Testimonial: Distance Learning Course

This testimonial is regarding how the Distance Learning Course has helped me and mine. So here is the little story:
During the sign of Aquarius, two months ago, I started a personal retreat at home per the wise advice of an Instructor. During the sign of Pisces, last month, I started vocalizing for 30-60 minutes almost everyday. It was around these times that I decided to take the Distance Learning Course because it felt like my last chance.
Each session builds upon each other. I have been studying and practicing Gnosis for about 7 years, and the DLC is synthesizing it. We are only on about our 5th session. We started in February, and I was resolved to take advantage of the Aquarian New Year.
Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with. Although the picture on the DLC main page portrays the communication flowing over the phone, we are mostly on the computer. Well, I assume we are. I am, at least.
We use Zoom to communicate. We do a screen-share of the particular lecturer's screen as he or she lectures and presents the slideshows. The combination of visual and auditory learning is very helpful, and when we include the supplementary energy of the group, it is like a virtual retreat.
No one's face is shown.
The DLC is no joke. Honestly, I would not have the power to get through it if I were not practicing the Astrological exercises in tandem with the DLC (Thank you Glorian Newsletter!).
Not to spoil the agenda of it all, but I will give you an example. The practice that we are doing during this two week period is to, "Before falling asleep (always at your own particular hour), lie down, face up, on your bed. Relax all of the muscles in your body and make your mind blank. You must not think of absolutely anything for thirty minutes. This practice should be done six days out of the week." To paraphrase a lecture, I literally want to go running screaming out of the room.
This is a positive thing. I am seeing what is in my mind. Amongst the most prevalent in my mind is loneliness.
The DLC is an uplifting, motivating, and potent Sangha, in the most basic sense of the word.
I invite you to reflect on this:

On the first day of class, one Instructor said something that I thought was quite unexpected but actually understand more as we progress through the course. She said something like, "I hope that you all get as much from taking the course as we get from giving it." Those may not be the exact words, yet that is how I remember it.
After the completion of the course, I hope to become my own Instructor, to learn to Instruct myself. I am trying to learn to follow my Innermost, and the DLC is showing me how.
...There is more to be said, yet discretion is the better part of valor.
If you, fellow Students as well as Instructors, have anything to say, it would be much appreciated. Thank you all for all that you do!
