Bodhichitta-Soma Psuchikon & Bodhisattva-Soma Pneumatikon

Only those who have developed the Bodhichitta in themselves and who have renounced all nirvanic happiness for the love of humanity can qualify themselves as Bodhisattvas.

The Alchemist who does not sacrifice himself for humanity can never become a Bodhisattva. Only the Bodhisattvas with compassionate hearts who have given their life for humanity can incarnate the Intimate Christ. We must make a complete differentiation between the Sravakas and Buddhas Pratyekas on one side and the Bodhisattvas on the other.

The Sravakas and Buddhas Pratyekas only preoccupy themselves with their particular perfection without caring a bit for this wretched suffering humanity. Obviously, the Buddhas Pratyekas and Sravakas can never incarnate Christ. Only the Bodhisattvas who sacrifice themselves for humanity can incarnate Christ.

The sacred title of Bodhisattva is legitimately attained only by those who have renounced to all Nirvanic happiness for the love of suffering humanity.

Obviously, before the Bodhisattva is born the Bodhichitta must be formed within ourselves. Furthermore, it is important to clarify the necessity of disintegrating the ego, the "I", in order for the Bodhichitta to emerge. The Bodhichitta is formed with the merits of love and supreme sacrifice for our fellow men. The Bodhisattva is formed within the environment and psychological atmosphere of the Bodhichitta.

We must not make the mistake of mistaking the Bodhichitta with the Bodhisattva.

The Bodhichitta is the awakened and developed superlative consciousness of the Being. The Bodhichitta emerges in the aspirant who sacrifices himself for his fellow men long before the mercurial bodies have been created. - The Pistis Sophia Unveiled

We are arriving at the realm of the Bodhisattva, the level of Tiphereth, which according to the Tree of Life is the sixth Sephirah, Kabbalistically named the Son of Man.

It is important to clarify here different aspects by utilizing now the Tree of Life, so we invite you to utilize the tool that we have in Kabbalah, which is, the Tree of Life. Since we are going to point at the Tree of Life during the course of this disquisition in order for you to understand.

Why are we utilizing the Tree of Life, Kabbalah, in order to explain the Bible? This is because the entire Bible is a Kabbalistic book. Thus, when we study those aspects of Christianity related with Buddhism, we must refer to the four gospels and specifically to the epistles of Paul of Tarsus, who was a Gnostic Rabbi.

Let us understand that a Gnostic is somebody that knows and practices the mystery of Daath. Daath (a Hebrew word) is the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Daath in Greek is Gnosis. Daath, Gnosis, translates as knowledge; it is always related with the sexual force.

When Paul of Tarsus knew about Daath, about Gnosis, then he became a Gnostic Kabbalist. It is important to comprehend here that the one who explained the mystery of Daath to him-which is directly related with Tiphereth-the one who instructed him was the apostle Peter. Thus, if you read the gospels you will find how in the book of Acts, Paul of Tarsus, a rabbi-because he was a master, a rabbi, which means teacher, master, of Kabbalah, of Judaism-was persecuting the Gnostics. We do not say Christians, because at that time Christianity was unknown. Tthe word Christ comes from the Greek language, and later on the Gnostics were named Christians, but at that time, the mystery of Daath, Gnosis, which is something very sacred and secret, was being spread among the Kabbalists.

Paul of Tarsus was one of those rabbis who at that time was enraged because of the unrestricted diffusion of the Kabbalistic mysteries. But he was the one that was chosen by the Master, or better said, by Christ, in order to teach the mystery of Daath, Gnosis, to the gentiles, in other words, those who were not Hebrews, Israelites.

So therefore, being an expert Kabbalist, he was teaching this doctrine based on the Tree of Life, based on the Kabbalah; so when we study the epistles of Paul, if we do not know Kabbalah, if we ignore the Tree of Life, then we do not know what is he talking about. This is precisely the problem of modern Christianity; they study the Bible, yet they put aside the study of Kabbalah, the Tree of Life, because they think that it is an obscure science, and therefore they fall into the mistake of interpreting the Bible in accordance with their own whimsical minds; they ignore the deep meaning of the cryptogram, the Tree of Life.

So let us enter into our disquisition, which is the Theophany or Christophany. This is also called the manifestation of Christ, or the appearance of the mystery of Christ before the initiate, before the Bodhisattva in the sixth dimension, which the Bible symbolically calls the Mount of Olives.

In the Gospels you find different names of different mounts that exist in the physical plane; however these names were taken as symbols in order to explain certain mysteries so that the initiates can understand. When you read "going up into the mountain, up into the mount," it is the symbol of going out of your body into the fourth, fifth, or sixth dimension. In this case, the Mount of Olives is related with Tiphereth, which in the Tree of Life is the sixth Sephirah where we find the Monad.

The Monad is a trio of Spirit, Divine Soul, and Human Soul. Monad is rooted in the Greek word "Monas" which means unity; so each one of us has his own Monad, his own Spirit; we as souls are part of the Monad. Yes, we are souls, but embryos of souls.

Bodhisattva & Bodhichitta

This is what precisely Paul of Tarsus explains in one of his epistles, especially in his letter to the 1 Corinthians 15:49, when he talks about the true man, which we are explaining here. He said:

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

This translation is wrong. It should be:

And as we have borne the image of the psychological man...

This is the correct translation, since the Greek term "Soma Psuchikon" means "psychological or psychic man" not "earthly man."

Sequentially,

...we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The Bible says "heavenly," but the Greek is "Soma Pneumatikon." "Soma" means body, "Pneuma" means Spirit, and  "Ikon" means image.

So when we read 1 Corinthians 15:49 in modern Bibles, we see: "And as we have borne the image of the earthly man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly man." Therefore, when people read this translation, they think that they are already bearing the image of the earthly man. They ignore that "To Soma Psuchikon" means "the psychological body or soul body image."

Gurdjieff talks about that psychological man that we need to develop, to bear that image within, by super efforts.
Buddhism explains that we awaken the consciousness, the psyche, through meditation and different practices.

Yet Paul of Tarsus also refers to the bodies of sin. He talks in different epistles or letters about the bodies of sin, or natural sinful bodies. And fundamentalists do not know how to explain this because they ignore the Tree of Life, and they also ignore the science of Daath, which is Gnosis, the science of the Tree of Good and Evil.

To begin let us start explaining that we have an embryo of soul, in other words we have the capability of becoming a human being if we put in activity the Eikon, the image, the Tzalem of God, with the science of the Tree of Good and Evil, which is Tantra, Alchemy, sexual transmutation.

Our embryo of soul abides within the bodies of sin, which Gnostically, Kabbalistically, Paul of Tarsus talks about in the New Testament. These bodies of sin are the natural bodies that anybody has. Gnostics always point to these bodies of sin by studying the four Sephiroth at the bottom of the Tree of Life, which are: Netzach, Hod, Yesod, and Malkuth. They form the inferior quaternary. These four inferior Sephiroth are called the bodies of sin.

Why are they called the bodies of sin? It is because these bodies obey only the laws of evolution and devolution. Those are the bodies that evolve and devolve according to the wheel of Samsara, according to the laws of nature. The bodies of sin are:

  • The mental body and the emotional body, which are called protoplasmic bodies, which belong to the fifth dimension. The fifth dimension is related with Netzach and Hod.
  • Below the fifth dimension we have Yesod, related with the fourth dimension, in which we find the vital body, or the ethereal body.
  • Below the ethereal body we have our physical body.

These four bodies; Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth; mental, emotional, vital and physical; are what Paul of Tarsus calls the bodies of sin, or the sinful nature that only obey the mechanical laws of Nature.

You find these bodies in the mineral, plant, and animal kingdoms. These are not just the property of the humanoid, or the intellectual animal. The difference physically speaking-according to evolution-is that the physical body of the intellectional animal (us) is more evolved. And the protoplasmic, emotional, mental bodies that we have within are also in the summit of evolution; yes, the humanoid kingdom is their evolving limit.

This is something that you discover when you study any beast or irrational animal; you then find that they have protoplasmic bodies, too, but they do not have intellect. Their protoplasmic bodies are still in evolution. And in the mineral kingdom, plant kingdom, you also find the same bodies in a lower state of evolution. They evolve from the bottom to the top. The top of mechanical evolution is the intellect; this is it, no more. So when these bodies reach the level in which we are, the protoplasmic bodies along with the physical body start to devolve, to decay, to return into their own source, their own origin: the chaos. This chaos is what the Book of Revelation calls the Second Death, which means the annihilation of those protoplasmic bodies in another region of time. Emotion and mind are related to the fifth dimension, and the time span in the fifth dimension is different.

In this physical world you receive your matter, your body. At a certain age (an average of around eighty years), your physical body dies, and that body decays and turns into dust. That is called death. It happens to everybody. Similarly, our protoplasmic bodies evolved and grew, but in the fifth dimension, from the mineral kingdom, plant kingdom, animal kingdom, and when they reach the intellectual animal kingdom they reach the summit of evolution, then they start devolving, going down; they get old in other words. Thereafter, they sink into the infradimensions of nature in order to die. That is their process; it is a natural process. When they devolve, they work in accordance with the devolving laws of the Cosmos and Nature. And this is precisely the problem for the embryo of soul, because as souls we are always inside the protoplasmic bodies in accordance with the mechanicity of nature.

This is why it is stated that we have to be born again in order to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The second birth is something practical in which you utilize your sexual energy, in which you extract the ikon (tzalem in Hebrew, image in English) of God, from your own sexual matter, and create within yourself the glorious bodies, or the bodies of glory that Paul of Tarsus talks about. And that is the mystery; such is the mystery of Daath, or the mystery of the Tree of Good and Evil, the Tree of Knowledge.

Thus, without knowing the secret of sexual transmutation it is impossible to be born again. We have to create the Soma Psuchikon; this is what Paul of Tarsus taught. In the Bible it is poorly translated as "terrestrial or earthly man," when in reality  it should be the psychological or psychic man. Thus, in order to "bear the image" of that man, for that you have to understand what is to bear. Even the past tense of that word, borne, is related with birth. We have to be born, and in Corinthians chapter 15 verse 49 he says "As we have borne the image of the psychic man, the earthly man," meaning that he is talking to those that already made that creation, to those who already bear such image within themselves.

It is not to bear so as to carry something in your mind, no, because people think that to bear the image of the psychological man or the earthly man is to carry such a concept as an image in their mind, thus, they think "Oh I have to imagine or to understand in my mind what is the earthy man and that is it." Thus, they say, "in the same way that we borne the image of the earthly man, now, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly" thus they say, "Okay, that means that I have to carry the imagine of the heavenly man as well in order to understand, to comprehend with my imagination how the heavenly man might be." Understand, "to bear the image" has nothing to do with imagining anything, but with making the image real within.

And God said, Let us make man WITH our image, according to our likeness. - Genesis 1:26

Let us understand "to bear" is to hold up, to support. A support is something that is at the bottom, upon which we build something. It is a Foundation (Yesod). This is why Kabbalah always emphasizes that Yesod is related with the sexual organs. The translation of Yesod from Hebrew into English means "foundation." What is a foundation? Foundation is the lower support of a structure. And what is to bear? To bear is to hold up or to support. As when we also say, "Women bear children," can you see that? So "we shall bear the image" is not a statement related with believing in something or imagining something, but to do something with your sexual force, to bear the image of God as a woman bears a child inside, this is how you have to bear the image of the heavenly man within.  For this, we need to know Tantra, we need to know sexual transmutation, chastity, thus, this is what you have to know in order to do it.

In reference to this we find in the book of the apostle John, the reason why: when Andrew brought Peter to Jesus, Jesus addresses Peter as follows:

And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jonah: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone (a rock). - John 1:42

Then in Matthew 16: 18 and 19, he says to Peter:

That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Then Peter himself, who is the rock, the support, the foundation says in 1 Peter, chapter 2, verse 6 and 8:

Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence,

We have explained many times about the word "believe" as something that you have to hold dear inside of you, to love with all your being, that is, with the libido, sexual energy.

Peter, whose sacred name is Patar, means stone, Cephas. Peter is related with the pineal gland. The twelve apostles are related with twelve glands in the physical body that we have to work with.

The pineal gland is in relation with Kether. Kether is the first Sephirah of the Tree of Life. Kether in Hebrew means Crown. This aspect of this trinity Kether, Chokmah, Binah of the Tree of Life, is always related with the head, so Kether is exactly on the top of the head. It is what in Sanskrit is called the chakra Sahasrara or the Crown chakra, related with the pineal gland.

When we study endocrinology, we discover that the pineal gland is in intimate relation with the sexual glands, whether the ovaries of the woman or the testicles in the man. And the mystery of Daath is a sexual mystery, it is the way in which we control the sexual matter in order to liberate him, which is that entity that Peter in his epistles talks about. Peter says, "He that believeth in HIM"; who is that HIM? It is the Christic force, the Christ. It is the image of God that Paul of Tarsus talks about. It is precisely that Psuchikon or psychic icon that we have in the sex.

The power (the image) of God is hidden within the sexual force. So if we liberate that image which is that "Him" of Peter and that Paul of Tarsus talks about, then we build the church. The church in itself is the internal bodies that we have to build. It is not as people think, that Peter is the head of the church, the Catholic Church, or any other religion. In order for somebody to become the head of a physical religion, he has to build first his own temple within.

Therefore, in order to be a priest and to ritualize as Peter the first apostle, you have to build what Peter built in himself, which are the bodies of glory. This is why Paul of Tarsus is also called one of the heads of the church, because he teaches how to build those bodies that we are talking about here, which in Buddhism we call the Bodhichitta. This relates to the psychological work that we have to do in order to build the vehicle for the Lord. Master Samael states that the Bodhisattva has to grow inside the Bodhichitta.

We will say in other words: Tiphereth (which is related with Soma Pneumatikon) has to grow inside the Bodhichitta.

Remember that we stated that Pneuma is Spirit, remember that we said that Spirit is in relation with the Monad; the Monad is our own particular Spirit. So in order for us to bear the Spirit, the Monad, first we have to bear the psychological man, the soul, in other words, to build the Soma Psuchikon inside of us.

It is clearly stated there in 1 Corinthians 15: 49, that in the same manner that we have borne the image of the psychological man (Soma Psuchikon), we shall also bear the image of the spiritual man (Soma Pneumatikon). This is a process done through Sexual Alchemy, sexual transmutation, which Peter teaches. Sexual transmutation is the science of Peter, because Peter is in relation with the pineal gland. Peter teaches internally how to create within yourself the Soma Psuchikon and the Soma Pneumatikon. Without the science of Peter, it is impossible to do it. This is how Paul of Tarsus learned from Peter and this is how he taught it.

So behold here the great mistake of the fundamentalists. They think that they just imagine bringing into themselves (the terrestrial man) the image of God (the heavenly man), since they think that they already are the terrestrial man. But they are not, because the bodies of sin have to be annihilated, they have to be disintegrated, they have to die:

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (his image, his Ikon, his Tzalem) our Lord. - Romans 6:23

Jesus Christ is something that we have to comprehend by studying the Tree of Life. When you start transmuting your sexual energy, then you start as Paul of Tarsus says,

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus (against demons from the Abyss). - 1 Corinthians 15:31, 32

The Book of Revelation talks about the church of Ephesus. In many Gnostic lectures we have explained that the church of Ephesus is the chakra Muladhara, which is precisely located between the anus and the genitals. This is the magnetic center where the sexual force that has to rise in the spinal column abides.

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; these things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear (the image of) them which are evil (fornicators): and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne (the image), and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (of chastity); or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans (fornicators), which I also hate.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (the Pneuma) saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Thus, in the beginning there in our own Ephesus we start fighting with beasts. Which beasts? This is our own particular bestiality, our animal lust which we have within. Such a beast that we have within, against which we have to fight, is related with the protoplasmic bodies. The protoplasmic bodies are animal bodies that used to fornicate, to adulterate; this is normal for the protoplasmic bodies.

When you study irrational animals, you see that they fornicate and commit adultery, since this is normal amongst the beasts. But when we enter into the level of humanoid or intellectual animal (mistakenly called human), we receive codes, laws, knowledge, in order to create the Human Being within, codes in order to fight against the laws of the animals. That is a fight against the beast, because that fight is precisely in the very sexual act.  One begins (if one is single) to transmute the sexual energy with techniques of Pranayamas, breathing exercises, yet if we are married, then we start practicing sexual magic. Thus, every time that we perform the sexual act there is a fight against the beast, against the demons of the Abyss which are within. Lust precisely is the main one. And by fighting in Ephesus is how we start growing inside and building the Soma Psuchikon, the soul man, the psychic man within, which is a process that we explained in the previous lecture. The Body of Liberation becomes the physical body, a superior body that belongs to the fourth dimension, where we also find the Body of Gold which is made with the two superior ethers of the vital body. The Body of gold and the Body of Liberation became united and make an immortal physical body, which is a physical body that does not belong to the sinful nature that we have in this physical body, because this physical body that we have here in this physical world was created through fornication. Our physical mother fornicated with our physical father this is how she got pregnant, and this is how we got this physical body, so it is the outcome of fornication.

When we transmute the sexual energy and start sublimating it, then we start creating inside of us, by Hypostasis-as we explained in chapter six-the Body of Liberation and the Golden Body, which are two superior parts of Malkuth and Yesod. This is precisely how we start working with the Bodies of Glory. Thereafter, we create the body of Hod (which is called the Astral Emotional Superior Body), and the body of Netzach (which is the Mental Superior Body). These bodies are the outcome of chastity, of sexual transmutation. This is precisely what the Bible talks about in Genesis: how God made the human being into his own image, in other words, it is the human being made with the image of God, which is the Tzalem that we extract through sexual transmutation. Image in Hebrew is called Tzalem, this Tzalem is within the sexual energy of man and woman.

Now you understand why the pact of Abraham with God is the circumcision, and why every religion points always to the sex in relation with "being born again." The fundamentalists think that just by them believing (accepting Christ as their savior) they are born. They call themselves "born again" just because they believe in what is written in the Bible. Listen: in order to be a twice-born you have to do this transmutation which we are explaining here; in other words, you have to build the Soma Psuchikon, which Paul of Tarsus talks about, that is, "to bear the image of God" within you. And as you bear that image within you through the science of Daath, the science of sexual transmutation, likewise you must bear the image of the Pneumatikon or the heavenly man, which is above Netzach, which is Tiphereth, a topic which we are addressing right now.

Let us read again in the Bible something related with this topic in order for you to understand. Remember that we stated that the Mount of Olives is Tiphereth. In the book of Zachariah it is written that He says in "the Mount of Olives":

Two-Witnesses2.gif Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by (Adonai ha-Aretz) the LORD of the whole earth. - Zechariah 4: 11-14

Those who do not know the Tree of Life, who do not know the mystery of Daath, read this literally without understanding the meaning of what they are reading, since they ignore that the Mount of Olives is Tiphereth, the sixth dimension, which is where the spirits abide. The Mount of Olives is beyond the fifth dimension. Eternity is the fifth dimension, and that which is beyond eternity is the Spirit, the sixth dimension, which is where you find the Mount of Olives, symbolically speaking.  But here, regarding the physical plane, how do we know what or where that Mount of Olives is? Well, we will answer, we already said, where the Mount of Olives related with this planet Earth is, if we go to the Middle East we find the Mount of Olives there, and all those mounts that the Bible talks about in the Gospel. Nevertheless, related with our own particular Earth-our Philosophical Earth, which is called physical body, and also Malkuth, the three-dimensional world-this three-dimensional body of mine has its own particular Mount of Olives too, and it is the pineal gland.

Within is we also find the two olive branches upon the right and left sides of the temple.

Alchemically, psychologically, we say the physical body is a temple that we have to clean, a temple within which God must abide, and in order to do that we have to do a psychological, Alchemical work.

For this Alchemical work, we have to liberate the golden oil out of these two olive branches that Zachariah talked about. This oil is precisely the sexual libido which is where the image of God abides, and which must rise in the spinal column from the very bottom of your coccyx to the pineal gland; this is how the creative energy rises upon the right side of the candlestick (spinal column) and upon the left side thereof as the oil of the lamp.

If you have an oil lamp you will understand this better: The oil is in the bottom, then you put the wick for the light to shine in the very top of the lamp. Now if you understand that that wick is the spinal column or the medulla, spinal medulla, and that the oil has to go through it from the bottom to the top, which is the pineal gland, you understand then that the light is the fire of Pentecost, which is precisely the creative energy, the solar force, which is liberated from your own oil, which is precisely the sexual creative matter, sexual energy.

The sexual oil rises through the two cords, the two olive branches, which in the book of Genesis are called Adam and Eve, the lunar and solar force, Ida and Pingala, Yin and Yang, Od and Ob. They receive many names in different religions. The fact is that we have those branches, those conducts through which the solar oil, the force of God, rises to the Mount of Olives.

Understand that this is how the human soul is created.

We are not yet human beings. This means that the Hum, the Humus, the Spirit of the Earth, has not yet risen, to be united with our Manas, the mind, thus, we are only human embryos.

In Zen Buddhism, the human embryo is called Buddhata. We always explain that we have to work to develop that Buddhata. For this we have to put in activity that psychic material, psychological element that we have within. To work with it, with that Buddhata, implies transmutation, because that Buddhata has to grow up.

In the same way that we need the sexual energy in order to create a child, and in the same way that a mother feeds her child in order for it to grow up, likewise we need sexual energy in order to create and feed this Soma Psuchikon within, which is the soul man that the Apostle Paul talks about.

The soul man (the Psuchikon, the image of God) is the Hum-Man being made into the image of God. Through sexual alchemy the image of God emerges from within; we have to understand this.

If we read the book of Genesis literally we will not stop believing that we are already made into the image of God. We can be made into the image of God if we know how. Such an image is the Soma Psuchikon, the Bodies of Glory that we have to create, the Bodhichitta that we have to develop.

Samael Aun Weor states that before the Bodhisattva appears, the Bodhichitta has to appear. However, there are many initiates that do not have the Bodhichitta; they are just building the solar bodies without caring a bit for humanity. They do not care about their fellowmen. These who only build their solar bodies are called Pratyekas ("solitary realizers"). So here we have to understand the difference between a Pratyeka and the Bodhichitta. The Bodhichitta is precisely what Paul of Tarsus talks about-the Soma Psuchikon that we have to elaborate, that we have to build, through meditation, comprehension, and annihilation of the animalistic elements that we have within. Thus, by creating with that image of God we create the Soma Psuchikon or the psychological bodies, which the Master Samael and the Alchemists call mercurial bodies. This is why it is necessary to know the science of Alchemy, the science of the Tree of Good and Evil in order to comprehend what is what we are talking about here.

Many initiates create within themselves the four bodies of glory. But, they never sacrifice themselves for humanity, they never disclose the secret to others, they never talk about it. Those types of selfish individuals are called in Sanskrit Pratyekas; these are people who only care about themselves.

However, when you are building the mercurial bodies yourself and see the benefit that you are receiving by building with the image of God, by building within you such a Soma Psuchikon that the Apostle Paul talks about, then you want to help other people to build those mercurial bodies, and to help them understand that the Soma Psuchikon, the image of God, is something that we have to build. Thus, by doing that, by teaching that, by sacrificing yourself for your fellowmen, by teaching the doctrine, you build the Bodhichitta.

Bodhichitta is something that emerges when one sacrifices oneself for one's fellowmen, when one is not selfish. It is impossible for somebody to develop the Bodhichitta when the initiate is just doing it for himself and does not aid others. The one who is working to build those bodies is called a Sravaka, which means "a hearer," or someone who has heard the doctrine. Yet the selfish Sravaka, when he enters into the world of Tiphereth, becomes a Pratyeka Buddha, meaning somebody that is spiritually selfish, somebody that gained a lot of levels of spirituality, but in a lower octave. He cannot become a Bodhisattva.

Bodhisattva is a title that one has to gain long before creating the mercurial bodies. That is why there are many initiates there that are teaching Bodhichitta, they are teaching the people how to awake, and still they are not married. One of them for instance, a good example, is Yogananda. Yogananda is a beautiful example of Bodhichitta without mercurial bodies. He started working in himself psychologically, and he came to America in order to teach the path, and there are still people practicing what he taught. But unfortunately, he did not build the Bodies of Glory that Paul of Tarsus talk about, the Soma Psuchikon. He awoke a lot of consciousness, and he, because of his sacrifices for humanity, built a lot of Bodhichitta. Now he will have to return and build the Bodies of Glory with the image of God, and he can become a Bodhisattva, because he already has love for humanity within. It is something natural in the Bodhisattva.

Yogananda did not marry because he thought that he could perform the whole work being single, and that was his mistake. In order to create a child in this physical world, a man needs a woman, and a woman needs a man. In order to create we need the two polarities. Regrettably, Yogananda thought that by uniting the two polarities within, that was enough. He ignored that the separation of sexes in the physical plane was made with the purpose of building the solar bodies within. This is why in the beginning, as God was androgynous, the man was also androgynous, but was divided into two sexes in order for them to perform what we are explaining here in this lecture.

So then let us understand that this humanity that in this very moment lives on the face of the Earth, is not formed by humans but humanoids. Physically speaking we have the shape of humans, but psychologically speaking we need to build the Soma Psuchikon. We need to build the Bodies of Glory that are related with the inferior quaternary, with those four Sephiroth. We have to build an astral solar body and a mental solar body-the body of Hod (glory) and the body of Netzach.

Alchemically, the astral body is called the Child of Gold, our own particular inner Christ.

The mental body is called our own inner particular Jehovah, who holds the wisdom of Nature within. In previous lectures we explained that it is related with Elijah (Eliao: "my God is Jah").

Psuchikon relates to these two aspects that we have to comprehend in order to enter into the world of Tiphereth, the Son of Man, the Bodhisattva.

And if ye will receive it, this (Psuchikon) is Elijah, which was for to come. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. - Matthew 11:14,15

We have to work with the science of Peter. Peter is the one who has the keys of Heaven and Earth, and even of Hell. Remember what the Lord says to Peter in the Bible, in the book of John:

That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
 - Matthew 16:18, 19 (The keys of Peter are related with the science of Alchemy.)

This is why when you read in the Bible that Jesus goes into the Mount of Olives, he takes three disciples: Peter, John and Jacobo.

I say Jacobo because indeed this is the correct translation. In the Bible in English he is called James. I do not know why they translated this as James, because in Greek it says Jacobo, while in Hebrew it says Jacob. In Spanish it is translated as Santiago, and because "san" is a contraction of saint, it makes more sense, being "Saint IAO," which is a contraction of Jacobo. Thus, the translation in Spanish makes more sense, but in English it does not. James? Well, James may be a modification of Jacobo. But really, it should say Peter, John, and Jacobo.

Jacobo is occasionally symbolized by having a pumpkin on his head, or sometimes he holds in his hand the half of a pumpkin, and in the other hand the Book of Revelation.

Jesus takes only three disciples to the Mount of Olives. Peter is obviously related with the Mount of Olives, since Peter is related with the pineal gland. In other lectures we stated that in the pineal gland we have the relationship of Moses. Moses goes also to the Mount of Sinai, which in the Old Testament is another symbol for the same mount, where he sees God.
Theophany, Christophany, means the way in which you perceive God. That happens in the Bible many times. You see how the prophets talk with God. Moses saw God face to face, but when people read that he went to the Mount of Sinai and saw God face to face, they think that it was physically. They do not understand that the Mount of Sinai or the Mount of Olives is related with the pineal gland.

When you work in meditation, you understand very well the importance of the activity of the pineal gland. In the pineal gland we have the seat of the soul, the activity of the psychic memory, or remembrance of one's Self. When you are remembering your Self second after second, moment after moment, and you feel your Self within the body, then the center of gravity of that remembrance, of that attention, is in the pineal gland. And if you observe yourself you will see that always when you are remembering your Self you will find a pressure in the pineal gland, a palpitation there, because it is the activity of the Pneuma, of the Spirit, of the soul that we have-whether this soul is an embryo of soul or whether it is already a human soul. That is why Descartes stated that the seat of the soul is the pineal gland. Thus, whether it is an embryo of soul or whether it is the human soul, remember your Self and feel your Self in the pineal gland.

When you build the Human within you, the Soma Psuchikon, understand this is soul controlled by willpower. And that the seat of that soul is in the pineal gland. So from the pineal gland you control your mental solar body, which utilizes the brain. And from the pineal gland through your mind you control your emotional solar body, which is called astral body that manifests through the emotional brain, your heart. And of course, you as a soul manifest through the physical body, remembering yourself, as a human being.

So behold, a real Human Being is that entity that built the Soma Psuchikon: physical, vital, astral, mental bodies-the Bodies of Glory. That is the Human Being. Before having that, we cannot call ourselves Human Beings. Humanoids or intellectual animas is a better title. Anima means soul in Latin, intellectual soul, with the possibility of becoming Human.

Verily I say unto you, Among them (the Bodhichittas) that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he (the Bodhisattva) that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. - Matthew 11: 11

This is why the real Human receives such a title when he reaches Tiphereth, because this is the outcome of the Hum, the Spirit of the Earth. And as a Spirit, Hum, as the superior Manas, Tiphereth in the Tree of Life, is how he perceives God.

  Jesus-at-the-mount-of-olive.jpg

God appears only to the Human Being. He appears to his own image. So that descriptive appearance of angels that you find in the Bible is precisely the aspect of your own particular Monad. When you say Monad you also can say Spirit; you can also say Elohim, or angel in Greek, or Malachim, many names.

When Jesus is in the Mount of Olives he sees an angel. That is his own particular individual God, his own particular angel. You can call it Elohim if you want, or his own particular Jehovah, if you want. And then when Moses goes to the same Mount of Sinai, he sees God there in the burning bush, appearing as fire. And the angel who speaks to him is that superior part of his own Being.

Do you want to talk with your Being? Do you want to know who your Being is, or the name of your own Spirit? Listen: you can receive that in your own Mount of the Olives. In the Mount of Olives, the Mount of Sinai, is how you see God face to face.

Now it is coming into my mind these other sacred scriptures, the Mahabharata from India, from which came this beautiful book called the Bhagavad-Gita, which is a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna.

In the Mahabharata, Arjuna symbolizes Tiphereth; Arjuna is the human soul. Krishna in the Tree of Life is Chokmah, wisdom, Christ.

In this lecture we are discussing the Christophany of the Bodhisattva, meaning, how Christ manifests in front of the Bodhisattva and guides him: how God guides the human being.

Or, as the lecturer in the previous lecture said, how one receives the first law, the law of God, the will of God which will guide you. Here in this physical plane we have the Deuteronomy, the second law that is written for those who are blind, for those who cannot see God for themselves. The blind have to read the Ten Commandments or other sacred scriptures where it is written how to become a human being and how to develop your inner Self. That is the second law.

The first law is for those who have reached Tiphereth. In Tiphereth is precisely where we find Samadhi, ecstasy, rapture, Satori, which is beyond the mind-remember that the mind is Netzach. In Tiphereth, in the sixth dimension, we see the reality of one's Self, without the mind, without thinking. When the mind is silent, completely empty, then the embryo of soul, or the human soul, can escape through the pineal gland directly into the sixth dimension, directly into the Mount of Olives, and experience his own particular Monad, his own particular God, and know the multiplicity within the unity.

Arjuna and Krishna talk about the great battle that Arjuna is going to perform against himself. Gnostically, we know that Arjuna is talking with Krishna in Tiphereth, and he kneels and asks Krishna, "Please Krishna (Christ), show me your true reality, your divine presence." And then Krishna shows Arjuna the universal face of Christ. That is described in the Bhagavad-Gita. That is a Theophany or Christophany.

In the Bible, Ezekiel talks about a Theophany in which he sees God, but you have to understand that this phenomenon is happening in Tiphereth. Ezekiel calls himself the Son of Man. The Son of Man is Tiphereth, the human soul united with Christ, Krishna, united with Quetzalcoatl, or Kukulkan, with Ahura Mazda, Avalokiteshvara or Chenrezig, because that entity-that in the Tree of Life is called Chokmah-receives many names in different religions.

Nevertheless, this Christophany or Theophany of the Bodhisattva happens many times in different levels to the Bodhisattva.

Yet specifically, there is one Christophany of importance. Here in Tiphereth is precisely where the soul has to choose between the Spiral path and the Straight path. Obviously, the one who develops the Bodhichitta by helping others is already a Bodhisattva in potentiality. When he reaches Tiphereth, he is already a human being, he is already a Soma Psuchikon in the image of God. Then he is ready to develop the Soma Pneumatikon.

It is very important for you to know that only the Bodhisattva can develop the Pneumatikon, which is the body of Christ.

We also have to bear that within. To bear that within means to practice sexual magic, because the Pneuma enters into the body and develops in the psychological atmosphere of the Bodhichitta, which is what the Master Samael Aun Weor stated:

The Bodhisattva develops and grows within the psychological atmosphere of the Bodhichitta.

We will say in Christian terms: the Pneumatikon (the heavenly man) develops, grows, within the Soma Psuchikon (the psychological man).

Therefore, Christ cannot incarnate within those that have not developed the Soma Psuchikon. Raising your arm aloft and saying "I believe in Jesus" is not how Christ will descend. Now listen to this, it is written:

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit (Paul is addressing those who are already building the Soma Pneumatikon, Christ), if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. (That Spirit of God that dwell in you is precisely that Christ that came into you after you build the Bodies of Glory, the Soma Psuchikon)

Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

But if the Spirit of (Christ, who is) him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. - Romans 8:9-11

Verse 11 is very important. Read again:

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus...

You know that Jesus rose up and he resurrected, but Paul of Tarsus is saying here, "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you." Who is that Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead and dwells in you? He is talking about those individuals who are already Bodhisattvas, who already reached the Second Birth, who already have the bodies of the soul within, and therefore they incarnated Christ, because they want to go ahead in their psychological and spiritual development. So obviously, if that Spirit is within you, "he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies," or raise your immortal bodies.

In other words, when you reach the second birth and you have the glorious bodies created in the image of God within you, you are before a dilemma, because still you have the bodies of sin, the protoplasmic bodies, those bodies that push you to sin. And that is why when you read apostle Paul he literally says that the inner man wants to do the spiritual things, but the sinner, the man related with the natural bodies, the protoplasmic bodies, just wants to commit sin, and that is precisely a dilemma that happens inside all of us, whether we are being born again, or are starting this process.

That natural sinful nature that we have within always pushes to do animal things, sinful things, related with lust, anger, greed, pride, envy, vanity, laziness, gluttony, etc. This is the natural sinful body that we have within, inside, and that pushes to sin.

Why is it called sin? Because these bodies of sin perform acts in relation with nature: evolving or devolving acts. Those acts have nothing to do with the superior levels, or what in the Bible is called the Kingdom of Heaven, the higher dimensions.

The protoplasmic bodies fornicate and adulterate. The Bodies of Glory do not fornicate, do not adulterate, they follow other laws: human laws. But when we are already with these bodies inside created, then we have that dilemma, because the Bodies of Sin pull us down, while the Bodies of Glory are teaching us about the superior forces. Then we have to annihilate completely the Bodies of Sin, and that is a process in which we need patience. This is why Jesus, in the Mount of Olives, kneels down before his own Angel. And he says:

Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. - Luke 22:42

Jesus knows that he has to descend from the Mount of Olives into the Bodies of Sin and to start working with the annihilation by facing his own karma, because karma exists within the four Bodies of Sin: Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth; mind, emotion and the physical aspects. This is what is in relation with karma. So Jesus knows that he has to face that karma in order to help.

Christ descends; this is the Pneuma. After receiving commandments from your inner Being, you descend down, and then you have to face the three denials of Peter.  Peter is related with the science of sexual transmutation. And Jesus says to his disciples:

All ye shall be offended because of me this night, for it is written, ‘I will smite the shepherd and the sheep shall be scattered.
- Mark 14:27

But, let me read for you how this is related with the Mount of Olives in order for you to follow better what we say:

And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd (Tiphereth), and the sheep shall be scattered. But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.

But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all (the Bodhisattvas).

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. And he taketh with him Peter (faith, related with the pineal gland) and James (which in the Bible in Greek is called Jacobo, which is in relation with prudence, with the pancreas) and John (who is in relation with love, which is behind the heart, the thymus gland), and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; and saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. - Mark 14:26-38

Your Spirit truly is always ready, but your protoplasmic flesh is weak. Jesus asked three times of Peter, "Watch, and pray with me." But when the Lord is praying and working in the world of Tiphereth, and returns to the physical world, he finds them sleeping; do you realize that? It is very clear, since Peter is related with the pineal gland, therefore, we have to be always active, remembering one's Self, because we do not know when the Son of Man will come unto us. Thus, we have to be awakened.

The Lord is always in the sixth dimension doing work for humanity, and when he descends into the pineal gland of all his disciples, he found them sleeping. This is why he says that Peter will deny him thrice before the Logos, symbolized by the rooster that sings twice. This is a symbol of the incarnation of Christ, or the work that we have to perform. Peter is the one who denies the Lord in a very rustic manner; the way in which we deny the Lord is by fornicating.

Those who prostitute the stone-which is the rock, sex, the foundation of God-those who adulterate, fornicate, are denying the Christ. There are many Christians, many fundamentalists who believe in Christ, but they fornicate, so they deny the Lord, even though they love him and they study the doctrine. But if we want to really prove that we love the Lord, we have to prove it in the sex, by not denying him.

Peter denied the Lord thrice; this has a deep meaning that relates to the alchemical work that we have to perform.

Because the Lord has to fight against the lustful elements that we have within, and in the beginning, with the science of Peter, with the keys of Peter which is the science, or the keys of Alchemy, we descend to the Ninth Sphere, sex, in order to transmute. And there is where we always face our lust, our animal elements. Unfortunately we deny the Lord, because the Lord, Christ, is chastity within us. But during the sexual act, lust acts; the lust is very heavy.

We succeed by performing and creating the Solar Bodies, the Soma Psuchikon; such is the first denial. And then we are happy and see the Lord in the sixth dimension. "Lord, I deny you, but behold I conquered temptation, and now I am before you and see you face to face."

And then the Lord says, "I told you, you will deny me thrice."

Peter says: "What?"

"Go down again, because now you have to build the Pneumatikon, and for that you have to fight and disintegrate all of those entities that were denying me, that belong to your psyche." And that is the second denial, related with the initiate, who descends again with Peter, in order to work with Alchemy, and to perform what in Gnosticism we call the Second Mountain, a psychological work where we have to annihilate all of our ego. That is the most difficult denial, because then you face all your psychological elements and disintegrate them, you destroy them.

When you reach the summit of the Second Mountain and are free from ego, then you are before your Christ. The Theophany, the Christophany, is the manifestation before the Lord again. "Here I am Lord, and thanks to you and your help, you helped me to annihilate my ego, now I am saved."

And then the Lord says, "Yes, I told you that you will deny me thrice."

And the initiate says: "What?"

"Yes, now you have to receive the qualifications, and for that, my friend," says the Lord, "Satan has to tempt you, to test you, for eight years." That is the book of Job, which is the last denial. In those eight years the initiate has to fight and face more subtle psychological elements in order to resurrect from the dead.

So as you see, the resurrection only happens after the third denial, because then the rooster sings, which means that Christ is incarnated, the Pneuma is within you completely elaborated. But for that you need the help of John, which is the psyche. And of James, which means you have to work with the lower level, because James or Jacobo is in relation with the pancreas, with the stomach, with the liver, where we find all those negative vibrations, desires, vibrations. And that is why it is written that Jesus takes Jacobo, John and Peter to the Mount of Olives, because they relate to the main elements of the psychological work that we have to perform.

Jacobo works very profoundly with meditation and with the transformation of desire into willpower.

John (that psychological union of our own Essence, our own soul, with the Lord) rests his head on the heart of Jesus, meaning that he is receiving instructions, psychological instructions in order to perform the work, from the heart, from the atom Nous, which is the Lord, which is the Pneuma.

Peter works with the science of Tantra. He has to go into the Ninth Sphere in the sexual act, to work hard in those levels.
Tantra is precisely represented in the cup that Jesus receives from the angel. This cup, it is written, is the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail is in relation with the woman, Malkuth, where he has to go down and face all of those sinful elements that we have within.

Such is the sacrifice of the Lord in the Mount of Olives. To face that, to understand that, is really painful, especially for those who are being born again, because when you are in the sixth dimension, as a soul already built, as a Soma Psuchikon in the image of God, you want to enjoy Nirvana or Heaven, you do not want to go down and return into the physical world, you want to be up there, happy with your inner Being, with your Monad. But the Monad says, "No, I want to take the Straight Path, and you have to go down again, because I do not want to become a hasnamuss of double polarity, I have to become a Bodhisattva, and the Bodhichitta has to be developed completely. So go down and work in the Pneuma, in the other aspects." God says: "Now, bear the Pneumatikon, as you bore the Psuchikon." As you see, that is an Alchemical statement.

This is why we stated that Paul of Tarsus was a Gnostic Alchemist who was teaching and delivering the knowledge to those who already knew about this. It is not as people think, that Paul said: "Oh, you must believe in Jesus, or believe in this or believe in that, and bear the image in your imagination of these two men that I am stating here, and you are done."

The-son-of-man.jpg Understand: the process of acquiring the Second Birth is a psychological, Alchemical, Kabbalistic process, through which we are born again and learn the language of the internal worlds. Such a language of the internal worlds is written in the Book of Revelation. This is why it is stated that Jacobo (James, Santiago) is represented with a pumpkin, which symbolizes the mind, and the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is a book of symbols; it is written with a cryptic language that we have to learn.

I was in (Tiphereth, in) the Spirit (the Pneuma) on the Lord's day (Shamadi), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Revelation 1: 10, 11

But listen carefully: the language that you have to learn is a language we the Gnostics use in order to teach, but you have to comprehend and to elaborate that language by meditating, by transforming your desire from your pancreas, from your liver, from all of those appetites in the area of the lower abdomen which are in relation with James, Jacobo, in order to have light in your pumpkin (your head), in order to overcome your Halloween, and to become Hallowed, a holy man, after facing all the demons of Halloween which are within you. That is the mystery of James, Jacobo. Again, for this you have to develop and understand the language of God, so that you can understand the science of Peter.

So, this is precisely what in Gnosticism we call Theophany or Christophany. It is something that you develop inside. This is written by Gnostics, like Paul in his Epistles. All the writings of Paul of Tarsus-the letters which are after the four Gospels -are Kabbalistic, Alchemistic. Do not read them just like when you read the newspaper, or try to interpret them with a dictionary; in order to know what Paul is talking about, you have to know Kabbalah and Alchemy. Otherwise you fall into mistakes, as the fundamentalists in this day and age unfortunately fell. They repeat what Paul said, but they do not know what they are talking about. They think that they are the Soma Psuchikon, but they only are what they have within, which is the Bodies of Sin that all of us have, which we have to annihilate, because those Bodies of Sin have to be dead.
Let us end with what is written in Romans 6:6:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. - Romans 6: 6, 7

The old man that Paul talks about in this verse is precisely the protoplasmic bodies, the sinful bodies that will be crucified with our Lord, because the Pneuma (the Spirit, Christ) takes the sins of the world, or the sinful world, and crucifies them with him, annihilates them. In the sixth dimension, in Tiphereth, the Lord, Christ, incarnated in the Bodhisattva, passes through tremendous suffering in order to annihilate the karma of that initiate and completely liberate him and transform him into a Bodhisattva, which means into a vehicle of the light.

Do you have questions?

Audience: You said that Peter, Jacob, and John all relate to glands in the body. Judas was an apostle also, so what is his?

Speaker: Judas Thaddeus or Judas Iscariot?

Audience: Iscariot.

Speaker: Judas Iscariot is in relation with the sexual glands. He always betrays the Lord. Your own Judas betrays the Lord, my own Judas betrays the Lord, and that is why he is the only disciple that dies. Meaning: all the sexual animalistic activities of our sexual glands have to die completely; that is Judas. And that is why Judas has the treasure, the money, which is the solar force, you see? So the Lord needs Judas, but Judas has to understand that he has to die, has to be hanged at the end, this is what we have to understand.

In the beginning, we start as Judas, because we have the Bodies of Sin. And we transmute lust into chastity, we transmute anger into sweetness, and we do a psychological transformation, and Judas always is there in the sex ready betray us if we are not careful, since he is related with the Bodies of Sin. To advance we annihilate Judas, because Judas realizes that he has to die, in the same way we have to realize that. But that is a process, it is not one moment in which you hang yourself in the Tree of Good and Evil, of Knowledge, and this is it, no. This process of hanging is a very long process until Judas completely dies. We are going to talk about this in the next lecture, which is the continuation when we enter into the world of Geburah. So do you have another question?

Audience: You said there are superior parts of Malkuth and Yesod; they still remain protoplasmic right? Now, in the state of Limbo, you still carry the protoplasmic bodies there, right? Now, does the Bodhisattva have to go through the state of Limbo, is that a must for everybody?

Speaker: Well, the question is, does the Bodhisattva has to face Limbo? Yes, of course. That is precisely the pain of Jesus in the Mount of the Olives, understanding that he has to face Limbo and to face Hell. It is written that when the Lord died he descends into Hell, and then he resurrects from the dead. To go inside of Hell means to go into the subconsciousness, infraconsciousness, into the Bodies of Sin, into the protoplasmic bodies that we have, that like to fornicate, adulterate, be angry, and all of those elements that we have within. When you create the Body of Liberation in Malkuth, you have that body which is not a sinful body, but yet you still have your physical body, as all of us have physical bodies. And utilize the sinful bodies in order to manifest in this society, because this humanity, this society, utilizes the protoplasmic bodies. This is what this civilization is, protoplasmic bodies, sinful bodies. That is why everybody worships lust, pride, vanity, gluttony. Watch TV or watch any movie and you will see there violence etc., that is related with the protoplasmic bodies. So we are in this society, where everybody worships the Beast, so we have to face it. All of them have the mark of the Beast, people have the protoplasmic bodies within, and we have to go and teach them that they are beasts and not men, as this great philosopher from Greece said, who was famous because of his sarcasm.

Diogenes was looking for a man in the city of Athens. Diogenes was looking with a lamp, in midday, for a man in the city of Athens. They said, "What are you looking for Diogenes?"

"I'm looking for a man."

And they say, "But the men are here in the markets, in the houses and the offices in Athens, there are a lot of men."

"No, no, no, they are beasts," he says, "they are not men. They eat like beasts, they fornicate like beasts, they go and do the same things that the beasts do." And he went throughout the city of Athens and did not find a man, so everybody was feeling insulted. He was living in the back of a barrel and did not find the man that he was looking for. Sarcasm, that was the philosophy of Diogenes...

Audience: (...) Alexander the Great...

Speaker: Yes, Alexander the Great was in front of him and said "Diogenes, what can I do for you?"

He says, "Can you move away from the sunlight please, because you are putting me in shade. Thank you." This is what he says to this great conqueror. Do you know what he meant? He meant to move the protoplasmic bodies from the sunlight. Diogenes knew about this science, and this is the way to find the true man.

When you build the Bodies of Glory (the Soma Psuchikon) within you, this does not mean that the Bodies of Sin disappear by magic, as the fundamentalists believe. They say that when they believe in Jesus then their sins disappear. No, the Bodies of Sin continue there, and you have to incarnate the Lord in order to annihilate them, and that is a process of Alchemy, a long process. It is not a matter of lifting your arm aloft and saying "Okay, this is it, now I am free of sin." No. It is a process. This is why you have to understand, and for this you have to know about meditation, to study about the Bodhichitta and to become a Bodhisattva, which is precisely the contrary of the Sravakas and Pratyeka Buddhas. And that is what is called Gnosticism, pure Gnosticism, in order to transform humanity, but you have to do it in yourself. And, as a Bodhisattva you descend to Limbo, and not only to Limbo. You can descend as Dante, as a Bodhisattva descending into Hell, and see all of those elements, because all the nine layers of Hell in Dante's Divine Comedy are a description of all the elements that we have within, protoplasmic elements that we have to disintegrate, that belong to Klipoth, which is what people call Hell, which is below Malkuth in the Tree of Life.

That is precisely the great dilemma, and many initiates who achieve the Second Birth, who build the Soma Psuchikon, they do not disintegrate the Bodies of Sin, they continue with them, they become hasnamussen, a double polarity. It is represented in Greek mythology by the centaur: half man, half beast. That is an abortion of nature, and is precisely what we do not want to be. We have to disintegrate the animal in order to become a true human being. Let Hercules, Herakles, help us with his twelve tasks.
Do you have another question?

Audience: You said that it takes eight years (...)

Speaker: Well, yes, at the end. Symbolically speaking we always say the work takes about forty years, but this is symbolic. But literally, if you work really hard, you can do it in forty years. These forty years are in relation with the Hebrew letter Mem, which is water. Remember that the Ark of Noah was forty days in the ocean, and the Israelites were forty years in the wilderness. That is a symbol in which you have to work psychologically in yourself. Forty years with the three factors. But at the end of those forty years you have to pass the eight years of Job, in which you have to qualify what you accomplished. When you read the book of Job, that is the last denial of Peter, in which you are being tested. And if you succeed and pass the ordeal of Job, which is the third denial of Peter, then the Lord completely incarnates within you. Of course, nobody can pass that ordeal of eight years with the ego alive; it is impossible. Only after the annihilation of the ego you can be tested in that way.
