Hello

I wonder if anyone has heard of the "death march". Is this a fake technique set up to misleed people?

So it is a simple technque when you see an ego during the day you ask for its elinmination but when you consider this this process it involves absolute no comprehension, you dont even develop anything in terms of cognizance.

Thanks

In other words, the death march was invented and propagated by lazy people. For as it was written:

In life, the only thing of importance is a radical, total and definitive change. The rest, frankly, is of no importance at all.

Meditation is fundamental when we sincerely yearn for such a change.

In no way do we want a type of Meditation that is insignificant, superficial, and vain.

We must become serious and abandon the nonsense that abounds in cheap pseudo-esotericism and pseudo-occultism.

We must know how to take things seriously, how to change, if what we really and truly want is to not fail in the esoteric work.

Those who do not know how to meditate, the superficial, the ignorant, will never be able to dissolve the ego. They will always be impotent driftwood in the tumultuous sea of life.

-Samael Aun Weor, The Great Rebellion: Meditation

Interesting that Carl Orff referred to the same concepts in his masterpiece, Carmina Burana:

Feror ego veluti = I am carried along (on the ocean of Karma)
sine nauta navis, = like a ship without a steersman (without genuine meditative practice)
ut per vias aeris = and in the paths of the air (or vain theories / intellectualism)
vaga fertur avis; = like a light, hovering bird (or vulture of death);
non me tenent vincula, = chains cannot hold me (for my mind is out of control),
non me tenet clavis, = keys (of transmutation / Da'ath) cannot imprison me (in the solitary cell of the meditating monk),
quero mihi similes = I look for people like me (who are superficial)
et adiungor pravis. = and join the wretches (in the Second Death).

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

Thanks for your reply

I remember hearing the main advocate of the death march talking about, not even meditating at all and just doing the death march but it just seemed a bit suspicious (if I'm doing my ms marple) and even worse an adulteration of the teachings.

But hopefully this may help others caught up in this practice.

Meditation is the esoteric discipline of the Gnostics.
Meditation has three steps: Concentration, Meditation, and Samadhi.
Concentration means to fix the mind on only one object.
Meditation means to reflect upon the substantial contents of that one object.
Samadhi is ecstasy, mystical joy [given by Binah - comprehension].

There is a need to search for a Guru in order for him to guide us along this internal and delicate way.
The Guru must be searched for within, in the profundity of the consciousness...
Each disciple must search for the Master inside, inside, inside.
The Master is found in the profundity of our consciousness…
The [Inner] Master appears when the disciple is prepared [through meditation].
