Greetings,

What are the chances that all these teachings will serve nothing more than to drive me deeper into the Abyss? It seems as we carry out the work, the great beast within me is just growing and becoming more and more agitated. It is as if I am a very curious explorer who has managed to build myself a vessel capable of exploring the lesser known parts of the Earth. Down in the deep darkness I have discovered a giant monster. In my curiosity, I shine my lights upon the beast to get a better look. As the light hits his eye, he squints in a sinister manner. I can see the potential for this great beast to unleash its fury upon me and yet I continue. Poking and prodding I cause it to become further aggravated day by day. How long before you break your chains that I have fastened around you great beast? At what hour will my tinkering drive you into a fully manifested frenzy. Feeding upon every curiosity that I pursue. The water begins to boil with your rage. I don't know how much longer my vessel can withstand it. Oh Father forgive me, for I have awakened the great beast and I fear in my folly I have unleashed this monster unto humanity. How oh Lord, can I place your yoke upon him?

Informed that Elisha was in Dothan, he [the King of Aram] sent there a strong force with horses and chariots. They arrived by night and surrounded the city. Early the next morning, when the attendant of the man of God arose and went out, he saw the force with its horses and chariots surrounding the city. "Alas!" he said to Elisha. "What shall we do, my lord?" "Do not be afraid," Elisha answered. "Our side outnumbers theirs." Then he prayed, "O Lord, open his eyes, that he may see." And the Lord opened the eyes of the servant, so that he saw the mountainside filled with horses and fiery chariots around Elisha. - 2 Kings 6:13-17

Although the odds look grim, remember that God is on your side, fighting, often unseen, on your behalf. But recall the lesson from the Israelites' battle with Amalek:

So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. - Exodus 17:10-12

Fortify your willpower (Moses) with sexual transmutation (the stone), and establish yourself in psychological equilibrium and Self-remembering (Moses with hands aloft, praying to God).

Meditate. Pray. And have hope. God can win this day. And Joshua will "discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword." (Exodus 17:13)
