Protoëhary

A term used by Gurdjieff to refer to the first of seven crystallizations of energy. The seven are:

  1. protoëhary

  2. deuteroëhary

  3. tritoëhary

  4. tetartoëhary

  5. pentoëhary

  6. exioëhary = sperm

  7. resulzarion = gestational results

These words are composed of a prefix derived from Greek numbering. The suffix –ehary is derived from the term “johary” which in Persian-Azerbaijani-Turkish vocabulary means “essence” (or extract) of, or “atomic crystallization of.”
