What spiritual school, church, movement, or group should I attend?
Many who discover these teachings believe they need a school or a group in order to learn more, or to be protected or authorized as a student. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The Schools of Mysteries
In the past, there were great schools of mysteries: these schools of mysteries were in Egypt, Eleusis, Troy, Rome, Carthage, Babylon, among the Aztecs, Incas, Druids, etc. At that time, only the priests of privileged castes were allowed to enter into initiation; then, the entire drama of “the Passion of the Lord” was represented within those temples of mysteries. But then our Lord the Christ came and publicly opened the path of initiation for all human beings. Hence, what is remarkable about Jesus Christ is the fact of having publicly represented this drama upon the old roads of Jerusalem. This is how he opened the doors of the temple for all human beings.

When the black age dawned, the schools of mysteries were closed in the physical world. Now, we have to seek those schools within, very deep within our consciousness.
The current spiritual schools of the physical world are all, absolutely all, dens of black magic...
Nevertheless, the parrots of spirituality cover their weaknesses with that parochial statement that they need these so-called schools to learn the basics. What fools. Twenty centuries have passed since the Christ came to earth and they still have not learned the basics, the first letters... These fools are believing that they can mock the holy doctrine of the Nazarene with impunity. These fools believe that learning theories is how they will free themselves. These nonsensical ones do not want to realize that maxim of Christ that says thus:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” —Matthew 6:33
Who among those nitwits has fulfilled the greatest commandment of the law of God?
The Greatest Commandment
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbour as thyself.” —Luke 10:27
Do you not know that you are the temple of the eternal living God, and that the Most High dwells in your heart?
You were taught the Our Father precisely so that you would learn to converse with your inner God, and yet you are looking for loopholes within schools. How foolish you are!
So what is the need for schools if the master is within, and he calls us?
This is why we advise our disciples not to follow anyone. Let our disciples follow their own Self. Each of our disciples has to follow their resplendent and luminous Inner Being. Each one has to adore their own “I am.”
We beg, beseech, our disciples not to follow us. We do not want henchmen or followers. We have written this book so that you, our friends, listen to your own internal Master, your resplendent “I AM.” The Innermost is your master: follow him.
Where to Find the Authentic Schools
The disciple who wants to enter the straight, narrow, and difficult path that leads us to the light has to withdraw from all spiritual schools.
We need to liberate our intelligence from all types of sects, religions, schools, political parties, concepts of country and flags, theories, etc. All these things are the abominations and filthiness of the great whore (the intellectual animal mind) whose number is 666.
The authentic schools of mystery are found in the astral plane. This is why it is necessary for the disciple to learn how to “separate” the astral body from the physical body. It is necessary for the student to learn how to enter into those sanctuaries of inner instruction in order to receive direct instruction from the masters...
Whosoever wants to learn esoteric science has to travel in the astral body, because esoteric science is studied in the internal worlds, and esoteric science is learned only by personally conversing with the masters..

What About the Gnostic Movement?
In spite of all of this, some insist on belonging to "the Gnostic Movement." About this, Samael Aun Weor said:
The Universal Christian Gnostic Movement is non-sectarian. The Gnostic movement is made up of the Army of World Salvation, of all spiritual schools, of all lodges, religions, and sects...
Practice what you will, study in any school that you like. Pray in the temple that pleases you the most, but practice Sexual Magic.
Live the Path of the Perfect Matrimony. We are not against any holy religion, school, order or sect. All of these sacred institutions are necessary. Nevertheless, we advise you to live the path of the Perfect Matrimony. The Perfect Matrimony is not opposed to any religious way of life or to the esoteric practices of Holy Yoga. The Gnostic movement is made up of people from all religions, schools, lodges, sects, orders, etc.
Therefore, that Gnostic movement is not one group. Instead, it is consisted of anyone, anywhere, who is doing the real work.
