My husband and i have begun practicing sexual alchemy... I have been a bit confused while observing my consciousness during the act. I feel that I have an understanding of the role of "Fire" in the sexual union. The two of us have good chemistry in this respect and I am fiinding new heights in my emotional center and so I am in new territory so to speak when it comes to observing my psychological state. It's hard to detect if when i feel excitement at our connection I'm getting "carried away" in lust or if I am experiencing "Divine Ecstasy". I am trying not to be focused on sensations as much I am the emotional/energetic connection between us, and give my best effort to sense the presence of God within and around us. But, sensations of pleasure are a part of the practice, and it seems natural to enjoy them. Can you speak about the line between lust and love in this circumstance? It seems to me that it is a tricky distinction.
Thank you so much :) (((Inverential Peace)))

"Sexual pleasure is a legitimate right of the human being." - Samael Aun Weor, The Three Mountains

You are doing it: by learning about consciousness and its relationship to the emotional center. Just observe what you experience in all three brains, but without being identified with any of them. The superior emotions appear slowly and gradually, like the arrival of Spring.

Until the ego is eliminated completely, lust is present, so be aware of it, and work on it. Along the way, the experience of superior emotions—and comprehension of how you reached their arrival (i.e. through chastity)—is a direct antidote to the power of lust to seduce us. When you genuinely comprehend chastity and what it brings with it, lust becomes powerless. Without this comprehension, lust remains very powerful.
