My 6 year old is experiencing night terrors , it has been 3 nights in a row , and I am guessing when she went to visit her grandmother she was starting to have them there too. I am just becoming aware of the situation , my wife said that she would get up in the middle of the night and come and sleep with us , but nothing like this . The night before she woke up and said she couldn't wake up , so I just put it off that she was just astral projecting , and talked to her and told her to mediate with me before she went to bed which she did. (kind of ..lol)

Tonight the same thing , it seems she in really not awake , but not sleep either. No memory in the morning of anything happening.

I looked in the occult medicine book , but I could not find anything ..

Any advice ?

At this age, the ego is beginning to incorporate into her psychology. Night terrors are experiences of the consciousness as it again finds itself trapped in the consequences of its former actions.

Teach the child how to pray to the Divine Mother for protection and help. The faith of the child is truly powerful, so encourage her to have faith and trust the Divine Mother.

If you have a traditional religion in your family, find an appropriate prayer that invokes the Divine Mother. For example, in Christianity, you can use Ave Maria (Hail Mary).

Hail Mary, full of grace.

Our Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women,

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Yeshua.

Virgin Mary, Mother of God,

pray for us with the sinning ego,

now and at the hour of the death of our vices.

Amen.

You can also give her pictures of the Divine Mother, or an amulet like a necklace or bracelet. These items will give comfort to the child, and teach her how to rely on her inner divinity.

This is a difficult experience, but an important one for the future of her soul. You can guide her towards healthy development.

Ok, so when I wrote that post it took 2-3 days to check it , and she had 2-3 more in a row night after night . So I started the prayer to the divine mother, and she has not had one since we started praying before we put them to bed... It has given me an renewed faith, and a wonderment of just how powerful these teaching are, and a renewed longing to return to that state of faith and innocent..:)
