If I'm correct, in general, for the Gnostic who didn't reach full liberation during there last humanoid life, there experience of the inferior realm would be at the lowest sphere, rather than the mild limbo like many of their previous life experiences, since they are beginning the entire cycle anew and must again climb through mineral, animal, and so forth?
"Rebirth" is a physical phenomenon. Our psyche exists in the internal worlds perpetually, without the phenomena of "birth" or "death." Therefore, the conditioned parts of the psyche are in the hell realms now, in levels, according to their density. The upper regions of that world are not "hellish," since they merely reflect the less dense aspects of the psyche. The first level, for example, is practically indistinguishable from the physical world on a visual level. That is why when dreaming people do not realize they are dreaming or in the submerged worlds.
The best way to confirm all of this is to meditate and practice dream yoga.
