Hi Instructors,

Good day!

I've been reflecting about how the understanding of the defects works for my self.
One interesting thing always happen is that I've never get the meaning of a defect through practice "formal" meditation (the one that you sit, relax, pray, observe the mind, made the retrospection, view and review the scene of day, etc.). I've been practicing for many years 2 to 3 hours a day at morning and night.
The understanding always comes at the simplest everyday situations possible. Example: when I am jogging, swimming in a waterfall, playing an instrument, an so Suddenly I feel a feeling in the heart that speaks to me! This is it!!! Eureka (Like Archimedes)!!
Later I Just ask my Divine Mother in prayer and through Maithuna the death of these egos (that sometimes has a mental label, and most of the time not), limiting the prayer to my Mother just as "Holy Mother, my beloved one, please eliminates from my nature These (the feeling in the heart that I understood as the ego), Transforming into Holiness, Purity, Chastity, etc. for the benefit of all beings."

As well as a musician who trains without stopping for forget the technique and just play during the day of presentation, the understanding of the ego has occurred thus way for me.

I am thinking that maybe during the "formal meditation" there is a kind of tension that prevents my self to see and maybe during the other activities with mindfulness the Rigpa could perceive the reality of its imprisonment.

I've never stopped my ego meditations even that I did comprehend anything when I am doing it. I decide to guide the death according the will of my Inner been during what He shows at other hours of the day!

I'd Like to Know if it works on this manner with the instructors and also if there is a coherence to what I'm sharing!!

Blessed be all!

At your feet!

_/\_,
richard

Indeed, comprehension comes as an "aha!" at any moment, usually when we are relaxed and open. If this is not occurring in meditation practice, perhaps we are not relaxed and open! :)

Nevertheless, meditation practice is what fuels the arising of comprehension. When we eat and drink, we take in substances that give us fuel for many hours. Meditation is similar: even if experiences or insight do not occur in practice, they can occur afterward, or while we are out of the body.

Gradually, with awakening and development of skill, comprehension during meditation becomes the norm. This can take many years to reach, but it is worth every sacrifice and effort.
