Hi, I am new to this forum, greetings.
As a single who has only really "practiced" abstaining from masturbation and who has fallen.

My question is : I seem to become paranoid after lengthy periods abstaining from masturbation was I still thinking about masturbation too much and possible "rewards" or is this paranoia not really paranoia at all but feeling closer to the Lord.

You need to give yourself some time to adjust to the transformations occurring from transmutation. What happens is that masturbation disturbs the waters of the mind, and when a person renounces such habits and begins to work with Pranayama, the student begins to perceive his or her true internal nature that previously was unseen due to fornication. This can be very disturbing, but it is a necessary step to recognizing one's faults. Be patient, and keep transmuting, since the constant fluctuations of thought, disturbing emotions, and physical agitation will diminish the more you work with the sexual energy. Regeneration is a gradual process. Do not expect leaps and bounds, since what you are perceiving is the true state of your psyche. Therefore, be brave, and keep up with your practice!

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
