It seems to me that what I affirm is not a simple utopia: that the new age, the golden age, the new Satya yuga, the new root race, will appear after the totality of this humanity is destroyed.

Now, if all of humanity, by a most wise miracle, were capable of annihilating the ego, there would be no need for the great catastrophe either; that's obvious. But since humanoids cannot (so far they have shown), nature has to intervene with its apocalypse.

All this process of destruction of this root race will be carried out through a collective apocalypse. The first, the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, and the sixth seals have already been torn, only the seventh seal remains to be torn. When this happens, the Earth, all of it, will have gone through a process of total disintegration. In other words, our world will go through a process of planetary disintegration and reintegration.

Our planet will pass through tremendous geological convulsions and this humanity will perish, because it has ego. A humanity with ego could not go to inititate a new age of light, splendor, and beauty. In order to form a new golden age, innocent and pure beautiful creatures devoid of ego, devoid of perversity are needed.

I cannot conceive a golden age made up of people who have the ego inside. That would be patently stupid.  So that is my answer ...

Death and Conception

Now, we need to clarify why the last moments of a dying person correlate, or are combined with the amorous delights of the lovers, and with that process of conception, which is different.

I am not stating that the last moment of life is to prepare the future existence. I have never said that. What I have said is that "the last moments of the dying one are correlated, combined with the amorous delights of those who will conceive his new body in the future." Simply because death and birth are compaginated.

We can see, for example, that night comes on one side of the Earth and day is born on the other side.

There is a correlation between death and life. “If the grain does not die, the plant does not grow”. But affirming this does not mean that I am saying that one with the last moment of his death is preparing the future existence.

So, I clarify again to avoid confusion in the brothers and sisters. I repeat: the last moments of every dying person are correlated with the amorous delights of those (man and woman) who will serve as parents, who will conceive his physicality in the future. I also say: that at the time of death we project a design (in the internal worlds) of our personality.

There is no doubt that this electro-psychic design (much later, through time) comes to crystallize in the fertilized egg; and thus, our new body, our new figure, very much in accordance with the one we have had in the present, comes to be constituted; that is all.

See, then, how long a distance, and how great a difference there is, then, between what some brothers and sisters have understood and what I have said. Those who have understood that with the last moment we prepare the next existence, they are wrong.

Also, keep in mind that, after all, life is life itself. There is talk of successive lives, but really what there is, is a single life. What happens is that when we die, we return to the starting point of this life. Returning to this world we repeat the same life. It is like someone who has a film and projects it on a screen: after it has been projected, he keeps it and takes it away; and later, if he wants, he shows it again, but the film is the same.

There will be many existences, but life is the same. One takes it and brings it back and always repeats the same thing. That is why the important thing is to transform our own life.

The person who does not transform his own life is miserably wasting his time. Because he will have to repeat it, over and over, and over and over again; and when he reaches the 108th, if he has not transformed it, he will go with his life to devolve among the infernal worlds, there his dear life will disintegrate, since he was not capable of transforming it.

It is therefore interesting that we make a masterpiece of our life, that we transform it.

I repeat, I clarify, there are many existences, 108 for everything, but life is always the same. What we are living today, we lived in a past existence and in a prior to that one, and we will live it in future existences if we do not transform ourselves.

And one could not transform his life if one did not eliminate the basic factors that produce it. What are those factors? The egos; call them anger, call them greed, lust, envy, pride, laziness, gluttony, etc., etc., etc. Those such egos, those undesirable psychic factors are the ones that produce the dramas, the scenes, comedies, and even horrifying tragedies, which are repeated through the innumerable centuries.

Thus, the brothers and sisters who are not working their own lives are miserably wasting their time. And they are not working their own lives, those who are not destroying the various elements that make up their psychological ego. So far, my explanations.

Who Becomes a Master

Samael Aun Weor: Something is being asked of me in relation to the question of master's degree. They want me to explain why there are monads that don't want to become masters. In the world we have the concrete, exact answer: not all peons, let's say, want to be managers; or not all masons want to be masters; or not all the people of a city want to be teachers of pedagogy. There are soldiers who would like to be officers. But there are soldiers who would like to retire from the army.

Thus, freedom begins with God. If I didn't respect the freedom of a god, then where would free choice be? Thus, there are monads that have no desire to reach adepthood, mastery. why should one go and force them?

There are monads that prefer to withdraw from the cosmic stage without mastery. They do not want to shoulder that responsibility and prefer to retire. Such monads are dedicated exclusively to the dissolution of the ego, they do not manufacture the superior existential bodies of the being. And finally, when they manage to annihilate the ego completely, they submerge themselves within the bosom of the great reality without mastery.

To be a master, it is necessary to manufacture the superior existential bodies of the Being, it is necessary to sacrifice oneself for humanity and dissolve the ego. But those who, clearly, dissolve the ego and do not manufacture the superior existential bodies of the Being, are left without mastery. It is obvious that these are monads that are not interested in mastery, that do not want to become adepts.

In the ancient Egypt of the pharaohs, this teaching that I am giving was explained to the people. I remember the case of a subject X (it doesn't matter who) proposed, well, to free himself and that's all, to withdraw from the cosmic scenario, and he succeeded. While he lived, he dedicated himself to dissolving the ego. While it is true that he did not achieve absolute enlightenment, at least he made great strides in eradicating the various elements that make up the ego.

And after his death he was subjected to terrible tests: the hurricane of the law did not make him tremble with terror; the interior storms did not make him seek shelter either; if he had proceeded like this he would have fallen into any womb. The tenebrous ones did not make him pale with horror; if he had looked for some place to hide, obviously he would have fallen into a new womb; he knew how to remain serene: when he saw many couples copulating, he felt neither sympathy nor antipathy.

From the temple he was helped a lot. In the end his father-mother subjected him to terrible tests and came out triumphant. So, he entered a wonderful kingdom, there he was welcomed by many gods.

His Divine Mother helped him to dissolve the ego. Lastly, he plunged into the bosom of the universal spirit of life, forever.

In the future, if he wants, he can return. If he did so, he would be in the future golden age, not in this dark age.

In ancient Mexico, many people proceeded in the same way and immersed themselves in the Tlalocan, that is, in the kingdom of Tlaloc. And those, those who proceeded in this way, will be able to take physicality, if they want, in the future golden age, after the great cataclysm that is approaching.

But there are others who simply never take a body again because they are not interested in mastery. They have preferred to remain as simple elementals of nature among the universal spirit of life, and forever.

So not all human beings want mastery. There are few who yearn for the intimate self-realization of the Being. And many of those who yearn for it, well, do not achieve it, because they do not develop, let us say, the sufficient capacity for understanding to remain firm on the path of the razor's edge. So far this explanation.

Difference Between Vajroli Mudra and Sahaja Maithuna

Clarifications should be made if there is a fundamental difference between the Vajroli Mudra and the Sahaja Maithuna. Obviously, through Vajroli we manage to transmute the sperm into energy, and that in itself is wonderful. Undoubtedly, such creative energy in some way reinforces the power of the Divine Mother kundalini. She can, thus be reinforced, in order to disintegrate the psychic aggregates that personify our psychological errors.

However, no one could create the superior existential bodies of the Being through the Vajroli mudra. It is good to know that man, in himself, expresses only one force: the holy affirmation. Woman is the expression of the second force: the holy denying. There is a third force that is the saintly conciliation. For any creation to be, for the superior existential bodies of the Being to be created, it is essential that the three forces (positive, negative and neutral) combine mutually. Such a combination is only possible during sexual intercourse. That is why only with the Sahaja Maithuna can the superior existential bodies of the Being be created.

Vajroli is different: the basic purpose of Vajroli is to convert sperm into energy. A man who is working with the Vajroli will transmute the sperm into energy; a woman who is working with Vajroli will transmute her sexual secretions into energy. Those who work with the Vajroli will be able to use their energy, and reinforce with it the power of their Divine Mother, and she, thus, reinforced, will disintegrate defects. Those who work with the Vajroli will no longer be able to create the superior existential bodies of the Being. Obviously, with a single force no creation of any kind can be performed.

The psychic aggregates that personify our errors can be eliminated during the sahaja maithuna; they can also be removed during the Vajroli mudra.

However, the Vajroli should never be confused with the maithuna: in the Vajroli there is transmutation; in the maithuna not only there is transmutation but also the superior existential bodies of the Being can be created. It is possible during Vajroli to eliminate errors, as it is during maithuna. Although it is true that during the maithuna there is more power: obviously three forces are more powerful than one. However, nobody could create the existential bodies with the Vajroli, but exclusively with the maithuna.

Now, in more advanced stages, when the initiate has passed beyond sex, his Divine Mother has become very fortified, and then already she will be able to eliminate errors herself, during the initiate's meditation, even if one is not working with the maithuna nor with the Vajroli. But that belongs to a higher stage of the Being. Remember that "there are degrees and degrees, scales and scales"...

In any case, I clarify the following: if the sperm is not transmuted in some way, it devolves, degenerates, and turns in some individuals into fat, into lard. You see cases like those of the inquisitorial monks of the Middle Ages: some too fat, others terribly skinny; full of extreme fanaticism, and expert cynicism to a high degree. That is the outcome of the devolution of the sperm.

Whoever does not transmute their sexual secretions is charged with terribly malignant poisoninoskirian vibrations, the result of which is the development of the abominable Kundabuffer organ, which would, in fact, turn us into wicked demons of any kind without remedy.

Thus, it becomes necessary to transmute. But I clarify: do not confuse functions, do not attribute to the Vajroli, the capacities to create, because the Vajroli cannot create. No one could create their superior existential bodies of Being with the Vajroli. Any creation is only possible between man and woman. To eliminate, yes, one can eliminate during Vajroli just as it can be eliminate during maithuna. But there are superior forces for elimination during the maithuna.

The Vajroli is only for single men and women, if they don't want to degenerate, if they don't want their sexual secretions to devolve, if they don't want to be charged with poisoninoskirian vibrations, they need to transform the sperm into energy, and of course, the Vajroli is good for that. That the Vajroli reinforces the elimination power of the Divine Mother, is correct. But from there to it being said that with Vajroli the superior existential bodies of the Being can be created, there is a great distance. So far, then, this explanation; and that is all.

Jachin and Boaz

Student: In Colombia, in order to enter a temple, we ask for the passwords, namely, “Jachin and Boaz” but I understand that it is pronounced “yakín”, please clarify this?

Samael Aun Weor: With great pleasure I am going to answer this question that our dear brother F. V. has asked us. Any initiate knows that the word “jachin” is not pronounced as it is written; it is said “yakin” (that is, y, a, k, i, n, yakín) and “boaz”. Yakin and Boaz, here are the two columns of the temple. So, let the brothers get rid of the bad habit of saying "jachin", it's "yakín"...

The Light of Genesis and Alchemy

Some little brothers and sisters ask me about something in relation to that phrase from Genesis which says:

“Let there be light and there was light.” – Genesis 1: 3

First of all, I must tell those who ask this, that Genesis is not from the past. Genesis is to live it from moment to moment, and it does not correspond to the past only. Those who want to self-realize must live Genesis in themselves, here and now.

Since this is going to need a good explanation, I am going to do it with great pleasure, but in a rough way, because if I wanted to explain to you in depth, carefully the book of Genesis, well, frankly, I would have to write a thick volume of alchemy; well, this is because the entire Genesis belongs to sexual alchemy. It is written in Genesis:

“In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the abyss and the Spirit of Elohim was hovering upon the face of the waters.” – Genesis 1: 1-2

What earth is Genesis referring to here? Simply to our own philosophical earth, to our own pysicality, and to our own (formless and void) interior world.

When one begins the great work, all is in darkness; everything is in disorder within oneself; “and darkness is on the face of the abyss” (in the submerged abysses of oneself). “and the spirit of god, therefore, moves on the face of the waters.” To what water does the genesis refer to? Well, to the spermatic waters of the first instant...

"And God said, 'Let there be light!' and there was light." Difficult thing by the way: to make the light. One has to grasp the light from the darkness. The first secret is precisely the one from the abyss. Because the initiate has to descend to the infernal worlds, to extract the light from the darkness. And everything in the abyss is full of disorder.

This belongs to the first day, let us say, of creation. “and god saw that the light was good and separated the light from the darkness”: that is the first thing to do, that is the first part of the work in the great work.

“Then God called the light day, and the darkness he called night”; and that was the evening and the morning of a day”: and that is the first day of the great work, since there are seven days of the great work. Each of these seven days is a period of time; and in the eighth comes the resurrection...

“And Elohim said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And Elohim made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And Elohim called the firmament Heaven, and it was evening and the morning the second day.”- Genesis 1: 6-8

The waters above must be separated from the waters below. That is clear in the book the Emerald Tablet of Hermes, which states:

“Separate that spirituous earth from the dense or crude by means of a gentle heat, with much attention. In great measure it ascends from the earth up to heaven, and descends again, newborn, on the earth, and the superior and the inferior are increased in power. By this wilt thou partake of the honors of the whole world. And Darkness will fly from thee. This is the strength of all powers. With this thou wilt be able to overcome all things and transmute all what is fine and what is coarse.” - Emerald Tablet by Hermes

So, then, you have to know how to understand this: “and Elohim said let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and separate the waters from the waters. And Elohim made the firmament and separated the waters that were below the firmament from the waters that were above the firmament, and it was so. And Elohim called the firmament heavens; and it was evening and morning the second day.”

This is precisely what belongs to the second period or second great day of the great work: one has to separate the upper waters, that is, the metallic soul of the sperm, to separate it from the sperm itself through transmutation. That is called: “separating the upper waters from the lower ones.” Since all the great work is done with the superior waters.

The lower ones are called in alchemy "azoth", which is nothing else than the sperm, raw azoth, the counterpart of that sperm is the metallic soul, and this is then what we can call: "mercury ” (the upper waters). That belongs, I repeat, to the second great day of the great work.

“And Elohim said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together (by אל El) unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And Elohim called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and Elohim saw that it was good.” – Genesis 1: 9, 10

Obviously, this corresponds to another step of the great work.

“And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his (זרע zera - sex) kind: and God (אל El - Christ) saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.” Genesis 1: 11-13

This is the work that already corresponds to the astral body, because it is in the astral body where one (the Monad, the Innermost, or אל El, God) begins to work, directly, as a seed (after his - זרע zera – sex or kind). That is why "seed" is mentioned, to instruct us (alchemically) ...

It is with this seed that one must work, and this already belongs to the astral body. Which is referred as “and let the dry land appears,” when (אל El) Christ already arises in the astral body; when already that astral body in oneself, let us say, is worked and converted into pure gold.
