Agnishvatta

(Sanskrit अग्निष्वात्त) From agni "fire, gold" and shvatta, "spiced, seasoned, sweetened." A term used in Hinduism to describe certain types of beings.

1. A class of souls of ancestors from ancient times.

"...know thou that there are seven classes of Pitris [ancestors], of which four classes have embodied forms and the remaining three without embodied forms. It is well known that the illustrious Vairajas and Agniswattas and Garhapattyas (three classes of Pitris) range in heaven." - Mahabharata, book 2

2. A class of awakened beings who reside in Sutala, an elevated region of consciousness.

"The manes are primeval deities, free from anger, careful of purity, ever chaste, averse from strife, and endowed with great virtues. The Somasads, the sons of Virag, are stated to be the manes of the Sadhyas, and the Agnishvattas, the children of Mariki, are famous in the world of the gods.
