Gayatri

(Sanskrit) Gayatri is the name of the most important mantra in the Rig Veda:

"Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah, Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi, Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat."

"The Gayatri itself is the crest-jewel or the king of all Mantras. It is the most powerful of all Mantras. Na gayatryah paro mantrah—”There is no Mantra greater than the Gayatri”. —Swami Sivananda

Gayatri has many implicit meanings, such as "protection for the one who sings" and in regard to the components of the word, examples such as gaya (vital energies) and trayate (deliver, liberate, preserve).

Gayatri is also name of the Divine Mother, the embodiment of the mantra, and the feminine aspect of Brahma (the First Logos, the Father, Kether, the Dharmakaya).
