What is needed in order to perceive, let’s say the vital/etheric aspect of any given object, like a plant? Is a high degree of concentration enough to penetrate and see its other aspects or do you need the corresponding solar bodies to perceive it? Is it also the same in order to perceive its astral, mental, and causal aspects too?

Perception of other dimension relates to the chakras. To have this sort of experience, it is necessary to have the chakras functioning normally, energy to fuel them, a calm and silent mind, and the ability to see images internally. In synthesis, become skillful with meditation.
