Greetings,
This question is for instructor/instructors who had similar personal experience or has knowledge in what I am about to ask.
Today taking a nap, before waking up and trying to remember dreams (I always try to remember dreams before waking up) my physical body refused to wake up from sleep (probably remembering dreams takes a lot of willpower and often you fall into sleeping and seeing dreams again).
So I started to dream again and transitioned into dream state. Well I woke up in a dream (seemed like usual astral projection/lucid dreaming).
Having experience before with my astral body I noticed there was something different. I did finger pull technique to make sure I am dreaming (my finger became a bit longer).
And as usual senses transfered to physical body and I felt physically how finger snapped back into place.
Well then I proceeded to look around. It was a kitchen where I live. Thinked "Ok, it looks like a dream state". But what I noticed that controling that body, I was in, took tremendous amount of willpower, concentration and it was slow to respond to my will. I had a feint thought that I am actually using my mental body instead of an astral body.
I looked throught window and yelled "Take me out/wake me up from this "matrix!" There was transition.
I was in interesting place. I saw what looked like people. Again body was slow to respond to willpower, it felt more distant than astral body, more vague, and place was less vivid.
I came near male one figure and told him "You are not awake, you are dreaming, wake up" or something of a sorts. And in a moment it disintegrated/died/faded away.
I thought "That was really strange, maybe I am in sub-conscious using my mental body? Maybe these people are my egos?".
I proceeded to investigate further. Saw something like diferent sections/islands. One was some sort of robotic trash dump or something like that (later on I figure out it was some kind of sub-conscious region where my memories of insignificant items/stuff lays around, like how they look and etc, pure copies of physical things). Another one was where I was, where were some "people" and another one was pretty dark region, where you can get through that "robotic trash dump". That dark region I wanted to investigate.
Then saw a female. Felt huge sexual attraction, felt desire to hug her (erotically). She made her actions faster and hugged me, dropped me on the floor and in sexual manner tried to start sexual union with me. With great struggle I managed to resist and when I pushed her back (or something like that) she, like that male figure, disintegrated/died/faded.
After that quickly in her place appeared next female figure. This time I avoided saying that she is asleep and asked can you take me to that dark region.
We went. After we were in that robotic region I mentioned before I felt that my physical body wishes to wake up and it takes more and more willpower and concentration to stay there and also [mental?] body takes even more time to respond to my will. I urged that female if we can move there faster. She stopped. I sarted to wake up in physical body, but forced myself to come back. Feeling that I ran out of time I told her "You are dreaming" or something like that (in hopes if that is a real person to wake her consciousness). She started to disintegrate/die/fade. I thought "Not this again!". Then put my right hand on her back and started healing magic. Green energy started to form from my right hand and go to her back in chest region. To do magic was unusually difficult, way more difficult than with astral body (well I don't know for sure that I was using mental body yet, that I am trying to figure out). It took tremendous amounts of willpower and concentration. I healed her, saw that she changed her face, her hair color changed to white too. She rotated towards me. The moment I saw her I though "Oh, not you!" and woke up.
I have no idea what that person was and why I thought that (probably looked like some person from a story or movie or whatnot and I made association and symbolically I saw those bad values of that character in that appearance).
I am sorry for long story. I wrote it all in case it will help somebody understand things from my personal experience and for instructors to be able to understand my questions better.
So there are few questions:
1. Is mental projection possible like astral projection?
2. Was that actually mental projection with mental body (the projection was right before waking up from bed, but instead of instinctually getting up, I used my mind to go)?
3 .One can travel with mental body through his sub-conscious and it was exactly that in that story I wrote about?
4. Those people where probably egos, right?
5. Maybe it was just a slumbering-awake conscious state and I had little control of my astral body that's why it took so much willpower, concentration and was slow to respond?
6. All other answers/thoughts/insights instructor may have.
Thank you for your time reading this.
Warm Regards,

P.S. I appologise for any spelling or grammar mistakes and if some things were difficult to understand because of this. Thought process of non native English speaker is different, and even though I work on my English years and years I still have a lot to improve.

P.P.S. Fixed text and re-posted/edited whole page. Please delete old one if I will be late to do that.

1. Yes.

2. Projections in the mental body are like projections in the astral body. The same procedure applies. Discriminating between the two dimensions takes a lot of intuition and understanding.

3. Only you can determine what dimension you were in. Meditate on what you experienced.

4. You have to meditate on the relationship of the dream's symbols to your daily life in order to achieve comprehension.

5. This experience is showing you something. You lacked willpower to control your experiences, which means you might need more willpower in daily life to control your inner world.

6. Meditate on your experiences. :)

Speaking of willpower, if I'm correct, when we are chaste and we properly transmute our sexual energy, we gain will power/wakefulness/concentration? Thus, this is why some practitioners have the potential to enter Samadhi or Dyana whilst the body is active or undergoing tremendous physical stress?

So to sum things up, we are both right :)
I lack some things, and need to comprehend things, by what you said.
But also my own experience and intuition shows exactly what body I used and that I can hardly control my mind.
And it was not really significant in which plane I was: astral or mental, as it was symbolic and also projections of my own sub-consciousness.
Thank you again for your work analyzing and taking your time to read what I wrote.
Best Wishes,

Regarding question No. 1 is that I meant that is mental projection possible in same way as astral project, i.e. you use your mental body to walk, fly, do actions and etc. same way you do with astral body?
