Tree of Knowledge

(Hebrew עץ הדעת טוב ורע)

"And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." - Genesis 2:9

From the Hebrew: עץ for tree. דעת (Daath) means "knowledge." טוב means "goodness." רע means "pollution" or "impurity."

One of two trees in the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Knowledge in Hebrew is Daath, which is related to the sexual organs and the study of sexuality, known also as Alchemy / Tantra. The full name “Tree of Knowledge of Goodness and Impurity” indicates that Daath, sexual “knowledge,” leads to either “goodness” or “impurity.”
