I have already leart from this site tnat its the ethereal body that controls metabolism, I am a pure ectomorph at least for now, cannot put on fat as easily as other people do. But it is not so hard for me to build muscle? This is weird because I usually do not eat like an ectomorph should, but I workout and still gain muscle. Is there any general karmic truth to this? Just like one can say okay one has a horrible mother in this life because they were the horrible mother in a previous life. So is it due to too much thinking?

People have different temperaments and dispositions due to genetics, which relates to karmic tendencies. I wouldn't overthink it, though. Work with the body you have, keep it healthy to the best of your ability, and perform your spiritual practices.
