Hi brothers and sisters,

In the book the Perfect Matrimony there is a chapter about woman. Master Samael Aun Weor talks about how degenerated this day and age is that woman are taken from the home by the man. The Master also talks about that it pains him to see that in this day and age woman are taking care of the man, in the sense that the woman is earning money and the man stays at home.

For as far as my knowledge goes I understand that within the gnostic church the gender roles of the man and woman are respected. I am curious to hear how gender roles work in the gnostic church. There is talked a lot about how the woman should be have, but what type of treatment should woman expect from their gnostic partner? How should tasks be divided in the relationship?

However in the lectures and books I have read for so far there is not much said about how a man should treat a woman. How should a gnostic woman expect to be treated by her gnostic partner? How should tasks be divided within the house of a gnostic couple? Should the man take care of the woman, preferably, so she can go more into her feminine energy?

Couples must work out roles and responsibilities in their homes through knowing and applying their unique temperaments and skillsets, utilizing dialogue and diplomacy. This is personal to each couple.

Men should embody sacrifice and diligence, working to serve their spouse with selfless love, infinite patience, and conscious love. These gender roles are spiritual, not merely material or economic. How partners work out their economic and professional functions depends upon the dispositions and qualifications of the couple.

What matters most of all is that men embody the principles of the Divine Father, and women the principles of the Divine Mother.

Regarding how men and women should treat each, study these:
