I'm trying to start working myself up to one hour per day with my mantras, 10-15 mins each one. What I wanted to know is if there was a certain time I had to wait after saying each Mantra before I move into the next Mantra? In addition to that question, I wanted to know when we chant INRI, do we chant just the IN when alone, and chant the entire Mantra during the sexual act? Or do I chant the INRI even when I'm alone? I do my Ham-Sah exercises, do I have to visualize the flow of the energy from my bottom chakra up to my nasal or can I have an empty mind or just visualize the Mantra Ham-Sah?

It is actually best to stick with one mantra and to maintain it as the focus of your practice, rather than diluting your efforts with too many mantras all at once. You can work with a series of mantras as given in the Gnostic literature, such as CHIS, CHAS, CHOS; INRI, ENRE, ONRO, UNRU, ANRA; I.E.O.U.A.M.S., etc. These work well together, and were provided in the writings for specific purposes.

Such can be discovered through experimentation and faithful adherence to the instructions. We should always strive to follow the guidance of the masters in working with a particular mantra or set of mantras that work together, instead of mixing too much all at once and getting mixed or no results.

In sexual magic, the couple should both completely pronounce the entirety of the mantras being worked with as given in the writings, such as INRI, I.A.O., etc. INRI is the same whether a disciple is single or working in alchemy.

As for Ham-Sah, this works most effectively when we combine imagination (visualization) with willpower (concentration). Therefore, imagine your spinal column, brain, nervous systems, and how the energy rises from the coccyx to the brain and successively to the heart.

Imagination develops progressively the more we use it, and remember: to imagine is to see. Therefore, to see what you're doing correctly, you need to imagine and awaken your conscious perception. This comes about gradually through consistent practice and diligent effort in meditation and transmutation. The more we transmute, the greater force we will have in our practice, and the more we meditate and remove the obstacles of the ego in the mind, the greater and deeper our capacities for imagination will be, making our esoteric exercises more dynamic, organic, intuitive and natural.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
