Dear Teachers,
I am reading the lecture on Defense for Spiritual Warfare and found this statement:
"In practice, it means when we try to get something by manipulating the will of another person, we commit an act of black magic."
What about manipulating environment conditions, like farming practices these days, planting plants by conditioning the temperature, lighting, nutrition, predator, etc? Or, growing cattle, fishes? Conditioning the nature is a kind of manipulation, yes? But, I cannot find way of farming without conditioning the nature, unless I just let the plants and cattle grow without my tempering, which means it is not farming at all, but wild lives preserving. Should we go back to life like in the past history to remain pure in the path? ~ Everyone hunted in wild for meat, or gathered wild fruits, day by day, no stocking food, no conditioning.
This sounds ideal, but is not applicable in the current world I am living in. What to do? Kindly enlighten, thanks in advance.
