As it has become obvious to me that governments are corrupt and politics is a farce, should i be supporting government by paying taxes ?

It seems unethical to me to support, in any way shape or form, a group of people who call themselves government, who instigate war, restrict peoples freedoms, endorse the poisoning of people via vaccinations and chemotherapy etc, who collect taxes with the threat of violence and who support corporations for the accumulation of money rather than the best interests of people.

Also, should we be handing over our decision making process to others, or self determining our own existance ?

The only result of not paying taxes is that you will go to jail. No one in the government will care about that, so that seems to be a rather pointless way to protest. Moreover, if you are in prison, the worst ethical lapse would be against yourself: you will have created a very bad situation for the rest of your life, and it would be much more difficult to work on yourself effectively. So, if you want to work on your ethics, think about it in relation with what your BEING needs you to do. Real ethics are about the relationship between the soul and the spirit. If you have the ego alive - such as fear, anger, pride, lust - that is a far worse ethical breach than paying taxes. Your Being does not need you to change the government. The Being needs you to work on yourself. Eliminate your egos. Be kind, gentle, and helpful to others. In this way, ethics becomes an immediate, practical, achievable, effective way of living that measurably impacts you and those around you.

By the way, if you do go to prison, you definitely will be "handing over our decision making process to others."

Thank you very much for your response Alexis, i have taken on board your points for consideration.

However, would it be a pointless exercise if you could proveably negate the extortionate criminals who collect taxes and avoid being imprisoned ?

The reason i am asking these questions is because i was once working constantly to pay bills with little time for self development.

Since i have freed myself from numerous taxes i now have much more time to work on myself without the need to work a ridiculous amount of hours to pay for a very humble existance.

I really dont know if this is valuable information that i should be spreading, or whether i am wasting my time and should rather be accepting the evil and concentrating on myself which seems selfish ?

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teaches rightly, neither accepts thou the person of any, but teaches the way of God truly:
Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
Show me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marveled at his answer, and held their peace. - Luke 20: 20-26

Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof. - Revelation 5: 5
