Reading Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic, the author suggests a tonic to be applied to the scalp against the danger of balding. What is the actual danger? It's also not clear if there's any danger in genetic, receding hairline in men, or other forms of balding.

There is no danger being bald. The remedy is a personal preference to maintain a full head of hair.
