Israel's Entrance into Nukva (2), The Promised Land
Let us synthesize what we taught in Israel's Entrance into Nukva (1) in order to kabbalistically comprehend the mystery of Israel and all of his components or archetypes which are kabbalistically described by Moses in the Hebrew language through the different stories or myths described in his books.
The word mythology derives from the Greek word Μυθολογία mythologia "legendary lore, a telling of mythic legends; a legend, story, tale, words from unknown origin, " from Μυθο mythos "myth" (of unknown origin) + - λογία logia, logy, logos "words." Remember that we, Gnostics, know or understand that all the sacred books contain myths, which are mythical legends related to Aeons, enlightened masters, of the tree of life.

The mythology of the Hebrew bible contains indeed דברים עדן תעלומות Debarim Eden Thalomoth, “mysterious paradise words,” which are intimately related to Daath דעת, the science of alchemy. We, Gnostics, not only study Hebrew mythology but all types of religious mythology that relate to kabbalah and alchemy, the two sciences of the consciousness. Therefore, the books of Genesis, Exodus, and the rest of books written by Moses are symbolic. It is absurd to read them literally, or to try to explain or interpret them literally.
“In Kabbalah, everything is numbers and mathematics. The number is holy, is infinite. In the universe everything is measurement and weight. For the Gnostics, God is a Geometrist. Mathematics are sacred. No one was admitted into the school of Pythagoras if they were not knowledgeable about mathematics, music,etc. Numbers are sacred.” - Samael Aun Weor
The whole Hebrew bible is written with twenty-two Hebrew characters, twenty-two letters. Each letter is a symbol, an archetype, related with the sacred language. The Bible is called “the Word of God.” But this word of God is not written in English, nor Spanish, nor Italian, but Hebrew, which is a language derived from the sacred language. Each Hebrew letter has its meaning, which we already explained in the course The Twenty-two Arcana.
As we explained in the previous lecture, “Israel” is an archetype, a symbol that encloses many archetypes. Israel is an archetype that we have to unfold within ourselves.
To explain the mysteries of the name Israel and all of its components, we always refer to the Tree of Life. Remember that the Tree of Life is made of ten sephiroth. These are the symbols or synthesis of all of the archetypes that we have to develop, because they are many. We cannot give the description of all of the archetypes because it will be impossible, since they are related with the superior dimensions, and they are spiritual, as well as psychic forces.
The Hebrew Letters and the Sephiroth
The ten sephiroth of the Tree of Life are from top to bottom: Kether, Chokmah, Binah, Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth.
When we study the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet under the light of alchemy, we find that the first triangle, Kether, Chokmah, Binah, which we call the Logoic triangle, is made by three primary energies, which in Christianity are called the Holy Trinity, or the tri-unity—three forces in one. In the Hebrew alphabet, these three primary forces are represented by the three mother letters: א Aleph, ש Shin, and מ Mem. The letter Aleph symbolizes air and is represented in the sephirah Kether. Shin symbolizes fire, and is represented in the sephirah Chokmah. Mem symbolizes water and is represented in the sephirah Binah.
Below the first triangle of the Tree of Life we find seven sephiroth which in Kabbalah are named the Zeir Anpin, which means “lesser countenance, small face” and emanate from that mysterious sephirah below the first triangle, the mysterious sephirah Daath דעת which means “knowledge.” These seven sephiroth Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth are represented by seven of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, namely: Resh, Peh, Tav, Kaph, Gimel, Daleth, and Beth. These seven plus the three mother letters make ten letters.
The remaining twelve letters are related to the twelve tribes of Israel. The twelve tribes of Israel are twelve forces that descend from the world of Atziluth down into Malkuth, matter, our physical body. We have to develop these twenty-two letters within ourselves. Moses gave ten well-known commandments, but indeed they are twenty-two commandments because each commandment is related to the twenty-two letters of the sacred Kabbalistic alphabet. The twelve remaining letters are related with the letter ש Shin and the sephirah Chokmah.
If we visualize the human body and the ten sephiroth, then we see that the first triangle relates to the head, and is the kingdom of the sephirah Kether, and is commanded by the letter א Aleph. The second triangle is related to the chest, the heart, is the kingdom of the sephirah Chokmah, and is controlled by the letter ש Shin, fire. Then, the third triangle is related with kidneys and the sexual organs, is the kingdom of the sephirah Binah, and is related with the letter מ Mem. This is why when we talk about the remaining twelve letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which are related with the twelve tribes of Israel, we said that they are related with the letter Shin, with Chokmah, whose kingdom is in the heart.
In order to understand how these archetypes descend into the physical body, we have then to visualize the physical body. The physical body crystallizes all of those forces through the blood. The blood is a vehicle of א Aleph, the spirit. When we breathe, when we inhale the air, we inhale א Aleph. Thus א Aleph enters the lungs and purifies the blood which is the letter ש Shin (fire). This is why it is stated that the Father (א) and the Son (ש) are united in the heart—the human soul, Tiphereth, purified in the human organism by Aleph and Shin אש Esh, “fire.” If the letter שShin relates to the twelve tribes, it is easy to understand that those archetypes enter into the body, in potentiality, through the blood. Our duty is to develop them.
Israel
The development of ישראל Israel (the human being made into the image of God) is done by the Iod י of the sephirah Yesod, in the kingdom of Binah. The word Israel ישראל begins with Iod and Shin which makes the word יש Ish (“man”), and is contained in איש Eish which means fire in the Iod of man, male, soul. When the last letter ה Hei (“woman” or “womb”) of the name of God Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei is added to איש Ish, we then spell Isha אישה which means fire in the Hei, the woman. So when we say Ishra ישר, this is Yasher, “the righteous אש Esh (solar fire) in ר Resh (the head ראש rosh).” The letter ר Resh by itself is Rah ר, which in Egypt is the solar light. If the letter ע Ayin is added to the letter Resh then it spells רע Ra “pollution, impurity, evil.” The letter ע Ayin has the shape of the fallopian tubes and the uterus, it has the value of seventy, and relates to the descent of the archetypes of Rah ר of Israel into ע Ayin, the womb of דעת Daath, עדן Eden in Egypt, Malkuth.
“Behold all the plain of Jordan, that (as ע “Ayin”) it is well watered every where, before יהוה Iod-Havah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as (עדן Eden) the garden of יהוה Iod-Havah, like the land of מצרים Mitzrahim, Egypt, as thou comest unto צער Tzoar.” - Genesis 13: 10
“All the souls who came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls (ע Ayin), since יוסף Joseph was in (ע Ayin the womb of עדן Eden) Egypt already.” - Exodus 1: 5
In the word Ishrael ישראל, the letter Resh symbolizes the solar light of Rah. So when we say, ישר Ishra, we mean the solar human made into the image of God. Israel ישראל implies all the attributes of אל El (God, Chesed) in one’s body.
Israel ישראל represents twelve archetypes connected to the archetypes in the world of Atziluth. The world of Atziluth is the world of divine emanations, the world of the Logos, the world of the Elohim. In Atziluth we find these archetypes that need to be sent into matter in order to fulfill their duty, which is to make an image, a creature in the image of God. Without these archetypes made into the image of God, Israel ישראל cannot exist. Remember that we are not talking here about Israel ישראל in the Middle East, we are talking about the Kabbalistic alchemical meaning of Israel ישראל, which is an archetypical symbol. Similarly we find, for instance, the Brahmins, from Sanskrit Brahmana, which relates to Brahma, the creator father in Sanskrit. Kabbalistically speaking, in order for a soul to become a Brahman is like to be an Israelite. In India, there is a sect called the Brahmans who think they are the selected race, just like in Israel they think they are the chosen ones; this is because both interpret their scriptures literally.
Names of God
In the world of Atziluth, we find ten divine names that synthesize these divine archetypes. All of these are mantras, Hebrew mantras, Kabbalistic mantras.
The first name is “E-he-ye” which means “I am.” It is in Kether.
The second name, in Chokmah, is Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei which is translated as “Jehovah”.
The third archetype is Jehovah Elohim, in Binah.
The fourth is El which is Chesed. El by itself means “God,” male.
Then, in Geburah, we find the archetype Elohim Gibor, which means “the strength of God,” or “the justice of God.”
In Tiphereth, we find the archetype which is called Eloha va Daath Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei. This is the longest name among all of these names.
In Netzach, we find the other archetype which is called Jehovah Tzabaoth. This Tzabaoth means “the army” or “hosts”—the “hosts of Jehovah” is its meaning.
In Hod, we find Elohim Tzabaoth, “the hosts of gods and goddesses.”
In Yesod, we find El Shaddai or Shaddai El Chai, which is the sexual power.
In Malkuth, Adonai which means “the Lord.”
Those are the ten names of the archetypes in Atziluth. Together with the twelve tribes of Israel ישראל, they make twenty-two archetypes. So these are, in synthesis, the archetypes that descend through Chokmah into the sephirah Daath דעת, better said, into ע Ayin, the womb of דעת Daath.
Daath דעת is the Hebrew word for Gnosis, knowledge, Daath דעת contains the mysterious paradise words, דברים עדן תעלומות Debarim Eden Thalomoth. In the book of Genesis, Daath דעת is referred to as the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. So we will say that in Atziluth, that which we call “evil” or “Klipoth” does not exist. But below, in the mysterious sephirah Daath דעת, it is obvious it can be found, because Daath דעת is referred to as the “Tree of Good and Evil”. So the sexual force of Binah can become evil or good, in accordance to the activity of the male and female forces in Yesod.
In Daath דעת is where the first duality of that Trinity creates. The three primary forces (Kether, Chokmah, Binah which represent the world of Atziluth, the world of archetypes that have the power to create) need to reunite in a given point in order to do it. That given point is Daath דעת, the tree of Good and Evil: “knowledge.” It is in that mysterious sephirah Daath דעת, which is below the first triangle, exactly in the throat of the imaginary man. If you see the human being, it’s in the throat—it’s where God creates, so Daath דעת is that given point. The Trinity divides into two, the duality that we call “Abba” and “Aima,” Father and Mother. And it is here in the throat, where occurs that which is written in the Book of John, namely:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” - John 1: 1-5
The Word is Chokmah, the Second Logos. The Word is אש Esh, fire, the letter Shin, that represents the three primary forces.
The masculine and feminine aspect of that fire has to appear as איש Ish and אישה Isha. The one who causes this division is יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim, the Third Logos, Binah, Mem, Water, as it is written:
“And יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of (Mem) Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.” - Genesis 2: 8-10
“And יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.... And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called אישה Isha [woman], because she was taken out of איש Ish [man].” - Genesis 2: 18, 23
So, אישה Isha, the woman, is what we call Nukva in Aramaic, which refers to many levels, but we said is “the promised land,” because land, earth, matter, mother is a Nukva in different levels in Kabbalah.
In the book of Genesis, the Nukva is represented in each of the four rivers which came from Binah, יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim, the Mem, the one river; these four rivers were watering Yesod, the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden is represented in the letter ע Ayin that came out from דעת Daath. Ayin ע has the shape of the fallopian tubes and the uterus, it has the value of seventy and relates to the descent of the archetypes of Rah ר of Israel into Yesod, עדן Eden, the womb of Egypt, Malkuth.
The first emanation of this feminine aspect of Israel ישראל, or archetypes, that come from Chokmah is called שרי Sarai. If you observe the letters of שרי Sarai in Hebrew, the first letter in Sarai is Shin, the second is Resh, and the third is Iod. In other words, if you take the word אל El which means “God” out of Israel ישראל, then you form the word Sarai— which means “princess.” It refers to the feminine aspect of Israel ישראל, in the highest levels, that have to descend. And that’s why this word, Sarai, contains the letter י Iod of Kether; the letter Iod is above the letter Resh. The letter Resh relates to ראש Rosh, the head. And ראש Rosh contains Aleph-Shin, the אש Esh, fire of Chokmah, which is the second aspect of the Trinity which in Christianity is call the Son, he is Vishnu, the creative fire. That creative fire of Chokmah emanates from the י Iod of Kether, which is Eheieh, meaning “I will be” because Kether is in a state of eternal becoming. Chokmah is the one who becomes as fire from י Iod and creates the universe. This is why it is said that the Christ, Chokmah, is the one who sustains the universe—any universe, any cosmos because it descends, according to the Tree of Life, from דעת Daath.
There, in Daath דעת, we find the potency, the creative potency of God which Christianity calls Lucifer. This is a Latin word. Luz, Lux, Luxi, Luci, for “light,” and Fer, meaning “ferry, carrier.” Some translate fer as fire or force, strength. Lucifer means “Carrier of Light” which is the fire, the ש Shin which carries the light. But one thing is Lucifer carrying the light in heaven and another thing is the fallen Lucifer. When that light falls, it transforms itself into שטן Shatan. The word שטן Shatan is also written with ש Shin. So, the Hebrew letters, the Hebrew language, hide all of these mysteries.
Shatan, the fallen Lucifer, is individual in each one of us. Gnostically speaking, let us understand that Lucifer is not somebody outside of us, it is inside. Christ is inside of us. All those archetypes are inside. They exist because through them we create the human into the image of God.
So in Daath דעת, it is how we find the mystery of creation—the mystery of the word, the Logos, the first archetype that descends into מצרים Mitsrayim or Mitzrahim that the Book of John talks about.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” - John 1: 14
This word מצרים Mitzrayim means “Egypt,” but not the country Egypt in the Middle East, in Africa. It refers to the sephirah Malkuth at the very bottom of the Tree of Life and that refers to our physical body. That is Egypt, better said מצרים Mitzrayim. This word Mitzrayim contains מים Mayim, two letter Mems, two waters, united by a Iod that should rise on the "צר Tzar” the spiritual womb, the narrow passage, the spinal medulla.
Abraham
The archetype Abraham in the book of Genesis is represented in Daath and Yesod. First it is stated that אברם Abram descended from the land of his nativity, in אור Aur of the כשדים K’Shedim to go to the land of כנען Canaan and from there to Mitzrayim, Egypt.
“Canaanכנען symbolizes the lower or animal nature of man susceptive of all material and gross influences that trend to the excitation of animal instincts, desires and passions.... This is also wherefore it is written, 'And Abram passed through the land,' (Genesis 12:6 ) neither abode in it because the patriarchs through their merits and works had not purified it, neither had Israel made known the sacred name so that it was still suffering under the primal curse pronounced upon the earth and the serpent, 'Cursed be the ground because of thee, cursed art thou above all the beasts of the field.'Gen. 3:14, 3:17 And of the land of Canaan it is written, cursed is Canaan, a servant of servants, shall he be unto his brothers.” - Zohar
Abram אברם is the sephirah Chesed. Abram אברם means “exalted father,” it refers also to the first division of the waters in דעת Daath. Thus in Daath, Abram אברם, the exalted father is an emanation of Mem, Binah, the Holy Spirit; Abba אב the father the רם Ram, the waters of the head. Abram אברם, the waters of the head, marries Sarai, the fires of the head, who is his half-sister, because Sarai is an emanation of the three primary forces of Shin. Thus, in Daath דעת, the throat, we find שרי Sarai, fire, and the exalted father אברם Abram, water. When, they descend from Daath into Yesod, they become Abraham and Sarah.
Abraham the exalted father is El, Chesed, which each one of us has within. So inside of our psyche, in the very depths of our psyche, we have our own particular individual spirit—Chesed, which means “mercy, charity.” Chesed is Abram, the exalted individual father in each one of us. Abram represents Chesed and is also represented as Abba in דעת Daath. Abraham is this archetype which in Genesis is called The Ruach Elohim. Ruach means “spirit.” Ruach Elohim is the “Spirit of the Elohim”. Which Elohim are we talking about here? We are talking about Elohim that comprise the three creative forces of the world of Atziluth. The Ruach Elohim is inside of us, it’s our own spirit. The Ruach Elohim, Abraham, is the one that has to create Adam into the image of God— or
“...the generations of the heavens and of the earth (בהבראם Be-Hibaram) by Abraham, in the day that יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim made the earth and the heavens.” - Genesis 2: 4
We have to perform the alchemical work because it is written that in the beginning, the Spirit of the Elohim (that is אברם Abram) was hovering upon the face of the Akashic waters. So, the רוח אלהים Ruach Elohim, the Spirit of God, אברם Abram, can handle the צלם Tzalem (image), the archetypical דמות Damuth (likeness), in order to generate Adam by following the laws of יהוה אלהים Iod-Havah Elohim inside of us.
In order for אברם Abram to create the human being inside of us, he needs a womb. That womb is the spinal medulla, that is the spiritual womb of שרי Sarai. Visualize how the י Iod (Kether) is connected to the ר Resh (the brain and spinal medulla), and how these are connected to the ש Shin (three nervous systems), to all the organs, to all those inner organs that we have in our physical body. From the spinal medulla is how אברם Abram works, and how from it אברם Abram commands the body in different levels through the ש Shin or three nervous systems—which represent the three primary forces. So when אברם Abram fecundates the spinal medulla through the three nervous systems which are the three primary forces that create, אברם Abram becomes בהבראם Be-Hibaram, the generator of the different elements of the heavens and earth, or the developer of the archetypes that are placed already in the creative sexual waters of our physical body.
So, אברם Abram (Ruach Elohim, Chesed) is אב Abba, our Monad, who was hovering upon all of the archetypes that, in the beginning, were placed by Brahman, the Universal Spirit of Life upon the face of the Akashic waters. From Brahman, the רם Ram, (the most high God) אב Abba descended as אברם Abram through the מ Mem of Binah into the sephirah Daath דעת and from it אב Abba, our Monad, appeared as Chesed descending into Malkuth, Egypt. This is why אברם Abram departed from Parabrahman, the land of his nativity, that is (Ain Soph) Aur of the כשדים K’Shedim (unconscious spirits), to go down into the land of Canaan and from it into Egypt—which is the physical body.
This is how our spiritual force descends and creates for the first time Ishmael, which represents the souls of those people that are fascinated with this physical world. Ishmael is a son of Hagar, a slave of Mitzrayim, Egypt.
“The human organism, in final synthesis, is constituted by billions and trillions of infinitesimal Monads. There are several types and orders of primary elements of any existence, of any organism, like seeds (germs) of all the phenomena of nature; we can call them Monads, (employing the term of Leibnitz, in the absence of a more descriptive term) to indicate the simplicity of the most simple existence. An atom, as a vehicle of action, corresponds to each of these genii or Monads. The Monads attract each other, combine, and transform themselves, giving form to every organism, world, micro-organism, etc. Hierarchies exist among the Monads: the inferior Monads must obey the superior ones. That is the law. Inferior Monads belong to the superior ones. All the trillions of Monads that animate the human organism have to obey the owner, the chief, the principal Monad. The regulating Monad, the primordial Monad, permits the activity of all of its subordinates inside the human organism, until the time indicated by the law of Karma. When the billions or trillions of Monads or vital germs abandon the physical body, death is then inevitable. The Monads in themselves are indestructible; they abandon their old connections in order to briefly carry out other new ones. The return to this world, the reentry, the re-embodiment, would be impossible without the work of the Monads. They reconstruct new cells with their perceptions and sensations; they reconstruct new organisms. When the primordial Monad is totally developed, it can afford to utilize its trillions of Monads to create a world, a Sun, a comet, and thus become a regulating Monad of any star, but that is something of the Gods. The Monads or vital genii are not exclusive to the physical organism; within the atoms of the internal bodies many orders and categories of living Monads are found imprisoned. The existence of any physical or supersensible, angelic or diabolical, solar or lunar body, has billions and trillions of Monads as its foundation. The lunar ego in itself is a composite of atoms of the secret enemy. Unfortunately, the Monads or vital genii are prisoners within such atoms. Now we will comprehend why occult science states: The Demon is God inverted.” - Practical Astrology by Samael Aun Weor
So, our spiritual force creates in the Ayin, the womb of a female—the uterus. All of us come from that uterus. We are the symbol of Ishmael. Ishmael also represents people like us that like the knowledge, that gather, as we are gathering now, that gather not only in the Gnostic schools, but that gather in other religions. People that search for the truth that they carry within, they want the clues, the codes that will allow them to develop their inner archetypes: that is Ishmael in Egypt. So that is the first covenant. As for instance, right now, we are studying the Kabbalah, we are studying Gnosis, we represent Ishmael. Knowing this, we must know that inside of us is the will of our Abba, on him, אברם Abram, depends the development of all of this. If we really want to belong to the promise given unto Abraham, then we have to develop Isaac inside our spinal medulla. If we do not develop Isaac, if we do not awaken the Kundalini, then we are not a son of the promise, we are just Ishmael in exile.
Remember that Ishmael was sent to exile into Egypt (Mitzrayim, the physical world), in other words, we are sent to this physical world to study this, because by learning this is how we can enter into initiation.
Isaac represents the first fire that ascends in the spinal column. Isaac is born from the sexual transmutation of the forces of Adam and Eve (lunar and solar forces, Ida and Pingala, Od and Obd).
That division between Ishmael and Isaac relates to the physical world; those that only study Kabbalah, those who only study religion, belong to Ishmael, the first covenant, which is, those who study the alchemical knowledge that is in every authentic religion of the light.
The ones who belong to the covenant of God with Abraham are those that awaken the Kundalini, that develop Isaac within themselves. This Isaac belongs to the sephirah Geburah because Abraham belongs to Chesed. Geburah and Chesed become united when Abraham, through the alchemical work, acquires 100 years of age. This is symbolic. When we raise all the energy of the sexual force towards the pineal gland, through the 33 vertebrae of our spinal column in our physical body, then we extract the light from all those elements related with inferior kingdoms of nature, and all of that is good, all of that relates to the soul. Such soul unites with Isaac and gives mastery to our particular individual spirit, or Monad. This is why it is written that the Monad is made by two elements, named Atman Buddhi in Sanskrit. We will say that Chesed is Mahatma-- the great soul inside of us, or the Spirit. Our own particular Abraham is Mahatma. Geburah is Buddhi, which means “mind” in Sanskrit. United they make the Monad. But there is another soul, part of the Monad that can fall into sin, and this is Tiphereth.

Yesod, the Second Initiation of Major Mysteries
When we develop Isaac within, then our own particular individual Monad, Chesed, receives the first initiation of major mysteries.
Thereafter Chesed starts developing through Isaac the second initiation related to the world of Yesod (the vital body, the superior aspect of the physical body). Isaac, Geburah, does this with his particular individual Nukva, Rebekah; they beget two children in Yesod, namely, Esau and Jacob, which physically are related to the sexual force. The first child is Esau, which symbolizes Nephesh, the animal physical soul that expresses through the sexual physical force, whose source is in the vital body. Everybody has Esau within.
“And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his נפשות Nepheshoth (animal sexual forces), which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.” - Genesis 36: 6
But this “Esau,” as we explained in previous lectures, is poison for the spirit. It carries the inheritance, the animal inheritance from the past, when we were animals, irrational animals. That poisoned blood comes from Esau but we need it, because remember that Jacob was holding the heel of Esau when he was coming out of the womb of Rebekah his mother, meaning that from the transmutation of the sexual strength of Esau, which is Nephesh, the animal strength, Jacob emerges.
“Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is psychikos (the principal of animal life, which sexually we have in common with the brutes); and afterward that which is pneumatikos (belonging to the Holy Spirit).” - 1 Corinthians 15: 46
So we need to transmute the sexual energy more and more so that Jacob can be raised in the spinal column of our vital body. This is why Jacob, in the bible, relates to the world of Yesod and to the world of Tiphereth. Tiphereth is the third aspect of the Monad (Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth). Tiphereth is the willpower that descends and ascends in order to be developed in the vital body, the superior aspect of our physical body, that in Buddhism is call Bodhichitta—the soul human, the human consciousness that awakens in Yesod, Eden, with the twelve attributes of Israel, Tiphereth.
“Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it is listened, and you hears the sound thereof, but cannot tell whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of (Chesed) the Spirit." Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Are you a master of Israel, and do not know these things? Verily, verily, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you do not receive our testimony. If I have told you earthly things, (that is sexual alchemy) and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” - John 3: 7-12
Jacob steals the first right from Esau because the first right is the force that we have in the physical body: the sexual force of Nephesh, that initially belongs to Esau, the animal in us. And this is why it is written that Jacob fought with Samael, because Samael is the sexual strength in Yesod (Scorpio). Samael is the archangel that gives strength not only to the human being but also to the animals in the animal kingdom. Intellectual animals utilize the strength of Esau to fornicate. But Jacob fights against Esau and by fighting against Esau he fights against Samael in Yesod (Scorpio), yet, it is better to state that the איש Ish (male) against whom Jacob fights is Elohim Gibbor (אלהים גבר), who represents the Giborim (גברים), the positive male sexual might of Samael in Scorpio. Jacob is trying to control און Aun, the sexual strength which is within עם Om, in order to make light in the darkness. From the transmutation of עם Om (sexual essence) emerges און ואור Aun Weor, strength and light in Yesod. So when אור Aur (light) emerges from that עם Om, then Jacob is triumphant. This is symbolized in the Bible when Jacob receives the name of his inner angel. That angel emerges from the sexual strength of Samael. Understand, it is not that Jacob is fighting and defeating the Logos Samael per se, but fighting and defeating his own Om (Nephesh, Esau), the animal sexual force of his body, which is an outcome of Samael (the sexual force in Scorpio) symbolized by Elohim Gibor (the positive ray of Mars, Geburah). As it is written:
“And he said, your name shall no more called Jacob, but Israel; for you have been upright with עם אלהים Om Elohim (Gibor) and with ועם־אנשים people’s Om (Essau), and have prevailed.” - Genesis 32: 28
Behold the development of those archetypes according to the second initiation. Thus, Jacob, triumphant, develops the twelve tribes because he is situated exactly in Yesod and united with Tiphereth. Jacob is represented with the word Vav וו, because he is the Zeir Anpin inside of us. The first letter ו Vav in the word Vav וו is Tiphereth, and the second is Yesod. Uniting them we enter into the world of Eden, because Jacob is the first one to enter into Eden. We were expelled from Eden, but through Jacob we enter into Eden and develop the twelve archetypes or attributes of the soul, which we know are the twelve tribes of Israel ישראל.
Hod, the Third Initiation of Major Mysteries
The twelve tribes of Israel ישראל have to be developed also in the world of Hod, which is the sephirah that relates to the astral body.
At this point the twelve forces are only eleven because still Benjamin has not been grown yet.
As Genesis states, the ten patriarchs of these forces of Hod sell Joseph to Mitsrayim. In other words, through Joseph the forces of יו IO descend, are סף Saf, added to Egypt, our physical body, again. This is called the Exile. The first archetype that enters is Joseph, and it is because, alchemically and kabbalistically, Joseph represents יסוד Yesod, the secret covenant of Yesod. Those who know the mystery of sexual transmutation understand that יוסף IOSeph is “IO-Cephas”.
“...Cephas, which is by interpretation, a stone...” - John 1: 42
...the stone of Yesod.
IO is the duality, the lunar-solar androgyne. Thus, IO-Cephas (Joseph) represents the covenant. This is why he is sold to Egypt, because in order to climb the tree of life, each initiation starts at the very bottom, from Malkuth. In Malkuth we have “IO,” the duality, Adam and Eve: Adam the man, Eve the woman; the priest and the priestess of IO לוי Levi (30+6+10 = 10 = IO). This is the mystery of Sabbath, Shabbath, the sexual act—which is performed not like animals (psychikos) but like human beings (pneumatikos), with transmutation (chastity, continence). This is how we find that Joseph Iod-Cipha יוד-כיפא represents “IOCephas,” the son of IO, the 10th. The letter יוד Iod in the stone (Cephas) of Yesod, as Jacob represents Tiphereth, the human soul. In other words, Jacob needs Joseph, the stone of IO. This is why Joseph was the favorite of Jacob, because through his vesture of many colors, which represents the astral lunar light, all the archetypes descend into the physical body. Thanks to Joseph (the lunar astral body), we receive all of the solar forces of “AbRamIO” in Yesod, the sexual force of our physical body. This is how we enter into the third initiation, which is explained in the book “The Seven Words” written by Samael Aun Weor.
During the time when Joseph is in exile in Egypt, as a slave, he becomes a king or better said, second after the Pharaoh, or the king of Egypt. Benjamin, this other son of Rachel, develops through the transmutation of the sexual forces in the physical body of those archetypes, his brothers. This is how we enter into the world of Hod by developing that archetype named Benjamin, which represents the higher forces of Hod; thus, from the world of Atziluth beyond Daath דעת, we form the solar astral body, which is named Benjamin. He becomes that solar vehicle that unites our Joseph (our physical lunar astral personality) with the supreme immanence of “RA” (the solar father). The astral body is the first vehicle that is created when the third fire ascends through the spinal medulla of the lunar astral body. This is, in synthesis, what we explained in the previous lecture. Now let us see how those forces enter us.
Genesis states that a famine develops, and as a consequence the archetypes (the tribes of Israel ישראל) descend into Mitzrayim (Egypt) in order to look for food. Their descent is due to the initiation.
Netzach, the Fourth Initiation of Major Mysteries
After the third initiation is developed, then it is written in the first chapter of the book of Exodus:
“Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob, namely, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.” - Exodus 1: 1-5
Jacob is the sexual force of the father that comes down to the physical body.
These eleven names are the tribes of Israel ישראל, all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob. The loins—the sexual force of Jacob— were seventy souls, for Joseph was in Egypt already. Meaning, Joseph was already in Egypt, this is why they descended. Because if Joseph was not in Egypt, they would not descend. Joseph is that force in the physical body that knows the covenant and through the covenant is how they descend.
The archetypes of the world of Atziluth are ten, and the Zeir Anpin is formed by the seven lower sephiroth below Daath דעת. Multiply the ten from Atziluth by 7 (the Zeir Anpin) and we will get seventy; this is the synthesis. Seventy souls means that ten archetypes descend through Jacob in each of the seven lower sephiroth.
Jacob is Tiphereth, the human soul united to Chokmah, whose kingdom is in the heart. In other words, through the human soul is how these archetypes enter into Egypt (our physical body) and are developed. It is the human soul that works under the guidance of Chesed (the Spirit of God, the Ruach Elohim), and both under the guidance of Chokmah. So, this is how we understand why in the Bible it is written that seventy souls descended through the twelve tribes. The twelve tribes symbolize the twelve archetypes of the twelve zodiacal signs which are symbolized, or synthesized, in Chokmah, the second sephirah.
But let us now read what Chokmah said to those solar archetypes through the lips of Master Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew in order for us to understand better.
“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three (solar archetypes) are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus said unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” - Matthew 18: 18-22
That was a Kabbalistic question. Why seven times? It is seven because the true human being has seven bodies, namely, the spirit, the divine soul, the human soul, the human mind, the astral body, the vital body, and physical body. So those are the names of the seven bodies of the true human being. When we commit a mistake, the whole human being is the one that is doing it. This is why Daath דעת, which symbolizes the upper Eden, is from where the true human being fell into sin because the true human being represents the seven lower sephiroth.
Apostle Peter (whose doctrine is sexual alchemy and who as an archetype sits in the pineal gland) asked: ‘how oft shall my brother sexually sin against me in the pineal gland, and I forgive him? till seven times?’ Why did Jesus said to Peter, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.’?
If you make the additions, you will get 490 times. If you do not know Kabbalah, you may think “Maybe this is just a random number that occurred to Jesus.” Understand, Jesus said, “seventy times seven” because he knew what he was saying, since Jesus was a Rabbi; yes, Jesus was the Divine Rabbi from Galilee. The manifestation of Chokmah in a human body is Jesus Christ. As we explained, the ten archetypes of the world of Atziluth express themselves through Chokmah, whose divine name in Atziluth is יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei. Chokmah is represented by the letter ש Shin, which symbolizes fire. Thus, kabbalistically, יהוה plus ש = Ieshuah יהשוה. Ieshuah יהשוה Jeshua, is Jesus, or יהושע Joshua if you like, since יהו is IAO, the trinity, the Logos, which is made flesh and bones thanks to the letter ש Shin, the fire, within Ayin ע the womb of מרי Mary, מרים Miriam, מצרים Mitzrayim, Egypt, by means of sexual alchemy (Tzade צ). Therefore Ieshuah יהשוה Jeshua, Jesus, knew that the true human being has seven bodies. In other words, in order for any of us to annihilate resentment or any of all those defects related to our ego, we have to work and to clean all the 49 subconscious levels of our lunar mind, from those psychological aggregates of resentment, since each one of our seven bodies has seven levels, in each of the ten sephiroth of the world of Yetzirah, the world of formation. Ten times 49 = 490. Or as it is written:
“And יהוה אלהים Jehovah Elohim formed Adam (in יצרה Yetzirah) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and Adam became a living soul.” - Genesis 2: 7
In each body, we have seven chakras which the book of revelation call churches; the seven churches of Assiah are situated in the spinal column. Those seven churches have to be purified because the soul dwells in each one of them. So we have to raise the ש Shin, the fire, seven times in each of the seven solar bodies. Remember the letter Shin in synthesis relate to the ten archetypes of the world of Atziluth.
In other words, Jesus is saying “we have to go with our psyche within the ten sephiroth, seven times seven.” The true human being (Adam) has seven bodies, and each body has seven Pneumatic parts in the medulla, which are the seven churches or the chakras, thus this is seventy times seven; this is how we have to alchemically and psychologically work. This is why we wonder when somebody says, “You can annihilate your ego just in this physical world (Malkuth) without the need for meditation.” How are you going to annihilate only in Malkuth, when you have not only a physical body, but also you have to know the vital body, the astral body, the mental body, the causal body, the Buddhic body and Atmic body. Nonetheless, despite the fact, that here, in this lecture, we comprehend this intellectually, since we know about these levels, yet, realize, that one thing is to know this intellectually and another is to know it with cognizance. We have to be cognizant of all of what we know intellectually. This implies meditation and awakening. This is how we will be cognizant of what is written that Master Jesus says in the bible, about “70 times 7.”
“And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.” - Exodus 1: 6, 7
The land is the physical body, with the psychological development of those twelve attributes within your grand-sympathetic nervous system. If you eventually work in that initiation, you will see how all of those senses and all of those attributes of Israel ישראל develop within your astral body.
“Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.” - Exodus 1: 8
This is the next step. When we study the human body, we understand that we have three nervous systems, or three brains, namely, the central nervous system, which is the brain and the medulla, the grand sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system.
The central nervous system (the brain and the medulla) is the throne of the Innermost, the spirit. Chesed should work there and control Egypt, our physicality, but our mind is animal, lunar, protoplasmic. Still, the spirit does not control the brain as he should. The brain is the physical vehicle of the mind, our present mind is sinful, lunar and is represented in the Exodus by the Pharaoh.
“When the mind receives influence from the inner world it invites us to quietude and concentration; but the mental body is constituted and influenced by the external world: our mind tends to express itself through the muscles created by the body of desires, that forms a path to it, thus the mind is always ready to ally with desire. This is what prevents our Innermost to manifest through the voluntary movements of our physical organism. So our Innermost, Chesed, takes another way to master the body and thus he uses the atom of the Holy Spirit in the pineal gland, but this one which dominates the brain system and the grand sympathetic nervous system, has a large container at the (coccyx) base of this system: It is the secret enemy, entity formed by all the abuses of the same mind, the secret enemy dominates the lower part of the System, defends it and makes of it an involuntary system. So voluntary acts are under the mastery of the mind and the involuntary are governed by instincts and sensations.” - Adoum
In other words, our animal, lunar, protoplasmic mind, the Pharaoh, in each one of us, controls the physical body (Mitzrayim, Egypt) in each one of us, through the parasympathetic nervous system. And this is our problem. Our intellect, the mind, thinks that he is the king of everything. We should realize that the intellect is only a vehicle for the spirit. But when we do not realize that the intellect is only a vehicle for the spirit then we push away the spirit which should sit on his throne which is the brain and the spinal medulla of our physical body, which is Egypt.
“Now there arose up a new king over Egypt” implies the fourth initiation of Major Mysteries. In other words, the entrance into the world of Netzach, the mind.
Netzach is the solar mind that we have to develop that should work under the service of the spirit. But even when we develop the solar mind, the mind is always stubborn—we have an animal mind. But even if we have a solar Mind, we have to control that mind. Don’t think that because we create a solar mind we do not need to control it. The solar mind is that element that Paul of Tarsus states, “we have the mind of the Lord.” We have to create that mind—that mind is developed in that second womb, in the spinal medulla of that mental, lunar, protoplasmic specter. After we create the astral solar body (in the third initiation), we create the solar mind, the mind of the Lord (in the fourth initiation). That mind gives us comprehension of the mysteries of the Bible, of the mysteries of any sacred book—of any sacred religion, because that mind understands the wisdom. This why it is written that another King arose in Egypt which knew not Joseph, but knew the desiring forces—or the forces of desire of the astral plane. Because Joseph, etc. is related to the superior astral plane; the astral plane is related with the world of dreams.
Remember that it is written that Joseph was skillful in interpreting dreams because that is in relation with the emotional body. The language of the Bible is there, in the world of dreams—the astral world. When we enter into initiation, we develop our own particular individual Joseph that understands that language. When we enter the fourth initiation, the creation of the mental body, another king, another Pharaoh takes control of the brain—of the central nervous system, and puts aside the emotional forces—or control the emotional forces. And those forces, which are the twelve tribes or twelve attributes or twelve archetypes, and those elements that came down to help to develop the pyramids of thought. The pyramid, any pyramid, symbolizes thought—the mind, the mental body. Hermes Thoth, the solar mind, the pyramid of thought, are always built within any initiate by the archetypes of Israel, the Masons, the Toltecs.
Egypt ruled at that time when Moses wrote those books. So in other words, the brain, the physical vehicle of the mind is the one that rules and in this day and age, you know, the intellect, the intellectuals rule this world. The same was happening in the time of Moses, when that emperor forgot that thanks to the forces of the archetypes that Joseph brought wealth to Egypt. He ignored that, he ignored the archetypes, and it is precisely what we always do and it is because the mind, the brain is related with the senses. When we identify with the external world, that’s the mind, that’s the Pharaoh, while Joseph relates only to the internal world. That’s why it says that he ignored Joseph, he didn’t know anything about Joseph because he was identified with the physical world.
We have to educate our mind, train our mind, whether we have lunar or solar mind.
That Pharaoh or solar body was elaborated, or created, thanks to the tribes of Israel ישראל because they were making the bricks, making the mortar, making everything. All of those archetypes are what we need in order to build our own particular pyramid. You see the symbol here, because everything that exists in the exterior world is a symbol. So the pyramid is a symbol of thought—that is why it is said “the Pyramid of Thoth.” So those archetypes were, in other words, like slaves or act like slaves within us, controlled by the mind.
Thus, we need a liberator because the Pharaoh of the mind is a problem. And then it is written that the body of willpower has to be born inside of us which is the next body which is Tiphereth, the causal body. The Monad has to go there.
Tiphereth, the Fifth Initiation of Major Mysteries
When we talk about Moses, we talk about Tiphereth. Jacob only reached that level of Tiphereth. Moses, willpower, goes beyond, goes to Daath דעת-- that’s the difference between Moses and Jacob. Moses goes up to Daath דעת and sees God face to face. That’s the causal body. This is why it is written in the Book of Exodus 1: 1:
“And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.”
When addressing the tribe of Levi, the book of Leviticus comes to mind. Leviticus is a book related with the priests, the rules that you have to follow when you enter into this path. You have to know Kabbalah in order to understand that book. Levi is related with priesthood. So when you read, for instance, “a man of the tribe of Levi.” We will say this man is the one that knew how to control the sexual potency, by transmuting the sexual force, the “Leviathan.” That is the force of the priest. When the priest is officiating, he is utilizing the force of the “Levi-a-than” which is the sexual potency. The Leviathan is also that force that swallowed Jonah, a name which means dove in Hebrew, the dove of the Holy Spirit. Jonah is swallowed by the sexual force in the ninth sphere.
This man of Levi, the Leviathan, took a priestess from the tribe of Levi as well. So both were of the tribe of Levi, a male and female Leviathans, meaning, they were initiates, they were priests and priestesses working together in order to fecundate, in order to create Moses within them.
If you know the story of Exodus, you know that the Pharaoh knew very well that Moses (Tiphereth, the body of willpower) does the will of God. So the mind (the Pharaoh) wants to destroy any child that comes after him, because that will jeopardize his dominion over Egypt (the physical world). Such a story is also repeated in the life of Jesus because Jesus also represents the forces of Tiphereth and beyond. Jesus is the manifestation of Chokmah in the human soul that goes beyond Daath דעת, Jesus goes into Chokmah and even into the Absolute. But here we are only addressing our own particular individual will, named משה Mosheh.
Remember that Moses is born and is hidden in the river Nile, the sexual potency, because any river is the symbol of the sexual force. His sister is watching him from afar, that sister is the Shekinah, the Glory of God that is within him, within that body. Moses existed physically, but he came to represent that particular individual משה Mosheh that we have to develop after the creation of the solar mind. Mosheh symbolizes the body of willpower. And that is why Moses is the one that really controls the Pharaoh. In other words, Moses is Thelema, willpower, Moses is that element that controls the mind.
Our mind is a donkey, it’s a mule, it’s stubborn even if it’s solar. To control the mind is only possible with willpower which is symbolized in Moses. That’s why Moses is born in Yesod. And that’s why Moses represents the man into the image of God that performs all those miracles and those wonders inside of us.
How many commandments did Moses bring into the world? Ten: the ten sephiroth. How many wonders did he perform in front of the mind, the Pharaoh? Ten. Ten plagues, because each plague is related with the tree of life—the ten sephiroth. And the killing of the first-born, well which is the first-born? The first-born is Kether—that’s the first emanation of the Tree of Life, Kether. The first-born in the world of Klipoth which is altered. In other words, Kether should rule here—in our brain. But instead, we have the ego, the intellect. So when we study the Tree of Life, the ten sephiroth, and the ten plagues that Moses unleashed in Egypt, it’s related with our physical body because here in Egypt, Mitzrayim, the physical body is where the Pharaoh controls our own particular individual mind. So Moses began transforming the serpent into a staff and the staff into a serpent. And then his brother, Aaron, which represents Chesed in that line is the one that together with him performed those wonders. And, Moses is a shepherd as Jacob was a shepherd. Because Tiphereth, the human soul, is willpower. But the only one that can go to the mountain and see God and the flame of fire—in the burning bush—it’s Moses.
So there you have the letter “Shin,” which is in the heart, represents these three Sephiroth—Chesed, Geburah, and Tiphereth; Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And those “Shin” descend into the world of Yesod which is represented by the letter Mem. We remember that we said that the letter Mem represents water. And it’s the first letter in the word, Moses— משה Mosheh. So, this letter Mem contains the letter Shin which are the three patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Within Mem … “Mems” … “Moshe”— the last letter which the letter “hei” is the symbol of the physical body. In other words, that משה Mosheh Mem, Shin and Hei is this willpower that acts through the physical body in order to make the wonders—the 10 wonders of Egypt and the last one is the killing of the first born, which is the antichrist, the intellect, the first born of the mind. In order to take Israel ישראל, all those archetypes, out from slavery because right now, all those archetypes that we have are bottled up within lust, within anger, within pride, greed, gluttony, laziness, many defects. We have to liberate those and that is the exodus.
Esoteric Age
When we talk about age, the first initiation is symbolized by the age of 100 years. The second initiation is 200 years. The third initiation is 300 years. The fourth initiation is 400 years. But when we enter into the world of willpower, which is משה Mosheh, and when we come down into Egypt and start working and delivering Israel ישראל out of Egypt, out of the control of the mind—of the Pharaoh. That is the exodus. Let us read:
“Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.” - Exodus 12: 40
When we talk in Kabbalistic terms, 400 means the mental body, 30 means the fire on the thirtieth vertebra of the next body, which is the causal or the fire of the body of willpower, in the 30th vertebrae ready to enter into the 31st which is related with the exodus.
“And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of (Chokmah) יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei went out from the land of Egypt.”
The Lord, it means Adonai—it would be the Lord of Malkuth— came out of Egypt, of Mitzrayim, of the physical body in order to create the body of willpower in order to go into the exodus. In other words, the so-called exodus is symbolic. People that read the Bible literally, they think that the physical Israelites were passing the Red Sea, were doing that physically. There was no such physical exodus as it’s explained in the book of Exodus. It is something initiatic. The Red Sea represents the passional forces of the physical body and to divide the Red Sea is the same as what God did in Genesis—to divide the waters from the waters in order to pass through beyond good and evil. There are a lot of people in this day and age that are trying to explain how the Israelites came from Egypt literally in the Middle East, or Africa, pass the Red Sea into the promised land which is present Israel ישראל and is now in the Middle East.
Those wonders that Moses performed, which is willpower, are related with an initiation related with the sixth dimension—with Tiphereth. Because it is written, very clearly Kabbalistically, that Israel ישראל left Egypt at 430 years. That’s precisely the moment in which the initiate is entering Nirvana. Then a guardian of Nirvana appears and says in the 31st vertebrae:
“Which path are you going to follow now? The Direct Path or The Spiral Path?”
If the initiate says, I take the Spiral Path, he doesn’t go into the exodus because the exodus is related with the direct path. This is written Kabbalistically and that is shown in the book of Exodus. And that is why Moses was a revolutionary initiate. We don’t deny that at that time there were not only Moses but many others masters in Atlantis that were pulling people out of Atlantis in order to originate this Aryan root race. But we are explaining the symbols of the book of Exodus; the passing through the Red Sea, symbolizes the sinking of Atlantis. But Kabbalistically, symbolically, the book of Exodus shows the people how to go out of this slavery in which we are physically, psychologically, and spiritually speaking; the Book of Exodus was written for the initiates of the direct path. Thus, every single archetype, or name, in Exodus is a symbol that we have to comprehend, that we have to understand.
And that is why after the Exodus, after the 430 years, when Moses took the Direct Path, they went into במדבר B’Mdbar, the book of Numbers, the wilderness, the path of דבר Dabar, the Second Logos. The Direct Path is the path of the wilderness. It is the path in which you have to suffer your karma. 40 years, symbolically. The letter Mem is 40 which means you have to enter into the path and with patience, you will possess your souls. What souls? All the elements that are bottled up into the ego which are the children of Israel ישראל. Little by little, you go into the Direct Path. Symbolically, it is 40 years in order to return to the Promised Land.
The Promised Land is “A Resurrected Master is a mutant. His physical body becomes elastic because his body is reincrudated, that is, it becomes again from the same primordial matter. The Tree of Life the ten Sephiroth become then under the complete control or flow of the resurrected Master. In this process, all bodies are elastic.” - Samael Aun Weor
The Promised Land is really the higher sephiroth. The Promised Land is not, like people think, in Israel ישראל in the Middle East where all those that believe in Judaism will reunite. That is to interpret things literally; the real promised land is within, in different levels. When you really reach the promised land, you resurrect. Jesus entered into the Promised Land after he performed all those sacrifices that he did in himself and who taught with his physical life. Thus, if you want to enter into the Exodus, you need the age of 430 years. You will go wherever your physical age is, maybe you are 26 or 30, or 50, but you cannot go into the Exodus with that physical age. What you need is esoteric, initiatic age, that is 430 years. And then, you will decide. But let me tell you, there are many initiates that reach 430 and when they see the Guardian in front of them, the Guardian says, “Well, where will you go? Will you go into the wilderness, into the Promised Land, the Direct Path? Or will you go to into the Spiral and forget about humanity?” And they say, “Oh, I go into the Spiral first. I don’t want to suffer.” And they forget about humanity. They are very rare, the ones that takes the exodus—the Direct Path. Then, they receive the initiation of Tiphereth. If you read the books of the Master Samael Aun Weor, you will understand. He said you receive the initiation of Tiphereth after you take the Direct Path. Otherwise, you don’t receive it. Because the initiation of Tiphereth is a very special initiation in which Chokmah, the Christ, literally is united with Tiphereth and makes the Son of Man. The Son of Man is a descent of Tiphereth united with Christ in the initiate of the Direct Path. That’s the coming of the Son of Man. Again, the coming of the Son of Man is not like the fundamentalists think—Jesus coming with angels and taking all of them into Heaven because they believe in Jesus. No… If they reach the esoteric age of 430 first and they take the direct path, then Jesus will come. Jesus means “Savior,” the Savior, the Christ, which is fire, “Shin” will come into them and will take them out in the rapture. But that is internal—in the sixth dimension. This is how we comprehend it and how we see it.
That’s why when you see how humanity is right now—it is a war. There is also in Gnosticism a lot of controversies because they don’t understand the knowledge—they don’t comprehend that Israel ישראל is something psychological. The Promised Land is something dimensional. And then you become and transform yourself into a serious practitioner and everything is inside, not outside. Because not only is the Bible not interpreted in the literal manner, but also other sacred books. If you go into India, you see how these Brahmans believe that they are a special sect. And they have the privilege because they are Brahmans and all the people below them are inferior. This is the danger. And if you study every religion, you will find that there is always a special rank in every single religion—where they think they are the best because they are doing this or that physically. But the work is internal, intuitive, not external.
Intuition
The world of Intuition is the world of mathematics. The student that wants to elevate himself to the world of Intuition must be a mathematician, or at least must have notions of arithmetic.
The world of mathematics is the world of Atman (Chesed). The one that thinks is the mind, not the Innermost. The human mind (Essau) in its actual state of evolution is the animal that we carry within. The concept of Descartes, “I think therefore I am,” is completely false, because the true human being is the Innermost and the Innermost does not think because he knows.
