Here it has been stated that a full moon is better to begin initiatives in, and that a new moon can lead to failure. So, then, what counts as the beginning of an initiative?

For example, let us say one is going to open a restaurant. Would the beginning be considered when preparatory efforts to start the restaurant have begun, such as creating a menu and hiring staff, or when the doors are opened for the very first time for the grand opening? Or something else?

Thank you very much! Inverential Peace.

When the doors of your restaurant open, you should do so on a waxing, crescent, or full moon. You can always create, plan, and prepare your project on any part of the lunar cycle.

The moon relates to gestation and birth. When you conceive an idea, it is embryonic. When the fetus is ready for birth, the full power of the moon or lunar currents are present. This is why the opening of the restaurant (or project), should occur on a waxing, crescent, or full moon, since the project already formed in the darkness, obscurity, or womb of the mind, and is now ready for the light of manifestation.

Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I wasn't actually opening a restaurant, I just thought it was a clear example.

What about starting new habits (or hobbies like painting) or intensifying your spiritual routine? I want to make a few improvements, and I don't want to wait for the next full moon (June 3). It should be ok to start now, right?

Thank you very much, Almustafa!

Start now when you have the inspiration. Save the crescent, waxing, or waning moon for projects.
