Mani

(Sanskrit मानी) Literally, precious stone, bead, measure, magnet, gem, globule, hump of a camel, crystal, jewel, clitoris glans, pearl, large water jar, glans penis, ornament, wrist, bell, loadstone, amulet.

In Buddhism, mani is most known as a portion of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. It is also known as the cintamani, the "wish-fulfilling jewel." In both cases, the use of the word hides esoteric knowledge, hinted at by the meanings of the word. After all, every religion is based on the foundation stone, the corner stone, the sword in the stone, the cubic stone, the philosopher's stone, etc. All of these are mani.
