1. I have little money, and could not reasonably offer monetary charity to others without doing material harm to myself. What other forms of charity exist?

Yes, everything that benefits others (while also not harming yourself) is charitable. Examples are: sharing the teachings, guiding others (if the ask for it), but we can also be selfless by not allowing our egos to take over a situation. Here is a great lecture about this topic:
