Continuing with this series of lectures regarding the Exodus that, as you see, implies a great many aspects of Kabbalah, we see that it is necessary to truly understand in depth that which is hidden here, if what we want is to enter into the Exodus. As it is written:
“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” - Isaiah: 46: 10
So, we are, as we say in Kabbalah, explaining the beginning with the end and the end with the beginning. This is how we do it. This is why when we delve into the esotericism of Shemoth שמות (Exodus) it is also necessary that we penetrate into the mysteries of Genesis and of Deuteronomy and of the different books written by Moses, in order to explain the Great Work. This is necessary because Exodus encompasses the Great Work, the journey of the soul that must be alchemically understood and which is beautifully revealed in the five books of Moses (the Pentateuch); and, in order to comprehend and understand these works of Moses, at the very least we must know the meanings of the 22 Hebrew letters.
So, let us now observe the glyph of the Tree of Life, which we have used throughout many different lectures; this glyph will help us to understand how Exodus can occur in each one of us. We all begin the Great Work in Barashyth בראשית (which means, in the beginning), as, “the Man who loves Malkuth,” this, in order to continue with Shemoth שמות (the book of Exodus, where the plagues are explained in detail). This lecture is the last of the Gnostic Moses’s lectures.
In previous lectures, we explained that there are three degrees by means of which we can understand the Kabbalistic essence of this path. These three degrees are related with the three triangles of the Tree of Life, which are clearly observed in this glyph. They are named; “The vulgar Man of the Earth;” “The Man who loves;” and, “The Man who dwells in silence.” Underneath these three triangles is מצרים Mitzrayim-Malkuth, or what the translators of Exodus named Egypt, which appears not only in the Exodus but in many of the books of the prophets. The translators of the Bible called Mitzrayim, Egypt, which is a country that in this day and age we find in Africa, however, in Kabbalah, Mitzrayim is another name for the Sephirah Malkuth; thus, as we have explained in many lectures, let us understand that Mitzrayim is not merely the contemporary country of Egypt that we know.
Let us understand that Egypt, and also Israel, are Kabbalistic symbols; they do not concretely refer to those countries that we find in the Middle East. Egypt addresses our physicality and Israel is the man who loves, which is the Monad that everybody carries within. The children of Israel relate to the archetypes that we have to free from matter. Matter itself is represented as Malkuth-Egypt. When we read the word Malkuth we find that it ends with the letter Tav, which is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The first letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Aleph, which is also the first letter of the word Ain, which is the 13th eon. Ain is precisely where the journey, the exile of the Monad, the diaspora of the souls named in the bible Israel, begins.
The Ain has three aspects; Ain, Ain Soph and Ain Soph Aur. These are three aspects of Ain, the Unknowable Divine. The journey of the soul begins with Aleph in the Ain Soph, and ends with Tav in Malkuth. This is why when we talk about the journey of the soul we talk about את Ath, which spells Aleph Tav, and is pronounced ATH. The whole Tree of Life is enclosed in between the two letters of את Ath, moreover, if we want to add, Klipoth קליפות, the shadow of the Tree of Life, we realize that it also ends with the letter “T”, Tav. Klipoth קליפות means shells, these represent the hell underneath Malkuth. This is how we have to visualize Klipoth קליפות. It is stated:
As worms living in shells “We are profound darkness. It is written, “The light emerges from the darkness.” The Elohim emerged from the abyss and then they lost themselves in (Ain) the Absolute. Therefore, (Klipoth קליפות) the abyss is indispensable in order for the Elohim to exist.
“The inferno is (Klipoth) the womb (the shell) of Heaven. Beauty is born from rottenness. Lucifer grants us Light when we defeat him.
“It has already been said that the Sephiroth are really twelve; the Ain Soph is the eleventh and its antithesis, its fatal shadow, is the abyss, which is the twelfth Sephirah, the Klipoth of Kabbalah. The Klipoth, which are the infernal worlds, are below Malkuth, the physical world.” - Tarot and Kabbalah by Samael Aun Weor
Klipoth is the antithesis of the Ain Soph. The word Ain Soph begins with Aleph and the word Klipoth ends with Tav. About את Ath it is written:
בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ
In the beginning Elohim created - through את Ath - the heavens and - through את Ath - the earth. - Genesis 1: 1
So behold how only with the two letters of the word Ath- את, we have synthesized the entire Tree of Life and its shadow, the tree of death. Ath את is the Logos, which is beyond good and evil, this lecture is related to את Ath.
In Hebrew, the letter ת Tav at the end of any word signifies that it is feminine plural, but the letters ימ Iod-Mem at the end of the word makes it plural in the masculine aspect. This is why we say Elohim אלהים, (which is the plural of the word Elah, which means Goddess) we are uttering a plural word that addresses the Gods and Goddesses, the Divinity above. It is written:
“And the earth (Malkuth) was formless and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep (Klipoth).” - Genesis 1: 2
When we say Shemoth שמות, which in the Bible is translated as Exodus, we are uttering a plural word that means the “names,” of the Divinity below in Malkuth. Yes, the word Shemothשמות addresses the “names” of the divinity which are trapped within Malkuth, inside the matter, the earth.
Remember that in latin the word Mater means Mother; so Father-Heaven above, Mother-Earth below. It is also written:
“And (תנין Tannin. Chesed) the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters (of the river Gihon to Euphrates).” - Genesis 1: 2
“I am the sacred (תנין Tannin) crocodile Sebek, I am the three-wicked Flame and my wicks are immortal, I enter into the domain of Sekhem and I enter the region of the Flames who have destroyed their adversaries.” - The Book of the Dead and the Mysteries of Ro-stan
The Earth, Matter, the Mother, the woman down here is always eager to create, to be a mother, and not otherwise, for she has a womb in order to concretize through Yesod what is abstract, the spirit. What is abstract is above, it moves upon the face of the waters, yet, the woman comes and says: “through Yesod-sex, I am going to make that abstract concrete”. And this is why she concretizes life in Yesod, her womb; so, through Matter, Mother, we see the things in concrete not abstract.
So this is how we have to understand the Earth (Malkuth). Malkuth is feminine, thus, by means of alchemy all the archetypes concretely develop within Yesod, the womb of the Earth, meaning, within the ninth sphere of Malkuth, or as the bible says, within the formless and void earth. All of those archetypes - which are abstract, in disharmony, disorderly - are, by the Divine Mother, the Schekinah, the Divine Alma Mater, made concrete. This is why it is written that Briah (the World of Creation) is the world of the Divine Alma Mater who, when rising from Yesod-sex, makes concrete in Daath (the throat), the Logos, the word את Ath of Elohim within us.
Behold, this is precisely what we see here; the whole human scenario in which we are fighting against the darkness of Klipoth, our animality, this, in order to transmute desire into Moses, willpower, so that the longing of the Divine Mother can be fulfilled. Yet it is not easy, because our earth (Malkuth, our physicality) is where the divine archetypes are disorderly, in disharmony, or as it is Kabbalistically stated (Tohu va-bohu) formless and void.
Physically speaking, this formless and void aspect of the earth is the darkness inside us; it relates to our bestial psychology, which in Kabbalah is named Lilith and Nahemah, which are the two whore-wives of the fallen Adam.
Here in Malkuth, we all represent the fallen Adam. So we have two whore-wives, that is, two kinds of bestial psychologies from Klipoth, darkness, namely, Lilith and Nahemah. In Kabbalah, Nahemah represents the white bestial aspect of the moon in Klipoth; Lilith represents the black bestial aspect of the moon in Klipoth. In Yesod-Malkuth (water-earth), we have the Divine Alma Mater, the Schekinah, Mother Nature, which contains in Yesod (Her womb) the likeness of the light, the Spirit of Elohim, the Iod, the power of the Father. Yesod, (Her womb) is where she concretizes, or better said, where Jehovah-Elohim forms Adam into his own image by concretizing the dust; that is, all the archetypes that the Bible calls the people of Israel, which are synthesized in the 12 zodiacal signs.
The Schekinah’s longing is to liberate the archetypes from Klipoth, our darkness, and consequently it is in Yesod where she has to fight against those two whore-women which are the very root of the disharmony that we find in our psyche. It is written:
“And יהוה spoke unto Moses (the superior manas) and unto Aaron (the inferior manas), saying: When Pharaoh (the protoplasmic manas) shall speak unto you, saying, perform a miracle for me: then thou (superior manas) shalt say unto Aaron (inferior manas), Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh (the protoplasmic manas), and it shall become a (תנין Tannin) crocodile (or sea serpent in the waters of Yesod).
“And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as יהוה had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a (תנין Tannin) crocodile (or sea serpent in the waters of Yesod).
“Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments (from Klipoth). For they cast down every man his rod, and they became (תנינם Taninim) crocodiles (sea serpents in the waters of Yesod): but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.” - Exodus 7: 8-12
"A magician with the staff of the patriarchs in one hand and the Ankh cross, or Tao cross, in the other hand. He is standing on a crocodile that is waiting to devour him with its open jaws. The crocodile is Seth, Satan, the psychological “I,” the “myself,” who is always waiting for those who let themselves fall in order to devour them." - Samael Aun Weor
This is why the Divine Schekinah’s power, the Kundalini Shakti within the spinal column, represented by the rod in the hands of Aaron the priest, takes the shape of the Divine (תנין Tannin) sea serpent that fights against the תנינם Taninim (sea serpents) of the magicians of Egypt. Taninim תנינם is plural, thus, it means two serpents. Those two serpents are the two serpents or demons from the abyss with the face of a crocodile, named Nahemah and Lilith, that the Divine serpent or crocodile (תנין Tannin) of Aaron the priest swallows, or transforms. This is something to reflect upon, since it has to happen within each one of us.
Nahemah is the mother of prostitution, adultery, fornication; Lilith is the mother of sexual abuse, homosexuality, lesbianism, and all sexual degeneration which is very popular in this day and age, on our planet Earth. These two female crocodile serpents are inside us. First we have to fight against Nahemah and then Lilith. Now, the one that has to destroy, that is, to swallow those crocodile serpents, is the Divine Mother the Schekinah. Thus, the whole fight is within Yesod in our physicality. Our physicality is called the Nukva. The physical body is, and should always be, a temple of God. The physical body is a temple; it is that structure that contains all that which is holy. But as Jesus said, “We have transformed the temple of God into a cave of thieves.” So our goal is to make the new Jerusalem, the temple inside of us. To build the new temple within, that is the Great Work; to make of our body something holy, and that is a long work. This is why when the neophyte enters into the path, as you that come and listen to the lectures, it is important to remember that this is just the beginning of the exodus, since it is applied in different steps. Remember that in Kabbalah we study four worlds. The very bottom, Malkuth, is called the World of Assiah, the world of action and matter; thereafter we find the World of Yetzirah, the world of priesthood, the world of formation; then, the World of Creation, which is called Briah and is related to Ath את, where we find Tiphereth, the man who loves; and above Briah is Atziluth, where we find the archetypes. So, our perfect prototypes resided above, from where they descended into Malkuth in order to acquire meaning within it. Those prototypes or archetypes have to develop within the womb of Malkuth. Within Malkuth these many aspects of Divinity have to become Adam made in the image and likeness of Elohim.
Yet, if we as souls don't perform any sexual alchemical work in Malkuth then these archetypes remain in chaos, they remain in disharmony. So, in order perform the Great Work, we need to work with sexual alchemy in order to transform desire into a force. This force is called willpower. Animals have not any willpower, they are just lust. That is why we the Gnostics say our motto is Thelema, Willpower. Thelema is a Greek word which means Willpower. When Gnostics develop the Causal Body, they develop Moses within.
“So Moses the, servant of יהוה, died there in the land of Moab מואב (this latter word should be rendered as מאב Meab, “of the Father in heaven,” having the same occult meaning.” - Zohar), according to the word of יהוה. And he (יהוה) buried Moses in a valley in the land of (the father in heaven) Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knows of his sepulcher unto this day.” - Deuteronomy 34: 5 , 6
Thus, according to the bible, Moses died and no man knows of his sepulcher unto this day, because Moses represents the Causal Man who is born in Assiah-Egypt and who dies psychologically in Yetzirah.
The truth is that the manger and sepulcher of Moses, the Causal Man, is in potentiality within each one of us. As an archetype, Moses wants to resurrect and to develop in each one of us. Egypt, our physicality, is where Moses as a prototype is. He, in the beginning, is Willpower, which in us is about 3%. The rest of the 97% is related with the Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, which represents our own intellect or protoplasmic mind.
“And Elohim said let there be light and there was light.” - Genesis 1:3
To whom did Elohim speak the words, 'Let there be light?' It was (from the pineal gland) to the dwellers (archetypes) on the earth (Malkuth); yet, 'And there was light' refers to the light (the kundalini or Schekinah) made for the (alchemist) world to come.
“The higher light, the light of the (pineal) eye was created first by the Holy One who caused Adam (the brain), the protagonist, to behold it so that he was able to view the world at a glance. This was the divine light enjoyed by David, who in a moment of spiritual ecstasy exclaimed, 'How great is thy goodness which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee' (Psalm 36: 20), and it was the self-same light (in the pineal chakra) by which יהוה showed Moses the promised land from Gilead unto Dan.” - Zohar
So therefore, when the neophyte enters into this sexual alchemical work, the first thing that the neophyte has to do is to pass through the probationary path in order to be tested. Then the initiate has to pass through the ordeal of the guardian of the threshold and the four tests of the elements, namely, the tests of fire, air, water and earth and thereafter the nine initiations of minor mysteries, this, in order to surface, to emerge from Klipoth into Malkuth.
The first 9 initiations of minor mysteries relate to birth, to the beginning of the exodus; here the soul who is slave of Lilith and Nahemah in Klipoth, emerges, surfaces up into Malkuth for the first time. This is when the soul experiences the first lower level of exodus.
Again, this first step is called the probationary level, the very lower level which any person can pass but who has to be in chastity. It does not matter if this person is married or single. If he is single he has to practice Pranayama and to die a lot in his egotistic psychology, this, in order to pass that first step.
Now, after defeating his own particular Pharaoh or protoplasmic mind, at the probationary level, he then enters into the level of Malkuth. At this level, the neophyte now has to again face the same Pharaoh. This level is named the vulgar man of the earth.
As we explained in many lectures, the initiate, the vulgar man of the earth, has to enter into the mysteries of sexual magic in Yesod. The vulgar man of the earth has to start working with the seven serpents of fire and to create the astral solar body and the mental solar body, these are related as we explained in the previous lecture with the ordeals of the first chapter of the book of Job. The first three serpents of fire relate to Malkuth-earth, Yesod-water, and Hod-fire. The serpent of Hod is related to the creation of the astral solar body; the fourth serpent of fire belongs to Netzach-air and is related to the creation of the mental solar body.
These initiatic ordeals, at the level of the vulgar man of the earth, are placed at different steps according to the initiations of the major mysteries. The ordeals of these major initiations are extremely severe. The initiates at the level of the vulgar man of the earth gradually receive all of these initiatic ordeals and must not protest but instead double and triple their efforts of willpower in order to conquer them, since, our own particular Pharaoh will come on strongly against us.
So, our Innermost Abraham-Chesed, has to conquer with the help of the serpent. Without the help of the serpent - the Divine Mother Kundalini, that serpent which is always in the hands of Aaron the priest - we can do nothing. Abraham’s wife is Sarah, the Schekinah, the power, the Shakti that has to fight against the Pharaoh.
Sarah, the Schekinah wants to make concrete the work of Elohim, yet, the Pharaoh has two women allies, Lilith and Nahemah, who are her rivals. It is written:
“Say unto (חכמה Chokmah) wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call (בינה Binah) understanding thy knowledge.” - Proverb. 7: 4
This is why it is written that Abraham-Chesed said to Sarah:
“Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.” - Genesis 12: 13
“By Wisdom (חכמה Chokmah) is here meant the Schekinah, who is also sometimes called a sister. In inducing Sarah to say thus, Abraham was guilty of causing her to prevaricate and utter a falsehood, as the Schekinah was really with her, and becomes as a sister to every human soul that enters on the divine and higher life, It is further added, 'that it may be well with me for thy sake, and my soul shall live because of thee.' These words were addressed by Abraham (Chesed) to the divine glory (the Schekinah), their meaning being, 'that the Holy One (Binah) may through thee do good unto me and my soul preserved and saved' as it is only through the grace of the Holy Spirit (Binah) that a man on quitting earth life is accounted worthy of everlasting life...."
"Woe unto the evil minded and unbelieving souls! who know nothing, nor care to understand the doings and acts of the Holy One (Binah), therefore they perceive not that every event that takes place in the world is arranged and ordered a-forehand by him who sees the beginning and the end of all things ere they come to pass, as it is written:
“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” - Isaiah: 46:10
“Observe, if Sarah had not been brought before Pharaoh, he would not have been visited with great plagues, similar to those that afflicted the Egyptians in after years. In both cases the same term 'gedolim (great)', is applied to them. 'And the Lord plagued Pharaoh and his household with great plagues (negaaim gedolim) and the Lord showed signs and wonders great (gedolim) and sore upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household.' (Deuteronomy 6: 22.) From the use of the term 'great' we may infer that the plagues inflicted upon Pharaoh in the time of Abraham were the same in number if not in character as those in the time of Moses, and in both instances were done during night time.” - Zohar
As we see, the Schekinah, the feminine aspect of Binah has to fight within us, yet, also the Lord Binah, the masculine aspect of יהוה appears. The Schekinah has to take hold of our whole psyche, this is why our psyche or soul is always a She. When this happens, through sexual alchemy, then our psyche is called the “bride of God,” but in exile. So, the Innermost says to the Schekinah: “Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me (Chesed) for thy sake; and my soul (my psyche) shall live because of thee.”
These four initiatic ordeals are explained in the bible, in the book of Job. So therefore when the initiate finally enters into the causal world, the world of Tiphereth, the world of willpower, it is when Moses, which is the Causal body, is already completely created. It is written:
“Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped.” - Job 1: 20
“Then Job arose” which means arose with willpower. This happened after receiving the four initiatic ordeals and all the calamities that Satan inflicted over Job under the command of יהוה, as it is written:
“And יהוה said unto Satan, Behold, all that he has is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of יהוה.” - Job 1: 12
“And he rent his mantle and shave his head and fell down on the ground and worshiped.” This verse means that Chesed, the initiate started to work with more willpower developing the causal body. Because for Chesed “to fall down on the ground and worship,” means, to come down into Malkuth and worship. Job is a magician as we explained in the previous lecture. Thus the only way to work, to worship יהוה Elohim as a magician, as a priest is through sexual magic in Yesod-sex, there is no other way.
It is coming into my mind for instance in this moment, Samael Aun Weor when he was in agony in the hospital and he asked one of his children, “What is that noise outside that I am hearing?” And then one of his children said, “It is the people in the streets who worship the Virgin of Guadalupe, so they are carrying a procession through the streets and as you know, there is a lot of Catholic people worshipping the Virgin of Guadalupe.” “Oh yes,” he said, “I understand as you know, poor people. They love the Divine Mother but they don't know how to do it. They don't know that the way to worship the Divine Mother is through sexual magic, in the ninth sphere. If they knew about it they indeed would really have a great festivity.”
Sequentially, this is why it is written:
“And Job said, ‘Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: יהוה gave, and יהוה has taken away; blessed be the name of יהוה.’” - Job 1: 21
Job knew sexual alchemy. So, through sexual alchemy he was worshipping יהוה, thus, through alchemy he arose his body of willpower, named Moses, within him. When he rent his mantle and shaved his head this means renunciation; he enter into the path of renunciation. Again, when Job fall down into the earth this means also that after creating the causal body, the body of willpower, he renounces Nirvana. To shave the head is to renounce and to go down to the earth is to go down again into the ninth sphere our mother’s womb. This is called the taking of the direct path. And also relates to:
"And their eyes were opened and they saw they were naked" - Genesis 3: 7
“Which refers to (the archetypes of) Israel when they are living amidst the mud and clay of (Malkuth) Egypt and have no knowledge of the secret doctrine. Therefore spoke the prophet concerning them: "Thou art naked and bare" (Ezekiel. 16: 7). This is also why Job repeated the word "naked." "Naked came I out of my mother's womb and naked shall I return thither" (Job 1: 21). He used the word שמה Shameh (thither), which has the same letters as משה Mosheh (Moses), to show that he, משה Moses, wished to convert the strangers and that hereafter he will reincarnate and appear again to (the archetypes of) Israel (as the causal body) in order to proclaim and make known the Schekinah. These words of Job also refer to the time when (the archetypes of) Israel in captivity (in Klipoth) would perceive they were naked or devoid of the secret doctrine, and therefore said: "Jehovah has given, Jehovah has taken away, may the name of Jehovah be blessed." - Zohar
When Job said: “Naked came I out of my Mother’s womb,” he is talking about Yesod, the womb of his Divine Mother Kundalini. “Naked came out of my Mother’s womb and naked shall I return thither” Iod-Havah gave and Iod-Havah has taken away, blessed be the name of Iod-Havah.
“In all this Job sinned not, nor charged Elohim foolishly.” - Job 1: 22 Instead of being stagnant having passed all of the ordeals from the four initiations of the fire, Job started the fifth and entered the direct path and said: “Naked came I out of my mother's womb,” thus, more calamities will come, yet, I don't care, since, “naked shall I return as Moses,” thus, he descended into the ninth sphere. This is called renunciation which not too many initiates take, because when they reach Tiphereth then they enter into Nirvana and they don't renounce they don't shave their heads, they don't go down and say, “Well naked I came from my mother’s womb and naked I will return as Moses.”
“Know that the Bodhisattva who liberation changes for Renunciation to don the miseries of “Secret life” is called “Thrice honored,” O thou candidate for woe throughout the cycles.” - The Voice of the Silence
“Naked” means without attributes; to renounce everything in heaven. Renunciation is written in the first chapter of the book of Job. In the book, one step after another he loses his cattle, his camels and was facing many symbolic calamities, which we can come to understand when meditating upon them. He is losing many things, and on top of that he says, “I am going to lose more”. Behold, the book of Job is about the path of renunciation, because everything we have here in Malkuth, this physical world is according to karma; cause and effect. When people enter into this path they think that everything will be peachy, yet, not everything is so. There are lot of hard ordeals that we have to endure.
Therefore when Job enters into the path of renunciation, he goes down into the ninth sphere again, yet this time from Tiphereth, as the man who loves, into Malkuth. This, in order to face the second aspect of the exodus because he has already performed the first half. Job, even with his mastery, has only fulfilled the half of the half of the time, we would say the 50% of the time. Now he, as the man who loves, has descended again into Malkuth in order to, as Moses, remove all of the archetypes from Klipoth. This relates to the second triangle of the Tree of Life or second aspect of the exodus.
To fulfill the triangle of priesthood, is easy... practically speaking the triangle of priesthood is not easy, but when compared with the triangle of ethics it is easy. Job is entering into the triangle of ethics in order to face the hardest, the most difficult ordeals. Let us then comprehend what is the Man who loves. Who is the Man who loves? The man who loves is represented in the 6th Arcanum of the Tarot, which is the human soul between two women, namely, at his right the Divine Mother and at his left a whore. The whore in the left represents specifically Nahemah or Lilith, the two lunar aspects in Klipoth, the bottom of the left pillar of the Tree of Life. The human soul, Tiphereth, is in between the two columns and he has to choose. Tiphereth is the 6th Sephirah and is related to the 6th Kabbalistic commandment, namely, “Thou shall not fornicate.” This is because if the human soul fornicates, then Tiphereth loses everything. Beneath Tiphereth directly below on the central pillar, is Yesod, the 9th Sephirah, which is of course related with the 9th commandment “Thou shall not commit adultery.” Both commandments are related with sex, because six plus nine it fifteen, which means passion, the devil, Shaddai.
Tiphereth has to fight against Satan, who works with 15 (passion), namely; fornication and adultery, or in other words, Lilith and Nahemah. This is why we Kabbalistically find that when the initiate, as Tiphereth (the sixth Sephirah, the man who loves) descends again into Malkuth, he does it through Yesod-sex, the ninth Sephirah. Thus, we find that 6 + 9 = 15, passion. So, Job, Tiphereth as Moses, descends in order to work with Satan, Shaddai, the devil, in a higher octave. Or as it is written:
“And יהוה said unto (Tiphereth) Moses, When thou goest to return into (Malkuth) Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh (the protoplasmic egotistic mind under the law of karma), which I have put in thine hand: but I (through Satan) will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people (the archetypes) go. And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith יהוה, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even (the intellect) thy firstborn. - Exodus 4: 21-23
The former quotation is in relation with Kamaduro Tiphereth and Karmasaya Yesod. The two types of Karma that we cannot negotiate. We have to pay any of those karmas with pain and suffering. This is why many initiates who have reached Tiphereth, the fifth initiation, go into the spiral path, because they know that if they descend into Yesod again they have to face kamaduro and karmasaya, namely, the karma of fornication and adultery, respectively. These types of karma can only be payed with death and suffering. This is why many ignoramuses don't understand why the initiates who enter into “the man who loves,” into Tiphereth, when they finally conquer Satan, physically die. Ignoramuses think that mastery means physical immortality, they do not understand that the sinful body, the physical body that we have, inherited the DNA of our physical father and mother, that relates to fornication and adultery. To transform the impure body into a chaste pure body is only possible through physical death, thus, the sinful physical body has to die and a new physicality has to be created by Shiva-Binah. The corruptible physicality has to be disintegrated, this, in order for the incorruptible physicality to be created. Thus, as in the Bible, the book of במדבר Bemidbar (numbers) comes before the book of Deuteronomy, likewise does Tiphereth-Moses penetrate into Debarim (the Logoi, the Words), after leaving the wilderness.
So in במדבר Bemidbar and דברים Debarim, Tiphereth develops under the will of his own Monad which is Chesed and under his own ray which is above Chesed, namely; Kether, Chokmah and Binah. He has to act and to work under the direction of Chokmah, the Christ within his own Monad, in order to obey those laws which are above and that have nothing to do with the laws below. Tiphereth above develops under other type of laws, this, in order to overcome Kamaduro and Karmasaya, related to Lilith and Nahemah.
Initiates enter into Tiphereth and into the world of דברים Debarim, the Logoi, with their human soul... only the human soul. The goal of the human souls of the Masters who take (as Job) the straight path, the path of renunciation, is to incarnate their Divine Soul, to incarnate their spiritual soulmate. As we see, when we talk about Adam and Eve, psychologically speaking, we are addressing the human soul (Tiphereth) and the Divine soul (Geburah, named in Theosophy as Buddhi). Buddhi contains the Innermost (Atman-Chesed) within herself. So, if the initiate manages to incarnate Geburah, the Divine soul (since within Geburah is Chesed) the initiate then becomes a complete Incarnated Monad. But such a task is only for the Master that has taken the straight path, because Geburah is the Law. Thus, only Tiphereth united with Chokmah can do it. This means that when initiates reach the 5th initiation of major mysteries, the only part of the Monad that penetrates within their physicality is the human soul. Tiphereth dressed with the body of willpower is the lower part of the Monad. Tiphereth dressed with the body of willpower is Moses in Mount Horeb, the Mount of Elohim, facing the Logoi face to face. The Logoi is represented by the thorn-bush or a bush with many Iods. It is written:
“And (a single Iod) an angel of יהוה appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a thorn-bush (or a bush with many Iods), and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the thorn-bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when יהוה saw that he turned aside to see, אלהים Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses: And the Iod said - הנני hannani - behold me. And the Iod said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the אלהי Elhi of thy father (your Monad), the אלהי Elhi of Abraham, the אלהי Elhi of Isaac, and the אלהי Elhi of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon אלהים Elohim.
“Now therefore, behold, the cry of (your archetypes) the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith מצרים Mitzrahim oppress them. Come now therefore, and I will send thee (Superior Manas) unto Pharaoh (the protoplasmic manas), that thou mayest bring forth my people (the archetypes) the children of Israel out of Egypt.” - Exodus 3: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10
In synthesis, יהוה Iod-Havah is formed by many Iods or thorns; thus, a single Iod or thorn (an אלהים Elohim, a Logos), is telling Moses “Certainly I will be with thee,” in the body of will power: “Go down now therefore into the ninth sphere of Malkuth to conquer your Divine Soul.”
Behold how the different Hebrew words hide the mystery of the word, the Logos, within the different books of Moses. So, in Hebrew דבר Dabar means Word.
This is how the mystery of H’Dabar הדבר, the Logos, the word, is hidden in the bible. It is written:
In the beginning was H’Dabar הדבר, and H’Dabar הדבר was with Elohim, and H’Dabar הדבר was Elohim. The same was in the beginning with Elohim. All things were made by H’Dabar הדבר; and without H’Dabar הדבר was not any thing made that was made. In H’Dabar הדבר is life; and the life is the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. - John 1: 1-5
Whosoever incarnates H’Dabar הדבר, the Word, the Word gives power to. No-one has uttered it, no-one will utter it except the One who has H’Dabar הדבר, the Word, incarnated. The Word, H’Dabar הדבר, relates to Chokmah; the kingdom of Chokmah is the heart. Chokmah is in charge of H’Dabar הדבר, the world of Briah begins in Daath, the throat. In the world of Briah is where we find the duality of Binah. In other words Chokmah, the Logos, Christ, works through Binah, the duality expressed in the word את Ath, in the world of Briah, in order to incarnate in the initiate.
It is written: “Whosoever knows, the word gives power to, no one has uttered it, no one will utter it, but only the one who has the word incarnated. The content of the word is power, omnipotence.” - Huiracocha
In Hebrew to express the Word means to speak, as it is written, L’dabar לדבר. Behold the same three letters of the Word Dabar דבר preceded by the letter ל Lamed that unites Heaven and Earth. The three letters that spell the word Lamed (למד) form the phrase (לב מבין דעת lev meivin daat) “a heart that understands knowledge.” Lamed relates to leb, the Heart, to the work of Binah with the Heart. So when we speak the Word with the Heart, it is because L’dabar לדבר, the Word is in our Heart. The bible is understood by L’dabar לדבר, a heart that understands knowledge.
M’dabar מדבר means wilderness, and in it we again find the same word Dabar דבר. Thus, when we say Moses in the wilderness we are talking about the מ Mem of Moses in relation to the mysteries of the word Dabar דבר. The value of Mem is forty. The Forty years in the wilderness means the mysteries of Dabar דבר, the word with the letter Mem; M’dabar מדבר, the work of Dabar דבר, the Logos within the inhospitable regions of our subconsciousness.
B’midbar במדבר means numbers, which relates to the values of H’Dabar הדבר, the Word.
The plural of Dabar דבר is Debarim דברים and means words and things. So all of these things gives us a clue in order to understand how H’Dabar הדבר the Word works in Kabbalah. The Word H’Dabar הדבר is השם a synonym of השם Ha’Shem, the Name. In Greek Debarim דברים is λόγια Logoi, plural for λόγος Logos.
The mystery of השם Ha’Shem, the name יהוה
Ha’Shem השם is יהוה, the name of Elohim. Ha’Shem השם, the name יהוה, always incarnates within the causal body or משה Moses, a name that spells השם Ha’Shem in reverse. Let us now understand Dabar דבר, or let us comprehend H’Dabar הדבר, the word יהוה.
The word Genesis - בראשית Barashyth - is an anagram that explains the descent of Ha’Shem השם (the name of יהוה) or the descent of H’Dabar הדבר (the word) into matter.
The word Bath Rashi בת-ראשי is hidden within בראשית Barashyth. Bath Rashi בת-ראשי means בת Bath, (the daughter) of Reshi ראשי (my head). Who is this בת-ראשי Bath-Rashi? She is the Divine Mother.
The Divine Mother has five aspects, which is the value of the letter Hei of יהוה.
We already explained that the first triangle, the triangle of Atziluth, namely, Kether-Chokmah-Binah relates to the Holy Name יהוה Iod Hei-Vav-Hei. The second letter Hei, which is repeated in יהוה Iod Hei-Vav-Hei relates to the Ain Soph. So the second letter Hei hides the mystery of the Divine Mother Space. The Divine Mother Space is the Ain Soph, the Unmanifested Mother. The second Hei is the origin of the three primary forces Kether-Chokmah-Binah in Atziluth.
The second aspect is the Divine Mother in creation, or the Divine Mother in nature, the manifested Mother. The manifested Mother is the feminine aspect, the Hei at the left of the word בינה Binah. Thus, the Logos in Briah is Kether-Chokmah-Binah, Iod-Hei-Vav plus the manifested Divine Mother the manifested Hei.
So the letter Hei is precisely the mystery of the feminine force, the Divine Mother. Remember that the name of Elohim has two of the letter Hei(יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei) because the number two hides the feminine aspect of divinity. Nonetheless, the letter Hei is the fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, because the Divine Mother has five aspects.
We are stating that the second Hei works in the world of Briah. Thus, the unmanifested Hei descends into the first triangle, and through the Hei of the word בינה Binah, into the mysterious Sephirah Daath, and becomes the manifested Aimah Elohim, the manifested Mother Nature. Thus, this is how in Daath, between the first and second triangle, בינה Binah becomes בין Bin or מבין meivin, Abba Elohim, the Father, in the world of Briah. And this is how the letter ל Lamed of אל El (God) that unites א Aleph Head and ל Lamed heart is formed.
Behold, we are explaining how the Hei of H’Dabar הדבר, the wordיהוה, through the Hei of the word בינה Binah, enters into the heart, into the world of Briah, the world of creation, and becomes the letter ל Lamed (לב מבין דעת lev meivin daath) “a heart that understands knowledge.”
This is why Bath Rashi בת-ראשי, the daughter of my head, is the Divine Mother in our heart. The daughter is the second Hei of the Holy name יהוה. My head -ראשי Rashi - is א Aleph, namely Kether-Chokmah-Binah. Remember that Chokmah is at the right side of the brain and Binah at the left side and on top we have Kether, which is the crown chakra, this is why our head is called -ראשי Rashi. Thus from ראשי Rashi (my head) emerges the other הא Hei which is the daughter. And this is why we wrote the daughter of my head created Elohim, Bath Rashi Bara Elohim בת-ראשי ברא אלהים. Because the Elohim are precisely the children of Daath below. Remember that in Daath we find Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei Elohim. From Daath descends the other Elohim that is named Elohim Gibor, Elohim Tzabaoth and all of those mysteries that are written in the bible.
So we are addressing the world of Briah in order to explain how Bath Rashi (the Divine Mother, the daughter of my head, Bara Elohim) created Elohim, with fire-water and with the earth. What is fire-water? The fire-water is related to הא-שמים Ha-Shamim, the Heavens. Remember that the spelling of the letterה Hei is הא Hei-Aleph. Thus, when we take the hidden letter א Aleph out of the הא Hei of השמים Ha-Shamayim and join it to שמים Shamim we form the words האש-מים HaEsh-Mayim, the fire-water. So השמים Ha-Schamayim, the heavens hide the word האש HaEsh, the fire and the word מים Mayim, water.
Moreover, we also find את Ath, the Logos above in את השמים Ath Ha-Schamayim and below in ואת הארץ Ve-Ath- Haretz, and the fire-water and the earth hidden within the two letters Hei of השמים Ha-Schamayim and הארץ Ha-Aretz.
So השמים Ha-Schamayim and הארץ Ha-Aretz hide fire-water and earth, the three elements, with which Bath Rashi בת-ראשי, the Divine Mother - ברא אלהים Bara Elohim - creates the Elohim. You may ask “Well, where is the air?” Because there are four elements in alchemy. Well, in Kabbalah the letter א Aleph represents the element air, which is precisely everywhere, namely, the א Aleph in the middle of בראשית Barashyth, at the end of ברא Bara and at the beginning of אלהים Elohim and את Ath. Aleph א in Daath becomes Chesed, the רוח אלהים Ruach Elohim. In Hebrew רוח Ruach means: wind, spirit, soul, nous, air, ghost, genie, jinn, mind, etc.
This is why the next verse in the bible says: והארץ היתה תהו ובהו Ve-Hei-Aretz Haitah Tohu Ve-Bohu - “And the Hei of the earth, (the היה Chaiah or soul of Binah) was formless and void.” Chaiah היה is the soul of Binah, the Divine Mother, in us; She is the Hei of הארץ Ha-Aretz, the earth, beneath here in Malkuth, our physicality. “And the Ruach Elohim (the air, the wind, Chesed, Abraham, the Spirit of Elohim) was hovering above the face of המים Ha-Mayim, the waters.” So, the Hei of המים Ha-Mayim, the waters below is the habitat of ש Shin, the fire of the היה Chaiah, the Holy Spirit, the soul of Binah from above. The divine fire of Binah through the Divine Mother (the Hei), by means of א Aleph (the Ruach, the air), will create light through sexual alchemy.
We have talked about א Aleph, the air; how we have to breathe in order to exercise control of the fire of our own sexuality within our physicality, from the beginning until the end. If we do not know how to breathe during sexual alchemy, we cannot do anything. Aleph א is the mystery of the breath. Remember that אל El (God) expresses his power through א Aleph, his breath.
So, השמים Ha-Schamayim and הארץ Ha-Aretz hide the four alchemical elements. The Ruach Elohim is the wind that hovers upon the face of the waters; the three elements, namely, air, fire and water, represented in the three mother letters Aleph, Shin and Mem, are above the earth.
So the Divine Mother works inside of us through יהוה Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei, the four elements, through the four ordeals of the elements. This is why initiates always have to pass through the ordeals of the elements. Remember that in the first chapter of the book of Job the last ordeal is the ordeal of air. Then in the second chapter Job starts another level and in it he has to pass through the same ordeals, but in another octave. So to that end, we pass through these ordeal many times.
“And the sojourning of the children of Israel who were in captivity in Mitzrayim was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all צבאות יהוה the hosts of Iod-Havah (in Netzach) went out from the land of Mitzrayim.” - Exodus 12: 40, 41
Remember that we explained that when we are going out of the third triangle, the triangle of priesthood, we do it through the world of Netzach, which is the first Sephirah of the third triangle of the Tree of Life. In the Sephirah Netzach we find the mind represented. Moses is called the priest of the mind, the priest of Netzach. Why is Moses called the priest of Netzach, the mind? It is because in order to control the mind we do it by means of Willpower. When our mind is bothering us, and we want to control it, we have to apply a lot of willpower. Because the mind is a donkey, is a stubborn mule. And Willpower is Moses. This is why משה Moses backwards spelled is השם Ha’Shem, and the name of Netzach in Atziluth is יהוה צבאות Iod-Hei-Vav-Hei Tzabaoth. Four hundred years is kabbalsitically attributed to Netzach, and thirty years to Tiphereth.
Why thirty years to Tiphereth? It is because every hundred years is an initiation of major mysteries. But each initiation is related to the 33 vertebrae. So when we reach the 33rd vertebra, we accomplish one hundred years in each body. Thus, when the fire of the Divine Mother reaches the 33rd vertebra of Malkuth, our physical body, we accomplish 100 years.; when we reach the 33rd vertebra of Yesod, our Vital body, we accomplish two hundred years. And when our archetype named Joseph descends into Egypt then we learn how to create the Astral body in order to accomplish three hundred years in Hod.
“Now there arose up (in Netzach, the mind) a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.” - Exodus 1: 8
The first chapter of Exodus relates to the building of treasure cities, the pyramids of thought that replace the protoplasmic mind, the Pharaoh, the king of the Netzach. Thus, when we create the mental solar body, the solar mind, we reach four hundred years of age. Then it is written:
“And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child (the causal body), she hid him three months.” - Exodus 2: 1-2
Thus when it says: “And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all צבאות יהוה the hosts (archetypes) of Iod-Havah (in Netzach) went out from the land of Mitzrayim,” the thirty years is referring to the age of Moses, which is when the serpent of the causal body, the body of Willpower, (Tiphereth), has reaches the 30th vertebra. This occurs precisely in Daath, the neck, before reaching the esoteric age of five hundred years. Thus when the fire reaches the thirty-first vertebra, we have to face the guardian of Nirvana in Tiphereth; it is written:
“The sacred fire has entered the thirty-first chamber of your spinal column. You have been submitted to all types of ordeals, and have become victorious. Walk towards the Gnostic Church carrying the child of your Christified will in your arms. The crown of saints shines around your head. Enter the temple to celebrate the festivity, sibling of mine. This is the thirty-first card of the Tarot: Impediments. These two children symbolize two paths that open before you, like the great "V" of victory. You are before two paths. The first path is the Logoic path, the path of starry skies, the spiral path of the Firmament. The second is the long path of bitterness and woe that takes us to the very gates of the Absolute.” - Christ's Will by Samael Aun Weor
This is something very sacred, because when we reach the esoteric five hundred years of age, then we already know where we go, namely, to Nirvana or to Renunciation. Understand, initiates have to face the guardian of the two paths in the 31st vertebra. To know more about this read the book Christ's Will by Samael Aun Weor. In that book the master wrote about how the initiate who enters the causal world faces the guardian of Nirvana, who ask the initiate, “Which path are you going to follow now? The direct or spiral?” If the initiate answers, “I choose the direct path,” he then enters into the path of renunciation. Then as Job, the initiate says: “Naked came I out of my mother's womb (Malkuth), and naked shall I return thither: יהוה gave, and יהוה has taken away; blessed be the name of יהוה.” Thus, after the ordeal of the 31st vertebra, the serpent of the causal body reaches the 32nd and 33rd vertebrae and descends into the heart of the causal body and the initiate descends naked to desolation again, to exile. So, what in the Bible is called, relates to the renunciation of Nirvana and the return into Malkuth-Egypt.
When we read “And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all צבאות יהוה the hosts (archetypes) of Iod-Havah (in Netzach) went out from the land of Mitzrahim.” Understand that Iod-Havah Tzabaoth צבאות יהוה is the Holy Name of the divinity in Netzach. Thus, “all צבאות יהוה the hosts of Iod-Havah went out from the land of Mitzrahim,” is not referring only to a physical exodus in Malkuth, in this 3-dimensional world but to the psychological withdrawal of all of the archetypes of Israel from the four inferior sephiroth, namely; Malkuth-earth; Yesod-water; Hod-fire; and Netzach-air. If it addresses Iod-Havah Tzabaoth צבאות יהוה which is the Holy Name of the Archetypes in Netzach, the world of the mind in the world of Atziluth, it is because this withdrawal is done by means of meditation and buddhist annihilation.
The one who takes all of צבאות יהוה the hosts of Iod-Havah, the army of the mind, is Moses. He is the only one that can take all that disharmony behind the mind which is in chaos. This is why Moses is called the priest of Netzach. This is something very important to understand. Moses goes out from Mitzrayim, which is Malkuth-earth, Yesod-water, Hod-fire and Netzach-air, the four inferior sephiroth that form the cross of Matter, the four elements of matter. This is why Moses goes into the wilderness for forty years, into the Mem of M’dabar מדבר, which we are explaining here.
The army of Iod-Havah that left from the land of Mitzrahim is all of the archetypes of עולם אצילות Olam Atziluth, the world of kings or Malachim, who were trapped within the protoplasmic bodies and who were under the tyranny of the Pharaoh (the intellect). The Pharaoh, which is the intellectual animal mind that we all have, controls the army of Iod-Havah Tzabaoth, as we explained in previous lectures. The children of Israel are the archetypes or nobility of Iod-Havah Tzabaoth, that descends from Atziluth into Assiah (the world of matter), as it is written in the bible. Study Exodus 12: 40-41, so that you may understand that such a journey, return or exodus is called the straight path, which begins when we as Tiphereth-Moses reach the 30th vertebra in our causal body.
So, the exodus from Egypt to the Promised Land does not literally happen in this tridimensional world, but refers to the psychological journey towards the divine light of Atziluth; “Enjoyed by King David, who in a moment of spiritual ecstasy exclaimed, 'How great is thy goodness which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee' (Psalm 36: 20), and it was the self-same light by which יהוה Iod-Havah showed Moses the promised land from Gilead unto Dan.” - Zohar.
Such a psychological journey starts in the second chapter of the book of Job, let us read:
“And Yod-Havah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that [there is] none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth Elohim, and escheweth evil? And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause…”
He is now in renunciation, he is more humble than ever.
“…And Satan answered Yod-Havah, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now,…” The left hand is the hand of “Din” justice
“…and touch his bone (Chesed)…” The skeletal system, the bones relates to Chesed.
and his flesh (Geburah)... The muscular system and the flesh relates to Geburah, “and he will curse thee to thy face.” - Job 2: 3-5
Why is Chesed and Geburah related to bones and flesh? Because Malkuth our physicality is an expression of Chesed and Geburah.
The River Pishon that descends from Geburah in the left of the Tree of Life becomes, in our physicality, the serpent אד Od that rises from Yesod-sex as a hormonal mist from the body and waters the whole endocrine system of our physicality (Malkuth). So our physicality is the outcome of Geburah (Ida or אד Od) the serpent of either fornication or chastity. Everything depends upon how we utilize the sexual hormonal fluids of Od, the left; Od אד is the feminine serpent that Adam named Eve “because she is the mother of all life.”
The River Gihon that descends from Chesed (the right side of the Tree of Life) becomes, in our physicality, the serpent אב Ob, that goes down as rain through the central nervous system, watering, cultivating the whole of our head and throat, since we form the brain and throat with the cerebrospinal fluid.
Ob אב is masculine and Od אד is feminine. Yin and Yang are in Kabbalah אד Od and אב Ob. Ob אב is related to Chesed, the right pillar; Odאד relates to Geburah, the left pillar. As it is written:
“For Iod-Havah Elohim יהוה אלהים (Binah) had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.” - Genesis 2: 5
“And there was not a man to till the ground” means, there was no Moses (causal body) to make intercession with the divine Schekinah (in Yesod)."
“This signifies that complete and perfect (alchemical sexual) union between man and woman (Ob אב and Odאד) did not then exist because it had not as yet become a fact in the natural world, for it is added:
“And there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.” - Genesis 2: 6
“Which (alchemically) refers to the sexual desires experienced by the female towards the male. Mists rise at first from the earth, heavenwards and, after forming clouds, heaven causes them to descend and water the earth.” - Zohar
The name Job איוב alchemically has the letters of אב Ob, the solar force of the brain and throat, that, when in alchemical sexual relation to the left Od אד the lunar force in Yesod, becomes יו IO, the lunar-solar androgynism. Ob אב is the father, the right ganglion, the solar force; and Od אד is the mother, the left ganglion, the lunar force. This is why Geburah is related to the red and Chesed to the white colors. Geburah is related with the blood, with the systole–diastole of the circulatory system; Chesed to the skeletal system.
Geburah goes along with Tiphereth. Because Tiphereth and Geburah are related to the heart; they are the human soul and the Divine soul.
So the initiates that reach Tiphereth have succeeded in creating Moses, the causal body, the vesture of the human soul. Through sexual alchemy, they created the human soul; they succeeded. But now as true human beings they have to conquer the Divine soul which is feminine and this is a most difficult task, because it relates to that kundabuffer serpent which is related to Lilith and Nahemah down here in Klipoth, in the flesh. This is why Satan says : well, עור בעד עור Aur B,Od Aur, skin for skin, if you allow me to touch now his bones and flesh we will see if he is not going to curse you to your face.
Bones and flesh are not just related to our physicality, because the bones are related to the right side of the Tree of Life, which is Chesed. Abraham is related with all the bones in our body. Thus, Abraham-Chesed is hidden inside our body, behind the flesh. Can you see my bones? No. You can see only my flesh. Physically speaking we are seeing only Geburah, but not the bones, which are hidden behind the muscles and tendons and flesh. And this is why it is written that within Geburah is Chesed. Within the Divine soul is the Spirit, as above so below. Our physicality is the expression of many Sephiroth. This is how we Kabbalistically see it.
The word Aur עור, flesh signifies the red side of the Tree which is called Geburah (Power). This is why when Moses descended from Mount Sinai, his flesh - עור Aur - was red as the sun in Geburah. This means that he was acquiring all the solar attributes of Geburah in himself. He had two horns of light upon his head, because Geburah is related with Satan, and since he was conquering Satan in his flesh, he was showing the horns and light of his Lucifer glowing on his flesh, Geburah, and hidden within his bones was Chesed.
“And יהוה said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh.” - Genesis 6: 3
Thus, in order to reach the level of Moses with that glowing of the flesh, we have to overcome the sins of the flesh, we have to overcome Satan.
In the first chapter of the book of Job, Satan is working with Job in the triangle of magic. After that Satan says to יהוה: “Ok I worked with Job, your devotee in the third triangle, and he conquered. But now allow me to work with him in the second triangle with ethics.” The triangle of renunciation begins when the initiate receives the initiation of Tiphereth.
Satan continues: “We will see if Job succeeds because the second triangle of the Tree of Life is related to Kamaduro and Karmasaya. And I know him very well, because when he was fallen he was doing a lot of adultery and fornication, yet now he is renouncing, now he is trying to purify himself but I am going to apply the Kamaduro and Karmasaya to him to see if he can, if you allow me.”
“And יהוה said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life. So went Satan forth from the presence of יהוה, and smote Job’s flesh with sore boils (passional egos of fornication and adultery) from the sole of his foot unto his crown.” - Job 2: 6, 7
This is related with the incarnation of Buddhi, Geburah. To explain this we have to delve into Genesis:
“And Iod-Havah Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam (Tiphereth, Moses, Job) and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which Iod- Havah Elohim had taken from Adam, made he a woman, and brought her unto Adam. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman (Iyshsha), because she was taken out of (Iysh) Man.” - Genesis 2: 21-23
The making of the woman by Iod-Havah Elohim, when Adam is sleeping, means exile. To fall asleep means to fall into exile. To go back into Malkuth and start disintegrating the egos of Nahemah and Lilith in order to make within oneself the beautiful Eve, the Divine soul; to incarnate the Divine soul in the initiate. That is why Solomon the king wrote in his song of songs:
“Who is this, arising like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?” - Song of Solomon 6:10
This is Geburah.
Thereafter Solomon says: “Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee.” The Shulamite is the Divine soul, fair as the moon, because the moon arises from Yesod, through the left pillar. And bright as the sun because the sun also rules Geburah and is red. This is why when we see the dawning, the morning, we don't see yellow light but red, and thereafter we see Venus. So that light is the force of Geburah, coming into the initiate. And that is why when that happens the different psychological elements, which are called the philistines, the invaders, the egos, which are inside of us, at that level, say:
“Woe unto us who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Elohim These are the Elohim that smote Mitzrayim with all plagues by the power of the Word” - 1 Samuel 4:8
Which Elohim are they talking about? Elohim at the top of the left is Jehovah-Elohim. Which means Abba Elohim and Aima Elohim are the ones that work against Mitzrayim, with all the plagues. In the first book of Samuel, it says; “In the wilderness.” Because as we showed you, wilderness means the Word too, but the correct relation is, “By the power of the word.” Because it is through the word that God punishes; indeed, through the Word is how we receive punishment.
The Word is important to study. Jesus talks about the Word, how from the heart comes evil and good. So, when we talk about the word we have to be careful.
Now in Song of Songs in Solomon 1: 5,6 we read
“Swarthy I am and beautiful, daughters of Jerusalem, as tents of Kedar, as curtains of Solomon. God behold me, for I am swarthy, for the sun has tanned me. My mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.”
Who is this? This is the Shulamite, the Divine soul, is Eve. Why is she swarthy, black? Because this is how the soul is when it is in the matter, charcoal. You burn the charcoal you liberate the red fire of Geburah.
Remember that when the volcanoes vomit the lava, it is red but then it turns into black. So the particle of Divine soul, Neshamah, is beautiful but it is black within each one of us. Yes, the only particle that we have of Neshamah within, is the essence, which unfortunately is trapped within our ego. To liberate all the archetypes at that level is to build Divine Soul. One thing is to build the Human soul and another thing is to build the Divine or the Spiritual soul in order to become a man made into the image of God, male–female. So that is why you find there that when we talk about the Divine Soul inside, when we have ego, she is swarthy and beautiful, because the soul is always beautiful. Remember that beauty is Tiphereth. So this is part of Tiphereth, you might say that the word beautiful is written in a different way, but it is the same part of Tiphereth, beauty.
And Solomon, who is Solomon? Chesed. That is Solomon. In us.
“The sun has tanned me”
What is that? The force of the Ain Soph Aur descending into Malkuth.
“My mother's children were angry with me;”
Those children are all the Archetypes, the brothers of the Essence. Why are all the Archetypes angry against Eve? Why? Because she was made the keeper of the vineyard. The vineyard is related with grapes, wine, grape juice. The red grape juice is related to the Eucharist, red is also related to Geburah. So the feminine aspect descends in order to work with Adam, but Eve tastes of the apple of the Tree of Good and Evil and all the Archetypes are lost; all of her brothers, the twelve tribes of Israel because she could not keep the vineyard which is the Tree of Good and Evil, the Tree of Knowledge. This is how we are. Our left side is Ida, the serpent of fornication. Every time that we fornicate, all the archetypes are against us. All the parts of God which are inside of us are angry with us, because that divine part which relates to Malkuth, relates to creation, to reproduction, is utilized in the animal manner. So now we understand the meaning of this sentence “My mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.” - Song of Solomon
The vineyard that Eve has to keep is the sexual organs; these are watered by the tempting serpent (River Pishon) that descends from Geburah into Yesod-sex. It is the serpent that tempted Eve. This river becomes the fluids ofאד Od that go up as a mist from the earth, and water the whole face of the ground, Malkuth, our physicality; these are the lunar fluids of the serpent Ida that we have to conquer.
“And Iod-Havah Elohim יהוה אלהים (Binah) caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and (from Geburah) he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which Iod-Havah Elohim יהוה אלהים (Binah) had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called (אשה Ishah fiery) Woman, because she was taken out of (איש Ish fiery) Man (the fires of Geburah).” - Genesis 2: 21-23
Now let us read Zohar, which explains this beautifully:
“At the time,” - what time? At the time when Adam was sleeping, when God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept in order to make a twin soul for him. Remember that God said, “It is not good for Ha-Adam, that he should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2: 16-18) that is, to make a partner for this human soul and he made all the animals beasts, etc., but he did not find a helper suitable for Adam. In other words, Moses looked to the left and to the right, and when he saw that there was no partner for the man, he slew the Egyptian... God said: I am going to make a partner for Moses, for the man, so I am going to put him in exile. This is renunciation, or going into Malkuth again, and to start again and raise the serpents of light. The serpents of light refers to Geburah because from the fire of Geburah emerges the light. Without fire there is no light.
So, the Zohar says: “At the time, Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei Elohim (Binah) caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam" (Genesis 2:21). Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei Elohim alludes to Abba and Aima in Daath” then working below from Yesod to Daath. Remember that Daath is the top of Briah. The second chamber that we are approaching here. "A deep sleep" is the exile, which means Renunciation; as it is also written: "A deep sleep fell upon Abram (Chesed)..." in Genesis 15:12.
When he descended to Egypt he slept; he was in a type of renunciation as well.
“He (Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei Elohim-Binah) caused a deep sleep to fall upon Moses (Tiphereth), and as he slept - sleep is an allusion to exile (Exodus 2: 21), when he was there out of Egypt in Exile
In the phrase: "And he took one of his sides", from whose ribs did he take?
When you read and he took one of his sides you mean “Oh, he took one of the sides of Adam”, but it does not say that there. It says and he took one of his sides. It could be his own sides. Because Yod Havah Elohim is Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei and one of the sides of Yod-Hei-Vav-Hei is the letter Hei. So he took part of that letter Hei out, which is that rib in order to make the Divine soul for Adam.
“Abba and Aima took one (rib) out of one of the maidens of the Queen. She is the aspect of white "fair as the moon." Part of [God] in other words
"And closed up the flesh in its place" (Genesis 2:21) refers to the flesh about whom it is said:
"For that he (Tiphereth, the human soul) also is flesh (Geburah)..." (Genesis 6:3) because that flesh descends from Geburah to Malkuth.
The flesh of Moses (Tiphereth) is red, and it is said of him:
“The face of Moses is as Madim (Mars) the face of the sun (in Geburah). ...”
Because when the sun is in Tiphereth it is yellow like the light but when it is in Geburah it is red
This is the reason why: "(מי Mi) Who is (זאת Zath) this, is (Eve), arising like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun". - Zohar
The word זאת Zath (this) in Hebrew refers to Eve. So when we read, “Who is this arising like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun.” you may think, “Oh this is a question.” No it is not. The verse is only affirming that מי Mi (Who) is זאת Zath (this) - both are aspects of the Holy Spirit. מי Mi (Who) is above in Binah, and זאת Zath (this) is below in Malkuth; this is Eve below. With Who (מי Mi) and This (זאת Zath) is how we have to alchemically work.
Ezekiel 31: 16-17 says:
“I made the nations to shake at the sound of (Satan) his fall, when I send him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the selection and best of Lebanon (Lebanon means the kingdom of Chokmah - the heart), all that drink water (in Yesod), shall be comforted in the hindmost parts of the earth.
“They (the archetypes) also went down into hell with him (Satan) unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the nations.” - Ezekiel
The selection refers to all the people that are in chastity. From the left, Satan descends down to hell with them, after Jehovah says to him: “go and touch his flesh but keep his life.” In other words: Do your work, build the Divine soul.
To (מי Mi) whom (in Daath) art thou (Satan) thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden. ...” - Ezekiel
This verse is stating that Satan is like מי Mi (Who, the Holy Spirit in Daath, in glory); in other words, Satan is part of God, in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden. Because Satan works in the Tree of Good and Evil. Remember that is in Daath (knowledge) that the serpent appears; that is, the Tree of Good and Evil, which is the left side.
“...Yet shall thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the hindmost parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. ...” - Ezekiel
Who are the uncircumcised? They are the fornicators, those who do not transmute their libido whether male or female. Do not think, physically speaking, that when the bible addresses the uncircumcised, the bible is addressing those people who did not have a physical circumcision. Understand that the pact of the flesh “circumcision” is just a physical reminder in order to remember the true spiritual pact. Thus, when we are circumcised this means that we are in chastity, that we are not fornicating. When we are uncircumcised this means that we are fornicating, even if we have the circumcision in our flesh.
“...This is (a reminder for) Pharaoh ( פרעה) and his entire multitude, saith Adonai Iod-Havah.”
So Ezekiel explained the entire descent of the forces of God in order to start building the Divine Soul.
Concerning Geburah, let us now read Exodus:
“And Iod-Havah said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh. And it shall become small dust in all the land of Mitsrayim, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Mitsrayim.” - Exodus 9: 8, 9
As we see, this is the sixth plague, that falls into the flesh; Geburah is the flesh. And this why in the book of Job in the next graphic we find the following:
“So went Satan forth from the presence of Iod-Havah, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to his crown....” - Job 2: 7
So, behold the similarity of Job 2: 7 with Exodus 9: 8, 9, both are actually the same thing. Because Job’s physical body is the outcome of Geburah. It is his own flesh, his own physicality, as the physicality that we have here. Yet, at the level, that we are talking here, that is, on the second triangle. This is just the beginning of the second selection of Exodus.
The fire of passion is like a boil, a blain that breaks forth upon the flesh of lustful intellectual beasts. In the beginning of the straight path, such a fire of passion emerges when caused to protuberate by the devil. Indeed, the devil, Satan, knows very well how lustful we are; Satan says; “Ok, he has reached mastery and he is chaste. But I know very well all the lechery he enacted in his past lives. I know all of his fornicating egos related with passion, with the fire of Geburah. Thus, I will see if he really loves God; I am going to push all of those egos outward, into his flesh, into his own body and we will see if he will defeat those egos or be a slave to them.” These relate to Nahemah, adultery. Thus, this is how our egos of adultery and prostitution will emerge from the Abyss, protuberated by our own particular Satan; this is how Satan smites Job with that plague of sore boils. The initiate receives all of the fire of his own hell, literally in his own body. This is how the Master suffers. Woe to that Master of the fifth initiation of major mysteries, if he does not start working with the egos of prostitution and fornication and adultery, which all of us have, because there is not one single person here without those egos. Yet when the initiate reaches that level, it is when Satan starts pushing them out. If you are now annihilating and comprehending them with the help of the Divine Mother, good; those egos are the children of Lilith and Nahemah. We start with the children of Nahemah, the white moon.
If the initiate succeeds, he will be like Samson; killing that young lion on the vineyards of Timnath. Those are the very vineyards, which in the past, his lustful Eve did not keep. When Samson rent the lion, understand that such a lion is the fire; the lustful bestial fire of sex that all of us have in abundance.
So little by little, bit by bit, the analysis and comprehension of those types of egos must be achieved, this, in order to overcome that karmic passional plague from Geburah; the plague of sore boils.
Concerning Chesed, let us now read Exodus:
“And Iod-Havah said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand (phallus, Iod יד) toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Mitzrahim, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Mitzrahim. And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and Iod-Havah sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and Iod-Havah rained hail upon the land of Mitzrahim. So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Mitzrahim since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Mitzrahim all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.” - Exodus 9: 22-25
The plague of hail and fire is, in other words, Chesed-water combined with Geburah-fire. The superior waters of heaven relate to Chesed, the right side of the Tree of Life. When the heavenly water descends down into the earth, it becomes rain or hail. The opposite of Chesed is Malkuth. When related to the seven bodies of the true man, Chesed is the spirit, it is the seventh Sephirah from the bottom to the top. Chesed is the seventh but indeed it is the first if we count them from above. And the seventh becomes Malkuth, which is called the Shabbat, the seventh. So in Alchemy or Kabbalah, the physical body is the opposite of the spirit.v Why? Because the bones and flesh of the physical body are the outcome of Chesed and Geburah, our Monad. In Heaven, Chesed is inside Geburah, Chesed relates to the Spirit and Geburah to the Spiritual Soul. Chesed and Geburah are the outcome of Binah, the Holy Spirit.
“And out of the ground made Iod-Havah Elohim (Binah) to grow every tree (physicality) that is pleasant (Nahemad נחמד) to the sight, and good for food (to Chesed).” - Genesis 2: 9
Indeed, the plants and bestial bone and flesh are pleasant (Nahemad) to the sight, both are good for food; yet, they are indeed the opposite of Chesed and Geburah, psychologically speaking.
In Heaven, Chesed (our spirit, the highest part of our Monad), is on the right side of the Tree of Life and Geburah on the left. Yet, in Malkuth (the bottom of the Tree of Life), Chesed encounters Geburah, his counterpart, transformed into Nahemah, a bestial flesh; not doing his chaste will, but performing adultery and prostitution. You may ask, why? Because in heaven Chesed is mercy, charity, yet, in hell our bestial ego is prostitution and adultery. The lustful ego is doing the same thing as Chesed does, but in the opposite manner, meaning; performing mercy and charity but in a hellish way. Because of charity, because of mercy, women prostitutes offer themselves to men in order to satisfy their lustful animal desires; likewise, male prostitutes offer themselves to women for bestial pleasure. So, in other words, a soul that searches for the satisfaction of his ego of lust and not the chaste will of his own God, will find that a prostitute is pleasant (Nahemad) to the sight, and good food for his lust. Thus, this is how souls in hell commit a crime of charity against Chesed. Pornography, Prostitution is infernal klipothic charity, which is exactly the opposite of Chesed. Comprehend; when we enter into this path and ask for charity, the help of God comes through Chesed. Remember that Chesed is the spirit of God that in the beginning was hovering upon the face of the waters of sex. So, in order to receive Chesed and Geburah, Mercy and Justice, we have to practice sexual alchemy.
We receive the charity of our own Spirit when we transmute the sexual energy. But, when we fornicate, we go then towards the left side into klipoth and receive the charity from Nahemah, the mother of prostitution and adultery, which is the plague that the initiate has to fight against.
The sixth and the seventh plagues are bound together; first, the initiate receives all that fire of passion (Geburah) in the form of boils, but after that, Geburah in combination with Chesed, bring fire with hail. That is shown here in Malkuth, the physical plane. The fiery force of adultery and prostitution comes from within. If prostitution and adultery has a force outside, here in Malkuth, it is because inside of us there is the bestial magnetism that brings it out from Klipoth. If the initiate succeeds in the annihilation of all those egos related with adultery and fornication, he then succeeds in working against Kamaduro and Karmasaya. Kamaduro is a lot of pain and suffering in the flesh and heart, and Karmasaya is also a lot of pain and suffering in the flesh and heart; these are karmic sicknesses in the four bodies of sin, endured by the initiate when still alive.
Concerning Binah, let us now read Exodus:
Thereafter comes the eighth plague of Job which is the same eighth plague of Moses, which relates to Binah. Remember that Mitzrahim-Egypt, represents the earth and our physicality
“Behold, tomorrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast: And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field: And they shall fill thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. ” - Exodus 10: 4-6
“The locusts shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field” What field? Shaddah שדה means field, yet it also means the devil in Yesod. As it is also written;
“And the fifth angel (Geburah) sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit (Yesod). And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the (sign of) scorpion of the earth have power (over sex). - Revelation 9: 1-3
The locusts are the smoke or darkness; the outcome of a great furnace, the fire of Geburah. Binah is the Holy Spirit. Binah rules Yesod. Binah (the Holy Spirit, the third aspect of the first triangle) governs the third triangle, which is the triangle of priesthood or magic. So the locusts are the outcome of the fire of Geburah, because they descend from Binah to Geburah and from Geburah into Malkuth, then they emerge from Yesod, our sexual force. The plague of locusts is darkness, smoke from the fire of Geburah that covers the earth.
In other words, the initiate is working on himself trying to reach the light, perfection on himself by annihilating lust, anger, pride, every ego, because his own egos, the locusts are darkness that cover his senses, the face of the earth.
So, let us imagine what Satan is doing within the initiate; Satan says, “Let's see if you triumph over this plague... I will release all of those fires within you, that are related to שדה Shaddah, the field of Yesod. We will see if you succeed, because you will not see your Father and Mother. You won’t see your spirit. The only thing that you will see in your heaven (your mind, your brain), will be your own lustful creations.”
These, our lustful creations, are the locusts, the smoke from the fires of Geburah, which we have to transmute, to transform into light. This reminds us John the Baptist, who, by means of alchemy, was transforming locusts in the wilderness. As it is written:
“And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey.” - Mark 1: 6
John the Baptist was eating locusts and wild honey in the wilderness. So, do you see the parallel? Before the Lord Christ appears, John the Baptist is transforming the locusts, digesting them and turning them into energy in the wilderness. In other words, John the Baptist is facing the 8th plague, and, instead of succumbing to the fire of the Holy Spirit, which is pure creative fire, he transmuted it, and transmuted it, and transmuted it... just as the bee, through its digestive system, transmutes the solar fire into honey in the wilderness. Remember that במדבר Bemidbar means wilderness, במדבר Bemidbar also means, "By the word of God." Transmutation of the solar fire doesn’t only imply sublimation of the sexual libido, but also transmutation of the fires of the heart and mind. Because, if the initiate succeeds, in the end the Lord will appear and will take control of his three brains; this is how the initiate will become one with the Lord. This is the triumph over the 8th plague.
It is important to remember that we are talking about the 8th plague; do not confuse it with the eight years at the end of the second triangle, that culminates with the resurrection. Because resurrection only happens if the initiate continues and succeeds in reaching Chaioth Ha-Kadosh, the top of Yetzirah, which is Kether. When this happens, that is, after having climbed the 10 sephiroth of Yetzirah, the devil says: “Ok, now I am going to see if he qualifies the eight Venustic initiations” which the initiate has just passed in the mountain of initiations, namely, eight years of qualifications for the 8 initiations from Malkuth to Binah. In each year the devil will tempt and try to defeat him.
So, here we are only explaining the eighth plague for those who walk on the straight path. Thus, if the initiate succeeds, he overcomes darkness and is blessed. As it is written:
“Bring all your tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, said Iod-Havah Tzabaoth, if I will not open for you (ארבה) the windows of heaven, and pour on you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”” Malachi 3: 10
As you see, the same word ארבה Arabah (plural ארבות araboth for windows) is the same word for locust, used in the verse from that quotation above.
So if the initiate succeeds in defeating the locusts that are coming from his own שדה Shaddah, devil from the field of his three brains, namely, sex, emotion and mind, and transmutes them into light, then the windows of heaven will be opened unto him and he will receive the force of the Word, which is represented in the New Gospel by Jesus when appearing to John.
“In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea... And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.... Then comes Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.... And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” - Matthew 3: 1, 4, 13, 16, 17
The River Jordan is in Yesod; John is the initiate doing his work and Jesus (which means Savior) is the Word that appears from heaven, which is that higher part of John’s Being, which John is waiting for.
Concerning Chokmah, let us now read Exodus:
“And Iod-Havah said unto Moses, Stretch out thine (phallus or Iod יד) hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Mitsrayim, even darkness which may be felt.
“And Moses stretched forth his (phallus or Iod יד) hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Mitsrayim three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the (archetypes or) children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”(Exodus 10: 21-23)
The archetypes above have their light but here below we have to make light in the darkness. Regarding this the New Testament says:
“And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? Which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” - Mark 15: 33-34
Meaning the 6th hour relates to Tiphereth and the 9th hour to Yesod. Yet, when counting the sephiroth from the bottom to the top, the the 6th is Geburah and the 9th is Chokmah. Thus, the number six relates to Tiphereth and Geburah, the lovers, namely, the human soul and the divine soul united by the flesh in Yesod-sex and in their heart by Chokmah; the Heart-Tiphereth is the kingdom of Chokmah. So, the 9th relates to Yesod and Chokmah. Jesus-Christ is Tiphereth-Chokmah and the earth, our physicality, which is in darkness is the flesh of Geburah.
Why did Jesus say “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Because the lovers at the moment of darkness, which is temptation feel themselves abandoned, thus, we have to use our intuition. When it is darkness what sense do we use? We use the sense of touch, right? We just trust our sense of touch in order to walk like a blind person who is walking with his rod trying to find his way; the blind person uses the sense of touch. Likewise, this happens at that level in the initiate. He has no light. His Father withdrew from him, in order to see if he is faithful in the darkness, during temptation. Thus, in order to triumph, the initiate has to use intuition because intuition is part of Chokmah, whose kingdom is in the heart. When we use our intuition we just feel, have a hunch in our heart. We just trust the hunch of our heart.
“He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.” - Psalm 18: 11
This is how when Moses-Tiphereth brings that cloud down from heaven; he does it in order to bring the mystery of Chokmah down to the earth. This, in order to overcome the darkness in which we are right now, because we are in darkness, are we not? The many things, דברים Debarim or words, that are being said here, as we see, were in darkness and more darkness; yet, as Moses-Tiphereth, we are trying to bring the lightning down from the dark cloud.
“Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” - Revelation 1: 7
When the initiate really enters onto this path, he sees himself in Heaven, in the middle of a black cloud traveling in the air. Imagine being in the middle of a black cloud traveling in Heaven. You do not see anything, but you are there. You know that you are in Heaven because you are traveling, flying, in the middle of a cloud. The only thing that you sometimes see from the cloud are the lightning bolts and the only thing we hear is the sound of the thunder. But we have to be very courageous to be there. Sooner or later one lightning bolt will come from that cloud together with you and will send you to the earth as a prophet. And then you will say to the multitudes: “Ah, you thought that I was dead, and believed that I was not going to come back, but you were wrong. Here I am again in order to bother you and talk about the word of God.” This is how the initiates appear and disappear from the black cloud, when they are working from the black cloud at their own level.
Now concerning Kether, let us read Exodus:
Thus finally from the 9th we enter into the 10th plague, which is the last one. When then Iod-Havah Elohim says to Tiphereth: “Ok, now that you have succeeded, we have to annihilate, to destroy your three evil friends. Those firstborn that you have within yourself in your three brains, namely, the firstborn of the Pharaoh, your intellect, the Antichrist. The firstborn of the Pharaoh has to be disintegrated because his intellect is the antichrist, who does not obey me at all. Every time that I said that he has to follow my Word he has answered with his words too. He said: “Who is Iod-Havah, that I should obey his Word? I know not Iod-Havah, neither will I obey him, and so I don’t let Israel go.” So I will kill the firstborn of the Pharaoh, his intellect that sits upon his mind, his throne; even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill, which is in the heart, the one who practice the black arts; and all the firstborn of the beasts, namely, Lilith and Nahemah, will be completely destroy. These are the children of the three traitors that we call in Christianity Pilate Caiaphas and Judas respectively. Pilate is in the head, Caiaphas in the heart and Judas in the sex.
These are also represented as the three traitors of Moses, namely, Korah, Dathan and Abiram; or the three bad friends of Job, namely, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar.
So bit by bit, finally, those three demonic aspects are disintegrated, the same God does it and then the initiate succeeds at that level, coming out of Egypt. Thus, the initiate finally triumphed over the 10th plague and reaches Kether. At that level, he is what we call in Christianity a Seraphim.
But then Satan says to Iod-Havah in Binah: “Ok he has triumphed over the plagues, but, now I am going to test him eight years. If during those eight years he succeeds, I give you my signature. If he qualifies, you can take him to heaven”
Thus Satan descends again from Binah, the left side of the Tree of Life, because Satan is on the left side. From the bottom Malkuth to the top of the left pillar, the 8th sphere is Binah. The 8th sphere is in relation to Iod-Havah Elohim and from there is from where Satan works on Job. Because Satan is the shadow of Binah that descends from the left side. Thus, Satan tests the initiate every single day of every year; each year the initiate has to qualify an initiation, namely, the first initiation the first year, the second initiation the second year, and so on and so forth, for eight years literally. If the initiate succeeds in reaching the 8th year, during it is when Satan gives a very deadly sickness to the initiate, who close to death and sore by karmic times, he dies.
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 15: 51-57
Thus, if the initiate does not protest, Iod-Havah Elohim then creates an uncorrupted resurrected body for him and he finally exits out of the exodus into the promised land. This is why we see how the darkness is made in Chokmah and how in Kether, the angel of God, which is Geburah kills all the first born of the Egyptians, Mitsrayim. Yet the Archetypes of Israel are not touched because they are already purified in the darkness.
This is why Job, who represent the individual physical aspect of the initiate receives that impure sickness. Job is with boils and the three aspects that are inside of us, the three traitors of Christ are accusing him. “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God, and die.” - Job 2: 7
Let us imagine all the calamities at the very end of the straight path. Receiving, receiving and receiving evil from God, or as Job said:
“Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects: therefore despise not thou the chastening of (שדי Shaddai) the Devil.” - Job 5: 17
Well, Shaddai שדי is the Devil, he is the shadow aspect of אלהים Elohim, who as Prometheus, makes man into the image and likeness of אלהים Elohim, because this is what אלה Elah, the Divine Mother wants. But even Job’s wife is against him. Job is finally reaching at that level the end of exodus, but not the end of the straight path. This is why when the Master Samael was at that level, that is in his 8th year, he was in agony with an impure sickness in his body. But he knew that after succeeding that 8th year he was going to resurrect incorruptible. This was so painful for him. Well, every initiate that follows the straight path has to pass through the same ordeal, through the same process. Master Samael did it very fast because he is the Avatar and in past lives he did this alchemical work many times. So, regarding the time that the initiate endures doing the great work, Master Samael succeeded in doing it in a short time.
As we see these three evil friends are accusing Job and say: “Oh well if you are in sickness, receiving this time an impure sickness, it is because you deserve it, you are a sinful person. Remember that you committed adultery. Face it, you are an adulterer. And you wrote a lot about it, do you remember what you wrote. Do you remember the books that you wrote in the beginning. And now you are contradicting your own words.” About this Master Samael wrote:
“The most critical is the ingratitude of the Pharisees. They attack Christ with the very same words and teachings that they learned from the Lord. They use the words of the Lord in order to attack the Lord. How absurd it is to judge by appearance and throw stones against Christ. A horrible karma will befall the hypocritical Pharisees. The hypocritical Pharisees devolve within the submerged mineral kingdom of the infernal worlds. The Second Death and the burning lake of fire and sulphur await the hypocritical Pharisees. The Pharisee “I” exists within each person. Woe to those who do not dissolve the Pharisee “I”! Even the most virtuous men and women can fall into the abyss of perdition if they do not disintegrate the Pharisee “I.” - The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled by Samael Aun Weor
The hypocritical Pharisees, fortified by the 3 brains, accuse the initiates with the same very words that initiates used in order to teach those how to walk on the path. This is precisely the sadness of this path. All of those ignoramus pharisees who failed on this path come and reread the books of the Master Samael and say: “Ah, he was lying here. He was saying this here yet he didn’t accomplish it.” Ignoramus pharisees don’t understand that the law is applied in three grades, and each grade is a triangle with three sephiroth, that relate to the three brains. The first triangle is one part of the law, another law is applied in the second triangle, and yet another in the triangle of the top. They do not understand because they do not study, they are not initiates, they are just fornicator individuals; failed pharisees that didn’t succeed, so therefore they accuse.
“The squares of upright behavior and the octagons of the Eightfold Path, in the diverse aspects, are the foundation of the Great Work. The squares to the right and the triangles and their octagons in their diverse aspects serve as a foundation to the Great Work.” - The Gnostic Bible: The Pistis Sophia Unveiled by Samael Aun Weor
Still you find in this day and age followers of those Pharisees who accused the Master when he was alive; he was, and is still, being recused with the same words that he used when writing his books. Why? Because in order to write what you know in your head or what you speak, you use the alphabet and you write the words, and you guide. About these hypocritical pharisees it is written:
“And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying, Thou that destroy the temple, and build it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.” - Matthew 27: 39-43
And after his death they continued with their criticism because when Master Jesus died and passed through the resurrection, many enemies of the doctrine where trying to destroy his work. But they did not succeed. Because Jesus really became a resurrected Master, a Great Master.
Now, the same is happening in this same age with Samael Aun Weor. During his life he had a lot of enemies, but also after his death too he has many enemies that fight against him and use the same words, the same books that he delivered as a compassion to this humanity in order to help and offer to this humanity to enter into the Exodus. Because this is precisely what we have to do to enter into the Exodus.
But, it is up to us. In order to receive all these calamities which are written in the book of Job, such ordeals are only for initiates, for the Masters that enter into the straight path that begins in the second chapter of the book and subsequent chapters. Because the first chapter is only for the beginners. In the first chapter, once you reach Tiphereth you have then to enter into the second chapter of the book of Job, and these ordeal are applied in different levels, different steps, until we succeed of becoming a self realized Master.
Audience: The book of Job obviously shows a great amount of suffering. So, where is the middle ground between the paths, like in Taoism and Zen, and how it is a gate to escape, since basically the path is everywhere. Is the narrow gate the spiral path and the direct path together, is it east and west united?
Instructor: About the different paths that we were talking about; basically the spiral and the straight path. Well, about these two paths, the spiral and straight, many books are written in all religions. If we are explaining them in relation with Judaism and Christianity, it is because the straight path is the very same Exodus. That is the straight path. But I repeat, the straight path begins from the second chapter of the book of Job, forwards. The first entry into the Exodus relates to the first chapter, which is in relation with the different calamities that we receive in order to forge ahead into the mastery. The main thing is this; Karma is used in order to walk on both paths. We have to endure our own path according to our own Karma. And this is explained in many religions. Now, the bible contains a beautiful wisdom in which we can read all the written steps in the Old Testament, as well as in the New Testament. But we find these steps also written in other books from other religions, which in the west are not so popular as Christianity and Judaism. The main thing is this: the Bible, which is written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Chaldean and Greek is the most popular book in the western world. So therefore, this is why we use the bible in this day and age, in order to explain the straight path and the spiral path. But, if we study other religions we will find the same wisdom that we are talking in this lecture and other lectures. You will find the same wisdom but written in a different manner, in a different way. It is good to know that in this western world, in order to understand the reason and manner in which we have to study the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet and to study the Bible, that we may discover all this wisdom. Unfortunately people do not know anything about Kabbalah; they only know the Bible, but as it is literally written. About the middle path of Alchemy, it is written:
“And Moses made a Serpent of Brass,… that when one looks upon it, shall live... - Numbers 21: 7.8”
This means that the whole mystery of the middle path that we are explaining here relates to the Serpent of Brass. The Serpent of Brass relates to the left and right sides of the Tree of Life; the left is the feminine side, the lunar side, the protoplasmic side, the side of Satan, the opposite, the adversary that we have to join to the right side through the center by only by working in the center. In order to join the evil and the good, and to be like an Elohim knowing good and evil, we have to work in the center, in the middle bar of the Tree of Life, the center column. This is the middle ground where we have to enter to do the great work. Thus, step by step, we are pulling the branches of the right and the branches of the left and uniting them, making an Elohim, a God knowing good and evil. Understand, this is a long process. And it is not a matter of believing but a matter of alchemically working on oneself, of performing the exodus from Klipoth into the Absolute. Because all the Gods are children of the Serpent of Brass. All the Gods are children of the Divine Mother Kundalini, and all the Gods emerge from Klipoth, from the Abyss and they get lost in the Absolute. That is the middle path, the path of the center, where we have to face good and evil according to our own work. This is how we work. Because in each one of us, good and evil face us in different levels, in different degrees. No-one can walk the path in the same way that any other Master did. We are going to walk the path according to our own Karma; karma is always different for each initiate.
Audience:If you meditate, self observe and remain chaste but your life is free of plagues is it highly likely you are not on the straight path? Should one put himself in this position deliberately?
Instructor: Well, if you want to advance you have to defeat yourself. If you are in a position in your life where there are not too many plagues, well the plagues come according to your level. Remember the neophyte, the vulgar man of the earth, the man who loves, and the man who dwells in silence. The resurrected Masters have to descend again if they want to enter into the Absolute. Being a resurrected Master they have to descend and to enter into the ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelve, thirteen Aeons, that is, to descend in order to work with Satan again. But that is another thing out of this three dimensional world. It is just for resurrected Masters. They are out of sight. We are just dealing with us which are here in this physical world.
So, when we start working with the three factors of the revolution of the consciousness and we start working seriously every day, then you start receiving the tests of your own Satan in order to advance. But if you work with the three factors of the revolution of the consciousness every week or every month or just when you remember that we have to do it, well in the same way will you be tested. That is why when you enter the straight path, you enter a very fast path. And then the devil, like a cat will says: “Ok this is what I like, I like to see the mouse alive in order to play with it.” When the mouse is dead, the cat just turns away and says, ‘It is dead already. I have nothing to do.’” The field of Yesod is the world of the mouse with the cat. So you want the cat, Satan, to play with you, and to give you the opportunity, to work with the three factors; then your Satan will say: “Ok you are giving me opportunity as a tutor to guide you.” It is written:
“And Iod-Havah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil?”
The Mysterious Letter Iod or Soul of the Sperm
So, remember, the tutor works only if you are in the field of chastity, meaning, only if you fear loosing the soul of the sperm, the light of your life; that is, only if you fear Iod-Havah (Jehovah), in alchemical words, only if you fear loosing the Iod of your Chavah (Eve, sexual organ), then Satan will descend and tell you, “do this, do that,” right?
But, if you don’t go to the field of chastity, given that you are young and elude it, Satan will then not come to your field to test you. So Satan works according to your own level, and the intensity of the alchemical work that you do with Jehovah Elohim Binah in Yesod. But remember that Satan is a tutor from Jehovah Elohim Binah that is sent to you because you are doing the great work in Yesod, your Inner God, that is, Jehovah Elohim Binah, will say: “Ok, let us build human soul. And after that let us build the divine soul; and thereafter, let us build the Nirmanakaya, Sambogakaya, and Dharmakaya bodies… Well, these bodies are above the man who loves, they relate to the man who dwells in silence. They relate to more ordeals, more tests.
Audience: Would you suggest that an initiate could avoid facing Kamaduro and Karmasaya altogether by taking the spiral path?
Intructor: Yes; in this life obviously, the initiate that takes the spiral path avoids to face Kamaduro and Karmasaya and their severity. Remember that severity is Geburah. When you enter the straight path, Kamaduro will be severe with you, because you have to suffer, just as you made your Divine Mother and your Archetypes to suffer. Likewise will you suffer too in your flesh. But, in the spiral path they suffer but a little bit in one life and a little bit in another life and little by little they are paying their Kamaduro and Karmasaya through many millions of lives in order to reach the Absolute. And because they do it in that way obviously they are not giving to Geburah the opportunity to act severely with them. Because of this, the Logos does not descend within them, because Christ descends when someone takes the straight path only. The Logos says; “Ok I will help him to defeat that Kamaduro and Karmasaya that he has.” So, the ones that ascend through the spiral path do not incarnate the Christ. They pay their karma little by little. All of us have those karmas. But the walkers of the straight path, like Job, they really want to receive everything because that is their Will. In other words, Moses represents these different types of will. Their will is represented by Moses descending from Mount Sinai and taking the straight path. The ones from the spiral path are not as Moses. The willpower of different Gods that just enter into Nirvana say: “I do not want to go down” thus, they remain in heaven. There are millions of them. This is why when you read about Moses, Jesus, Mohamed, all these Masters are very rare, we find them in many religions; you find them in this physical world. These are the Masters that renounce heaven in order to come down and help humanity
Audience: I am just remembering a lecture that I heard on audio that said that Kabbalists also represent the Locusts is that correct? So then, Samael opens the pit of hell and …. what it does to the psychology?
Instructor: This is a good question. It has been said that Kabbalists are related to Locusts:
“The following precept is to discuss the laws concerning locusts. We learned that fish (life-force principles of Chesed) and locusts (life-force principles of Geburah) do not require slaughter, but it is their gathering (in Yesod) that makes them permissible to eat (transmute) them. Such are the sages of Kabbalah. They do not need slaughtering (by Apollyon) but it says of them, "and expired, and was gathered to his people" (Genesis 49:33). Just as the fish (life-force principles of Chesed) of the sea live in the sea (Yesod), so do the (spirit of) Kabbalah students and the sages of Daath live in the sea (Yesod), and if they are separated from Daath (Tree of Knowledge) they immediately die)” - Zohar
“And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat (transmuted his Geburah's life-force) locusts and wild honey (solar energy). - Mark 1: 6
“And the fifth angel (Samael) sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth.” Revelation 9: 1-3
"And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." - Revelation 1: 17-18
Samael is the angel that that opens the pit of hell because Samael is Geburah and Apollyon down here opens the well in order for the locusts of Binah to come out of the well. And that is Kabbalah. Kabbalah means “to receive”. Remember what Malachi wrote: “I will open for you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”Thus we must know how to receive. In order to receive we have to eat the locusts as John the Baptist. This means to transmute the life force of Geburah. When we transmute the life force of Geburah we develop knowledge, we receive knowledge. That is a blessing. So to receive blessings is the same as Kabbalah, which means to receive. People want to receive the knowledge from God but the only way to receive it is by eating locusts. And then the windows of heaven will be opened for us in order to receive the blessings, which is Kabbalah.
But here for instance you are receiving. I don’t know if it is a blessing for you to receive this type of knowledge right now, but at least it is an opening that might make you understand certain aspects of the doctrine. "It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness." So, in that sense, it is a blessing. Take advantage of it, of this type of knowledge that is given to you freely. Do not make of this knowledge that you are receiving free at this time of the end a bread of shame. Bread is wisdom. Bread of shame is when you receive the doctrine if you do not do anything good with it. So you are receiving this; we are openly giving a lot. We are really making the effort for the people to understand this doctrine. That is a blessing from heaven. But if you don’t take advantage, as many people do not take advantage of it, it is a bread of shame, and that is bad.
Audience: The soul as a black magician and the Monad. Is there also an anti-Monad that gives power to the black magician's condition? How does he get blessed if he is not eliminating the ego at all?
Instructor: The counterpart of the Monad or multiple perfect unity, is the ego or anti-Monad, or multiple imperfect unity that is strong when you do not disintegrate the ego which is related to both psychologies, Lilith and Nahemah, the two prostitutes. If you do not disintegrate that ego or multiple imperfect unity, you will then fall into hell, defeated as Samson by the invaders, the Philistines. Samson reached the half of the work as we can see according to this explanation. In other words, Samson reached the half and then Lilith or Delilah came and fornicated with him. Thus Samson lost his divine power, he became spiritually blind completely. But even being spiritually blind, he still wants to work against the Philistines, his enemies his own ego. Because when we fall and we are defeated on this path then the ego takes over. Thus, the ego is precisely the counterpart of the Monad. The ego is our own particular devil, which is really formed by multiple defects; we will call them the children of Satan. Because Satan is conquering, he is defeating us. We want to defeat Satan… well the only way to defeat him is by killing inside of us those psychological aggregates that he utilizes in order to attack us. If we do not have ego as we said the cat will turn away and say, this mouse is dead why will I go and play with him? But when Satan comes down and sees you very alive, he says: “Oh, he entered into the path and he succeeds already, but he has a lot of egos that belong to me, my children;” the children of Lilith belong to Satan, the children of Nahemah belong to Satan, and he starts saying “Ok, I am going to work with my children. And we shall see if he follows my children, or follows the will of his God and liberates the children of Israel”. So we are in between the children of Satan and the children of Israel.
Now, about getting "blessed" if one is not eliminating the ego at all, it is written:
"And (שדי Shaddai) the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And said unto him, All these things (wealth) will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then Jesus said unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship Jehovah thy Elohim, and him only shalt thou serve." - Mattew 4: 8, 9
Numbers 16: 32-35
Yet, people are used to choosing the children of Satan, namely, Korah, Dathan and Abiram, because the children of Satan gives them all of the wealth of the kingdoms of the world, and thus with that wealth they go to hell with the ego very fat and strong.
The instructors who teach the lectures and courses are volunteers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Each has years of experience teaching and working with the practices and exercises that awaken the consciousness. Since the goal of dharma, yoga, or gnosis is to follow our inner Being, and to focus on divinity not terrestrial personalities, the lecturers remain anonymous, and do not broadcast their names, faces, or personal information. They do not have spiritual titles or names, do not accept followers, and live their lives anonymously like any other person in society.
