Greetings dear instructors,

I would like to understand the concept of "law of attraction" in more detail.

My current understanding of it is that a practitioner is looking to make use of their understanding of the inner workings of not only the physical universe and it's laws but also of the higher dimensions and together with their ability to focus all their willpower into feelings of contentment about a particular desired outcome already being in existence, they will achieve that the future physical universe sort of builds itself around their desired outcome.

Key aspect seems to be that the practitioner needs to feel fully content as if their desired outcome was already a reality that only needs physical time to pass in order to fully manifest itself.

Now I suppose that particular workings and means of manifestation will differ from instance to instance.

1) Is it so that the manifestations in physical reality begin in the higher worlds and then travel further down? For instance in healing, when someone breaks the karmic causes behind their own illness, by realizing fully how their actions created suffering to themselves and/or others, they will naturally then change their thought pattern regarding being sick with that particular illness? Conversely their feelings and emotions about being ill will then also change and finally, they will physically cease to be sick?

2) Since we are bound in ego consciousness very much and understand quite little about ourselves, in our practice we turn to our Being as a infinite benevolent intelligence inside of us to aid us with understanding in meditation, but in the end we are still required to exercise our own willpower to make use of the gained understanding to change our reality at its causal core. Is that correct?

3) Where would prayer fit in all this? Let's say I would pray to my Being to set me on a course to a carreer with the highest potential for my awakening. Is prayer in essence me asking this higher intelligence to make certain changes in the higher worlds for my sake so that the physical reality around me aligns in a way that subtly leads me to such a career through a chain of synchronicities and other phenomena?

4) In previous question, is spiritual energy harnessed through hermetic principles and trasmutation the currency traded to our Being for it to make such higher world changes in our sake? Or is our "pool of energy" more defined as the means through which we can effectively contact the Being (and its infinite energy is accessed to achieve said change)?

5) With prayer to remove a ego, which resides in the inferior worlds, we are essentialy asking for divinity to destroy the villian who is manipulating our thoughts and feelings and a thus is a "creator" or a "manifestor" of our reality in a way, correct?

I realize that this is a lot of rhetorical question marks here. Mainly, I am looking to see if I understand these concepts correctly or not and perhaps to be guided accordingly. I will however consider any guidance as a extra blessing from the instructor answering as I don't want you to spend ages of your time on me. So if necessary, simple Yes or No answers will be more then enough.

Many thanks for your answer and for all that Glorian does for us.

No, emotions alone will not suffice. The law of attraction is activated by actions. Having positive emotions towards an outcome is good, but we also need to do something about it. Your actions will attract the outcome.

Yes, manifestation begins in the higher worlds. But depending on the illness, mere changes in thought might not be enough. You have to stop the illness-provoking actions as well. You might stop thinking about smoking mentally, but you will also need to actually stop smoking physically.

Yes, but again, this needs to be done on all levels of our existence, not only on mental or emotional level. Study how in Kabbala the Tree of Life spans over the four worlds: archetype - creation - formation - action. In order to create our good outcomes, we need to go through the whole chain.

3) Where would prayer fit in all this? Let's say I would pray to my Being to set me on a course to a carreer with the highest potential for my awakening. Our Being manages our Karma and how it manifests for us. If we sincerely pray and deserve it, our Being can arrange our Karma in a beneficial way, so that we have a better chance to attain what we are asking for. But we still have to do our part (actions), because the Great Law measures our actions and their consequences, not just our intentions.

Good Karma is earned through good actions. We can get help from the Law, if we have the necessary capital. The energy that we harness hermetically is used by our mother in order to destroy our egos (the causes for our bad actions) and in order to activate our latent spiritual capacities (which are only possible by destroying the egos).

5) With prayer to remove a ego, which resides in the inferior worlds, we are essentialy asking for divinity to destroy the villian who is manipulating our thoughts and feelings and a thus is a "creator" or a "manifestor" of our reality in a way, correct?

Yes, it is the villain who traps our consciousness. But since it is us who are trapped in the ego, we are the ones performing the actions and thus manifesting the bad outcomes.
Thank you for the clarifications Marius.

Yes of course, pray to catch the bus, but run fast. :D

Now after having that clarification, it's occured to me that rather then trying to micromanage my life through manifestations it might just be better to leave that to the Being and focus on the three factors instead.

Thanks again.

So can we use the law of attraction to progress on the path of transmutation and elimination of defects in deep meditation?
Well I’d say that the law of attraction is always active as it portrays the cascade of causes and effects from the higher worlds. To me, making use of the law of attraction means to sort of “manually” override our thoughts, emotions and actions in the physical, in hopes that eventually this “manual” shift in these higher bodies/worlds will be enough to change their “automatic” underlying programs, resulting in positive and lasting behavioral changes as well as their physical manifestations.

However, this effort may prove difficult to do, as we are essentialy going upstream and are attempting to change and influence the causal body/world in reverse. And since reality trickles down, it might just still be easier to rely on our Being to show us the causes and origins of our suffering in meditation and work with the divine to have the egos created there, eliminated.

Focusing hard on feeling certain emotions, thinking certain thoughts and doing certain actions that are going against the stream of our karma is very hard and energy demanding. It should still be done in a way and in this sense the law of attraction should be harnessed, but only after sufficient energy is firstly put into meditation on egos and their subsequent elimination. And our manifesting effort should be done in accordance with our ego comprehension and elimination.

So I think in this sense, working with our divinity will be much more time and energy efficient then solely working alone through gruesome doing, feeling and thinking. Also, focusing the rest of our energy on sacrifice for others will generate positive karma for us, that will then manifest itself according to the divinity inside of us.

Whereas when we ourselves are manifesting a certain outcome or a physical thing, while we may choose and cherrypick with more precision what the manifested outcome will be, it is still our egoic self who thinks that what we need is that thing we want. And so, that manifested quality, outcome or thing very well might be to our own undoing in the end.

So the three factors are the best way to proceed because that way it is our infinitely intelligent and benevolent divinity who steers us, not our egoic self.

Obviously it would be good to get my understanding corrected or affirmed by actual Glorian instructor.

Nobody can deny the fact that there are different social levels. There are churchgoing people, people in brothels, farmers, businessmen, etc.

In a like manner, there are different Levels of Being. Whatever we are internally, munificent or mean, generous or miserly, violent or peaceful, chaste or lustful, attracts the various circumstances of life.

The lustful person will always attract scenes, dramas and even lascivious tragedies in which he will become involved.

A drunkard will always attract drunkards and will always be seen in bars or taverns; this is obvious…

What will the usurer attract? The selfish one? How many problems? Jail? Misfortunes?

Nonetheless, frustrated people, tired of suffering, want to change, to turn the page of their history...

Wretched people! They want to change and they do not know how; they do not know the methods; they are stuck in a blind alley.

What happened to them yesterday happens to them today, and will happen to them again tomorrow; they always repeat the same errors and not even cannon shots will make them learn the lessons of life.

All things repeat themselves in their life; they say the same things, do the same things and complain about the same things.

This boring repetition of dramas, comedies, and tragedies will continue as long as we carry in our interior all the undesirable elements of anger, covetousness, lust, envy, pride, laziness, gluttony, etc.

What is our moral level? Or better said, what is our Level of Being?

The repetition of all our miseries, scenes, misfortunes, and mishaps will last as long as the Level of our Being does not radically change.

All things, all circumstances that occur outside ourselves, on the stage of this world, are exclusively the reflection of what we carry within.

With good reason then, we can solemnly declare that the “exterior is the reflection of the interior.”

When someone changes internally and if that change is radical, then circumstances, life, and the external also change.

Not long ago, since 1974, I have been observing a group of people who invaded a private estate ground. Here in Mexico such people receive the strange name of “parachutists.”

They are neighbors from the rural colony of Churubusco; they are very close to my home and that is why I have been able to study them closely.

To be poor will certainly never be a crime; however, their serious problem does not lie in poverty but rather in their Level of Being.

They fight amongst themselves daily, get drunk, insult each other, become the murderers of their own companions who share their misfortunes, and live in filthy huts where hatred reigns instead of love.

Many times I have pondered on the fact that if any one of them would eliminate from his interior hatred, anger, lust, slander, drunkenness, cruelty, egoism, calumny, envy, conceit, pride, etc., he would please other people, and by the simple Law of Psychological Affinities, he would associate with more refined and spiritual people. These new relationships would definitely bring about an economical and social change.

This would be the way out of the “pigsty,” the “filthy sewer,” for this individual…

Therefore, if we really want a radical change, the first thing we must understand is that each one of us (whether black or white, yellow or brunette, ignorant or erudite, etc.), is at one “Level of Being” or another.

What is our Level of Being? Have you ever reflected upon this? It would be impossible to pass into another level if we ignore the level in which we presently are. —Samael Aun Weor
