Hello, I have encountered mentions scattered variously throughout Samael's works of "accessing past lives", that is, remembering one's past incarnations.
However, I haven't found a concrete instruction on doing this amazing conscious work. I was wondering if any of the instructors here have had success with this? Obviously this is advanced, but I would be intrigued to know if there were any specific mental exercises we could do in tapping into this part of the consciousness.
Thank you.

The term "mind" varies from tradition to tradition, so we'll skip a comparison here, in order to avoid confusion.
What is important in the context of this thread is that you will need to use your consciousness during such practices. The consciousness is that part of you which perceives, which understands the perceived and which knows. It is that inner point inside you which experiences your physical body, your energy, your emotions and your thoughts. And it is that which can utilize positive imagination during the practice.
On the other hand, your consciousness is not that voice talking in your head, it is not the thoughts and worries in you, it is not the reasoning between two opposites, not the mechanical fantasies about something you desire, it is not the bunch of facts that you have read or studied, it is not the beliefs that you adhere to.
So in order to use your consciousness, you need to awaken it. This lecture might be a good starting point: https://glorian.org/learn/courses-and-lectures/meditation-essentials/consciousness

To clarify the formulation of your question: This is not a MENTAL exercise, this is done with the CONSCIOUSNESS.
