I am wondering if there is a recording from a meditation session, perhaps from a past retreat, that is online somewhere to download?

I'm sure they wouldn't win any awards for the best singer, yet for someone such as myself who has no instruction from a live class or a teacher, I would be interested in listening to a meditation session, in order to gain more insight on effective ways to meditate.

Thank you

There are some recordings of mantra vocalizations, which I believe will be available for download when Gnostic Radio gets its upgrade (I do not know when that will be).

But if you are asking for recordings of meditation sessions, they would be rather uninteresting, because they would be silent! :) We do not utilize the modern invention of "guided meditation," since that is a contradictory, self-defeating idea. In all the traditional schools of meditation, the instructors would teach about the technique, then everyone would practice in silence. This is our approach as well. Guided meditation does not work, since in meditation, our goal is to disassociate ourselves from physical sensations and enter the internal worlds. If you are concentrating on listening through your physical ears to the instructor (or anything else), you will not be able to meditate successfully.
