Samael aun weor comes from a Hispanic background, which made me wonder. Why did he keep praising classical music and opera to the exclusion of all other forms of music?

And then one realises, classical music is essentially 100% European. Even samael aun weor himself refers to mozart, chopin, bach etc.

So the question is this, are all other races of man just incapable of producing spiritual music? The Africans never made classical music. Same for the Japanese, the indians, the Arabs etc (the Arabs are a truly special case because alot of them are Muslims and believe that music as a whole is sinful)

Like... if europeans never existed, does this mean that mankind would never enjoy spiritual music and would forever listen to degenerated forms of music??? Because if you answer no, then you will have to tell me of music that comes from the various cultures which are as good as classical music.

Also, classical music isn't that old so may I ask, what music did jesus listen to? A plain lyre perhaps? And what about prophet Muhammad who supposedly claimed music was sinful....

I love you guys and I respect your willingness to help but at times I feel that I do not get straight forward answers from you so please tell it yo me as it is.

You are taking a couple of words and magnifying them into something they are not.

Every culture has produced conscious music that reflects the values of the superior worlds.

There is also degenerated music from every culture, including - even especially - European.

Hi, sorry to return to an old discussion. If there are many forms of spiritual music, not just European classical music, can you give some examples? Samael Aun Weor hasn't. Maybe an instructor can. Not everyone will enjoy listening to Bach or Mozart and as you say, many other cultures produce spiritual music too so please provide some examples... I wish to diversify my music playlists :(
