We are going to start our class tonight in order to prepare the environment; thereafter we will do some healings, and later, the Gnostic anointment.
First of all, I believe that it is necessary to change, that we must get out of this state in which we find ourselves, that a total and definitive transformation is urgently needed.
Undoubtedly, no change is processed without a special shock.
Obviously, the seven notes (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si), are related to all the events of life.
Do, Re, Mi actually imply a series of events... But, notice that between Me and Fa, there really is a pause: that's obvious... So, Fa, Sol, La, are the subsequent notes. Between the La and Si, there is another pause...
If one intends in life to carry out a program, a project, one will inevitably have to start with the note Do, continue with the Re, and arrive at the note Mi.
When they get to that part, they have difficulties, inconveniences, because there is a pause between the note Mi and the note Fa. At this point, the current of the sound tends to return to the original starting point; and as a consequence or corollary, it is normal for the initial effort to decline, for the project that was started to capsize. But, if one launches a new effort to cross the “pause,” (the pause that goes from the note Mi to Fa), it is obvious, it is normal that it will remain on a straight line, and even ascend the initial impulse, and the business will succeed.
Continuing with all of this, we will see that the notes Fa, Sol, La come later. But, between the note La and the note Si, there is a new pause. If the original impulse is not reinforced, the sound current will return to the original starting point and the company, or the project, or the business will fail.
So, this matter of the seven notes of the musical scale is very important. This question of the current of sound is formidable: you have to give a shock to the sound between the notes Mi and Fa, and another between the notes La and Si. A shock is always needed that enables a project to continue, that enables a change, a transformation.
If a child is born, if he comes into the world, the first shock he receives is that of the air he inhales, that he receives; by inhaling the air, by receiving oxygen for the first time, the child lives. So, we need that merely physical shock to exist.
It is also true that, for example, instead of breathing oxygen, hydrogen, etc., if we were to breathe, for example, carbon monoxide, another shock would occur, but it would not be welcomed by the body: the body would reject it, it would not accept that shock and death would come.
As for our much-vaunted modern civilization, it happens that it needs a shock in order not to die, to not be destroyed; that shock could only be through another civilization, and immensely superior to ours; only then could this civilization continue.
It would be necessary to invent the type of shock to give to this dying civilization, but that type of shock has not been invented that allows this civilization, to transform and to continue to exist. Obviously, this civilization, then, will have to die for the lack of that shock; that's clear...
Going forward, we will have to look at the human being in the light of "genesis"; only in this way could we understand what kind of shocks would lead us to the intimate self-realization of the Being.
What does Genesis tell us? It tells us that:
"In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the Earth"...
The "learned ignoramuses" suppose that this refers exclusively to macrocosmic heavens, and to the merely physical Earth, to the Earth on which we live. I do not deny that Genesis is also referring to these matters, among other things. But, Genesis is specifically referring, in a concrete way as well to the microcosmic humanoid.
The heavens are the states of consciousness within ourselves, within the humanoid himself, the higher levels of the Being. As for the “Earth” (HaAretz הארץ), it is the physical body of any humanoid, the philosophical Earth, cited by medieval alchemists... the philosophical Earth (which is also called the ground, HaAdamah האדמה in Hebrew)...
So, "In the beginning Elohim created the heavens" (the higher states of consciousness of any humanoid) and "the Earth (HaAretz הארץ)", our physicality, (which is also called the ground, HaAdamah האדמה, in Hebrew).
Then Genesis adds:
“And the Earth was formless and void; and darkness was upon the face of the abyss. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters.”
Here, the Earth being “formless and void” is an allusion to the ignorant humanoid, to the "three-brained" or "three-centered biped," mistakenly called "human." In other words, the “formless and empty Earth” is the intellectual animal, whose mind is in the most complete disorder, whose mind is true chaos; whose mind only believes in what the five senses inform it; who lives in the world of animal passions; who knows nothing about the reality, about the esoteric; that is absolutely ignorant, who has never received a ray of light to enlighten their mind, (thus, darkness is upon the face of their subconsciousness, the abyss), etc.
Thus, the common humanoid is an “Earth, formless and void”; it is the humanoid of the market, the humanoid at the public square, the "vulgar man of the Earth," cited in our Gnostic ritual of second degree, etc. It is the sensual and rude type, that is the average of humanoid life. Thus, “Earth formless and void,” is the average humanoid; the average life of all the millions of human beings or better said, "humanoids" currently living in the world...
But how do we escape this state? Let us imagine for a moment that we climb a tower to see the humanoid multitudes, how can we make these multitudes arise out of that state they are in? There is no doubt that each one of those people (who in general make up the multitudes), is an “Earth, formless and void” ... that's obvious. But what to do?
It would take a special shock; only then could there be a change, if such a shock were possible...
Genesis states that Elohim created light:
“And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim separated the light from the darkness.”
What darkness does Genesis refer to? Well, to the darkness that is within oneself, within this philosophical Earth. But what kind of darkness is that? Well, these darknesses (are in the face of the abyss and) constitute the inhuman psychic aggregates that personify our psychological defects: anger, greed, lust, envy, pride, laziness, gluttony, etc., etc., etc...
Well, I have only mentioned the seven deadly sins; these are multiplied by another seven and as many again, and again, and they are legion. Let us think about what the psychic aggregates are; Virgil, the poet of Mantua, said:
“No, not even if I had a hundred mouths, a hundred tongues, and throats of brass, inspired with iron lungs, I could not half those my horrid crimes describe, nor half the punishments those crimes have met.” —The Aeneid
The psychic aggregates, in themselves, constitute the darkness that we carry within. “To separate the light from the darkness,” is something tremendous, because that light is the superlative consciousness of the Being. To snatch the light out from the darkness, means, to unbottle the consciousness, to extract it from each inhuman psychic aggregate. In fact, implies terrible super-efforts that must be made on oneself and within oneself, here and now.
“To snatch the light out from the darkness” means destroying all those receptacles into which the essence, that is light, is placed. It is to disintegrate these aggregates, to pulverize them, so that the essential light becomes free; that is what is meant by "separating the light from the darkness"...
“And Elohim called the light day and the darkness –of ignorance and error– he called night” ...
One has to know in order to understand this, to comprehend this; I think the brothers and sisters are already reflecting upon this...
[The Firmament, Hebrew רקיע Rakia, from the root Raka רקע (to spread out) a surface separating the various levels of heaven.]
Continuing like this, Genesis states:
And Elohim said, Let there be a firmament (רקיע Rakia) in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
So, we see here how the creator (or the Elohim) separates the superior waters from the inferior waters; this already belongs to the very field of alchemy.
“Thus saith יהוה, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am יהוה that makes all things; that stretches forth (Natah נטה) the heavens alone; that spreads abroad (raka רקע) the Earth by myself.” – Isaiah 44: 24
Obviously, in us there is brute mercury, that is, the brute mineral. When the brute Azoth or brute mineral (which is none other than the exiohehari) is transmuted, that is, the sacred sperm—or speaking in other terms the secretions of the sexual endocrine glands—then energy is obtained; energy that will ascend to the brain through their respective channels that are well known by the occult anatomy.
That is energy-substance (I understand that we have reached a "monism" in which energy and mass are no longer differentiated, because that creative energy of the Third Logos is substance at the same time, a substance that rises through the spermatic channels to the brain), that substance-energy, is undoubtedly the metallic soul of the sacred sperm, of the exiohehari.
This metallic soul of the sacred sperm is, then, energy and it is substance. As a substance, we might call it the "mercury of secret philosophy"; it is not a dry mercury like that of the “I’s”, or psychic aggregates that personify our errors, no! It is a liquid, aqueous mercury.
Looking at these things from this point of view, we see how the superior mercurial waters become detached, or separated from the inferior waters. Behold here the “division of the waters from the waters” ...
“And Elohim made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.” ...
It is clear that those superior waters are mercury, which has to go through several phases before it becomes worthy to receive the sulfur.
In principle, these mercurial waters are black as coal. Later, based on great sublimations, that is, by refining the "sacrament of the church of Romae", which is the church of love (because "romae" in reverse is said to be “Amore, love”) by refining such a sacrament, I say, it is achieved, and it is true, that the black water turns white, and later yellow.
In alchemy there are animals that allegorize these phases of the mercury. Mercury is said to be black in principle and is represented by the black raven; this then turns white and is represented by the white dove; which then turns yellow and is represented by the yellow eagle; and finally, it is red and is represented by the red pheasant.
So, mercury has to go through four phases: first, black; second, white; third, yellow; fourth, red. And these phases are made possible by the sublimation of the work in the forge of the Cyclopes.
So, you are beginning to understand the sacrament of the church of Romae, and you already know it since you are from the third chamber. It is understood that the brothers and sisters who come to the third chamber are very prepared; they who have already passed through the antechamber, first chamber, second chamber, and are already receiving this type of higher education. That is why they are spoken to in a symbolic, allegorical manner, to see if they are able to grasp the teachings.
When mercury has turned yellow, it obviously receives sulfur. What is sulfur? It is the sacred fire; the fire has to fertilize the mercury. So, by mixing the fire with the currents of mercury, it ascends through the spinal medullar canal, to the brain.
We are speaking about the superior waters. So, where will we leave the inferior waters? They continue to exist... the inferior waters, if at first they were black, or grubby, later they have to become completely clear, become crystalline, like liquid glass, flexible, malleable. This is what is called:
And Elohim said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And Elohim called the dry land Earth…
But what is this “dry land”? What “dry land” are we referring to? To what “dry land” does "the book of genesis" allude to? Well, the “dry land” of genesis,” is the superior existential bodies of the Being; that is what genesis alludes to as, “dry land.”
Obviously, this ascending mercury, mixed with the sacred fire or sulfur, also carries a certain amount of salt (sublimated salt), and it crystallizes in us, within ourselves, according to the law of octaves.
Salt, sulfur and mercury mixed, receive a name in alchemy, they are called "Azoth." Well, that Azoth, in general, will crystallize within us according to the law of the octaves. In a higher octave it will crystallize in us and becoming the astral body. That crystallization is also verified, or carried out, according to the law of seven, with the law of the eternal Heptaparaparshinock, according to the seven musical notes: do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, si.
In a second octave salt, sulfur and mercury come to crystallize with those same notes of the scale in the mental body, or body of the mind.
And finally, a third crystallization comes to materialize in the causal body or body of the cognizant will. If someone possesses the physical, astral, mental and causal bodies, that one can, for this reason, receive within himself the ethic, psychic or spiritual principles, which will make him or her a human being, in the image and after the likeness of Elohim.
All the processes that are in alchemy, where reference is made to "the green grass, to every tree that bears fruit", are internal. Obviously, the Tree of Knowledge, the Tree of the Science of Good and Evil, must bear such fruit in us...
The seed of wisdom must germinate in us; the lights of the spirit must enlighten us, the spiritual sun must give us life... until at the end of so many works of alchemy: eliminating the inferior psychic aggregates, taming the "fish" and "animals" that we have within us and making us kings and queens, who have dominion over them, until destroying them within us; so that the human being appears, who is [Tob טוב, the good "Adam מאד"] the Adam אדם made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim, on the sixth day of creation.
But this [good, tob טוב] Adam אדם is not yet; for such a motive, (HaAdam Nephesh Chaiah האדם נפש חיה), a living soul human, the human of the sixth day is made only in the image and after the likeness of Elohim, but he is not (HaAdam Nephesh Chaiah האדם נפש חיה) the living-soul human. The living-soul human is the human of the seventh day; that indeed is the living-soul human: the human who has been integrated with (Chaiah Binah חיה בינה) the divinity, the superhuman, the resurrected master, to whom it is tacitly alluded to, I clarify, in the book of “genesis.”
If, in order to transform ourselves into humans made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim, we need a special shock, which is that of the objective esoteric knowledge; obviously, to become living soul humans we will need a third special shock...
Let us specify: in order for the physical humanoid to exist, we need a physical shock, that is the air that is breathed at the moment of birth. For a human made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim to exist, another shock is needed, which is defined with those words that say:
“And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim separated the light from the darkness.”
The ignorant humanoids need a special shock, they need someone to bring them knowledge, they need someone to bring them the teachings, they need to receive the lights of esotericism; that will produce in them a special shock. Only that special shock can transform them later, can turn them, let's say, what is called “the human made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim,” on the sixth day.
Already, on the seventh day things change. To become a living soul human, the human of the seventh day, another shock of a very special kind is needed: a human of the sixth day, is a human made in the image and after the likeness of the eternal one, but not yet a living-soul human. It takes a third shock in order to become a living-soul human.
If a human of the sixth day (made in the image and after the likeness of the eternal one), wants to become a living soul human, he must become resurrected... he could not become resurrected without a special shock. Thus, he needs to descend, to go down to the infernal worlds, to the ninth sphere, to disintegrate the demons of his black moon.
I have already explained many times to you, that our psychological moon has two faces: the one that is seen and the one that is not seen. Just as the visible physical moon has two faces, the one that is seen and the hidden one that is on the other side. So too, I have to tell you, that the psychological moon within ourselves has two faces: the one that is seen, that is, those defects that stand out to the naked eye; and the one that is not seen, the occult one, the hidden one.
Many saints who progressed plenteously, remained stagnant when they believed that they had finished with their ego; yes, they had destroyed many inhuman elements on the visible side of their psychological moon, but they had not disintegrated the inhuman elements on the hidden side of their psychological moon.
They absorbed themselves in nirvana or mahaparanirvana, convinced that the undesirable elements of their psyche had been disintegrated, pulverized; later they realized that they had not yet reached the goal… many undesirable elements remained in the hidden part of their psychological moon. They had to return to their esoteric work.
Thus, my dear brothers and sisters, it is good to understand that as long as one has not eliminated the undesirable elements of their psyche, obviously things are going wrong. Those who think that progress can be made without eliminating the undesirable elements of their psyche are mistaken, totally wrong.
The human made in the image and after the likeness of the eternal living Elohim (who created the heavens and all things in it, the Earth and everything that exists) must necessarily receive a special shock, if he really wants to become a living-soul human.
And that shock would not be feasible, if he did not go down to the ninth sphere. That shock is only possible there; only there can you receive that special shock, and receiving it, only there would it be possible to disintegrate the undesirable elements that remain within his interior.
This kind of work related to the black moon is called in esotericism "the initiation of Judas," that is, the passion for the Lord.
Rare are the human beings who have reached such heights; however, I am content to show you the path that leads to final liberation.
This path is not for fools. It is not for people who are bottled up, let's say, among the moral codes written by so many “intellectual humanoids.” It is a difficult path; this path is called “the starry path.” It is named this way because it is symbolized with eight stars in the firmament.
A path full of unforeseen dangers, a path of anguish and pain. Nicholas Flamel, the distinguished medieval alchemist, walked on that path. It is the path that leads to Compostela...
We have to understand what the word “Compostela” means: “compo” means “to receive”; “stela” means “stella” or “star,” thus, “to receive the star.” To become a living-soul human, one must receive the six-pointed star; that is, the seal of Solomon. This is also duly documented by the tomb of the initiate, which must shine.
Do not forget that the Divine Mother Kundalini (Ath את, the Schekinah שכינה) is the one who raises the sepulchers of the initiates. When I say “tomb of the initiates” I am not referring to physical tombs but to psychological tombs, in which the remains of dead “I’s” must be deposited.
When the grave shines, it is because there is not a single “I” left inside the sepulcher; then the star shines. It is necessary to know how to understand this...
With the pilgrim who goes to Compostela, Nicolás Flamel symbolizes, among other things, the Mercury of the secret philosophy or the Apostle Santiago the Elder, or James the Great.
Obviously, the twelve apostles that the Bible speaks about are not merely twelve historical apostles, as the learned ignoramuses suppose, no! These twelve powers are within one's Being; they are twelve autonomous and self-cognizant parts, and even self-independent of our own individual, particular Being.
Of those twelve apostles the most interesting, there is no doubt, is Santiago the Elder or James the Great, because Santiago-James represents the mercury of the secret philosophy, and mercury is the foundation of the great work. Santiago, or James, is therefore, let's say, the blessed boss of the great work.
Historically, the twelve apostles existed, I do not deny that, but they allegorize or symbolize the twelve apostles that each one of us carries within.
With this, I do not want to say that all those present here have already incarnated the twelve apostles... I do not want to exaggerate. To be able to incarnate the twelve, it is necessary to inevitably have died within ourselves, to have destroyed the animal ego.
These twelve potencies were obviously deposited by the savior in the womb of the Divine Mother Kundalini (Ath את, the Schekinah שכינה); from there they arise to manifestation, they come and enter our physical body.
Do not confuse the twelve powers with the twelve faculties. Certainly, we have twelve faculties; that is, five ordinary senses and the seven churches of the "apocalypse" of Saint John. These twelve faculties are not the twelve potencies, but they do relate, in one way or another, to the twelve potencies.
Thus, my dear brothers and sisters, Santiago for example, represents the great work, and, let's say, the teachings related to the great work come from the father of all the lights, which come into the mind through James the Great, the apostle. But let's not think about the historical Santiago, I repeat, I am talking about the particular Santiago, James the Great within each one of us.
Within us are the twelve potencies; there are also the twenty-four elders; there are the four who direct the four elements, etc., etc., etc. The Being of each one of us seems like an army of children, of infants; each one of the parts of the Being enjoys autonomy, self-cognizance, self-independence.
That we need to perfect each one of the parts of the Being... that is real, that is true and truthful, but that is only possible by eliminating the subjective elements of perception. Perfecting the superior part of the Being is very difficult! Whosoever manages to perfect the superior part of his own Being receives the degree of Ishmesch. Few are the ones who reach those heights...
We must begin, of course, to create within ourselves the human made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim. This human could not spring into existence without a special shock; that shock is the light of gnosis; it is the shock of the light that is going to take him out of the chaotic state in which he lives and is going to turn him into a self-cognizant human.
But, if we just stayed there, we would be in a bad condition. We need to become super-humans; we need to create, to make the living soul human of the seventh day to emerge within us. This also requires a special shock that the " the learned ignoramuses" do not understand. When an initiate, who is a human made in the image and after the likeness of the eternal one, tries to become a living-soul human, he is not understood...
Now you will explain to yourselves why the twelve apostles are slandered: the "virtuous" slander them, the "priests" of the temple slander them and the "elders" slander them. Who are the "virtuous"? Who are the "priests" of the temple? who are the “elders”? This is worthy of reflection...
The "scribes", the intellectuals, those who are attached to so many codes of rotten morality, those are the famous "virtuous" who condemn the initiates.
Who really are the “elders”? Well, simply, the very judicious people, very full of experience; they never understand initiates.
Lastly, who are the “priests”? People of all religions, of all cults.
So, the twelve saints, the twelve potencies, the twelve apostles are usually slandered; but they march firmly to where they must march. Santiago the Elder, the blessed patron of the great work, James the Great is firmly on the path that leads to Compostela (I am speaking in an esoteric, superior language, for those who are in the third chamber, because I understand that here no one is going to be admitted who is not ready, right? I'm speaking here to those I think they're ready, who are on third chamber).
So, my dear brothers and sisters, you see those shocks that are received, which are necessary for transformation, they are vital...
There is a book, yes, that can guide us all; it is very wise book, but no one understands it. Any of you can buy it in the market, it is sold in heaps, but nobody, holding it in his hand, nobody is able to open it. who is worthy to open the book and loosen its seals?
No one could, neither in heaven nor on Earth, no one there who could open the book or loosen its seals; I am referring to the "Apocalypse" of Saint John. Nobody understands that book, thanks to that they haven't adulterated it, otherwise by now it would already be a corpse. But, since no one understands it, they have left it for peace. In the “Apocalypse” of Saint John is all the science of the great work; that science is in it!
Santiago the Elder or James the Great appears, then, with the “apocalypse” in his hand; he carries a stick, in his hat a seashell; he leans on his staff (the rod), with the other hand he grasps the “apocalypse” (rolled up), and in his hat he wears the shell; his hat is something very curious, it is made (as a rare thing), from a pumpkin gourd.
Let us remember that, precisely in the Middle Ages, many mystics had holy water in a gourd, the sacred water, that is, the mercury of the secret philosophy.
The "Apocalypse" can guide us if we receive teachings from the father of all the lights. It is not possible to receive them except through Santiago the Elder, James the Great. Santiago-James is the mercury of the secret philosophy, and mercury must be prepared in the forge of the Cyclopes, in the Laboratorium Oratorium of the Third Logos, there the mercury with which one must work is prepared...
We need a sulfured mercury, the mercury, the sulfur and properly mixed with sublimated salt.
Returning to the book of “genesis”, we will say that it is a book that it is not understand either. The Bible begins with “genesis” and ends with “apocalypse”.
Who understands the book of “genesis”? Who understands the book or Revelation, the "apocalypse"? No one. There are authors who assume that the entire "genesis" is exclusively related to the human being; let's not be exaggerated, let's not exaggerate the note, it is also related to the universe...
When someone is creating within oneself the human made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim, obviously that one is working with the same force with which Elohim created the world; one becomes like a small field of the world, within which a creation has to be made. That is where one comes to know how Elohim created the world. Thus, the book of "genesis" is applicable to the macrocosmic human, but in a symbolic, allegorical manner.
No one could understand the book of "genesis" if one were not an alchemist; alchemists know that this is so. For instance: if, in order to create the human made in the image and after the likeness of Elohim we necessarily need salt, sulfur and mercury, likewise, it is the same up there in the macrocosm.
From those entities of the endless space arises within the archeus composed of salt, sulfur and mercury and it is from that archeus that a new cosmic unit, a new solar system, emerges.
Down here we have to create an archeus within ourselves with salt, sulfur and mercury, so that this archeus sprouts, not a new cosmic unit, but as a human made in the image and after the likeness of the creator.
The living soul human bears the six tridents on his horns; it is clear that this reminds us of the seal of Solomon, the six-pointed star, the star must have the six tridents on its horns. Likewise, if that one is a self-realized human, that one is a human who can firmly establish his Self in the sacred Anklad. So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the end of tonight's lecture.
Disciple: Master, for a human to become a trident, a trident-human, does he need to be already higher?
Samael Aun Weor: That a human becomes a trident? No! It is that the tridents mark exactly the degrees of perfection reached by objective reasoning; a (Podkoolad) human has but five tridents, therefore he is made in the image and after the likeness of the eternal one. If five tridents appear on his horns on his forehead, obviously he is a human made in the image and after the likeness of the creator, but not a living-soul human. A living soul human (an Anklad human), I repeat, bears six tridents on his horns.
We know very well what a “trident” is: the three-pronged fork. Well, Lucifer has the horns, they are carried by the inner Lucifer that each one of us has within. Lucifer is a reflection of the Logos. In the beginning that Lucifer is the devil, black as coal. When one destroys the ego, that Lucifer becomes the archangel of light, and when integrating with us Lucifer makes us archangels. Lucifer will also keep his silver horns (the silver horns of the hierophants), the number of tridents indicates their degree of progress.
Disciple: Master, we have learned that there are masters who undertake the path of the Absolute, we have also been told that all the angels who did not fall and who merged into the Absolute are beyond all possible comprehension, what kind of exaltations can there be within them from the bosom of Ain, the Absolute? Well, but then there are masters who have reached the precious gem and throw it into the water once, twice, three times. What purposes do these masters pursue? Isn't it enough, let's say, with the exaltations that are subsequently achieved within the absolute, or what other kind of exaltation or wisdom does that master, that patriarch, seek?
Samael Aun Weor: Well, in India it is known that the initiate or the yogi who pursues precisely the union with God himself, has nothing more to look for, since he has already found God. But, if he wants to progress a little more, delve deeper into God, if you want to delve deeper into God (because god is not a person, god is the divine), you will need to descend again by retrogradation; you must try again to give life to the philosopher's stone and arise again.
Obviously, if someone does it like that, that one penetrates deeper, because that is allegorized with the famous phoenix: a bird that flew and flew around, and had an ineffable gold crown, its legs were gold, its plumage blue, it lived thousands and thousands and thousands of years; and finally tired of living, the mythology says that she built a nest made up of incense, myrrh, aloe, sandalwood, etc., and was incinerated there. The whole nature was filled with deep sadness when seeing the phoenix turn into ashes, but finally she rose from her own ashes, more powerful than before, more majestic, more profound. The whole of nature then feared her and adored her...
Likewise to whosoever throws the philosopher's stone into the water is looking for something, he is looking to resurrect his own stone a little later, and that costs him a lot of pain, a lot of sacrifices, a lot of suffering; as a result of that he will give life to a more powerful stone, more divine, the stone of virtues more extraordinary, more imponderable.
Disciple: Master, but we have been told that there are masters who have gone beyond sex, therefore sex is forbidden. Can we not think that within the absolute there are other kinds of exaltations?
Samael Aun Weor: Unquestionably, the path that leads to the bosom of the eternal common cosmic father is the path of sex, there is no other path; Whoever submerges himself in the bosom of the eternal common cosmic father never returns to sex again; but it is very difficult to be absorbed into the bosom of the eternal common cosmic father; rare are those who achieve it. Impossible no, but very difficult.
Only those who submerge themselves in the bosom of the common eternal cosmic father are those who have knocked on the 13th door, on the Ain, on the unmanifested Sat; only those can afford to pass beyond sex...
The current humanity makes its descending march through the devolving descending arc; obviously, as the cycle of existences ends (which is always 108), one enters the bowels of the earth through the cycles of time. There one goes through processes analogous to the beast, vegetable, mineral, etc.; not on the physical plane—such as animals, vegetables, minerals—but in the atomic infernos of nature. That is the reason why the demons take the form of beasts, etc.
An individual who only allows himself the luxury of creating an astral body for his personal use, and then becomes a hasnamuss, by devoting himself to black magic, if he does not regenerate into new existences, he enters the mineral kingdom directly on the physical plane, so that he can remove what he has of hasnamuss. And, once eliminated, he continues in humanoid bodies and as a humanoid, although it may be the case that he is sent to the infernal worlds.
Not all traitors go directly to the ninth Dantesque circle; they are special cases, like the one mentioned by Dante: the individual who invites his wife, his children and his entire family to dinner and then poisons them all with the desserts. He endures thousands and even millions of years in the ninth Dantean circle.
Fourth dimension: we have said that the fourth dimension is time, that is the truth. There are three dimensions to a table: length, width, and height; but there is a fourth dimension how long ago did the carpenter made the table? That is its fourth dimension. Now, the fourth dimension is processed in time, this is true... In any case, there is a difference between time and the fourth dimension, just as there is a difference between the vase that is on the table. The fourth vertical exists as a geometric concept, it exists as time, but in an existence that, like all existences, is relative, because a universe is nothing more than a dream of Brahma. Now then, after the cosmic night arrives, the universe ends, it vanishes like soap bubbles, in a way that El Kybalion already said: “everything is and is not at the same time.” The fourth dimension exists and will exist as long as the Mahamanvantara exists.
That time is processed in the fourth dimension? Well, somewhere it would have to be processed, but this does not mean that time is the fourth vertical, but it does have a relative existence; because, just as if one does not arrive on time to catch the train, the train leaves you.
In the Sacred Absolute Sun, the universe in a complete, integral, unitotal form has its existence and its intelligence in the Sacred Absolute Sun. Now, as the different phenomena of the universe crystallize, they cause a variety of time to be born: for example, we see how the sun rises and sets, and we say that it rose at 6, and sets at 6 and that 12 hours have passed. But where are those hours? Could they be analyzed in a laboratory? They have no reality; they are subjective concepts and a subjective opinion. Indeed, the process of rising and setting of the sun are two phenomena. These two processes of rising and setting of the sun are happening from instant to instant, from moment to moment; but we have our dear hours; this is a concept of the mind, therefore time has no objective reality, and since it is subjective, it is processed in the fourth vertical, but this does not mean that time is the fourth vertical.
Many believe that genesis was processed a few million years ago... sorry, that is not the case. Genesis is to be lived through sexual alchemy. The alchemists have to work within themselves with the same laws that Elohim used to create the universe. Thus, genesis belongs to the work with oneself, here and now. It is said, for example, that:
“In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth.” - Genesis 1:1
What earth does genesis refer to? Well, to our philosophical earth, to the physical bodies of the alchemists, or the “elemental earth of the wise.”
“And the earth was formless and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters.” - Genesis 1:2
That relates to the first day of all creation, in which one has to go down to the infernal worlds to work. In the beginning, our spermatic chaos is in darkness; this philosophical earth, the human body or sexual system, is in a complete disorder. However, the spirit of Elohim moves over the spermatic waters of the first instant.
“And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: And Elohim divided the light from the darkness. And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” - Genesis 1:3-5
That is the first work that one has to do in alchemy: to separate the light from the darkness, to extract the light from the darkness. Then, one has to go down into the abyss; making light is very difficult, but not impossible.
“And Elohim said: Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” - Genesis 1:6
That is clear: we must separate the superior waters from the inferior waters. This is what is called “preparing the mercury of the wise,” the mercury of the secret philosophy, since we already well know that mercury is the metallic soul of the sacred sperm. The superior waters must be separated from the inferior waters.
"And Elohim made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And Elohim called the firmament Heavens. And the evening and the morning were the second day.” - Genesis 1:7-8
This relates to the second part of the alchemical work of the great work: preparing the mercury of the secret philosophy to work intensely. Such superior part of that mercury is called “heavens” and the inferior part is called “earth.”
“And Elohim said: Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And Elohim called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: And Elohim saw that it was good.” - Genesis 1: 9-10
This is a difficult work, it relates to the third day, in which one has to make one's astral body. The first day is related to the physical body, the second to the vital and the third to the astral.
“And Elohim said: Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day.” - Genesis 1:11-12
This is the part corresponding to the perfection of the astral body; that is, if one has been manufactured it, this corresponds to the period of converting the astral body into a body of pure gold. It has to do with the seed, because the seed is sexual, and is intimately related to the astral.
Then comes the fourth day:
“And Elohim said: Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years; And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
And Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And Elohim set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and Elohim saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day” – Genesis1: 14-19
This relates to the fourth work that has to be done with the mind. Since the mental world is the world of hermetic magic, there one works with the sun and the moon, with the masculine and feminine principles. The stars are the stars of the spirit; faculties and are related to (Binah) intelligence. This has to do with the creation of the mental body and those who already have it; with the perfection of said body. So, this is relatively easy to understand...
“And Elohim said: Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
And Elohim created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.
And Elohim blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day” - Genesis 1:20-23
This relates to the fifth day of work, which has to do with the causal body, with the creation of said body, and those who already have it, must deal with the causes of their errors, with those terrible monsters from which the “I’s” came from, with those causes that gave rise to so many psychological defects. Such causes are true beasts to be dealt with and suffered. This is known by everyone who has worked in the great work. This, then, belongs to the causal body.
“And Elohim said: Let us make Adam in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
And he created Elohim Ath Ha Adam (ויברא אלהים את-האדם) in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.” - Genesis1: 26-27
It is necessary to understand that this is not as it is commonly believed: it is clear that, on the sixth day of work, we have to suffer since we have to deal with all the monsters that we ourselves have created, and that correspond to frightening and terrible states of consciousness. But the great thing about this day is that the Buddhi or spiritual soul achieves complete Christification. She is the soul-spirit, which comes to integrate completely with the human soul. One is masculine and the other is feminine. From the fusion of both results the true human (male and female at the same time), the hermaphrodite-spirit, the true divine, perfect, authentic human. This relates to the sixth day of work.
Then Genesis continues, telling us (giving orders to the true human, to the spirit-human):
“And Elohim blessed them; and Elohim said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” - Genesis 1:28
The humans, indeed, if they are capable of eliminating all of their internal beasts, that is, their own defects and the causes of their defects, become kings and queens of creation, of all that is and will be. Thus….
“And Elohim said: Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
And Elohim saw everything that they had made, (and behold והנה) here it is (good "Adam טוב "מאד) very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” - Genesis 1: 29-31
“And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim had created and made.” - Genesis 2: 1-3
Genesis is also related to the creation of the planet earth, which was first mental, then descended to the astral, then to the etheric and then to the physical. All of this process is completed in six days or six periods, and on the seventh day there is repose. Each one of these (7) periods are eternities.
Dissolution of the “I”: to dissolve the beast, one must first engage the sense of self-observation. It is necessary to observe. If one is sitting on a chair, one knows that one is sitting, but that does not mean that one has observed oneself on the chair; in the first case there is a state of inattention, in the second there is a state of concentrated attention. Someone might know that one is thinking, but this does not mean that one has observed one’s thoughts. Someone may be aware of a negative state inside, a low emotional state, but this does not mean that one has been watching oneself.
True observation is often confused with knowledge. One may know that one is in an undesirable state and yet not have observed it. True observation should also not be confused with thinking. One may realize that one follows certain negative and harmful thoughts, this does not mean that one is observing them. There is a need to learn to observe carefully in order to know oneself. When one carefully observes one’s physical body, at first it becomes difficult to discover any errors. Later, one comes to discover any psychological defect and that is where one must begin.
Normally, the Gnostic student does not know where to begin the dissolution of the “I.” It is necessary to observe, to self-observe. What one has to do is to observe the defect in question, to know its mode of action; any “I” can express itself in the motor, instinctive, sexual center, in one way, in the emotional center, located in the heart in another way, and in the intellectual in another way.
First observe it, know it; then, you have to critically judge it, analyze it and comprehend it, that's the second step. Later comes the third: execution, then there will be a need to concentrate on the divine mother kundalini and beg her to separate from our psyche and reduce to ashes the defect or psychological “I” that we have first observed and then critically judged. As the “I” dissolves, the essence will be released little by little. Thus, too, when all the “I’s” have completely dissolved, a permanent center of consciousness will be formed in us, it will be the golden embryo. The true powers are in the essence. Within us live many people with contradictory interests.
Now we will explain why you have to learn to pray: you have to know how to pray. In the field of practical life, we can observe four states of consciousness:
The first state is completely subhuman, it is that of the subject who left his physical body on the bed. The ego wanders through the molecular world dreaming, fooling around in the state of absolute unconsciousness. Fortunately, the physical body is passive while on the bed. But what if the physical body were awake, active for dreams, while the ego wanders? what would the results be?
The second state of consciousness is that of the human who has awakened from the common and ordinary sleep; the one who has awakened and is active for his dreams, the dreamer who has continued active for his dreams, in the so-called vigil state. If a prayer is made from that first and second floor of our inner house, then it would be completely negative, because one can in an unconscious, mechanical state. For example, pray for rain, and many “I’s” that exist within us seem like real people who come and go independently; they have no interest for that rain, and they can grasp the sense of praying, but they will ask for not to rain. One can, in a mechanistic state, ask to get out of this or that economic, moral, social or political problem; and the “I’s” as they are contradictory, each one has its criteria, its way of being and thinking, they ask for exactly the opposite of what one was going to ask for, and nature responds, does, and since they are greater, it will respond with forces contrary to those that we here in the physical world have requested.
For prayer to have power, one needs to be in the third state of consciousness, which is the intimate remembrance of the self; when one concentrates on one’s Divine Kundalini Mother or on one’s Father who is in secret, there is an intimate remembrance of oneself.
If we ask our Divine Mother, who is one of the parts of our inner Being, to eliminate any undesirable element, there is an intimate self-remembrance, and the prayer reaches her. This is cognizant prayer, which is different from mechanical prayer.
The fourth state of consciousness is that of the truly enlightened ones, the Turiyas, of the Elohim humans; here one speaks with the Father who is in secret, with the Divine Mother, face to face.
So, in order to ask, you have to place yourself in the third state of consciousness, internally, deeply concentrated, uniting the mental, emotional and motor centers in perfect harmony. There is no doubt that within us live three brothers who live fighting with each other, and who never agree; the first one is the intellectual center, the second one is the emotional center and the third one is the motor-instinctual-sexual center, along the spinal medulla and genitalia. The mind wants one thing, the emotion another, and the motor-instinctual-sexual center another. For the concentration in prayer to be perfect, effective, it is necessary to formulate it clearly with the mind, feel it in the heart and move and act in the direction of the prayer. Thus, by uniting thought, emotion or feeling and action in one, there the egos are eliminated.
However, we must divide ourselves into observer and observed, as explained before….
