When an aspirant on the path fails an ordeal, does one lose energy as well or not?

Once we enters the path of the realization of the self, we automatically initiate the process of saving and harnessing our energy positively to ultimately elevate our consciousness.

To fail an ordeal therefore is to fail to take advantage provided by the ordeal to tremendously ascend or elaborate our consciousness positively.

Do we fail to transform the energy involved, yes.
Do we loose energy? Not in all cases.

Where the ordeal has to do with working with and retaining sexual energy, failure to harness the sexual energy automatically leads to loss of energy. That is given
