I know somewhere in the work of Master Samael Aun Weor , he stated that no one should follow him , but follow their own inner guru, but as I go over the work of The Great Treatise of the Path To Enlightenment, I come across a verse in that work that say , "Also , Bo-do-wa said : For attaining freedom there is nothing more important than the guru . It is sufficient to learn the activities of this life by watching others , but you will not learn them well without an instructor. Likewise , without a guru , how can we succeed in traveling to a place where we have never been, having just been reborn from a miserable realm? " So my question is in the chapter on relying on the Teacher it seems as if the chapter is fitting to connect us on a deeper level with the teachings and Master Samael, being that the mind is so unreliable these practices seem helpful to train the donkey mind to obey and to become more serious in the work .
Will these practises bring us closer in relationship like Jesus had with his disciples ? Moreover, I know that the seriousness that we give to the teachings brings us the help that we need but what brings us into the heart of hearts (or inner circle)

It's important to note that the real Master has always been inside. Even when great initiates have physically taught this science, the real spiritual community has always existed and will always exist within the internal planes. As Samael Aun Weor wrote in The Perfect Matrimony:

Our Gnostic Church is the Transcended Church. This church is found in the Superior Worlds.

While there has been a physical component to Guru Yoga, it more importantly applies to practitioners' relationship to the Inner Master within the superior dimensions. Both Buddhism, Hinduism and Sufism state it is necessary to rely on the teacher, but many students, caught within three-dimensional psychology, only look for physical teachers, ignoring that these principles apply to developing the spiritual consciousness so as to investigate teachers and teachings within the higher dimensions.

Those who work effectively with the practices of this tradition will develop spiritually, granting the disciple the capacity to speak personally and receive teachings from the Guru of the Gnostics. This is what students need to develop in order to advance throughout the path, but to reach this point requires diligence, spiritual work ethic, and the will of God. For a deeper understanding of Guru Yoga, study the following resources:

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
