That explains why I could not find it! I did not search for "Triiiinnnnn" :)

Any mantra related to those two glands will help with self-observation. Both glands are involved with self-observation.

Also, can you please tell me what the objects are on the altar at the Gnostic retreats? I didn't take an opportunity to examine them but they are clearly important.

I've made some discoveries after reading parts of the Pitis Sophia unveiled and I need further clarification.

It appears that the mantra TRIN effects the pineal gland primarily, and from my understanding the mantra I (EE) also effects both the pituitary gland and pineal gland?

Yet Samael Aun Weor specifies that our sense of inner self observation stems from the Pituitary gland.

Overall I am quite confused. Esotericists say that the soul exists in the pineal gland, but the sense of self observation is found in the pituitary gland?

Also, I am studying some hieroglyphs here. It appears that Isis is interacting with herself? In one scene she is holding up two vases and facing a woman in a throne who appears very much like the first woman - she has the vulture on her head, the difference is that this time she has the sun thing on her head and a staff as well. Does this represent the fact that she is interacting with herself, or are these two different gods interacting? It seems she has a least three signatures, sometimes she is wearing a bandanna with a symbol, other times she has the vulture on her head, and sometimes a vulture with the Ra sun on her head. So a lot of that interpretation is going to be up to me, all I need to know here is if gods are commonly seen as interacting with themselves in hieroglyphs?

I have found no reference anywhere for "Trin" as a mantra. Please provide a reference for what you are reading.

In general, the mantric sound I (ee) stimulates both the pineal and pituitary glands, which are both in the brain. Both are related with clairvoyance and conscious vision. To learn more, try using the search tool on our site. There are many lectures and chapters about these glands.

It is also helpful if unrelated questions have their own topics; you are more likely to get answers that way.

Sorry about the unrelated questions; it is no matter. Any answer related to TRIN is what I am really looking for here.

Here is the reference related to TRIN: http://gnosticteachings.org/books-by-samael-aun-weor/alchemy-and-kabbalah/1210-arcanum-21.html

"Practice for the Development of Intuition

It is urgent for the devotee of the Path of the Razor’s Edge to intensify the development of intuition. This faculty resides in the coronary chakra; this chakra shines upon the pineal gland, which is the seat of the soul, the third eye. Modern scientists believe that they know more than the ancient sages from the ancient school of mysteries; thus, they deny all of these esoteric matters related with the pineal gland and take it only to the purely physiological side (with this, pretending to strike the faces of the great hierophants with a white glove). Notwithstanding, the ancient sages from old times never ignore that the pineal gland is a small, reddish-gray cone-shaped tissue located in the posterior part of the brain. The old sages knew very well that the hormone that is secreted by this gland is intimately related with the development of the sexual organs and that after maturity, this gland degenerates into fibered tissues that no longer secrete such a hormone, and then impotence arrives. An exception exists in this process and this is known only by the Gnostics.

Gnostics preserve the activity of their pineal gland and its sexual, functional secretion remains active by means of Sexual Magic throughout their entire life. The pineal gland is the center of the intuitive polyvoyance. Intuition manifests within the heart as presentments; yet, in the pineal gland such presentments are converted into intuitive images.

It is urgent for our devotees to practice the powerful mantra of intuition; this mantra is the following: Triiiinnnnn… prolong the sound of the vowel “I” and of the consonant “N,” it sounds like a bell. [Editor: pronounced as the “ee” in “tree.”]

The student submerged within a perfect meditation with his/her mind in blank, must be inundated by the silence, and then must mentally vocalize the former sacred mantra. This mantra can be chanted as many times as one wishes to do so. After about ten minutes of vocalization, the student must cease vocalizing the mantra and continue with the mind in blank for an indefinite period of time. When the great Silence is inundating us, then the experience of the great Reality comes to us."
