I use the computer a lot for a hobby I enjoy doing and have started before I knew about the truth, and I don't know if I am disgracing our Lord by using this technology: The computer.

It depends on how you use technology that makes it good or bad. Technology can be used for the Spirit, such as through this website, or it can be used for evil, such as through the production and dissemination of pornography. My suggestion is that you analyze your habits for using the computer, and meditate. Perhaps what you're doing specifically is of benefit, or there might be harmful activities that take time away from your practice (such as video games, violent movies, etc.).

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.
