I understand the importance of conserving one's sexual essence, but what if you can separate an orgasm from ejaculation. Once this technique is mastered, there will be no loss of sexual energy.

By "physically, psychologically, spiritually" it is meant that it orgasm is orgasm, with or without ejaculation. It is a transformation of energy which makes the positive awakening of consciousness impossible. Physical sensations are not the way we confirm if something is good or not -- yes, obviously some type of physical energy is conserved in this practice you are saying, but you are loosing the most important aspects, the finer energetic and spiritual values through orgasm. By keeping physical vitality but wasting the spiritual, energetic component, you actually are doing great harm. The loss of physical vitality in many ways prevents the individual from further wasting their energy because physically they are unable to, but through this practice the individual is able to continue to waste the energetic values and that is very bad. People, many many years ago, invented that practice in order to not give up the orgasm. They interpreted their teachings falsely by ignoring that sexual energy is not just the physical semen, but all of the hormones that are expelled during orgasm as well. Orgasm is biological, psychological and spiritual. Ejaculation is just the most physical component of it. This doctrine also ignores that women must also refrain from orgasm, as it is believed by many Taoists that women can orgasm all they want because they normally don't have that type of physically expulsion, and therefore it does not matter. Using the logic of many of the false Taoist teachings, either women have to do nothing to self-realize, or they are simply unable to self-realize, and this is completely wrong.
It is not the Gnostic teachings that determine the effect of the orgasm, it is the very nature of the expelled energy.

Still I am in question though. What if you're are able to contain your seminal fluids along with your sexual energy during orgasm.
Certain Taoist techniques, made more well known by Master Mantak Chia, teaches one how to have an orgasm while conserving the seminal fluids and moving the sexual energy up the spine to the higher centers through the microcosmic orbit.
I personally know the negative effects of an orgasm with the loss of seminal fluid and sexual energy: immediate impotence, damage to the nervous system, instant depression, immune system depleted (and of course, that's not the worst of it).
I also have experience with the conservation of my sexual energy during orgasm (which has a completely opposite effect). I can feel the sexual energy pulsate up my spine and circulate throughout the rest of my body. For me, an orgasm is much more than a pleasurable feeling...It is a healing and truly Devine moment.
It just doesn't make sense to me that my spiritual ascension rest upon not having an orgasm. It's the loss of sexual energy that prevents one from awakening...right? Anyway, unless we learn to seal certain gateways in our own body, our sexual energy can be lost even if we do not have an orgasm.
Please don't get me wrong. I am not trying to advocate any of the Taoist teachings above. I am sharing my experiences out of love. I am new to the Gnostic teachings and am trying to figure out my way just like the rest of us here. I am willing to keep an open mind but I must also think for myself. I can only know if something is true from my own experience and not from the experience of others.
