The Five Causes of Illness (Transcription)

This lecture is related to the course on Transformation of Energy.  It relates to what we taught in the four previous lectures.  So, if you didn’t read the four previous lectures, it is necessary for you to do it so that you can better understand this lecture.

Now, it is necessary to comprehend and understand what the Glorian is, in order to comprehend and understand what we state on the Five Causes of Illness.  In Hinduism and Theosophy, you hear about the Trimurti, of Atman, Buddhi, Manas.  Yet here, we talk about the Glorian, which, we have to understand, is made by another Trimurti that is above the Trimurti of Atman, Buddhi, Manas).

Glorian is related to the word Glory. In Kabbalah, in Hebrew, Glory is Hod. the astral light.  Yes indeed, the Glorian is pure astral light – Spiritual light.  The Glorian also relates to the Ray of Okidanokh.  The master Madame Blavatsky states in her Secret Doctrine that Okidanokh (the Glorian) is a ray of the Absolute, profoundly unknowable to itself, profoundly mysterious to itself.  The comprehension of this statement helps us to understand why the universe exists, and why we exist.  The Glorian is an emanation of the Ain Soph.  It enters into the universe in order to discover, to realize, to acquire cognizance of itself.

Imagine a Glorian; each one of us has their own particular Glorian.  There are as many Glorians in the universe as there are human beings, animals, plants.  Every one has its own particular Glorian.

The Glorian, the Cosmocreators, and the Innermost

Our Glorian has three aspects: wisdom, love, and willpower; or as we say in Christianity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - or as we say in Kabbalah: Kether, Chokmah, and Binah - Three aspects of the same ray.  The Glorian is what we call the “Cosmic Christ.”

So, within our Glorian there exists infinite possibilities, but these possibilities are latent and inert.  It has the power, but those infinite possibilities within it do not exert, since they do not know how to use Glorian’s power.  In other words, the ray within each of those possibilities is unable to use its powers.  It has wisdom, but within these possibilities, it does not know.  So, the Glorian needs to awaken its wisdom within every single possibility within itself.  The Glorian has willpower.  But those infinite possibilities within it cannot exert.  In other words, willpower is not active within them; yet all of them are within the Glorian.  The Glorian’s potentialities are what we call the infinite possibilities.  This is why we state that the Glorian is profoundly unknowable to itself.

It is like, for instance, imagine yourself when you were a kid.  You had the possibility to become a doctor.  But in order to become a doctor, you had to go first to elementary school, then to high school, then to the university in order to develop the possibilities of being a doctor.  The same is true of the Spirit.

This is how it is represented in this image of Vishnu.  From Vishnu‘s navel comes a cord that extends, and on top of that umbilical cord you find Brahma.  There you see three aspects of Brahma.  Thus, Brahma is what we are talking about here. Yes in Brahma - who is at the other end of the ray of Okidanokh, the Glorian - is where Vishnu places those infinite possibilities.  But those possibilities are dormant - Brahma sleeps and Brahma needs to awaken. So, when Brahma appears, it needs assistance, it needs a tutor, in order for him to learn how to awaken those possibilities.  And this is how we comprehend that Vishnu exists in the universe through the aid of the Cosmocreators.

Cosmocreators are always related with what we call Vishnu in its manifested aspect, which is universal.  This is why in the graphic Vishnu is lying down on a serpent.  That serpent has twelve heads, because it is related with the solar system.  We know that every solar system has twelve planets, with the sun – Vishnu – being the center.  So, that is why Vishnu is lying down there with twelve serpents.  But we have to comprehend and understand that the twelve serpents work through the Law of Seven, the Law that organizes, the law of the Heptaparaparshinokh.

When a Glorian appears in the universe, it immediately is assisted by the Cosmocreators that are symbolized there by Vishnu, the Christ, the manifested Christ. Thus, this is how the Cosmocreators fecundate the Glorian, and assist Brahma by placing a Monad within the Glorian.

The Monad, our particular Innermost is a child of the Cosmocreator.  But it is the same light.  If we go into the depth of it, we see that it is light-fire.  That particle of the Cosmocreator is placed in the Glorian in order to teach the Glorian how to develop its infinite possibilities.  The Cosmocreator already knows – this is why it is a Cosmocreator.  The Cosmocreator is also a Glorian, one whose infinite possibilities are already awake.  So this is why a Cosmocreator has the power, the ability to teach these Glorians.  This is why in Hinduism it is stated that Brahma is sleeping and needs to awake.  This is the meaning of it.

Our Innermost is our Father who is in Heaven.  It is our particular Spirit which through the Great Work becomes one with the Glorian.  Our Glorian takes it.  But then, when we inquire and investigate the last synthesis of our real Being, our real Being is our Glorian, which emanated from the Absolute.  Within him is the Innermost.  That Innermost is the connection with the Cosmocreator; in this way we understand that we have a ‘heavenly Father.’  Yes indeed, the Cosmocreator is a Father who is in Heaven.  Our Father who is in Heaven is one of those seven Cosmocreators, which belongs to the seven mighty rays.  This Cosmocreator, through that Monad that he placed in our Glorian, is going to help our Glorian to acquire the awakening of all of his wisdom, power, and willpower, or action.

This is how that Monad, under the control of that Cosmocreator, sent part of it into any planet in order for our Glorian to learn through evolution how to create, how to exercise willpower, and how to develop that wisdom that our own particular Glorian already has.  So, this is how part of that Monad - that in Kabbalah is called Neshamah, the Cosmic Soul - that we call the essence, the Buddhata or part of Buddha, enters into evolution in order to learn.

The metallic kingdom of any planet is a nervous system where the Cosmocreators – through their Ruach Elohim - are always acting and helping the development of the infinite possibilities of all Monads that are evolving through the mineral, plant, and animal kingdom, and finally, to the level that we are at, which is the human kingdom, which in reality is the intellectual animal kingdom.

Each of the seven Cosmocreators has legions of angels, as well as other Cosmocreators that help in the teaching, the development, and the organization of these Monads.  This is how you find legions of the first ray, legions of the second ray, etc.  Likewise, there are legions related to the twelve Cosmocreators, each of which is related to a planet of this solar system.

Cosmocreators work in solar systems.  Through the Glorian they are united and related.  We talk extensively about it in the lecture about the lamb with seven horns and seven eyes from the book of Revelation.  This is how we have to understand that within the Glorian they are one flame, one light.

So then, through evolution, and through the assistance of that intelligence or Ruach Elohim, which connect us to the Cosmocreator, the Monad is learning, and the Ray, the Glorian, is developing.  This is what we call Self-realization, which is the development of all those infinite possibilities, little by little, bit by bit.  Each of us has to learn that.

The Trinity in the Microcosm

Now, here we are, in this level, in which nature has given us this marvelous physical body.  This physicality is always the topic of our lectures, since we need to learn how the physical body and its vital body - which nature gives us - have all of those forces, in a latent way, and how we have to take advantage of it, with the guidance of our own particular Innermost, which is guided by the Cosmocreator, and which works in accordance with the will of our own particular Glorian.

Each Glorian has its own will, its own wisdom, but it only develops thanks to the activity of its particular Cosmocreator, which is our Father who is in Heaven.  Thus, beyond this Cosmocreator is our Glorian, which is our particular Ray; which, I repeat, is individual for each one of us. This is how we are related in the light.  This is how variety is unity.  We have to understand this; we have to comprehend that because it is very important.

In our human organism, we find that our particular Glorian placed three atoms – spiritual atoms, not physical atoms – in our head.  While we talk, right now, from this very moment on, we have to imagine only the human being, the physical body, as a microcosm. We have to understand the microcosm is a reflection of the macro.  So, when we say “heaven” in the macro, we always point above.  But now, while we are talking about the microcosm, we point at the “heaven” – obviously, this is our head, our brain.  That is our heaven in our particular, individual cosmos – the microcosm, the human being.  So there, in that heaven, we find that Trimurti, or Trinity.

The atom of the Father (Kether) is placed between the eyebrows.  It is a magnetic center between the eyebrows.  His kingdom is the brain.  He reflects that power in the liver.

Thereafter, we have the atom of the Son (Chokmah) in the pituitary gland.  His kingdom is in the heart.  There, Chokmah, the son of God, has another atom, which is called the Son of Man: the Nous Atom.  The Nous Atom is the Son of Man who receives commands from the Son of God in the pituitary gland.

Finally, in the pineal gland, we have the atom of the Holy Spirit (Binah).  The kingdom he controls is the spine, down to the sexual organs.

These three spiritual atoms are related with the three nervous systems.

• The central nervous system, which is the nervous system through which the first force, the Father works
• The grand sympathetic, which is the nervous system through which the Son works
• The parasympathetic, which is the nervous system through which the Holy Spirit works

All three nervous systems are one.  Likewise, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one: the Trinity - the three-unity.  In Christianity, they say these are three persons in one God.  But in reality, they are three forces: positive, negative, and neutral.  This is how the three primary forces express themselves in the physical body.

Our Innermost has to exercise dominion over our physical body, in order to acquire Self-realization.  He has to do it through these nervous systems, under the atomic forces that we have in the head that work through the intelligence (Binah).  This is how we understand it, that is, how in our physical body processes that which we call “intelligence.”  The physical body in the last synthesis is a mixture where all of the forces of the universe are placed, in order for our particular Glorian, through the Innermost, to manage all those forces and to acquire Self-realization, to acquire independence - because right now, we are not independent.

We might think that we have individuality, but individuality is only a patrimony of the Gods, of those who acquire Self-realization.  Before acquiring such sacred individuality, we are submitted to the collective system; our willpower is submitted to the collective system; our wisdom is submitted to the collective system.  Thus, to acquire sacred individuality is precisely the goal of the Glorian: to become independent, to acquire Self-realization, and thus to return into the Absolute, knowing himself as an individual, while being part of the void.

When we reach the level of humanoid, which means when the soul acquires this complicated three-brained physical body, we have the opportunity of reaching such a goal by means of the energies of the three nervous systems, and all the psychological parts, which are the necessary elements placed in the seed of the physical body.  This is why we need a healthy physical body, not a sick physical body.  And this is why we have to study the five causes of illness. These illnesses are not only physical, but also psychosomatic traumas that we have within.

In order to start its Self-realization, the Innermost tries to control the physical body by utilizing the atom of the Father that is in the magnetic center located between the eyebrows, and whose kingdom is in the brain.  The brain is the physical vehicle of the mind.  When the mind is quiet and relaxed, this is because it is influenced by the Spirit; however most of the time, the mind is noisy, struggling, because the brain is connected to the five senses.  The brain is connected to all the muscles through which we receive sensations.  The mind is influenced by the exterior world.  It is very difficult for the Innermost to acquire Self-realization through the mind, through the brain, because the central nervous system controls the whole body, in union with the other centers. You can see this knowledge in the story of Esau and Jacob.  Esau is a hunter, a symbol of the mind – which is always hunting for titles, for sensual things from this physical world.  So, the Innermost cannot do anything through it.

So, then the Innermost goes to the pineal gland, where we find the atom of the Holy Spirit, which controls all the glands through the parasympathetic nervous system.  Through the pineal gland the Holy Spirit controls the sexual glands, yet here we find the lower animal soul, which as you know uses the sexual energy in the wrong way.

The Holy Spirit in the pineal gland is related with that energetic canal that we call Ida.  The other energetic canal (nadi) that we call Pingala is related with the atom of the Father, located between the eyebrows, while the pituitary gland where we have the atom of the Son is related with the Sushumna canal.

The canal Ida is related with the pineal gland, related to that superior part of the brain, to those superior emotions, related with the Spirit, yet in its lower aspect it is related with sexual desire, the desire to procreate; thus unfortunately, through fornication we have introduced into our system many negative atoms, which we call the “secret enemy.”  The secret enemy is the ego, which was born because of the abuse of the sexual force, because of the abuse of Ida, which in Christianity is called Eve, as Pingala is called Adam.

Adam (Pingala) is related with the brain and the atom of the Father; this is why his kingdom is in the head.  Eve (Ida) is related with the Holy Spirit in the pineal gland, and exercises its creative power from the brain through the spinal cord until the sexual organs – whether in a man or in a woman.  Therefore, when the sexual organs are used in the wrong way – the animal way – the Innermost cannot exercise control or acquire initiation through the parasympathetic nervous system either.

Understand that the Innermost has to be initiated into Heaven; his soul has to be born again.  The Innermost has to develop all the spiritual possibilities; this is attained through initiation.  Mechanically, nature takes us to the humanoid level. Nature cannot take us beyond the humanoid level.  For this we have to be initiated, in order to exercise the willpower and wisdom of our own particular God, thus, we acquire individuality.

So, as you see, in order for the Innermost to surmount these two obstacles - the central spinal nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system – he has to enter the grand sympathetic nervous system through the pituitary gland, where we find the atom of the Son, whose kingdom is in the heart, where we find the Nous atom.  The Nous atom is located in the left ventricle of the heart.  The heart is related with the voluntary and involuntary actions, or movements of the body.

When we study the brain, we find that it relates to the voluntary movements. Voluntary movements mean movements that you exert through will; movements that you think about and then execute. Thus we realize that those voluntary movements are under the command of the mind, because the brain is the physical vehicle of the mind.  So, the mind exerts control over the voluntary movements, while the involuntary movements – including the digestive system, the circulatory system, and all of that intelligence that functions inside of our physical body - is under the command of the Holy Spirit (Binah) in the pineal gland. Thus, the only organ that shares both, the voluntary and involuntary systems, is the heart.  So, this is why the superior Logos (Glorian) guides the Innermost - so that he can acquire Self-realization - only through the heart.  Thus, through the heart the soul obeys the Monad, and can control the other two systems – This indicates that Self-realization is the acquisition of control over the three systems.

Ens Astrale

Now let us enter into the first cause of illness which we call the Ens Astrale, or Astral Entity, which is related with the grand sympathetic nervous system – with the heart.  Understand that while you are working with the grand sympathetic, you are also working with the parasympathetic and central nervous systems, as well.

The Innermost (which is called Atman in Sanskrit, our own particular Monad) commands the human body through the heart.  Through the blood, the heart feeds the mind, the brain.  This is why the atom in the heart is called the Nous atom. The Nous atom is also related to Manas (Sanskrit: mind) but superior manas, superior mind, superior intellect, it relates to the superlative reasoning of the individual human soul. Superlative reasoning does not relate to the lunar intellect that we have here. Superlative reasoning is related with the Spirit.  Thus the Nous atom feeds the brain through the blood.

Through the activity of the Nous atom we acquire solar mind.  The Nous atom, the Son of Man, has to grow up, as it is written:

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up. - John 3:14

Thus atomically, we also find in the Book of Revelation the Son of Man, that Nous atom – that solar force that we have in the heart. I want to associate this lecture with the Son of Man of the Book of Revelation in order for you to understand how this astral entity, the Son of Man, becomes the Son of God. It says there in chapter seven of the Book of Revelation:

And after these (initiatic) things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds (or Ruach Elohim) of the earth (physical body) that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. - Revelation 7:1

These four Ruach Elohim, or winds, are related with the Tattvas.  The tattvas are energetic vibrations related with the elements.  Before the elements crystallize in the physical world, they exist first in a latent manner, in potentiality in the fourth dimension, as Tattvas, or vibrations of the ether.  These four angels or Spirits that the Book of Revelation talks about are the four breaths of life related with fire, water, earth, and air, which are also related in our own particular earth - the physical body - as:

• Tejas, the fire, related with the sense of sight
• Apas, the water, related with the sense of taste
• prithvi, the earth, related with the sense of smell
• Vayu, the air, related with the sense of touch

Because as above, so below.

Sequentially, the scripture says “that the wind should not blow on the earth (the parasympathetic nervous system), nor on the sea (grand sympathetic nervous system), nor on any tree (the central nervous system).” The Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge are related with the nervous systems.

“And I saw another angel...” ...the fifth. This is the Akasha tattva, which is that substance related with the sexual force, with the sexual matter located in the genitals.  Akasha is related with our sense of hearing – with the ear.  Akasha is also associated with the fifth chakra, Vishuddha, and the fifth center, the sexual center of the human machine.

And I saw another angel (the fifth, the Akasha tattva, related with Neshamah, the Buddhata, our own particular essence which is under the guidance of Nous atom in the heart. The Nous atom is related with Prana.  Prana is solar energy, it is Christ) ascending from the east (the left ventricle of the heart), having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. - Revelation 7: 2, 3

So when you read “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads,” this is related with the three nervous systems of our own philosophical earth, our microcosmic earth. Here, microcosmically, Revelation is talking about initiation; however, this verse is also related with other aspects in a macrocosmic way.

The Seal of God

The seal of God is directly related with the heart.  If you inquire about the seal of God, you find that in Kabbalah it is related with the Star of David. Yet, the six pointed star is not a patrimony solely of the Jewish religion, since you can find the Star of David or the six pointed star in many religions. I.e. in Hinduism, you find that star connected with the Anahata chakra (the heart chakra). This star is a phallic symbol. The two testicles and the phallus make a triangle, and the two ovaries and the uterus make another triangle.  If you unite both triangles, then you have the Star of David, through which the Nous atom works in order to place the seal of God in our foreheads.

Sequentially, the Book of Revelation states:

And I heard the number of them which were sealed (of the chosen ones): and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. – Revelation 7:4

In Kabbalah, 144,000 relates to the Hebrew letters “Aleph, Daleth, and Mem” of the name Adam.  Every Hebrew letter has a numerical value: Aleph is the number one; Daleth is the number four; Mem is forty. So, 1 + 4 + 40, plus the two zeros of man and woman.  Together, this makes 144,000.

The zeros are related with the three brains of the two entities: the woman and the man united by the nine.  Because without the woman, or without the man, we cannot make that seal.  Yes, the sexual union is necessary in order to create the androgynous Adam; because Adam is not masculine or feminine but androgynous.  The Hebrew word “Adam” is androgynous.

So, in order to be “a sealed one,” a chosen one, you have to know how to handle the six-pointed seal of God.  For this, the Innermost has to enter into the initiation through the Nous Atom.  The Nous Atom has to go down to the ninth sphere (144,000 = 9) in order to transform, in order to awaken his twelve powers (of all the tribes of the children – atoms- of Ish-Ra-El – the fire of the God RA, the Logos).

The Twelve Apostles in the Microcosm

In our organism, we have twelve powers.  Or, as the Book of Revelation states, there were twelve thousand of each tribe.  As you will read, each one of the twelve tribes of Israel is related with one zodiac sign.

Of the tribe of Judah (Leo) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben (Pisces) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad (Scorpio) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Asher (Virgo) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim (Aquarius) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses (Libra) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon (Capricorn) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi (Geminis) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar (Taurus) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon (Cancer) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph (Sagittarius) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin (Aries) were sealed twelve thousand. - Revelation 7: 5-8

All of them are associated with different astral virtues, and in order to develop them we must pass ordeals.

The twelve tribes of Israel relate to the twelve zodiac signs. In the Tarot, these are represented in the Arcanum Twelve which is called the Apostolate.  The Apostolate or the twelve apostles are related with twelve engineers that obey the Nous Atom.  These twelve engineers obey the Nous Atom, and the Nous Atom obeys an Architect atom, which communicates everything to the Innermost, our own particular Monad.

So, behold how everything works: the architect atom – from our own particular Innermost – is the one that knows everything in relation with our own particular Microcosmic creation. Thus, the Architect Atom transmits commands to the Nous Atom which in turn will know what to transmit to its twelve main engineers.  There are many atomic engineers, but these twelve are the main ones, which are related with the twelve Apostles.

This is how the command of the Innermost enters into the physical body through the blood.  Cyclically through the blood, the Nous Atom receives commands from the Innermost. Through the blood the Nous Atom transmits such information to its engineers – the twelve Apostles.  The twelve Apostles represent twelve powers that we have to develop, not only in the physical world, but in all the internal worlds.  This is how Christ develops within us.  This is how the divine astral forces of Christ work through the Nous Atom.

Christ, the Glorian, is the law, and the incognito root of the human being.  When the human being obeys Christ, the law, the Glorian, he becomes immortal.  Death and suffering happens because of disobedience toward the law.

Christ, the Glorian, commands through the Innermost.  The Innermost commands through the architect Atom, which commands the Nous Atom.  The Nous Atom commands the engineers, the twelve apostles, in order for us to do all that which we need to do in our physical body. This is how we take advantage of the solar light which contains the spiritual forces of Christ and thus develop what we have to develop.

What wires are to electricity, nerves are to the vital fluid; the central nervous system is the throne of the Innermost, the Spirit.  The grand sympathetic nervous system is the grand diocese of the Astral Body of the human being.

As the Sun sends all its power to all planets and lands, likewise, the heart sends its Spirit (solar light) to the whole body.  This is why we state that Christ is crucified in the heart.  The cross is a symbol of the four elements – the four winds, the four Tattvas. Through the blood the Tattvas go into the different systems and are finally transformed into Akashic fluid (semen).  Thus, every single organ in itself has its own duty, in order to process the solar light, as we transmute and perform our Self-realization, that is, the creation of the solar man.

Regarding this, we find the first apostles who work in the grand sympathetic nervous system, which is related with the parasympathetic nervous system. When we speak of the parasympathetic system, we must note that it is directly related with the intelligent regulation of the function of many glands. The grand sympathetic is related with the solar energy that is distributed through the heart and which delivers that intelligence into the glands.  This is how we have to see it.

Peter and Andrew

In the pineal gland, we have Peter, who is related with faith.  The opposite of faith is doubt, or skepticism.  If Peter is active, it is because we put the pineal gland into activity with the sexual hormones.  That is why when you read the Bible, you find that when Peter appears, he appears together with his brother Andrew.  Andrew works in the suprarenal or adrenal glands, which are above the kidneys; this is why the cross of Saint Andrew is an ‘X’, because he is related to the two kidneys, and this is what gives us sexual strength.

Peter and Andrew have to work together: Peter from the pineal gland, and Andrew from the suprarenal glands.  At this very moment, a statement from the Book of Revelation comes into my mind:

I am he (Christ, the solar light) which searcheth the reins (kidneys) and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. - Revelation 2: 23

The Nous Atom (Christ) is the one who in the heart knows how his engineers are working.  Andrew (one of his twelve engineers) suffers a lot because - above the kidneys – on each suprarenal gland is a chakra, related with chastity.  If the individual is a fornicator, then those chakras are bloody red.  Thus, Andrew tells the Nous Atom if the individual is transmuting their sexual energies or not.  So, the engineer – the apostle Andrew – knows very well how we sexually act, because the sexual strength relies on the kidneys.

In Taoist medicine, you study how the adrenal or suprarenal glands are related with the sexual glands, and the relation of the pineal gland with the sexual glands as well – everything is related.

Now, the story of Samson comes into my mind,.  Samson’s strength is in the kidneys, in the suprarenal glands, because he is chaste, as shown by his long hair.  His hair is an emanation, or the radiation of his pineal gland, that grows together with his sexual strength.  This is why Peter (which relates to the pineal gland) is crucified upside-down, as saying, we have to place our faith on our strength, we have to develop our pineal gland by means of sexual transmutation, and for this we have to descend to the ninth sphere.

James and John

Let us study the other pairs, for instance James the Elder and his brother John.  James the Elder is located in the stomach.  He is related with the pancreas, which is the gland that assists the digestive system.  When talking about James the Elder, let us recall what Master Jesus said:

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats? And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within  out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within (the very pit of the stomach and go through the heart), and defile the man. - Mark 7:18-23

James the Elder is related with the belly.  For here, in the area, the very pit of the stomach, according to the Book of Revelation, we have the seat of Satan:

And to the angel of the church in Pergamus (solar plexus) write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicholaitans, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. – Revelation 2: 12-17

From within the very pit of the stomach (where Satan's seat is) come the desires that go out through the heart of men.  Gluttony, anger, hatred, self-esteem, self-importance, pride, all of these are desires, all of these are animal appetites that are located in the pit of the stomach.

The Epistle or the Letter of James in the Bible says:

Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. – James 3: 3-9

Yes, everything that comes from within that area, is bad, a world of iniquity.  As James says:

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

In other words, as James’ brother John does it, it is better that we talk from the heart and not from the stomach, or the liver.

John is related with the thymus gland.  John is also related with the Word – “in the beginning was the Word.”  The thymus gland, as you see, is behind the heart.  This is why it is said that John rested his head on the heart of Jesus (the Nous Atom).  Among the apostles, John is the youngest, since indeed the thymus gland is related with childhood.  It is stated that commonly the thymus gland deteriorates when ones reaches puberty, and thereafter it doesn’t work anymore.  Notwithstanding, it keeps working if you transmute your sexual force, because the thymus gland is related with the Moon (Yesod), the thymus gland is also related with the lunar mind, which we have to place under the service of the Nous Atom.

If you place your lunar mechanical mind on the heart of Jesus, on Nous, then you are making it solar, imitating John.  We have to transform our lunar mind into solar or intuitive mind.  That is the work of John.

Read the gospel of John that explains how the Divine Word descends into the matter:

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” - John 1:14

In other words, the Logos incarnates within “Manas,” the man. Even John’s Book of Revelation shows us how such a man becomes Divine.  Thus, there you will find how such a mind (John) is transformed in the Lord.

If the Lord acquires control over John, the thymus gland, John will acquire immortality; in the thymus gland we have the atoms of youth.  So, behold here the relationship of John with Nous and James the Elder.

Philip and Bartholomew

Above John in the thymus, we have two apostles that the Bible talks about.  They are the apostle Philip in the thyroid, and his brother, Bartholomew, or Nathaniel, as he is also called, in the pituitary.

Philip is related with the root of our tongue and with the thyroid gland.  The thyroid gland is related with the cryptic power of the word.  The word, in the root of our tongue, is power.  This is why when you read the gospel of John, you find that when Philip finds Nathaniel he says to him:

We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. - John 1: 45

Philip understands what the prophets wrote in the scriptures.  In other words, if you want to understand what is written in the Bible, or any other sacred book, you have to develop the thyroid gland.  The thyroid gland gives you that power, which is called clairaudience, and is related with the clarity of hearing – the ability of understanding what is cryptically written.

Philip’s brother Bartholomew (Nathaniel) is related with the pituitary gland – clairvoyance.  This is why when Philip finds Nathaniel, he say unto him:

“We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph (IO-Cephas).”

Bartholomew (Nathaniel) doesn’t believe Philip,

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth (the Ajna Chakra, the root of the nose)?

Philip saith unto him, Come and see” (because Bartholomew is the one who in the pituitary gland clairvoyantly sees).

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him (or better said, the Nous Atom saw Nathanael coming to him), and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. – John 1: 46-50

The fig tree represents the parasympathetic nervous system, under the command of the pineal gland, which nourishes the pituitary gland.  The pituitary gland is the light bearer of the pineal gland.  This is why Bartholomew (Nathaniel) said to Jesus “thou art (in the pituitary gland) the (atom of the) Son of God; thou art (Nous in the heart who is) the King of Israel (Ish-Ra-El, the fire of the God RA, the Christ).

Thus, this is how Bartholomew - thanks to Jesus, the Son of Man, the Nous atom - sees and relates to Christ, the Son of God.

It is stated that Bartholomew was also crucified upside down.  And this is because he is related with the head.  If some say that Thomas or Matthew were crucified upside down, we will also understand, because Thomas and Matthew are also related with the head.

Bartholomew is crucified upside down.  But before his crucifixion, they skinned him alive.  To be skinned alive and then to be crucified upside down is not very pleasant.  However, there is a meaning behind this narrative that we have to understand.  We have heard the saying: “this  person really skinned this other person alive.” To skin someone alive is to remove the physical image in order to show the psychological image that is behind the human skin, which is perceptible only through the clairvoyant sense. Based on the clairvoyant sense, this X person is always criticizing this Z person, X person is always talking against Z person. This could only be motivated by a desire to inflict mental and emotional pain and suffering. This is why Michelangelo, in his fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, painted Bartholomew with a piece of human skin hanging from his hand. Bartholomew’s features reflects Michelangelo’s own face.  People wonder why Michelangelo would paint Bartholomew with his own face, and what is the meaning of that human skin hanging from his hand? Well, the meaning is clairvoyance.  Every awakened painter, specifically Michelangelo, was a clairvoyant.

Those who hurt others with their clairvoyance [imagination, fantasy] are cruel.  Such type of cruelty originates blindness in subsequent lives.  So we have to know how to combine Bartholomew with Philip in order to say exactly what we must.

Bartholomew sees the astral images, whereas Philip understands the meaning of those images.  When clairvoyants have a big mouth, they swiftly talk about their experiences, about what they have seen in the astral plane. Based on their wrong interpretations they wrongly accuse others, i.e. “this person is a fornicator, an adulterer, or a witch, this other is a black magician,” etc.  Understand: the ego of everybody in this world is a demon; thus, we all have evil (ego) within.  Nevertheless, everyone is accusing others as evildoers, as though we were saints!  So, this is how we use clairvoyance in the wrong way and we end “skinning other people alive.”

Regrettably, this is common among “new-fangled Gnostics” who always go around accusing other people, i.e.  “This X person is hurting our group because of this or because of that.”  Listen, if a person is really trouble to a group, you have to deal with that person privately.  You should not openly scorn her before everybody, since this is “to skin her alive” in public, and that is cruelty.  It is the same as to asseverate that such a person is evil, and the rest of us are holy.  All of us are rotten.  Nobody is holy here.  Yes, we have to learn and know how to control and defend our esoteric groups, nevertheless, this is not done by publicly accusing others or by publicly saying “this person is a black magician, this person is a witch”, etc., since every devotee carries the ego of witchcraft within.  Yes, every devotee has a witch within, since every devotee has a demon, the ego, inside.  So, we have to be careful with our judgment.

If we want to accuse someone about something doctrinally wrong, we have to accuse his concepts – as the Master Samael advises in his books – according to what he or she doctrinally taught.  Thus, if his concept regarding the doctrine is wrong, then explain the doctrine correctly and point out the mistake.  But never say “this person is a black magician,” because you are also a black magician; and consider, if Beelzebub repented, so that person can repent, too. The past is the past.

Therefore, if we skin someone alive, we are cruel, and we gain karma – by using our own particular Bartholomew, or Nathaniel, in the wrong way.

Philip (understanding of the word) must always be with us.  If you read the book The Pistis Sophia, you will read that Philip is the one who interprets the words of the Lord.

Matthew and Thomas

In the head there we have other two apostles, Matthew and Thomas, who are related with the two hemispheres of the brain.  Thomas is related with the right part of the brain, and Matthew with the left.  Thomas is related with true wisdom and Matthew with willpower, yet not selfish willpower but willpower used with intelligence.

That is why Matthew is represented by an angel and wrote about the genealogy of Jesus.  His gospel is related with the word of Yesod, the word of intelligence, which is represented by a human being or an angel.  That is why he says that behind him was always an angel, advising him how to write.  That is the meaning of the Gospel of Matthew.

• the Gospel of Luke is related to the Earth
• the Gospel of John is related to the Air
• the Gospel of Mark is related to of the Fire

There are four elements, and four Gospels.  The fifth is the Ether – the gospel of Samael Aun Weor, which synthesizes the four, which explains everything of the four.

The wisdom of Thomas is related with intuition, and is related with direct experiences in other worlds.  Thomas doesn’t blindly believe.

So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and place my finger in the mark of the nails, and place my hand in his side, I will not believe (because Thomas in the brain knows very well the Mythomaniac tricks of the subconscious mind)." - John 20:25

Thomas demands proof with cognizance.

There are many believers who accept things with their intermediate mind without verifying it with cognizance.  In comprehension, Thomas always gives the last word.  If a devotee confesses this or that, Thomas says “okay, I want to see (apprehend) it in order to believe it,” that is, to understand, to comprehend, to apprehend it with the senses of the soul in order to believe, this is, in order to be absolutely 100% sure…

In the other hemisphere of the brain is Matthew, the intelligence that teaches and studies the doctrine.  Matthew is related with the left part of the brain and the senses.  Matthew is a tax collector.  How can a tax collector be among the apostles of Jesus, or the apostles of Nous?  This is because Matthew knows that we have to eat and have a house.  Matthew knows how to live, but wisely, under the command of the Lord.  That is why he is following the Lord.  In the beginning, Matthew is doing the wrong thing.  But when he begins to follow Jesus, Matthew does a good thing.

We have to work with Matthew and Thomas together in order to do the right thing with the gospels, or the knowledge, the doctrine.  Matthew knows that in this world we have to resolve an equation, which is the equation of Self-realization.  Notwithstanding, such equation is divided in two halves.  The first half of the equation is: I need to eat, I need to live, I need to dress.  The second half is related with the development of the Spirit.  People always resolve the first half of the equation, but leave the second half unsolved.  This is because they identify too much with the first half of the equation.  Matthew knows what we have to do in order to live; he knows how to combine in our life the two halves of the equation; because we need to know how to survive in this jungle.

James the Lesser and Judas Thaddeus

Then, we have the other two Astral Entities: James the Lesser and Judas Thaddeus – as they always appear in pairs.  If you read the Gospels, you will see that they always appear in twos.

James the Lesser is related with the appendix, that organ that some doctors and scientists view as dispensable – they say you can cut it out and it does not matter.  They believe it is just a piece of meat there, hanging from the intestines.  We dissent with that way of thinking, since the appendix is the seat of James the Lesser, who is the intelligence that deals with the immune system.  It controls the bacteria that we have in the colon and intestines, so that the bacteria do not go into the bloodstream.  Those people whose appendixes have been removed have a problem, because many toxins go into their bloodstream.  Even in the case of those who have appendixes, many toxins still go into the blood, because there are many indolent atoms in the blood that unfortunately don’t work very well, thus their blood is always filthy.

The blood is not well in this day and age. AIDS infected many people, because people do not know how to live.  We can clean our blood if we do not drink alcohol, if we eat what we are supposed to eat, instead of garbage like junk food; we are sorry, but we are not going to make propaganda in favor of such a type of food, because it is garbage.  We have to know how to eat.

If you know how to eat properly, then James the Lesser will perform a great work in your immune system: order is the clue word of James the Lesser.  There must be order, not only in the physical world, but in the internal organs that James the Lesser controls.  Thus, if there is disorder in the organism, many diseases enter.  That astral intelligence, that engineer, controls the immune system.  That is why it is necessary to clean the intestines, since elimination is controlled by Judas Thaddeus.  Judas is located in the sacrum; so, through the sacrum, Judas Thaddeus works in the intestines.

There are a lot of people who eat a lot of garbage, and so in their intestines there is a lot of stuff that should not be there.  Colonics are good for those people that put a lot of garbage into their bodies.  The Master Samael Aun Weor gives a lot of purges in his book Occult Medicine and Practical Magic to clean the intestines.

So, as you help your pineal gland through sexual transmutation and you help other glands by controlling yourself, likewise you have to also help James the Lesser, and in turn also help Judas Thaddeus, by eliminating unpleasant elements from your body. You have to comprehend a lot of things in order to eliminate them, since in the lower or higher levels this is how these intelligences work.  Do not think that the function of discharging human manure into the toilet is just mechanical.  There is an intelligence there that acts under the control of the Nous Atom.

Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot

Finally, we have the last astral entities [apostles]: Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot.  Judas Iscariot is the great master that came 2,000 years ago to represent our own particular Judas Iscariot that we have in the sexual glands.  Judas Iscariot controls the sexual glands – whether feminine or masculine.

Simon the Zealot is located in the medulla oblongata, which is located behind the brain.  Simon the Zealot controls what enters in the body from the internal worlds.

Unfortunately, in our subconsciousness, unconsciousness, and infra-consciousness we have a lot of garbage, elements, ego, that we created in past lives.  Here is where we find that Simon the Zealot is the one that controls the medulla, and tries to prevent bad memories from entering the brain.  But we have so much that now we are psychologically infected.

The medulla oblongata is below the cerebellum. The cerebellum is related with the subconsciousness, with experiences that we have when we are out of the body. All the memories we have from the astral world enter into the cerebellum and go into the brain by means of the activities of that astral entity named Simon the Zealot.

Below, in the sexual glands we have Judas Iscariot, who unfortunately betrays the Lord.  Well, the sexual glands really are the glands that we have to control.  Thus, we need Judas Iscariot.  This is an astral intelligence that the Nous Atom needs to control.  This is why Judas Iscariot enters into the twelve: because we need Judas Iscariot.

Ens Veneri

Now you know how we create those astral entities (ego), or the other Ens Astrale that poison our psyche and our physical body.  If you study carefully every single apostle, then you will live a healthy life.  But the main thing here is the Ens Veneri.  From the word Veneri, or the entity of Venus, comes the word “venereal,” or the sexual energy.

Lo and behold!  Now we enter into understanding the Ens Veneri: the entity of sex.

It is through the sexual matter, as you know, that we come to enter into this world.  Through the sexual energy we are placed, according to the law of return and recurrence, into this world.  And through sex we inherit the genes of our father and mother; thus, this is how we have in the physical body those genes that we have to control through the sexual act.

There are two main forms of karma (cause and effect) through which the sicknesses of the Ens Veneri acts.  These are Karmasaya and Kamaduro.  Karmasaya and Kamaduro are the result of the actions of our own inner Judas Iscariot.  This is why during the path of Self-realization, you have a lot of enemies, egos, and the main enemy is lust.  But we have to be patient.  Judas has to be hanged and killed.  But the Lord also has to die.  And if you follow the sequence of the twelve apostles, you find how each one of them has a tragic death.  This is related with the path that we are studying here.

Kamaduro is the karma of fornication.

Karmasaya is the karma of adultery, in which the sexual energy is used without intelligence.  You find Karmasaya in the image related with the temptations of Saint Anthony, in which many women are trying to get him.  That is a symbol of all of the sexual bonds that we made in the past, and that we have to erase.  They are related with Karmasaya. We have to suffer a lot in order to erase that karma.  This is not easy, since those egos are related with Karmasaya, which is an unforgivable karma.  When we pay Karmasaya, then we disintegrate that ego.  We have to pay the consequences of it in many ways.  Most of Karmasaya is related with emotional pain.

The ego is a mental substance. It takes various forms. These forms constitute conditions. It is transformed with the sexual force. These sexual transformations or modifications are the thought-waves, whirlpools or conditions of the mind. Through adultery, the ego causes psychosomatic bonds. The karmic effect of this psychosomatic cause is formed in the mind. This effect will settle and another condition will be formed when it becomes involved with another mate. Countless conditions arose and subsided in our mind throughout many lifetimes. These conditions cause psychosomatic restlessness.

Why do psychosomatic conditions arise? Because of return and recurrence. If we annihilate all egos, all conditions will disappear. But this kind of Karmasaya is annihilated only after suffering the consequences.  Not before.  This is non-negotiable karma.  If we hurt somebody through adultery in our past lives, now we have to be hurt.  We are submitted to the law of return and recurrence.

When a sexual psychosomatic condition settles, it leaves a definite psychosomatic sexual impression in the subconscious mind. This is known as psychosomatic or latent sexual impression. The psychosomatic latent sexual impression creates “Karmasaya” or a receptacle for karmic effects. This is non-negotiable Karma.

When at death the ego leaves the physical body, it carries this negative karma related with Karmasaya to the mental plane.

Karmasaya can only be paid by a great psychosomatic suffering, through initiation.

Positive astral values bring health and joy. Negative astral values materialize into sicknesses and bitterness. Thus, because of the abuse of the sexual energies, we have created a lot of astral negative values, defects, as you see in the paintings of Saint Anthony where he is surrounded by many weird creatures.  These are personifications of our own defects, vices that exist in the unconsciousness, subconscious of every one of us. We want to be saints, as Saint Anthony wanted to be a saint.  But, unfortunately, those weird entities are always bugging him, as they bug us, all day.  So, we have to be patient and keep ahead, and to comprehend them in order to eliminate them.

In other paintings, you find Saint Anthony trying to work with the Lord, but instead of the Lord on the cross, he sees a woman crucified.  His subconscious is betraying him, and this is because of Kamaduro.  That is the last karma that the initiate has to pay, because of past abuse of sex.

Kamaduro is the outcome of conflict between the divine fire of Christ and the flaming desire of the mind or of the ego.  The poisonous emanations that are generated by the poisonous sulfur (lust) bring into action unbridled energy, Kamaduro. In other words, the psychosomatic nature of the individual is not in harmony with divine fire (INRI). The divine fire seeks to reconcile the disparate psychosomatic elements, but desire paralyzes the divine fire, and then Kamaduro occurs. In other words, the psychosomatic nature of the individual is not in harmony with the divine fire of his Glorian.  The divine fire of his Glorian seeks to reconcile the disparate psychosomatic elements, but the desire paralyzes the activity of the Glorian, and Kamaduro occurs.  So, in order for the Glorian to finally settle down into that individual, the individual has to pass through death.  Only with death can we kill death.  That is the cause of sicknesses that originate because of the abuse of sex.  These sicknesses are numerous: AIDS and cancer exist because of the abuse of sex.  Poverty is also the outcome of sexual abuse.  So, we have to learn how to transmute the sexual energy.

Ens Nature

Ens Nature is related with the superior part of the physical body: the vital body, the ethereal body, which is related with the sephirah Yesod.  Here, we find that the vital body is directly related with the spleen.

The spleen receives solar energy when we are physically sleeping.  The vital body places that solar light in the physical body through the spleen.  The spleen distributes that solar light through the solar plexus into the parasympathetic nervous system.  The spleen transforms the white cells into red cells in the blood.

The vital or ethereal body is also related with Yesod, the sexual glands.  This is why we can only transmute, or transform ourselves through the sexual glands.

Michael, the Logos of the Sun, is related with the solar plexus.  Michael is the one that places the Prana, the one who deposits the solar energy in the atmosphere of the Earth, that the vital body collects and through the spleen distributes it into our organism.

In the Conjuration of the Seven, it says “in the name of Michael, may Jehovah command thee and drive thee hence, Chavajoth!”  Chavajoth is the negative aspect of the moon, while Jehovah is its positive aspect.

The moon rules Yesod; it rules the ethereal and astral planes.  That is why it is stated that Michael is the ruler of the lunar Jewish religion. According to the Bible, the messenger of Michael that was incarnated was EL-IAO, or Elijah, the prophet.  That is why it is written that it is necessary that Elijah comes first, in order for the Lord to be baptized.  Michael represents the fire, the sulfur, and Elijah, as the messenger of Michael, is the messenger of the Solar Logos.

Some students in Gnosticism mistakenly think that Jesus of Nazareth is the Logos of the Sun, or the center of the solar system.  To clarify, Jesus is one with the Logos, the Cosmic Christ, but he is not the Logos of the Sun.  Jesus of Nazareth, the Master Aberamentho, is a Paramarthasatya, a being whose abode is in the Absolute, and knows how to travel into it.  Yet, in order to work on this planet Earth, and in order to help the Monads of this planet Earth, he needs the permission of the Logos of this planet Earth, and the Logos of the Sun, Michael.  This is why it is stated that Elijah reincarnated in John the Baptist, in order to welcome the Lord, the Paramarthasatya Aberamentho, to do His work in this planet; because Elijah, as John the Baptist, is a messenger of Michael, the Logos of the Sun.

That is why John the Baptist says to Jesus: “I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?”  Obviously, everybody needs to be baptized by the fire of Christ.  But, the Nous Atom, being better, and in contact with the Monad, with the Glorian, needs to descend into the ninth sphere, in order to be baptized with the waters of Mary.

This brings to mind the Hebrew letter Mem, the symbol of water in Kabbalah.  Mem is also representative of Mary, or Miriam, the mother of Yeshua, which is the phallus, Iod.  You also see for instance, the husband of Mary is Joseph, or IO-Cephas, the phallus in the stone.  In the previous lecture, the speaker talked about the stone in relation with the phallus, “Hermes,” IO-Cephas, IO, Iod; so you see in “IO”, how the two polarities relate.  You need Mary, the water (mem), in order to be born again in Yesod.  That is why Jesus is written with Iod, because in Hebrew, you write the name of Jesus with Iod in the beginning.  That Iod is the phallus.

The phallus cannot acquire anything without the vulva, and this is why Mary Magdalene is necessary; Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus.  Ignoramuses say, “No, no, no, Jesus was single.”  No, listen, Jesus couldn’t have achieved the level of the Son of God without a woman, because God is Male-Female.  In the beginning, God created man into His own image, “male-female He created them,” because God is both.  If you want to be a son of God with just a male body, then you are just half.  Those people that think that God is male are half atheists, because God is Male-Female.

‘Mary’ represents the raw matter of the great work.  Mary is the pure Akasha that the universe uses in order to create.

“Magdalene’ is an interesting word.  If you go now to the Middle East, you will find a city called Magdalene, or something similar.  At the time of Jesus, that city didn’t exist, because the word ‘Magdalene’ came from the word ‘Mag’ which means priest, or priestess.  ‘Dalene, or Dalan’ means valley, a word in ancient Celtic, coming from the white race.  Mag-dalene means therefore: a Priestess Adept from other lands or valleys: a white priestess wife.

Jesus was Jewish on the side of his mother Mary.  His father, physically speaking, was Celtic.  Jesus’ wife, Mary Magdalene, was also of the white race.  His wife was not a Jewish woman.  This was precisely the problem there at that time, because Mary, the wife of Jesus, was from the land of the white people.  She was a “Dalene,” a priestess of the white race.  She was also a great initiate.  But, of course, the Jewish tradition at the time could not admit the spreading of the secret knowledge (Daath) of the Kabbalah among the gentiles, the white people.  And that is precisely the problem that still exists in this day and age.

Thinking that Jesus was not married is ignorance.  Jesus needed the genes, the sexual force of Nature.  Nature is in the woman.  If a woman wants to Self-realize, she needs a man, and if a man wants to self-realize, he needs a woman.

Yet the body of woman expresses more Nature than man, this is shown by the fact that the woman’s womb creates the baby over the course of nine months (Yesod).  Thus, a womb is what Jesus needed in order to be baptized in Ens Nature, a woman.  That woman was represented by “MM” and is Mary Magdalene, the priestess of the white race.

In the womb, in Malkuth, you find how Judas enters into action.  Judas, related with the sexual glands, betrayed the Lord in the sex.  Judas (Judah) was very jealous, because Mary Magdalene was a white woman.

Then took Mary (Magdalene) a pound of ointment of spikenard (the perfume of Tiphereth), very costly, and anointed the feet (Malkuth, physical body) of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair (sexual alchemy): and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment (of chastity).

Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot (in the sexual glands), Simon's son, which should betray him, why was not this ointment (solar feminine force of this woman) sold for three hundred (Shin, fire) pence, and given to the poor (in spirit)? This he said, not that he cared for the poor (in spirit); but because he was a thief (a fornicator), and had the bag (testicles or ovaries), and bare (the Shin, the fire) what was put therein.

Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this (Shin, fire). For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. – John 12: 3-8

So this was the big problem at the time; because the problem of the initiate is always related with sex.  This is cryptically written in the Bible; other very explicit verses were taken out by the Pharisees.  Yes, sex is the main thing here; and how the men of Judah were disappointed; yes it is written there in some parts of the Bible how the Pharisees were disappointed at Jesus when Mary, symbolically, is anointing his feet, which is Malkuth (the physical body).

And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat.

And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner (anyone with the ego alive is a sinner), when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment (clear symbol of the feminine womb), and stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears (symbol of sexual transmutation), and did wipe them with the hairs (solar emanations) of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the (feminine) ointment (of sex).

Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of (gentile) woman (not a Jew) this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.

And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee.

And he saith, Master, say on.

There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.- Luke 7:36-48

In other words, Mary Magdalene helps him in his initiation. They said: If this man was a prophet, he would know that this woman is not a Jew, but a gentile, who does not know anything about our tradition.  This is why they accuse Mary of being of the bad life – yet, the reality is that any woman, in this life, has defects, vices; and as men we need to work with the feminine waters in order to rise.

The Nous atom or the Son of Man needs the assistance of Mary - “Mem” the waters - it needs to descend into Bethany (the house of figs) into the sexual feminine glands in order to receive the waters of baptism - the secret science of John the Baptist.  Thus, after that anointment, he rises from the waters, and thereafter he appears as our Jesus, the Christ.  Baptism without the transmutation of the sexual feminine waters is impossible.

Now you understand how diseases crystallize in the physical body because of the wrong use of sex. The vital body “Ens Nature” is fortified by the sexual force in different ways, in order for us to have a healthy physical body as well.  In the vital body, we have the roots of cancer, AIDS.  Thus, if we treat the vital body, then at least we can help ourselves.  We are not stating here that we will eliminate Kamaduro, because that is impossible.  But at least to heal ourselves in the meantime through the initiation, in order to pay that Kamaduro in other lives.  There are many ways to pay it.

Now you also understand why any prophet, male prophet, could not have become a prophet without a wife.  Jesus could not have been Jesus without Mary Magdalene.  Mary Magdalene and Jesus are one.  This is why you find in the book Pistis Sophia how Mary understands the Word of Jesus better than the twelve apostles; because Mary and Jesus are one, as Adam and Eve are one.  Eve was taken from Adam, and before Eve was taken from Adam, she was within Adam.  And now of course, Adam, being single, needs Eve again in order to return to Divine Androgyne.

Ens Nature has its basis in the sexual glands and the spleen, and in knowing how to sleep, how to rest.

In the vital body we have our own particular John the Baptist and we also have another lady - who the Master in his book of Occult Medicine and Practical Magic calls “the Maiden of Memories.”  This is because the vital body is related with the Tattvas.  In synthesis, we state that the vital body is related with the four ethers.

• The ether of life, related with sex
• The chemical ether, related with the metabolism of the physical body
• The reflective ether
• The luminous ether

These two superior ethers - reflective and luminous - are related with the Maiden of Memories.  If you want to remember everything that happens in the internal worlds, you have to ask to your Innermost to bring the Maiden of Memories, which is that part of the being that usually abides in the ethereal world.  That Maiden is related with the feminine aspect, and works only in the sexual union of husband and wife.  This is how we separate the ethers, or the vital body, and we learn how to be healthy, both physically and psychologically.  So, we need that feminine aspect of Nature.

Thus, in our Ens Nature, our individual Entity of Nature, the vital body, is the third cause of illness. Yet, we find now that also in nature we find the Ens Espirituale, the entity of the Spirit, which relates with the same forces of Nature.

Ens Espirituale

The ethereal world is related with the Tattvas.

• The Tattva Tejas (fiery vibration) is related with the Salamanders
• The Tattva Apas (liquid vibration) is related with the Nereids, or Mermaids of the water
• The Tattva prithvi (solid or earthy vibration) is related with the Gnomes and Pygmies
• The Tattva Vayu (gaseous vibration) is related with the Sylphs of the air

There are modifications of the Akasha.

Regarding Ens Espirituale, you find Moses. This is because, Biblically speaking, he is the one who represents the power of the Spirit. Moses performs marvels, prodigies, in front of the Pharaoh.  Why?  Because, he rose the Kundalini or serpent of bronze, as it is written:

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man (the Nous atom) be lifted up. - John 3: 14

Thus, when you do what we are explaining here, you will develop the powers of the apostles.  You will develop the powers of the prophets, then you can command Nature.  Those elements: Salamanders, Sylphs, Gnomes and Pygmies, and Undines and Nereids, are related with the four elements.  The Four Winds, as the Book of Revelation states, that not only act in the planet, but in the physical body.  This is how you can heal and cure, and to execute what Moses – as it is written in the Bible – executed before the Pharaoh, which is a psychological transformation.

Notwithstanding, we have to comprehend that in this world, there also exists the opposite of the Kundalini, the opposite of the Serpent of Bronze that healed the Israelites in the wilderness.  That opposite is the Kundabuffer organ, which is the tempting Serpent of Eden, that the witches and black magicians develop.  Anybody that awakes evil powers does so through the Kundabuffer organ, the tempting serpent of Eden; such a person can become a black shaman.  As here in the north we say: “this is a black shaman providing black medicine.”  This is what the natives here in the north said.  Well, medicine is something good.  But if the Shaman uses black magic, they use the term “black medicine” instead of the term “black magic.”  Because a good shaman, they say, provides good medicine.

In Ens Espirituale, you learn about Circe.  In the book of Homer, The Odyssey, you read how through her magic Circe was transforming men into pigs, into animals.  The witchcraft of Circe is within every woman.  Every woman has the power to transform men into pigs, when they identify with their sexuality.  Odysseus is the one who controls her and does not fornicate.  He controls Circe.  Notwithstanding, those people that like to fornicate and commit adultery, they become like pigs, like animals.  That is the symbol hidden within it, since, when you are driven by Nahemah, the evil aspect of sex, you become the Whore who is seated upon that dragon with seven heads in the book of Revelation.

Nevertheless, there are different sicknesses caused by witchcraft, by sorcery, that only can be cured with the same powers, which are the positive powers developed by Moses, and also the Son of Man in the heart can do it.

This is done by skillfully handling the plants; the plants are the healthy physical vehicles of those spiritual forces.  Remember that the Cosmocreators are guiding those Monads that are evolving in the mineral kingdom, plant kingdom, and in the animal kingdom.  The Angels command those Monads in their evolution.  So, the Angels control legions of Monads, or elementals, or fairies.  However, the black magicians - when they awaken - also know how to command them, since the elementals do not know the difference between good and evil.  Elementals just obey those powers that are above them.  Thus, a black magician, a sorcerer, a witch, can do that, and cause harm, mentally, physically, and psychosomatically – to anybody.

This is why the Master wrote his books Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, Igneous Rose, and many other books that teach us how to defend ourselves against witches and sorcerers, who are as numerous as the sand on a beach.  They are many. Many of them enter into this knowledge and repent.  But many of them do not repent.  So you must learn how to defend yourself against them, which is, you must learn how to cure yourself, because I repeat: there are many sicknesses that are not due to karma, that are not because of your bad behavior, but that are originated by these evil entities.

Ens Dei

NEMESIS

Evil or wrong actions originate the fifth cause of illness, the Ens Dei, the entity of God, which in this case relate to the laws of karma, cause and effect.  Indeed, our debts are so numerous; our ego is so great, that if we want to pay what we owe, we need really a lifetime of conscious work.  Nevertheless, for people that live commonly, without entering into the initiation, the law of karma, the law of God is merciful. If the Gods, who work through the law, wanted to collect all the karma of all the people in one life, they would kill everybody.  There would be no humanity here.  That is why they are giving us the option, through this knowledge, of paying what we owe.  And that is Ens Dei.

The Elohim give us the opportunity to pay through initiation, but Ens Dei is also accomplished in Hell, or the Infradimensions. All karma has to be paid; nobody can mock the law.  If you have a lot of karma, remember that karma can be paid through physical illnesses, i.e. cancer is the karma of fornication.  Tuberculosis is the karma of skepticism, atheism.  Leprosy is also is the karma of fornication.  Cruelty, as we already explained - when you use clairvoyance in the wrong way, and you are skinning alive your neighbor - if you are emotionally and physically cruel to a person, this can cause you to be born blind.  This is why we say, when we clairvoyantly see things, before talking, we must comprehend everything, and if it does not concern our life, it is better to shut up, because we can harm people; thus, do not think that because we are initiates and because we are doing this or doing that we cannot gain a lot of karma, because defamation is cruelty.  Remember, everybody is evil here.  If we enter here into this path, it is because we want to change.

Notwithstanding, those who do not want to change, who do not want to pay their karma through initiation, well, Ens Dei is also performed in the nine infra layers of nature.  The nine Infradimensions, called Hell or Inferno, are made for that.  In order for you to little by little, pay what you owe.  Every hundred years in Hell, you pay a debt.  Thus, when you reach the ninth sphere you are done, so, little by little, in every layer you are paying a karmic debt.  But let me tell you, it is a thousand times better to pay your karma here through initiation than to fall down there and to pay it in the Infradimensions of nature, since that is very painful.

Through karma the law teaches you; this is how - through pain - the essence learns and the Innermost absorbs the sapience of sin, and learns through pain.  But instead we can do it through Initiation.

So, these are the five causes of illness.  If someone is born blind, it is because he was cruel in past lives.  If somebody is a baby that needs a liver transplant, or a kidney transplant, or heart transplant, it is because this soul abused those intelligent parts of his divine intelligence – which are the twelve apostles, related with those organs - in former bodies, in past lives   It all depends on how we use the solar force, since the reaction or effect in a new body is based on that cause.  This is what is called karma, or Ens Dei.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can you explain the relationship between the three souls of Kabbalah: Ruach, Nephesh, Neshamah, and the twelve apostles.

A: Neshamah is a spiritual entity, related with our Monad, with our Innermost, and part of that descends evolves in the Earth.  That is the essence, the Buddhata.  The other souls, Ruach and Nephesh, are related with the protoplasmic bodies. Knowledge, experiences of the consciousness, related with the mineral kingdom, plant kingdom, animal kingdom, that unfortunately in this state in which we are, are being used in the wrong way.  And this is how we create disharmony.  Harmony is created when Nephesh and Ruach, the animal soul and the thinking soul, start obeying Nous, which means when John is placing his head - that animal mind - on the heart of Jesus.

The instinct, Nephesh, is under the control of Judas, because Nephesh acts through the senses, muscles, and desires.  We have to transform Nephesh; this is to comprehend it, to put all of those atomic forces of Nephesh under the service of the Innermost – our mind, our thinking mind has to be under the service of Nous as well, has to pass through a transformation.  And of course, we have to kill the egos in order to acquire that.  Remember that the part of Neshamah that learns from Nous is the essence.

Q: What is the cause of stuttering?  Egos, or karma?

A: It is when someone used the word in the wrong way. Symbolically, everybody stutters.  Jesus made to speak those that cannot speak, those that cannot hear.

What of those who cannot understand this lecture, who cannot understand the meaning of this?  Well, their Phillip is really dead – the thyroid gland.  They need to put their inner Phillip into activity.  Phillip understands what is written in the scriptures.  And they need to awaken Bartholomew, but don’t skin people alive, because that is bad.  Know how to use those powers together, and then you will see, because everybody is blind, spiritually speaking.  Everybody is mute, and stutters.  You want to communicate this knowledge, but you stutter.  Well, work a lot with the sound “Eh” as a mantra.  That awakes Phillips a little bit, but he will awaken completely only with chastity.

Q: The Temple of Alden, what do we ask for that?  Is it medical assistance?

A: The Temple of Alden is a temple of medicine, located in the astral plane.  There, the masters of medicine help anybody who is sick, physically, or internally.

Q: Can they supercede karma?

A: No. In Gnosticism, we have a lot of magical work in which you can invoke the angels, the masters of medicine in order to heal you, to heal your astral body, your vital body, or mental body.  But, the masters can only help if the illness is not karmic.  Many times we ask for the healing of an X person - because we even ask for the healing of people from all the parts of the world who are not even Gnostic.  Thus, because of compassion, we ask for him to be healed, maybe because he is a relative.  But if his sickness relates to Kamaduro, Karmasaya, you can ask a thousand times and that person cannot be healed, because the masters of medicine obey the law.  They arrive to the place where the sick person is, and if the Masters of the law of karma say ‘no’, then they leave.  But they always try.  If that sickness is curable, then they will perform their spiritual medicine in the vital body in order to heal the physical body.  If it is related with the astral body, they will place it there, and eventually they will be healed.

We have to study psychology, Kabbalah, alchemy, in order not to keep doing the same cause and effect; because if we are sick it is because of our stupidity.  Thus to have the right answer, we have to awaken wisdom, intelligence on the path.

Q: I heard that the Temple of Alden is in the Astral Plane in Germany, and I’ve also heard from others that Alden is the heart Temple of Mercury.  Which is correct?

A: They mention Mercury because the Archangel Rafael is the angel of Medicine, of Science.  Alden is the Temple where all the masters – Paracelsus, Galenus, Hippocrates, the angel Adonai, and many other great doctors are, helping this humanity in this day and age.  Now, if the temple is in Germany, I really do not know.  I have never investigated that.  The only thing that I want when I need to be healed is to go there, and the Innermost always takes you there.

If you go to the Astral Plane consciously and you say “My Father, my God, please take me to the Temple of Alden,” He will take you to the Temple of Alden, because the Innermost knows.  However, if you want to know the address, you can go and ask.  But if you are sick, why would you want to ask that?  It may be in Germany, I really do not know.  I have never inquired where the Temple of Alden is.  But that it is related with Mercury?  Yes, it is.

Q: If you have dharma, can you negotiate to cure an illness?

A: Of course.  The Master also explained, if you want to be healed, heal others.  Work for others.  Anything you ask for, you must pay for.  This is the law.  Nothing is given for free.  That is why one of the three factors of the revolution of the consciousness is sacrifice for humanity.  Giving is how we pay for what we owe.  That is why people who are sacrificing themselves for years and years and years in this knowledge, they say “But I am in the same level, and I am not receiving, I do not see”, well that is because you are paying what you owe.  You do not deserve anything.  So, when you reach and approach the level of Self-realization do not say: “Oh well, I deserve this.”  This is why the Master Jesus said:

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. - Luke 17: 10

Thus, what we did is what we should have done. That is it. We do not deserve any praises, since everybody has to self-realize here.

We want to enter into the Absolute as a conqueror.  Our Glorian wants to awaken all the infinite possibilities. Now, Samael, Michael, Rafael, Zachariel, and all of those Archangels, or Cosmocreators, already did it, and they want to help us.  That is why they give us the Innermost, in order for us to work and to develop our Glorian.  When we return into the Absolute as a Self-realized Master, then the Ain Soph will say, “Well, now you need to appear into the next Mahamanvantara, and to help others as you were helped.”  This is the law.

If we succeed, perhaps we will enter into the thirteenth Aeon, and rest.  Jesus did it.  He entered into the thirteenth eon.  Most of the masters that Self-realize enter into the twelfth, which is the Ain Soph.  Jesus entered into the thirteenth, and he renounced it out of compassion.  So, he is a Paramarthasatya; he does not need to be here in this Earth.  But he is here for compassion.

Regrettably, humanity did not understand his mission, they think he died, or he was killed two thousand years ago, and they believe that everybody who “believes in him” is saved; but, what about our development?  What about our Glorian?  You think that the Glorian will develop just by believing?  If a man has a woman and says “Okay wife, sit there and believe that you are going to be pregnant.” She will say, “Wait a minute, what do you mean?”  Yet, the man will say to her “If you believe that, you will be pregnant.”  Incongruent, is it not?  Listen, Joseph had to sexually act with Mary, but in the chaste way.  This is why it is hidden.

Q: You said there was an apostle that always doubts –

A: Thomas.

Q: Yes.  How is that different from the skepticism and doubt you were talking about?

A: Well, it is not that Thomas is skeptical.  Thomas wants to be sure because he is in the right part of the brain, related with experiences, intuition, the internal planes, polyvoyance, superlative intuition.  As an example, if an image appears to us and says, “I am a Master.”  Thomas says, “Oh yes?  I will test that.  If this image is not projected by the mind of this mythomaniac down there, if it really is the Glorian reaching Self-realization, let me prove that.”  And if he sees something queer there, he says, “Ah, you are an image, a projection!”

It is written that you shall not make any image of God; meanwhile your mind is creating something there, which is ominous, that looks like Jesus but is not Jesus.  You are not a master, you are a mythomaniac.  So, only Thomas can say if one is a master or not.

Oftentimes on the path, you will think you are a master, or that you have reached this or that level, because your own egos can cheat you, betray you, and you can fall into mistakes.  This often happens in the Gnostic movement; everybody who enters into the Gnostic movement enters with ego.  If you are not aware, the ego can cheat you and tell you that you are the master of this or that, and you return to your body, and when you analyze things, your inner Thomas can tell you the truth.  Thomas does not buy things very easily.  Thomas is the last word, he proves the truth, and that is why we need Thomas.

Q: If Thomas is related to direct experience, why did Jesus tell Thomas it is better to believe without seeing?

A: It is better to believe without seeing. In the beginning we start out blind.  Everybody enters as blind.  Here you listen to all of this – can you prove it?  Can your Thomas prove it?  Your Thomas is not active!  So Jesus says, well, it is better to believe before you develop your own Thomas.  But Thomas is a great apostle.  If you read The Pistis Sophia, you will see how Thomas gives explanations about things, because Thomas is really cognizant, and related with vivid experiences.  Before our Thomas reaches the level of cognizance, we have the right and the duty of believing without seeing.

All of what I said in this lecture is from the Master Samael Aun Weor and the Master Adonai.  They taught me. If you read The Three Mountains you will find how the Master Samael says “my great friend, the Angel Adonai.”  Well, all of these physical aspects of the glands are from the Master Adonai – they are not my invention.  I am learning from him, and experiencing, and I know that Master Adonai is a Master, is an Angel.  Many of these things I experienced already, and I have faith.  My Thomas is sure.  But does your inner Thomas know these things? I don’t know your Thomas; everyone has his own particular Thomas.

Q: So we can awaken the apostles with mantras and transmutation?

A: To awaken the twelve apostles is the Self-realization of the Being.  In the Book of Revelation you find that the celestial Jerusalem that descends from God has twelve doors.  These are related with the twelve apostles.  Self-realization is the complete development of Jesus and his twelve apostles, which are related with the sun and the twelve planets, this is all the cosmic forces in harmony in the Glorian.

We have to start in the physical plane.  We have to know how the Apostles are related with the glands in order for us to work wisely.

I was, for instance, studying the appendix, and many doctors here say in accordance with subjective evolution, “the appendix is nothing, you can operate and take it out,” like it is just a piece of flesh hanging there from the intestines.  It is not.  Everything has the right to be there in the body.  This is the grand sympathetic nervous system.

Q: Can you give examples of physical ailments related to Ens Astrale?

A: Let us talk about James the Elder, whose letter (epistle) can be studied in the New Testament, in the Bible.  He says you have to control your tongue, because people use their tongue in the wrong way from this center, from the pit of the stomach.  The person who acts and uses that force in the wrong way creates poisons and egos in the astral level, which transform that energy in the wrong way and cause different illnesses in that area of the stomach, like ulcers.  Anger, for instance.  If you talk always with anger, the liver becomes a problem, and the stomach as well with ulcers, etc..

Many types of diseases in this day and age arise because the astral light in that part or area of that body is poisoned with bad substances that we eat.  For instance, problems or sicknesses of the brain are related with what you put in your system, that is related for instance with Simon the Zealot.  You know what it is to be a zealot, right?  To be jealous of only the things of God.  But there are people that think, “Oh, to smoke marijuana is good!  To take mushrooms is good, too.  Take this drug or whatever, in order to awaken.”  If you put these things in your system in order to awaken the subconscious, Simon the Zealot will not admit you to go into the superior worlds and to experience the superior worlds.  He will send you to Hell.  Then you end with sickness in the brain.  This occurs because of cocaine and many other drugs.

Every function of the apostles in relation with our organs. The astral light is transformed into a poison because of our bad activity.  In the astral light, there is a battle between the black and the white magicians; Kundabuffer and Kundalini.  Unfortunately, we have a lot of Kundabuffer, poison sulfur, poison force, transforming the wrong way.  That is in relation with our transformation of impressions.  That is why the Innermost doesn’t do his self-realization through the mind. Esau is rejected, but Jacob and his twelve children are taken. Here you can see the meaning of the 12 also.

Q: In Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, there are a lot of formulas to protect or undo black magic.  What are some easy formulas to undo black magic?  A lot of the plants referred to by the text are hard to find.

A: Yes, that is precisely one of the problems. In the past I experienced that when you awaken you see many evil entities that do evil because of a gain, because they enjoy doing it, they don’t even hate you, they just want to see if you practice what you teach, you know?  Many times people have hurt me in that way, and I defend myself always with a lemon tree.  The lemon tree is the best! I don’t know if you know how to work with the lemon tree, but you can learn it in The Major Mysteries.  The work with the lemon tree in order to kill any type of black magic.  It is the best.

Of course, there are others procedures, of which the Master talks.  Another plant is the Aloe Vera; those elementals are very strong.  There are many that the Master explains in the book Occult Medicine and Practical Magic, in order to defend yourself.

And well, if you live in a cold region, you have to have a green house, and you have to know how to handle it because there are many tropical plants that cannot survive in cold weather.

Q: What’s the Alpha prayer?

A: The prayer Fons Alpha et Omega helps in order to reject any negative force, but you have to do it every day, or until you know the cause of the negative force, because that mantra shows the source of the problem, or how the negative energy that is coming will act.  Thus, when you discover that, that is, when you discover the source, then you work in a spiritual manner, in order to defend yourself.  It reveals to you the source of the evil within.

Q: How exactly?

A: Physically, or in your experiences, you see, since you are the only one that can see it, because you are the one who pronounced the mantra.  You are the only one that can see from where that evil vibration is coming.  Sometimes, the negative vibration is willingly done.  Sometimes it is unwillingly.  Tthere are many egos inside of people related with witchcraft, with sorcery.  Those egos sometimes work independently, and sometimes the person that owns that ego does not know it.  That is why I said, use your Bartholomew in the right way.  Sometimes, if you accuse somebody because you see something internally, you have to be sure that the person is conscious of what his or her ego is doing.  Otherwise, we fall into cruelty.

Q: What’s the difference between saying a prayer and practicing with a plant?

A: Well, with the prayer, you are rejecting the force, and trying to see, in order not to be hurt.  The plant is protection as well, but also you can use it to heal if the physical body is already hurt.  So with the plant you can protect and heal your physical body as well.

I advise you to study Occult Medicine and Practical Magic and Igneous Rose.  Those are the two books where the Master teaches all of this.  And of course, meditate a lot.  And study this lecture many times, in order to comprehend your physical nature.

Q: When you say study, can you really study Occult Medicine and Practical Magic?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you memorize every prayer?  What do you mean by study?

A: Meditate on it.  A real initiate, a real magician, knows the Conjuration of the Seven, of the Four, the Invocation of Solomon, and the Exorcisms of the Air, Water, Earth and Fire by memory.  Fons Alpha et Omega, by memory as well.  Because if you are in the Astral Plane and you are in danger, where is the book of medicine?  You have to know these things.  It has to be in your mind.  Otherwise the black magician will look at you, as a demon is attacking you, and you will say, “In the name of…” and he will say, “Ha, you do not even remember,”  Or you might say: “wait I will return to the physical plane to read the book, and then go back to the Astral Plane to conjure you.”  And then the black magician would say “Oh yes, do it, yet in the meanwhile I will kick your butt.”  So, you have to know things by memory.

Q: But what is the benefit of asking your Being for help when you are being attacked in the Astral Plane?

A: Sometimes in the internal planes, I want to conjure somebody, and then my own ego is acting against me.  I feeling like I am stuttering.  I realize that it is my ego, a part of me that is hurting me. Then I pray: “My Father, my God, Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, etc…” then all the force comes from the Innermost and rejects that negative thing that you are seeing, which most of the time relate to your own egos.  The secret enemy is within.  It is also without, but more often within than without.

Now you can comprehend why we use a lot of images, because they help to visualize, to understand, what we are talking about.  Read this lecture many times until you understand.
