Melchizedec Practice
The practice we will be performing today relates with the venerable Logos Melchizedec, the Genie of the Earth. If you wonder why this practice is performed at the beginning of the 13th hour, on a Saturday 13th, it is because numbers are living entities. Kabbalistically, if you know the Tree of Life, when we include the 3 aspects of the Absolute—the Ain, the Ain Soph and the Ain Soph Aur—plus the 10 Sephiroth, obviously Malkuth, which represents the Earth, is the 13th Sephirah, found at the very bottom of the Tree of Life. Therefore, the number 13 is very important. The number 13 is related with death, with psychological death.
So, as you see, there are 13 heavens, whose lights descend and are gathered in Malkuth, the Earth, at the very bottom of the Tree of Life. These lights are channeled by the intelligence of the Logos Zorokothora Melchisedec. As Pistis Sophia states:
“Zorokothora Melchisedec carrieth off the lights and leadeth them unto the gate (Yesod) of those of the Middle and leadeth them into the Treasury of the Light” - Pistis Sophia
Obviously, the physicality of those of the Middle is also Malkuth, the Earth. In other words, at the gate of Yesod, the intelligence of the Alchemists transmute those 13 lights from above, and through the eight initiations of light lead them into the Solar Absolute or Ain Soph Aur.
Are we aware of that light? Unfortunately, the answer is no. We are not aware of that light. Therefore, this Gnostic work consists of awakening, of becoming cognizant of those 13 heavens above our physicality. When we say “above,” we are talking inwardly, inside us, from our physicality towards the Ain, which is the first heaven or the Abstract Absolute Space.
Our physicality has five inferior centers, namely: intellect, emotion, motor, instinct and sex. These centers are found positioned in our physicality like so: head, solar plexus, top of the medulla, base of the medulla and genitalia, respectively. However, this practice is related with our two superior centers, that relate to our Spirit. In order to understand this better, we need to comprehend that we have a superior emotional center and superior intellectual center; two superior centers, which we must put into activity in this practice with Melchisedec.
Everyone has the superior emotional center and the superior intellectual center. In contrast to these superior centers, we find the inferior emotional center or kama rupa, and the inferior intellectual center or inferior manas, which are related with the ego. In our lectures you may have heard us talk about the 5th dimension; it is important to comprehend this 5th dimension in relation with these centers.
When we hear about hell, it is obvious that it is related with the inferior centers, because the word “inferior” itself is rooted in the word infernus.
Below the surface of the earth (which is the physicality of the Logos Melchizedec) we have hell, the infernos, which are related with the bowels of the planet and our ego. We have to understand that this hell, which is located in that dimension called Eternity, relates with the inferior 5th dimension. However, we also have the superior 5th dimension, and that superior dimension is related with the superior emotional center and with superior intellectual center, the heart and pineal gland respectively.
If we go into the center of the Earth, in the superior dimensions, we find a temple: the temple of the Logos Melchizedec, the Logos of our planet Earth. It is obvious that this temple is in the heart center of the Earth, but in the superior dimensions, not in the inferior dimensions. In the inferior dimensions, we find hell, in the bowels of the Earth. That is how we have to understand these matters.
In the same way that we say, “Do this practice with the superior emotion,” which relates to your heart, you have to feel it, your thoughts too must be in harmony with that superior emotional center. Those thoughts have to relate to the superior intellectual center or superior manas. It is in this way, through the wise use of the superior emotional and intellectual centers, that we can go, not only to the temple at the center of the Earth, but to other temples in other planets, in order to address the Logoi of those planets.
This is important, because we have to learn how to put our superior emotional center into activity. We can do this through things like listening to classical music. When you listen to classical music everyday, you put into activity that superior emotional center. And, by reading sacred scriptures like the Bible, the Qur’an, the Bhagavad Gita, and other sacred Buddhist books, we put into activity our superior intellectual center. It is through the superior emotional and intellectual centers that this practice has to be done. The heart and pineal gland are connected to these two superior centers, and through these centers we can have direct contact with the Logos of this planet Earth, whose name is Zorokothora Melchizedec.
We physically live on the surface of this planet, and the Lord Melchizedec gives life to us, a life that he gathers from the 13 superior heavens, in order for us to receive the benefits.
We are going to perform this marvelous practice of Melchizedec, in this 13th hour in Saturday the 13th.
You may sit down, however, if it is possible for you to do so, lay down on your stomach. That is the best position, because then you can enter directly, with your two superior centers, into the temple of the center of the Earth, in order to receive the benefit of our Lord Melchizedec.
Let us relax our body, in whichever position you prefer, however, I repeat: the best position is to lay facing down on the stomach. In this position, we pray.
When we pray, we put into activity the superior intellectual center or superior manas, Tiphereth in the pineal gland, his seat. We concentrate in our heart, the superior emotional center, the kingdom of our Lord Christ, and we say, we pray to our Inner God, our Innermost as follows:
“Acknowledging that I am a monster of evil, a vile slug from the mud of the earth who has no value, knowing that I am a poor sinner, I beg My father, my God, who is my real Being, and beseech Him with all my heart, with all my soul (whose seat vibrates in the pineal gland) in the name of Christ, by the power of Christ, by the majesty of Christ, to descend with me, together, towards the Heart Temple of our Lord, the Logos of the Earth, Melchizedec.”
Now, let us imagine descending with our Innermost to the Heart Temple of the Earth, in the superior dimensions. Let us see with our imagination that golden temple in the center. We visualize it and we respectfully salute the two guardians, whose unsheathed swords are crossed, guarding the entrance of this marvelous, beautiful temple that shines like gold. We salute and bend our head to the right and say:
“Jachin.”
Then, we bow to the left and say:
“Boaz.”
Then, we see that the two guardians lift their swords. In doing so, they open the way into the temple for us. Then, we start walking.
We pray to our God:
“My father, my God, my Lord, please walk with me the seven steps towards the interior of the temple, to the altar of the temple, in order to meet Melchizedec, the Genie of the Earth.”
“The fire has seven degrees of power, which are the seven degrees of power of the fire, the seven steps of knowledge. Sexual Magic converts us into omnipotent dragons of fire.” - Samael Aun Weor
Let us then imagine walking the seven steps, towards the interior of the temple. After walking the seven steps, we stop and we kneel. We kneel before the altar, and we see with our imagination a great Genie, the Logos of the Earth, Melchizedec, seated on his throne. We cross our arms on top of our chest, the right over the left, and we say:
“Melchizedec, Melchizedec, Melchizedec, venerable Logos of the Earth, we came here in order to ask thee, in order to beg thee, in order to beseech thee with all our hearts and with all our souls, to give us special assistance, special help in this particular psychological (or physical) problem that I have, in order to continue walking on the path of the self-realization of my Being.”
Now, you utter your problem, the need that you have from that Logos. Once the supplication has been made, one asks “Melchizedec” with one’s whole heart for a choir of angels in order to accomplish our supplication.
“Please help me with this issue. We know that all the forces of heaven are, through your intervention, in my physicality, in my internal bodies. I need your assistance, your help, in order for me to overcome this obstacle that is preventing me from walking towards the self-realization of my Being. Please, I beg you, with all my heart, with all my soul, bless me with this help that I am begging you to give me, as alms for my consciousness, for my soul.”
Imagine the Logos coming towards you, and placing his powerful hands on top of your head, and giving you the blessing that you are asking for.
“We beg you, venerable Logos Melchizedec to help me to control my inferior centers, so that these can vibrate always harmoniously with my two superior centers, to put them into positive activity in order to walk ahead, up to the bosom of the Solar Absolute, where the treasury of the light is found. I beg you, in the name of the Cosmic Christ, by the power of the Cosmic Christ, by the majesty of the Cosmic Christ to assist me with his light, for my soul to be illuminated, guided, always, through the annihilation of my ego. Because, I understand, I comprehend that 13 is death from my psychological ego, my sinful self. Help me to fulfill the 13 in all of my self, in all of the levels of my mind, patiently.
"I beg you, in the name of Christ, by the power of Christ, by the majesty of Christ, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, that through your kingdoms, the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms, assist me in the superior forces, to guide me, in order for me to succeed on this path.
"I beg you to assist me with a choir of Angels, with the Goros, the Goros, the Goros, Masters of the earth, angels of the earth that are under your command, in order for me to continue working seriously, in accordance with your order, the order of Melchizedec.”
Let us practice a mantra; that mantra that descends from Tat (the Absolute) Sat (the Solar Absolute). The mantra that brings the sexual force in our heart and head is Aum.
The letters Alpha and Omega and Mu are pronounced together in one breath as follows:

The mantra AUM is pronounced AOM. Open the mouth wide with the vowel A, continue with the vowel O by rounding your lips and forming a circular opening, then close your mouth and make the sound of M. Between each of these letters, seven seconds should be counted like this: AAAAAAAOOOOOOOMMMMMM. AOM is the sum total of all the Tattvas in creative function. Let us keep pronouncing that mantra mentally. Imagine that the forces of the Logos Melchizedec are descending in to your head, through his hands, are going into our heart, the altar of the temple, our own heart, illuminating us with the light of the Lord, Christ. Melchizedek is gathering the superior forces of the Solar Absolute into our heart, through our head, the pineal gland:

Let us feel that light, that life entering into our hearts.
Let us now, with our arms crossed over our chest, say:
“Venerable master Melchizedec, Genie of the Earth, king of justice, we give you thanks for allowing us to enter into your temple, and asking you for this help, that we beg with all our heart and soul for. We give you thanks, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which form the Holy Eight in the center of the planet Earth, which is your Being; that Holy Eight that unites the energies of our head and sex in the center of our heart. We give you thanks.”
Then, we stand and walk, making sure we do not turn our back to the king of the Earth. We walk slowly backwards, giving thanks to this marvelous being.
We then leave the temple, and we return into our body.
Now, we are back inside our body, and we say:
“My father, my God, my Lord, I give you thanks for allowing me to invoke you, in order to go inside the temple of the Earth, in order to receive this help. I give you thanks, with all of my heart and with all my soul. Amen.”
Let us comprehend this kabbalistically and alchemically: as an atom of Binah vibrates in our pineal gland, likewise, Binah is seated on his throne on every altar of any temple within any star. This is why Binah (intelligence) is always physically approached through seven steps, our seven chakras; those seven steps are also related with our seven bodies. The true human being has seven bodies, namely, Chesed, Geburah, Tiphereth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth. Thus, in order to consciously and objectively reach the Lord of the Earth, and any Lord of any planet, we have to walk these seven steps of Daath, knowledge. As Solomon the King stated:
(The light of) Chokmah has builded (for Aima Elohim Binah, a) house (in Daath), she (with that light) has hewn out seven pillars: She (in the lit forge of Vulcan) has killed her beasts; she (in Yesod) has mingled her wine; she has also furnished her table (in Malkuth). - Proverbs 9: 1, 2
Every Monad is Aum, a part of Tat Sat.
Tat is the Absolute. Sat is the Solar Absolute. Om is written Aum: Father-Son-Holy Spirit. This is a very powerful mantra: Aum (Om) Tat Sat. With this mantra, we make direct contact with our own, particular Aum, Father-Son-Holy Spirit, in union with Tat-Sat, the Absolute Abstract Space. This is a mantra that we can always mentally repeat, in order to be in contact with our own divinity.
We have to understand, as we explained in the beginning, 13 relates to Melchisedec. When we add the number 13 in itself we have 4, which relates to the Holy Tetragrammaton in Atziluth, the Logos Melchizedec. We can practice this anytime, in order to be in contact with that Logos. Obviously, Saturday 13th at the 13th hour is the best time. Remember Melchizedec is always there.
What is the meaning of giving thanks to God at the end? Obviously, we have to understand that we as souls always have to remember our inner God and the fact that everything that we receive spiritually comes from him, through his intervention. Thus, we have to always be grateful to our own divinity.
Amenti is the kingdom of death, related with death. Obviously, Melchizedec is in contact with dead initiates. When we say dead initiates, we don’t mean physically dead initiates, we mean those initiates that are psychological dead in the 49 levels of the mind. They are priests forever according to the order of Melchizedec.
We personally learned this practice in a monastery many years ago, then we were receiving direct instructions from the Master Samael himself in the internal planes. We learned this practice there, and we always practice it, every 13th of any month, at the 13th hour.
Of course, we don’t only practice it on that date, it can be practiced at any time, because the master indicates how to do it in the book Practical Astrology. But, we repeat, we don’t think it is written specifically to do this on the 13th of the month.
Remember, the Arcanum 4, the Emperor, is related not only with Melchizedec, but also with my inner being, your inner being, and all the monads in the infinite. 4 is related with the Ain Soph and the Trinity, the True Master, the Monad inside.
Kabbalah means to receive, our Inner God and any God is always a giver, and we are the receiver. Malkuth is the 13th Aeon, counting from above downwards. It is our physicality. Due to the fact that we are, in this day and age, living in cities, apart from nature, our bodies are very poor, wretched. So, we need to ask from the superior forces, from our Being, to fill our body with blessing, and for that, we have to be thankful to him and to her, because our Divine Mother also helps us.
We have to always be humble, and to give thanks to God, because we do not deserve anything. God is merciful, and we have to give thanks to God for the help that we receive, to acknowledge that, even being as miserable worms of the mud of the earth, God still cares for us.
Melchizedec is the Genie of the Earth. All of the Djinns, the Genii receive his personal help; they live upon his body, which is this planet. Even Jesus, being an inhabitant of Ain, the Absolute, became a priest under the order of Melchizedec.
As Samael is the Logos of Mars, Melchizedec is the Logos of the Earth.
“For this Melchizedec (מלכיצדק), king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of Justice, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.” - Hebrews 7: 1 - 4
