Parousia

(Greek παρουσία) In ancient Greek, the word parousia referred to the presence, arrival, or official visit of a dignitary, leader, royalty, etc. In the New Testament of Christianity, the word is used to refer to the "second coming of Christ" and therefore implies salvation.

"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the parousia of the Son of man be... But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the parousia of the Son of man be." —Matthew 24

"That which is divine, that which dwells deepest in the soul, the authentic and legitimate cognizant faculty, annihilates the ego and absorbs the Essence in its parousia, and in a total enlightenment saves it." —Samael Aun Weor, The Secret Doctrine of Anahuac
