I'm really hoping for some guidance on this issue because for years I have relied on books such as The Garden of Pomegranates by Israel Regardie for information on the correspondences between the Arcanum and Hebrew alphabet. I realize that Regardie and many others used the same system as Crowley in this regard and I realize why Crowley is not a teacher I'd want to follow. But that fact is not enough for me to believe that all these other people's life work completely missed the mark.
According to their system Aleph is the Fool, Beth is the Magician and so on. How is it that there is such a fundamental difference between that set of meanings and the ones that Samael Aun Weor and gnostic instructors/students lay forth? The difference in meaning is too large to have such a simple solution. Thank you for your time.
