No question, sorrow as a result of spiritual failings, specifically the orgasm, should never prevent you from moving forward. My issue is about "time and intensity" of that sorrow, and whether or not its appropriate at all.

As we've been taught, when you cultivate an attitude of tranquility, any situation which arises should be met with a peaceful serene posture.

However, the surge of emotion which results after an orgasm.. even if its accidental, becomes a pain over my heart. There is no way to remove the remorse, nor do I sense that this remorse should be removed. It lets me know I still fear the Lord.

My question is specifically, is mourning a mistake healthy? and is there a general wisdom about how to repent after the spilling of the seed. Usually by accident, but on rare occasions from temptation. I normally take some time before I can walk with some level of confidence in my development. I feel naked to attack, cast into the lot with demons, and not worthy of help. These are the emotions, and I don't fully condone them.

Thank you for your assistance!!

The soul mourns. This is normal. What is abnormal is to convert that mourning into something egotistical.

Repentance can only emerge from genuine comprehension. If someone truly comprehends a mistake, it will never, ever, be repeated. Comprehension comes from meditation.
